The Assault (NO VACANCY)

Saberlight peered to his side and saw demons head poping like over cooked jiffy pop popcorn as brain matter and bits of bone and flesh rain down from where heads once were. It was like mars attack alien brain poping to loud wierd music kind of pop....as Saberlight driffs into one of his long summuries of how they poped......A demon that had not poped yet slames his fist against the shield and it snaps Saberlight back to the what realy going on. Saberlight refocuses the sheild to detonate and as the next demon goes to hit it a bright flash of light and all there was brunt chared demons, their flesh peeled from their bones and the demons that were not with in the blast look as if they have a horrid sunburn as the blisters the size of grapefruit started to apear on their bodies. Saberlight drops to his knees form useing so much energy. but as his eyes started to go blury he saw a man with blazing blue eyes holding a demons head in his hands off in the distance. he said something but it is to late Saberlight blacked out.

Dhiren saw the side wall of his trap shatter into dust and knew that whatever attacked him had escaped. In the dim light, he could only barely see the general direction it went in, but by the height and angle of the wall breaking, he could tell it was a flyer.

Dhiren's heart sank. He had a fundamental disadvantage against flyers, being completely ground-based with only limited height attacks. There was only one way for him to fight a flying opponent, and that was with a trap.

Getting closer to his golem for a bit more protection, he concentrated with all his might on the earth beneath him, searching for the hardest stones and minerals and forming them into his trap. Once he was ready, he set himself up as the bait by stepping away from his golem. Though it looked like he was completely absorbed in the battle, he was really listening with all of his might for the rushing sound that would come before a high-speed dive...

(Note: I kind of assumed that a large, fiery projectile would make some sort of sound when traveling through the air at high velocity. If this isn't true/ it needs to not be true, feel free to correct me or make it so the demon somehow flies silently.)

(I need to establish an order: Raide>Viva>Slam>Saber>Is ac cult>SCF. To prevent god modding and fairness for everyone else. SCF to answer your question, there is a lot of background noises. Making it hard to discern by sound. Can I bring in katachi back in now before its too late.?)

Raide saw the massive attack of Overmind and swooped at him in an attempt to stop him. He was now the biggest threat and was killing the most at one time.

As for Obsidior's attack, When the energy attack neared the portal, one of equal size and strength appeared out of the chaos, It was Obsidior's copy taking measures of protecting it. The two energy balls collided before it hit the portal, fizzling them both.

(Hah forgot about that? or is it nonmetagaming true roleplaying? I like that thoroughly.)

(Non-Metagaming)

"Damn." Obsidior said with a sigh, as he dropped his arms trying to figure out how to hit the portal. Obsidior held his hands out, shooting two different weak blasts at the portal, trying to figure out how the portal works. "There has to be a way to shut this thing off." Obsidior said to himself.

Overmind was ready for this. He threw the demon he had been holding at the incubus, the smaller hellion exploding shortly thereafter, and disappeared from view, erasing himself from the Incubus's ocular reception.

As demons poured into the streets and consumed and killed every one in there path. A demon spotted Saberlight on the ground. He began to slobber in joy of the thought of eating a superhuman, but as he got near a blast of energy peirced his head and it exploded. Saberlight, in pain from using so much energy without recharging, felt like he had a hang over from hell, and every muscle in his body screamed for rest but he knew he had to make it to cover.

Dhiren battled on, bringing down demons left and right. However, he was getting tired. He simply couldn't keep up the pace he was going. Having to concentrate on maintaining his trap, staying alert for any signs of the flying menace, and battling various demons, he was fast losing stamina.

Unable to take it anymore, he decided to look for some allies in the fight. Running the risk of being attacked from the air, Dhiren forced the ground he was standing on to rise above the battle like a pillar. From this position, he could barely make out some places where demons were clustering, as well as some flashes of light coming from somewhere about 25 yards ahead of him.

As he prepared to descend and fight his way to the flashes of light, he prepared his trap for an aerial ambush.

The demons swarmed viciously as toward BlackOut drawing to horde toward himself he hoped that he could lighten the load for the rest of his allies. Fighting ferociously to keep up with the pace of the battle, Black was blasting and smashing his way through the waves of abominations that were swarming the park.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw a pillar of earth rise out of the sea of demons with a lone figure standing atop. Turning his attention toward the sudden disturbance in the scenery he decided to check out what was going on. Black jumped up and took flight, looking back and shooting blasts of electricity back at the flying demons that now trailed him.

(Im gonna edit the last post concerning katachi killing lust. The only space time stuff involved will be that lust's corpse no longer exists. Sulfury, Keres is taking too long ignore it)

Amongst the smoke Katachi rematerialized. His clone had left the battlefield to merge with his original version. Making him stronger than before. He watched from afar about how the incubus demon turned invisible, he adapted a sonic vision style sight to see him. He appeared below the Incubus demon and with lusts whip which was now laced with a paint/poison coating, attempts to take him down by trying to wrap the whip around him and attempt to pull him down.

In a burst of lightning, a man descended down from the sky to aid the defense. A person who was half god and could control electricity himself, Keravnos came to help. Demons surrounded him from all sides as it was probably easier to recognize him. However as they all crowded on top of him, a sudden charge of blue light repulsed them away from him. Then Keravnos began to smack demons from him with his great strength, and electrocute them with lightning from the sky. New York was such a huge battle field and was much different than he had remembered. Through a downed power line, Keravnos used electrical transportation to find others who were fighting.

Raide continued to charge at Overmind, even when he was blinded by the explosion. His forward momentum continued to fly into Overmind's path, but then almost right on cue, Katachi's whip caught around his midsection and changed his forward trajectory into one that would head straight into the ground. The incubus demon got up grabbing Katachi's whip and pulling it making katachi fly at him. The demon then made an attempt to punch Katachi.

Overmind grabbed the demon's arm blade ripped it backwards, completely ruining his arm's trajectory.

Obsidior's eyes shifted from the portal to the Incubus demon, he saw an opportunity that he couldn't pass up. "Let's hope this is the last this finishes you off." Obsidior said as he aimed his arms at the demon's back, firing a fast burning blast at the monster.

From a downed light post, Keravnos materialized next to Overmind and Obsidior. He had no idea who those two were, but he was helping them fight the demons. Using his electrical abilities, he started strike down as many close to him. Keravnos then conjured up a huge electrical storm by charging his fists and saying, "Taste my father's lightning."

Out of the corner of his eye, Dhiren saw something flying toward him. Turning his full attention to the newcomer, he nearly released his trap on him. Upon seeing that he was shooting lightning bolts at the demons, however, he decided to crush the flyers he knew were demons and deal with the electric man when he arrived. Besides, his trap was taking up too much of his energy to maintain.

With a mighty heave, Dhiren caused a dozen stone stakes to burst from the ground and fly toward the demons. Dhiren was careful to miss his possible ally. Allowing the stakes to sail on their own after throwing them, Dhiren continued his descent. His golem was still managing to keep the demons off of him with wild flailing, but it was also beginning to tire and lose power. Very soon, Dhiren would need another golem or a different strategy.

BlackOut was flying swiftly toward the stone pillar that was now descending toward the ground. As he drew closer a cluster of stone skewers burst from the ground and were soaring right toward him. Bracing for impact Black tightened his muscles, but the stakes flew past him and killed the demons that were following him. Satisfied that he was in fact unharmed Black began to descend finally making it to where the pillar had sunk back into the ground.

Landing next to what he assumed to be an ally Blackout turned to the superhuman "So do I have you or the big guy over here to thank for the assist back there." he said gesturing to the towering rock creature who was pummeling demons left and right.
