Rating
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Beat's Artifact List

Beat's Artifact List
A list of the most notable items from Beat's artifact collection, with notes to a possible successor. Even the world's most powerful magician isn't immortal, after all.
Sétanta's Spear: An ancient spear, though Beat has transformed it into a staff. While it normally is only about 6 inches long when Beat speaks the appropriate command it grows into a full staff. It is capable of handling extreme amounts of magical energy, and Beat channels his Incarnum through it. It is an important weapon to him because it allows him to use his powers to aid him in battle in a non-lethal capacity. It can be returned to its natural state if it's truename is spoken, though Beat refuses to say it or tell anyone what it is.
Beat's notes: This is my trusty beatdown stick. It might not seem like much, but it's probably the most magical item I ever collected. You'll find you can channel your magic through it, but it'll take out some of the more destructive aspects of it. It was originally a spear, but I hope I took the secret to reverting its form to my grave. The world no longer needs such a bloody weapon.
Bracelets of Shu: Bracelets embodying control and stamina. This is what allows Beat control over his powers, and are embedded permanently into his wrists.
Beat's Notes: If I failed to take these to the grave, I recommend leaving them alone. They hold great power, but once you put them on there's no going back. Only use if the need is dire.
Excalibur: Supposedly once an ancient sword of legend, Beat has transformed it into a simple pen. It is capable of writing dictated messages by itself, and can write messages that only appear to those that the writer wishes.
Beat's Notes: Yeah, it's that Excalibur, but trust me the pen is mightier than the sword. See, Excalibur is based off belief magic so their are as many Excalibur's as their are stories about it. The problem with belief magic is its strength tends to wane in and out over centuries, sometimes disappearing completely. Never depend on it.
Mr. Eimin: Beat's familiar, who helps him keep his powers focused. Mr. Eimin is a supernatural being whose origins are largely unknown even to beat. He takes the form of a digital pet in a small egg-shaped device. He is represented by black pixels as a faceless winged figure, though he occasionally chooses a different appearance. He has no power in this world, though he is aware of his surroundings. He occasionally offers Beat advice, though he is most often silent with a black screen and white Z's. His opinions are somewhat dark, and he rarely agrees with Beat despite choosing to help him.
Beat's Notes: If I'm no longer in this world, then Mr. Eimin will leave as well. We magicians need worldly tethers to focus our powers. Many of us choose not to rely on a person for this, so we choose familiars. If you need one, it will find you so don't worry too much about it. This will just be a broken toy when I'm gone.
