Didn't think I'd see you here (closed to unrealistic.entity)

Slipping on a pair of jeans, a white tank top and a pair of converse sneakers, Andree made her way out of her apartment and out into the green painted hallway. As the elevator slowly moved down the floors to ground level, Andree checked her pockets to make sure she had remembered her money. The lights on the buttons flashed as the floors counted away. Finally, it reached the ground floor. She walked out of it and through the lobby, which was also painted green. As she made her way through the concrete jungle, she ran a hand through her brown and blonde hair. At the end of the street was the bookstore that was her destination. Cars honked and fumes were released from the exhaust pipes on them. The smell reeked to her with her heightened senses. Luckily she was able to toggle them off so that the smell didn't bother her as much. As she opened the glass door into the shop, the little bell rung to let the cashier know that someone had entered or left. There were a fair amount of wooden book shelves dividing the place into aisles. Striding along the red carpet, she eventually got to the section she was looking for, Crime fiction. Eventually she settled on a book resting towards the end of the shelf. She made her way over to the counter to buy the book. After handing the cashier her money and receiving a bag for her book she said to the cashier "Thank you." as she made her way over to the door.

As her hand rested on the door knob so that she could leave the store, Andree heard a familiar voice behind her. She had not heard it in months. Not since one night when she had gone out to do her usual nightly activities. Nathaniel. Her feet had stopped moving out the door when he had called out to her. Damn, he may notice the fact that I stopped at that name. Quickly, make something up. As Nathaniel turned her around, she asked him "Me? were you talking to me? Because I don't know anyone named Birdy. What's your name?" She hoped that he would believe her. But that was unlikely, he had heard her voice all those months ago. Would he remember it though? She hoped not but at the same time, there was a small part of her wanting him to remember. Her tongue moistened her lips as she stood, waiting for his reply.

Andree felt a twinge of guilt. It was obvious he was disappointed that she had denied it so she decided to drop him a little hint. It wasn't her brain thinking but the hormones overriding once again. "Even if I was, would I tell you that I was?" Listening to him continue, she asked him a second question "What happened that night?" As he walked out the door, she dropped a third and final question "Really? What are the odds?" Why am I doing this again? She asked herself before following him out the door. Because you're too damn nice. She answered to herself as she caught up to him outside. Even if he didn't catch on yet, she thought that she would get to know him a little better out of her costume. "My name's Andree, what's yours?" She asked him after catching up behind him, tucking a bit of hair behind her ear as she spoke.

"That's going to kill you one day, Na-Xavier." Andree said to him, referring to his smoking. How do you screw that up? Really? Honestly? Hopefully he didn't notice. Oh, who am I kidding he probably did. Though, he may have figured it out already. Has he? If only I could read minds, it would make life so much easier. She thought to herself as the two walked down the street. "I've been coming here since i moved here so a few months now." Her eyes would look up at him for a few seconds but every time he would look back at her, she would pull her eyes away. God, that smoke is annoying. Andree thought to herself as she toggled off her heightened sense of smell. Second hand smoke is just as bad as smoking the dang thing yourself. "How about you? I didn't see you buying anything in there, what were you there for? She asked him, genuinely curious. Gambling perhaps? Didn't he say he did a lot of that? As they walked down the street, she picked up her stride slightly to stay next to him instead of behind him or in front of him. "So, where are you going?"

"Thank you." Andree smiled awkwardly for a quick second as she said this as a response to him putting out his cigarette. "Would the wind be taking you up to my apartment?" Andree asked quickly before she saw his wings break through his shirt. Good, they healed from the bullet wound. Was the thought that passed through her head before a more relevant one You idiot! People are around you, smart stuff. She felt his arms wrap around her waist as she thought this. "Oh!" Was the short, surprised sound that escaped her mouth as he took off with her in hand. Tucking her head into his chest, she asked him "Do you do this to everyone you meet?" Her hands were overlapping his on her waist. It was an exhilarating feeling being in the air. Flying without the need for a machine to do it for you. She wondered what it would be like to have wings like he did. Well, it certainly makes getting around a lot faster.

Oh, so he did pick up on it. Not like it was very hard. Andree thought to herself as Nathaniel pointed out that it was only the second time that he had flown her. Her cheeks blushed red and a small smile crossed her lips as he said he only flew people he liked. Oh god, don't make me choose please. She thought to herself after he asked her about either going onto the roof of her apartment building or to a restaurant. She hated making decisions that applied to people besides her. "We can do whatever you want, it's your decision." She said to him. It was better than spending 10 minutes thinking about it before finally making a decision. "Did I throw you off for a bit at least?" She asked him regarding whether or not she had confused him about the two of them meeting before.

After the two of them touched down on the rooftop, Andree waited to hear what Nathaniel had to say in reply. "I smell like you? Yeah, I thought the voice may be a give away." She asked him, smiling slightly before she head his next question. "Yeah, this is my building. I think I have one dress sitting around somewhere. I'll run down and see, you can come in if you want." She answered before going over to the roof access and heading downstairs. After going down a few floors, she arrived at her apartment. She inserted the key into the lock to open the door and went inside. She left it unlocked in case Nathaniel came in and ran over to her bedroom. After going through her closet, she found a black dress that went down to her knees. She closed the door to her room and slipped out of her tank top and jeans before getting into the black dress. After going back out to find Nathaniel, she asked him "Does it look okay?"

As Nathaniel replied to Andree's question, a large smile crossed her face. "Really?" It felt nice to hear him compliment her like that. Seeing that he had his hand out, she placed her hand in his. She wasn't expecting to be twirled around but didn't mind it either. She grinned some more as he pulled her closer to him. This was a nice change of pace from what she usually did. Is this a date? Should I ask him if it is or should I just go with it? I'll just go with it I guess, see what happens. "Oh!" she exclaimed, startled once more when Nathaniel picked her up bridal style. After the two of them made it to the roof and Nathaniel took off to the sky once more. "Are we going to the same house as last time?" She asked him, assuming that was where they were heading.
