Andree listened as Nathaniel made the call, her eyes stared up into his own. Even though he wasn't looking into hers, her eyes were getting lost in his. She wasn't usually like this, no, she usually was much more in control. But, she didn't really mind now. Her mind was practically mush right now anyways. Her mind, which usually drove her, had taken the back seat to her heart.
Her heart melted a bit more as he returned her gaze once he had finished his phone call. The lock that seemed to hold her eyes to his shattered as Gracie came out. Her eyes rolled over to look at Gracie in her dress. She was gorgeous. Absolutely stunning in it. "You look great, Grace." Andree told her with a smile.

Re: Didn't think I'd see you here (closed to unrealistic.entity)
Chelle reached the apartment and knocked on the door. She had Nathaniel's outfit in a suit bag and shoes in the other hand. She had the bag over her shoulder while her knuckles rapped against the door in a cute little pattern. "Hello~?" she called, curious as to why she had been waiting to be greeted.
***
Nathaniel turned his attention from Andree just long enough to admire Gracie. "You've got a catch, Sachin. Never let her go." He bumped his elbow into the side of Sachin's arm and then smiled toward Andree. The door was then knocked on. He looked about and then stepped over to it and was about to peek through the spy-hole before he heard her voice. "Everyone, please be yourselves." He then opened the door and smiled. "Sister," he said, taking his shoes and suit-bag from her to ease up the load in her arms. "Si prega di comportarti bene, Chelle." (Italian: Please behave yourself, Chelle.) He then ducked away into Andree's room and closed the door, turning the lock to dress himself.
***
Chelle smiled and took up the doorway, immediately passing Nathaniel his clothes so he could go get dressed. "Lo farò, non preoccupatevi." (Italian: I will, don't worry.) She examined the apartment. It was clean, and very homey. She liked it. She then just cooed and clapped her hands together, bouncing lightly. "Oh my goodness, Andree. You look so gorgeous. And you must be Gracie. A fiery little fox, aren't we? And, Sachin; you clean up well, but I bet you pull this off all the time. Pleasure to meet you all. I hope Nathaniel's pulled together a nice reservation. One moment," she said, her phone ringing. It wasn't her personal phone. It was a disposable phone she used for 'business.' She stepped toward the kitchen and sat down her clutch bag, it slightly open. "What do you want? I'm in the middle of something, something more important. It's my day off. I put it on the calendar." She was speaking low, in a hushed harsh whisper to none other than Nightkill. It was odd having him call of all the times. He must be drunk, or bored, or just in need of Chelle's handy work. Or perhaps he's fucking with her. She hadn't an idea, but she finished up the conversation quickly and then placed the phone on the counter and searched through the drawers for a hammer or meat tenderizer. She found the meat 'pounder' and slammed it against the disposable phone until it was little bitty pieces. She then swept the pieces into the garbage. "Sorry about that. Work is a bother from time to time." Her attention turned when Nathaniel came from Andree's room.
***
He was straightening his tie as he stepped out in a midnight blue suit that looked black until the light hit it. His sister was just about as smart as himself when it came to fashion. His Prada shoes fit comfortably and gave him mobility as well as a stylish way of doing so. He shrugged into his coat jacket and smiled. "Well, now that we're all looking fantastic, how about a picture?" He pulled out his phone and sat it on the kitchen counter and leaned it against the salt and pepper shakers. He had the timer on and beckoned everyone around of him. "Smile!" He said, and did so, hugging Andree into his side, his sister on the other. Then Gracie on Andree's right and Sachin on Gracie's right. So, in order it was: Sachin, Gracie, Andree, Nate, and Chelle. They were all looking like models, especially in their fancy clothes. He chuckled and grabbed his phone before stepping toward the door. "Let's go get some food. I'm actually hungry." He took Andree's hand in his and lead the pack down to the limo that Chelle had arrived in. "Nice choice of car, Sea-Chell." He said, smirking while giving out her nickname to his newly acquired friends, and most lovely girlfriend.

Sachin whistled when Chelle came through the door. "Nice sister you have there, Nate." he chuckled before squeezing Gracie's hand to let her know he wasn't totally serious. "Doesn't compare to you at all." he whispered in her ear in their private language. "You'd look great in anything, but you look divine in this.". He stood around when the picture was taken, looking largely the most plain of everyone there. He was wearing normal clothes with just a tie over it, with his long hair still messed up and dirty.
He raised an eyebrow when Chelle got a phone call, but he didn't ask about it. He did laugh a bit when Nate called his sister 'Sea-Chelle', but didn't repeat the nickname, a bit too polite to do that with someone who was a total stranger and also the sibling of someone who was, when you got down to it, a total stranger as well. "Well, where should we eat?" Sachin asked. "Why not here? Gracie is the best cook in the world."

Gracie smiled and leaned into Sachin, pressing her lips to his neck and closing her eyes. The way she fitted against him and moved to accommodate his movements was just a sign of how close the pair of them were. She looked up when Chelle came in however and stood up a little straighter, her body a little tenser. She didn't like lots of people knowing about their flat location and it just made her fidgety, she wanted them out and somewhere else. So naturally when Sachin mentioned her cooking she pulled a face. Being dolled up then cooking? Nu-uh. She teasingly pinched her boyfriends arm, not to hard but hard enough, then pouted.
"I cooked you breakfast, the Gracie kitchen has closed," she rolled her eyes then glanced back to Chelle. "He mentioned a booking he'd made. By a window," she smiled slightly then gently pushed Sachin towards the bedroom. "I laid you out something, go on," she teased then leaned against the side of the kitchen, waiting for the men.

Re: Didn't think I'd see you here (closed to unrealistic.entity)
As long as I'm not feeling like a piece of meat again. Andree thought to herself, shuddering when she remembered how their last meeting had made her feel. The compliment that Chelle sent in her direction relaxed her only slightly. She wasn't too fond of the idea of a vampire giving her a compliment. Well, she was fine when Nathaniel did it but, from what he had told her, they had different tendencies in drinking blood. As the train of thought wrapped up, she noticed that Nate had gone into her room to get changed.
Andree waited for Chelle to wrap up on the phone, only to look at her with surprise as she smashed the device with a meat pounder. "Yeah, no problem." She said awkwardly. Her own line of work didn't usually get in the way but she was self employed and, unlike Chelle it seemed, didn't have to answer to anyone but herself. Her attention turned when Nate stepped out of her room. Her eyes admired him in his suit as he came over and took a picture of the 5 of them. It was the fact that Nate was pulling her in that made her melt further, if that was even possible at this point. Andree then chuckled at Gracie's joke about her kitchen being closed.
She allowed Nate to take her hand and lead her, and the others, down to the car. The nickname that he gave Chelle was one she would remember to call her next time she saw her.

Re: Didn't think I'd see you here (closed to unrealistic.entity)
Chelle was let into the car by the driver, whom had stepped out of his side of the car to rush around and open the door for the others. Chelle smiled kindly toward the driver and gave him a little wink. She then stepped into the car, ducking slightly, to make her way onto the wrapping leather couch in the back of the sleek, black limo. The midnight inky black leather looked great, along with the soft carpet flooring. Chelle relaxed for a moment, and waited for everyone to get into the limo. Once seated, she directed the driver to head to the appropriate destination. "Ah, what better way to celebrate friendship than a bottle of champagne?" she said, presenting already half full glasses of bubbly. She offered the drink out, a smile still on her face. To prove it was worth drinking, she took the first sip and then rose her glass. "A toast, to new found companionship, and maybe on day.. love." She gave a genuine smile to her newer friends, and brother. She then clinked her glass with other's. And relaxed, sharing small talk just before they arrived at the restaurant.
***
Nathaniel escorted Andree into the limo and sat down next to his sister, with Andree on his right. He smiled and placed an arm around of her and gave her a gentle squeeze. He then dipped and kissed her cheek before acting as if he hadn't even done anything. He gave smiles to everyone and tapped his foot on the floor lightly. Noticing the Champagne, he accepted a glass and brought it up to toast with his sister, adding on to it. "To family, and never ending happiness." Clinking his glass with everyone else's was a delight, and he smiled just before taking a nice sip of the bubbly. He finished his champagne quickly and sat the glass on the tray by leaning over his sister. He then enjoyed the bits of small talk by staying mainly quiet. He had moved his arm from around of Andree and slipped it down to take her hand in his. He wasn't young, but he knew that holding a girl's hand was something they enjoyed a lot. Noticing the car stop, he was happy. His stomach was even more happy. He wanted lobster tail and steak with a baked potato and all the fixings. He was hungry. He also wanted a soda; preferably Coca Cola. "Well, here we are."
*** (Doing this as a basic mix between Chelle and Nate)
The siblings exited the limo, and walked along the path toward the restaurant. Their driver would be back once the meal was over, and that would be possibly an hour. A waiter came to them and escorted the party of five to a main floor table in the corner of the room so that they could see everything. This was mainly Chelle's request so that she could see if anything fishy would stir up. Hopefully no old enemies would show up. Nate just wanted food. He was hungry, and he wanted to spend time with his sister, as well as his new found friends. He sat himself down next to his sister, and Andree. The six seated table had the sixth place mate cleared so that the five chairs could spread out a bit more around the table, giving a tiny bit more room. The siblings were polite, and had very good manners. Nathaniel pulled out both Chelle and Andree's chairs, helping them sit down. He then sat himself between them and went ahead and ordered a breadstick basket and two large shrimp appetizer's, as well as a mozzarella stick appetizer. "I believe that's all for now." he said, after the waiter took any other appetizer order, and drink order. Chelle was fine with the appetizer's picked, and also ordered a bottle of their finest red wine.

Re: Didn't think I'd see you here (closed to unrealistic.entity)
Sachin skipped the shrimp appetizers, going for the breadsticks hungrily, but politely. It's generally how Indians ate- very quickly but methodically following table manners. It was largely because Indians wanted to get the hell away from the dinner table so they could get back to work, but didn't want to be lectured on being messy eaters and being punished that way. So the desi culture had effectively created this fast polite eating style. Andree and Gracie had adapted to Sachin descending down at the dinner table like a polite locust before leaving to do work again. Chelle and Andree would be unused to Sachin's quick and methodical destruction of the garlic breadsticks.
"The food is good." he said after three minutes, leaning back into his chair. He sat in the corner, Gracie to the right of him, leaning on his shoulder. "Good restaurant. We should come here more often."

The restraunt was a whole other kettle of fish from the ones Gracie was used to. The large, white walled building with carefully decorated tables and a waterfall - yes a waterfall - smack bang in the middle of it. The floor to ceiling windows allowed a magnificent view onto the Windy City as the sun began to set, soaking it in a chilling blood red. Gracie's eyes roamed over the shadowed buildings which stood stark against the bright sky and rested her chin in her cupped hand. She had rejected the champaign earlier for the simple fact she didn't like the bubbly liquid and the way it burned down her throat. She had no idea why people grimaced and drunk it just because it was 'proper' but then Gracie was never one for 'proper'. Despite the calm and sleepy appearance of the place Gracie had come to call home, the couldn't help but sit on the edge of her seat and assess all escape routes in the restraunt rather casually, almost like one would scout for the toilet. Her lips lifted into a cat like smile when the waiter arrived and allowed the brother and sister to take control of the food ordering.
Food which was nearly gone thanks to Sachin. She nudged him gently with her elbow and motioned for him to slow down a little - he had no work to do tonight. Well, none that couldn't wait until tomorrow. Unfortunately Sachin insisted on working continuously unless Gracie persuaded him otherwise. She did smile at his comment however - like hell Sachin would pay to come here more often. She delicately picked up a 'shrimp' (PRAWN), cracked it's tail off and dipped it slowly in the provided sauce. Gracie's style was an utter contrast to Sachin's - she preferred to eat slow and lots of it. It was usually burnt off and more during the day so she had to keep toped up on food at all times.
"So tell us a bit about yourselves," she looked up at Nate and Chelle. "After all, it looks our little Birdie is rather smitten, which I'm assuming means we'll be seeing more of you," she smiled.

Re: Didn't think I'd see you here (closed to unrealistic.entity)
Andree slipped into the car, behind Nate, and sat on the smooth leather next to Nathaniel. A small smile had found a home on her lips. Her body visibly relaxed when Nathaniel slipped his arm around her and gave a gently, but firm, squeeze. The formerly light blush grew more apparent when Nate kissed her on the cheek. When Chelle offered champagne, she raised her hand as a silent gesture for no. "No thank you, I don't drink." She told Chelle, politely and with a still present small smile. The smile grew wider slightly when she felt Nate take her hand.
The limo arrived at the restaurant a few minutes later. Once inside the gorgeous restaurant, Andree was fine allowing Nate and Chelle to take over ordering the food. Eventually, the drinks and appetizers came by. Andree smiled as the waiter placed a glass of 7Up in front of her. She took a sip of the drink before returning it to it's place on the table. Her hand reached over and picked up a bread stick, which she nibbled on slowly. A small smile crossed her face once more as Sachin mentioned coming here more often. So, you plan on selling the apartment and coming her a lot instead. Great choice. She thought, sarcastically. At Gracie's comment about her being smitten however, she felt like giving her a gentle kick under the table. She didn't though, deeming that it would be a bad time for it. Instead, she gazed down at the floor, poorly attempting to avoid any extra attention.

Chelle
Chelle smiled and looked at her brother. At one point in their lives, she had hated him, and at the mention of "So, tell us about yourselves," she couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. "Well. I'm old. Older than you could imagine. I've seen a lot, and I've been through a lot. I've done the whole make good and bad decisions. Ultimately, though, I work for myself. I may loan out my expertise, but I am never willing to completely call someone "boss." Considering, I'm my own boss," she said, pausing to take a sip of the water she was given, along with a bottle of wine for mainly herself. She rolled her shoulders lightly, moving her hands into her laps. She sighed and then looked back toward everyone's faces, lingering on Sachin, Gracie, and Andree the longest. "I'm an Angelic Vampire," she said, with a calm face and smooth voice. "So is Nathaniel. We're slightly dangerous to be around. But, we have good intentions. At least, I try to have them. I'm sure Nate beats himself up when he makes one little bad mistake." She let the volume of her voice slowly die out while her eyes fluttered toward her lap. She figured, why not? Why not just let them know about her and Nathaniel's race?
***
Nathaniel
He sat, munching lightly on the appetizer's presented. The prawns were especially delicious. Glancing to Gracie, he gave her a funny look like 'how would we even explain that?' He then glanced toward his older sister and gave her the same look. He was a bit upset that she ignored the look and just started spilling things about her life. They may have been vague, but people can string thoughts and ideas together. His heart started palpitating and he felt a bit of sweat curl over his brow at the blunt words that came from his sister's mouth next. He wanted to slam his fists down onto the table, but chose against it. Instead, he wrung his cloth napkin up underneath the edge of the table and closed his eyes in anger. How could she? After a moment to process the words his sister spoke, he gave it his shot. "It's not so bad. Our lives are nothing unalike compared yours. We've just been around longer, I suppose. And sure we have.. cravings. But it's no different than a pregnant woman with the desire for raw meat. Our.. cravings," he said, taking a sip of Coca Cola he had ordered. He then continued. "I doubt any of you are enjoying this.. but we subside our cravings with 'dead' blood. So, if you wish to leave, Andree. I can understand." He said this while reaching for her hand. He did not take it, however. He wanted her to complete the bond. He wasn't going to force his hand upon her.

"An angel vampire?" Sachin asked, sounding shocked and amazed. "Dude....that's fucking awesome. Scary and stuff, but awesome and badass. Just don't go Twilight on us, but don't go Dracula either. That would probably suck- hey, would you guys be willing to answer some questions and shit later? One of my characters in my comic is a vampire but I don't think I'm writing him properly and-" he paused, realising that his Indian accent was coming out. "But you know, if you guys want to and stuff." he said, slowing down and going back to eating his food. He seemed relatively unconcerned that he was talking to a vampire. His life was so bizarre that nothing really surprised him anymore. As long as Chelle and Nate didn't hurt anyone, he had no quarrel with them.

Re: Didn't think I'd see you here (closed to unrealistic.entity)
Gracie's body tensed slightly at the sudden admittance to what they were. She had guessed the angel part considering she'd seen Nate's wings and angels she could deal with - she was a Catholic after all. But the vampire bit unnerved her. Gracie was a typical nerd and thus she read - extensively. She had read Dracula and old records during her vampire geek out session after seeing a film. Vampires were terrifying blood thirsty creatures who if they smelt blood could pounce. Her mind began to race with exactly how she could defend herself if something bad happened. Not kill him... maybe. Andree would be upset if she staked her boyfriend. Crossbows were on the list of weapons to get now, as well as a new gun. Her eyes flicked to Andree to gauge her reaction to the news. She wondered if she'd actually believe them at all. Sachin seemed to be nerding out in a better way than her calculating calmness.
She did roll her eyes at Sachin's gush though which eased her tension and led to a half smile.
"You should read his comics, they're marvellous ..." she mused and picked up another prawn and began to nibble at it.

As Chelle told the group about herself, Andree listened as she stared at the ground. Her eyes darted up to notice the glass of water that had been placed in front of her at this point. Reaching to the glass, she took a sip of the clear liquid. The conversation wasn't too interesting and therefore only required a limited amount of her attention.
But, the conversation became slightly more awkward and interesting when Chelle brought up that she and Nate were angelic vampires. It wasn't awkward for her, Nate had already told her, but she was worried more so that Gracie would not approve. Not that she sought out her approval but it would make things easier if he came up to the apartment again. Her eyes wandered to Nathaniel to see his reaction to Chelle spilling all this information. She could see that it bothered him from the way he had his eyes shut tightly in anger. She hoped that he realized it didn't matter to her.
To Nate's addition to the conversation she smiled slightly to mask her thoughts at the moment. Blood, disgusting. I would never survive as a vampire. But, to his last words, she had a real reply. Her arm reached out and connected with his as she said to him. "I don't care what you are, I care who you are. And who you are is a good person."

Chelle
She smiled. An actual, genuine smile. Sachin's reaction was very much delightful. Her eyes lit up and she nodded. "I would love to help you out. But I'm sure Nate is much more qualified. As you see; I'm his older, not-so-cool sister." Her eyes rolled, but not in a rude way, trying to make light of the situation that was possibly more awkward than walking in on two strangers have sex in YOUR bed. Her eyes flicked from Sachin to Gracie. The expression on the woman's face had been on so many other people's faces at the news of Chelle's race. She frowned slightly, but masked it with her wine glass tipped to her lips. Taking a generous sip, she then placed the glass back down and nodded, looking toward Gracie, then to Sachin yet again. "I'd like a signed copy of each edition. I'll pay you the amount you desire for such a thing, Sachin." She liked collecting things. Especially things that told a story about a memory.
Nate
Sachin's reaction made him ease up a bit, but the look on Gracie's face made him die a little inside. He hated disappointing people. He frowned inwardly, his face staying blank before speaking toward Sachin. "I would much enjoy helping you with your graphic novels, Sachin. It'd be a delighted experience." Sachin could also help him talk a bit more smoothly and with a more modern set of words. Nathaniel was quite good at keeping up with the Joneses, or however you'd describe it. Looking up, he saw a slightly familiar face enter the restaurant. And behind of that face was a few others. 'Crap..' is how he was feeling and thinking at the moment. He allowed his hand to squeeze Andree's. "Thank you. But, not to interrupt; we have to leave. Now." He had no idea how they found him; they must have spotted him exiting his car. They also like this restaurant. Nathaniel found out about it from them, to be honest. He ran a hand through his hair and stood up calmly. "Sis; I hope you're ready for a bit of tag team." "Are you kidding me? In this dress? Why the hell not."

Sachin grinned. "Bloody spectacular then. Can't wait to make that issue. I was having some writer's block for a while anyway, so this will be good. Maybe help get some new people into my audience. That's been lagging a bit too, I sometimes get emails asking if I'm dead or not. Worst decision I ever made was allow Gracie to answer a few. But now those fans know very well that I am not dead in the slightest." he said, reflecting on that. Gracie's flaming would probably get her banned from most online forums.
But the vampires seemed nice enough. Even if Gracie was cautious, Sachin was more accepting. Andree liked Nate too. So he knew that Gracie would come around pretty quickly.
He suddenly noted how Nate was suddenly becoming tense. "What's wrong?" he asked, glancing around for whatever the vampire was looking for.

Gracie was content to let the conversation drift away from the real world and towards the comic book one, of which she had near to little interest. It was only when people emailed Sachin death threats or queries on if he was dead or not and if that was the reason for his lack of publications. It had been right after Brazil when Sachin had been in almost tears at one comment that she had finally stepped in. The guy had backed down rather quickly and as far as she knew the guy hadn't contacted him since.
"I don't appreciate people threatening my boyfriend," she looked up to the rest of the table through her thick black eyelashes. It was understandable, did anyone really want the love of their life to be upset or hurt? She looked to Sachin then when he turned round, having snatched up Nate's comment about leaving.
"Sachin don't stare, you'll give us away," she smiled rather fondly at him and slid her hand into his. Seeing as though he was not looking towards the door, Gracie tried to cover up his movement by leaning close to him and pointing out a painting on the wall. "Just pretend to admire the painting even if it is not as good as yours," she mused. Out of the corner of her eye she could see the guys ease off of their pocket and perhaps their weapons.
"Can you see in the dark?" she raised an eyebrow to the others at the table.
