The Assault (NO VACANCY)

BlackOut was flying swiftly toward the stone pillar that was now descending toward the ground. As he drew closer a cluster of stone skewers burst from the ground and were soaring right toward him. Bracing for impact Black tightened his muscles, but the stakes flew past him and killed the demons that were following him. Satisfied that he was in fact unharmed Black began to descend finally making it to where the pillar had sunk back into the ground.

Landing next to what he assumed to be an ally Blackout turned to the superhuman "So do I have you or the big guy over here to thank for the assist back there." he said gesturing to the towering rock creature who was pummeling demons left and right.

Katachi pumped his arm full of muscle as he flew at the incubus demon. He made poison spikes at the knuckles. He let loose a massive, powerful punch right at his face.

The incubus demon took many hits from multiple directions. The most damaging was from both obsidior and katachi. The incubus flinched a little and pushed himself up. He took his right arm and attempted to swat the heroes and villians away. making a shadow flame shockwave as he did, As he got up he stomped the ground in anger and roared so loudly, that nearby buildings collapsed. As he stomped the ground, the ground cratered in making everyone who was standing on the ground have an unstable footing. Dark energy followed the crater shockwave.

Keravnos almost fell directly into the craters in the ground. Even the buildings looked ready to fall on him. However before he fell he jumped back into the downed lamp post. He was traveling through electrical wires to find the source of the quakes. When the half-god found who was making the, he saw an angry incubus demon stomping. Finally he jumped out of the chords to see large dark energy coming at him. Easily, using his energy, he blocked the dark energy coming at him. He addressed the large demon striking, "Who are you?"

Dhiren was about to reply to the newcomer, but suddenly the ground beneath them shook and split. The mini quake made him stumble for just a moment, upon which he immediately mended the ground around him and the newcomer.

"Those stakes were my idea. So, I suppose you're fighting the demons too? It would be best if we worked together. I saw a light in the distance over tha...

Just then, the golem gave a rumbling growl. From its higher vantage point, it had seen the wave of darkness rolling toward them. Abandoning the fight with the demons, it curled up around Dhiren and BlackOut, attempting to protect them from the wave with its four massive arms.

Saberlight was alone. No one in site not even a demon. It seemed they had gone off to some were. Saberlight wondered the streets looking for any one. Hoping to find life of any kind...well maybe not any demons.
Knowing that there was alot of ground to cover Saberlight set off to find any one if they be alive or in need of help.

Afew miles down one of the dark streets Saberlight stumbled on to some demons festting on the fallen ones. Tearing flesh from the dead and laughing and munching on their demon brotheren. The site of such an act made him sick. Saberlight thought to him self, " These demons are no better than common vermin." and with that he projected his staff of light and charged into the unawary foes. The demons skriched in terror as one by one He slaughtered them as the staff sliced throught their bodies like a hot knife through butter, And as the last one fell to the ground Saberlight envegerated by His hate of these worthless creatures ran down the streets looking for anything.

Saberlight felt trmmors not to far off turned a cornerd and saw a gaint golem standing there covering something. Then at that very second the thought hit him WHY! and as he turned around he saw a massive wall of darkness crashing over the buildings like a wave from the ocean. He bearly was able to get a light sheild up as it crashed down upon them. Demons smashed into It as the darkness seemed to greaten their strenght and maddness.

Overmind reappeared above the demon, firing a concussive wave of psychic energy at him. If there hadn't been this many heroes, this surely would have turned out differently. As of now they overwhelmed him and soon would havehim defeated, lying in a pool of his own blackened blood.

Obsidior flew quickly at the injured enemy, and aided Overmind in an assault of powerful energy. A large beam of green energy slammed against the back of the demon.

After Katachi punched him, he backed off, now having blood on his knuckles, The blood dissipated into his body. He turned into a gruesome pile of flesh, Growing larger and stronger at the same time. He turned into the Incubus Demon but there could be recognizable signs that it was still katachi. He didn't want to be attacked by his temporary allies. For some reason he could not reach the full strength of the Incubus Demon, he just couldn't find out how to get that strong. So he decided he would not go 100% Incubus Demon but rather 50/50 between him and the demon.

As the wave of dark energy flowed past the golem's arms, Dhiren realized that it wouldn't be long before the golem would be out of energy. Dhiren would have to find a way to battle the horde of demons and make his way toward whatever that light was.

He would need a little more time to create enough golems to fight the demons. Ordering his original golem to continue to shelter him and conserve its energy, he began channeling his depleted power into the ground. He wouldn't be able to make a golem as strong as the first again, so instead he decided to make a golem more specialized for fighting these demons.

(So, am I to understand that Blackout has been kicked from this thread?)

The Incubus demon took more hits from multiple directions. Grunting, he tanked it out. He turned invisible and turned and bull charged not at the heroes but at the portal. Just as he did so a swarm of demons came out of the portal and charged into the heroes. The numbers were uncountable. They plowed into the heroes like a flood slamming into a house. The Incubus demon floated just above the portal healing and using his portal-trap to help him defend. The portal was actually the best defensible position here. His Trap would whittle them down.

With the dark energy gone the demons still seemed to be stronger.As Saberlight let down his sheild he looked up farther towards what seemed to him to be a large flaming pit which all the demons were now pouring out of, and just above it was a larger demon just floating there shouting something in some demonic tone. Saberlight new he had to be the ringleader to all of this. Saberlight looked over and the golem he saw before was still standing there covering something, but now the ground was plusing with energy were it stood. "What was it doing?" he thought to himself. It didn't matter now as now there was a second wave of demons chargeing down the street at them. Saberlight thought quickly and made a simi strong sheild around the golem. Saberlight thinking to himself "That should hold for a little untill big man does something." and as he turned around focused two light swords and began to fight off the demons as they charged down the street. The street now looked like a war movie as demons where blown up, dismembered and cut and crushed as the heros fought against the envading army of demons. SaberLight knew they all could not keep this up if some one didn't think of something quick, cause he had one idea, but it wouldn't matter unless he could get to the portal.

Keravnos, in sheer confusion, began to question what exactly was happening. Suddenly a swarm of demons shot from the portal. Keravnos saw his chance to kill many birds with one lightning strike. While they were still bunched together, Keravnos shot down a large lightning bolt on the whole crowd.
