Stepping into the spotlight

As the grappling hook hit the ground it unlatched, giving the Black Knight no ground to hold onto, he had removed them with his powers. Ferrum dodged to the side of the Black Knight's attack and when he was at his side he fired another cosmic beam at the Black Knight's side. Ferrum then rose from the ground as he began to float as he pulled in random metallic items flying at the Black Knight.

Wilbert's left side was exposed to Ferrum's attack, but at the last second he activated the deploy-able shield on his left wrist, a some what thick and long black shield suddenly forming and appearing just in time to block the energy blast Ferrum had fired. The shield wrapped around his forearm, the length of it stretching over his entire forearm, the width of it doubling the size of his upper arms. The Shield was tough as nails, crafted and designed by Wilbert to withstand extreme physical and energy punishment, practically unbreakable to most and harder than the toughest metals. At point blank range, the sheer power of one of Ferrum's blast was enough to send the Dark Knight skidding back a few feet. His feet planted into the ground to help slow him down, dust picking up as he skidded to a halt.

Wilbert then looked up to Ferrum as he lifted off of the ground, throwing metallic objects towards him, crap, he had to move fast! Wilbert side-stepped the first metallic object, the second one hurling towards him quickly, Wilbert bending his body back to let it just barely fly over him. He dipped in and out of the many metallic objects, like a skilled gymnast he dashed around avoiding the objects thrown, suddenly a car being mixed in with it, hurling towards him quickly, the metal flipping wildly through the air. In front of the car was another chunk of metal, it looked to be a street light. Wilbert jumped up onto the street light as it came towards him, skillfully running up it and front flipping off of it, onto the car that was flying through the air behind it. He ran along the car and leaped off the edge of it, getting some height and distance from that leap, plus the car was already in the air, giving him all the height he needed to make another attack on Ferrum.

The distance between them was a bit wide, to large to make a physical attack and hope to hit him in time, he was just too fast and his powers focused on range, he needed to find a way around that. Fight fire with fire, it was all he could do at this very point in time. He cocked his left arm back then flung it forward with all his might, tossing the shield that was on his arm towards Ferrum, it quickly spiraled towards him, ripping through the air at an unreal speed, as if it were designed to be aerodynamic.

((Since Wilbert's Intel is 5, his gadgets have the ability to be as strong as something level 5 ish. So I have a shield with the durability of 5, it looks different and has a different shape than Captain America's, but it's the same general idea. It's also not made of metal, so you cannot control, it's made of some super powered lightweight rare awesome materials, it also has a bunch of cool nifty little things it can do. Idfk, just so you can't rape one of my main items/weapons. I'll make all the item apps for it later, but just so you know, I am not pulling this out of my ass, I've been planning on giving a shield to Darkie for awhile now. Ferrum just happened to be the guy he tested it out on, since Ferrum is a very very deadly opponent, I figured he'd need it to go against him.))

Renegade getting absolutely pissed of now that there are so many distractions. He unwielded Death Blade. Renegade had it out spinning it around and almost instantly the entire blade burst into flames. Renegade swung his sword at the Hall and multiple giant waves of fire was sent hurling. and then he also did the same thing to The Black Knight. As soon as he sent the fire blast at the hero, Renegade ran right behind the fire blast. That way he can make his final blow with his blade. after he is already hurt by the blast

The shield connected with Ferrum's cheek, his hard metal helmet blocking almost all of the damage, his armor had paid off again. Ferrum grunted but not before holding his hand and firing another cosmic beam at point blank range, right at Wilbert's stomach. Ferrum moved at lightning speed the cosmic blast still firing but Ferrum was no longer there he was behind Wilbert, with no power source the beam ended but still fired at Wilbert. Ferrum swung his leg at the back of Wilbert's head just above his cosmic beam so that if Wilbert dodged which was highly likely he wouldn't be hit by his own attack.

Ghost popped out of no where send his leg into Renegades side as he launched towards the black Knight... as his leg connected. He disappeared and appearec on the other side sending his heavy fist towards the man cheek. He made no noise, could barely be seen Ghost was merciless, swifter than no other. "Give it up....there no way youll win." he said lowly in his young voice as his face couldnt be seen hidden behind the black and crimson cloak he wore.

Renegade flew back into a nearby fence and got up. City Hall which is still a giant pile of rock, debris, and torched people. Renegade made his way to the scene and made his way to the top. Renegade decided to take advantage of all the fire that was still on the floor. He began to create a vortex of pure fire. the more energy he put into the vortex the bigger it became. He than launched it at the black Knight. and then took his fighting stance.

Wilbert fell from the sky, from where he had thrown the shield, landing on one knee and rolling out of the way of the first couple of fire blasts Renegade had thrown, rolling from the left to the right, literally throwing himself out of the way of the large blasts, his skills in martial arts and acrobatics truly paying off here. Suddenly his shield came back to him like a boomerang, and not far behind it was a cosmic blast sent by Ferrum. Wilbert had given himself a bit of distance from Ferrum, so he had just enough time to catch his shield and throwing it up to block his blast.

Wilbert had lost sight of Ferrum, not good, and out of the corner of his eye he noticed a newcomer battling Renegade. Good, he may not know him, but if he's fighting Renegade, then he's an ally of the Black Knight's, well at least for now. Not good that he had lost sight of Ferrum though, his left hand holding up his shield which the blast pummeled into, and not even a second later the man himself appeared behind Wilbert, his eyes widened as a chill ran up his spine, a bead of sweat dripping from his forehead. This man's speed was unreal, he's even faster than he had imagined, the data he had on Ferrum was close to correct, but it left out just how powerful this guy really was. This was going to be very difficult, but he would not lose, he couldn't! He had to protect this city...

Wilbert barely managed to get his right hand up in time to catch Ferrum's kick, blocking his blast from the left and catching the kick on the right with in literally seconds apart. Wilbert himself found it hard to believe he just pulled that off, he was a damn good fighter, he may not be as fast, but he knew what he was doing, hopefully that would be enough.
"You're powerful indeed Ferrum, what they say about you is true. I promise, this will be the most difficult fight you've had in years. You will not have this city, not as long as I'm still breathing." He said boldly to Ferrum, his head turning to face him, staring him down eye to eye, a clash of the titans, this fight would be epic.

Ferrum smiled, "Good, I have been real bored lately" Ferrum said with a grin as he stared down Wilbert, he pulled his foot away and softly landed on the ground. Ferrum lifted his left hand which was glowing silver energy, he smirked and shot a blast in the air. "Begin" he grinned as he began to float in the air before the Black Knight.

Not having this new foe insight Renegade decided to help out Ferrum in the mean time. Renegade ran over to where Ferrum was floating. and unwielded his sword. " I heard you needed some back up?" Renegade then took his fighting position.

Wilbert's expression fierce as he stared down Ferrum and now his friend standing beneath him, Renegade, his eyes darting back and forth between the villains, watching them both carefully before he made his next move. "You'll need all the help you can get..." He said boldly as he stood before the two of them, his shield forward, his right fist behind it. His right hand moved to grab a few explosives from his utility belt, throwing them all at Ferrum and Renegade, jumping backwards as he did so to give some distance between him and the villains, using the smoke from the explosions as a distraction.

While jumping back his left arm was thrown outwards again, releasing the shield from his grip and violently tossing it towards Renegade first, whether it would hit or not, it's next target would be Ferrum, then the shield would return to it's master. Propelled by his strength, the shield ripped through the air at unreal speeds, quickly hurling towards the chest of Renegade.

Renegade with one swing with his blade knocked the shield from close proximity to his body. smoke and all Renegade charged through the smoke with blurry vision. He created a fire ball in his palm and got prepared to fight due to the fact that he couldnt fight his opponent.

As the smoke cleared slowly it revealed Ferrum wrapped in twisted metal, and a grin on his face, within a second, once the shield was away from Ferrum, he shot all of the metal at the Black Knight. "I think it is you who needs the help" he said with a grin as he floated higher his eyes glowing silver as more cars lifted from the street and flew at the Black Knight. This new guy would make a fine edition to the group Ferrum thought as he smirked.

While renegades vision was Blurry Ghost appeared above him and grabbed him by his head pulling him away from The Black Knight and sending him flying towards a brick wall where Ghost shot a quick hidden towards the mans shoulder which would pinn him to the wall.

((Remember when I throw my shield the power and velocity of it, it's being thrown by a man with the super strength of 4, smacking it aside so easily with even less strength would be impossible. It's fine this time, but just saying.))

Wilbert's shield reflected off of Renegade's attack and hurled straight towards Ferrum, the shield actually ripping through a chunk of metal and slammed into Ferrum's metal, horribly denting it, then the shield would boomerang back to it's master. Wilbert now had taken evasive maneuvers with Ferrum attacking him, his eyes darted to the strange man who had been helping him, he didn't know who he was, or if it was even a man. All he knew was that he was attacking the villains too, that made him a temporary ally. Wilbert dipped and danced around, moving in and out of the metallic projectiles Ferrum hurled towards him, cars, poles, parts of buildings, signs and other random chunks of metal.

The Black Knight was practically pinned, he had no choice but to run around and dodge, making an attack right now would be suicidal, he had to find another way. Wilbert skillfully caught his shield, it wrapping around his arm as he remained on the move, jumping, flipping, running and evading. Wilbert began running up the metal as he threw it, running up the light poll and jumping up onto the car just like before, only now he had thrown something else down towards him, one of his useful gadgets. Wilbert front flipped off of the vehicle before Ferrum could pull something crazy and fling him off, free falling down towards Ferrum, the device he had thrown already reached the ground. It was a small plastic ball, if it landed on the metal, it would send a violent surge of electricity through the entire metal Ferrum had himself wrapped in.

Wilbert himself was also open for an attack right now, free falling down towards him, but like in chess, some sacrifices must be made in order to conquer.

The metal acted like a perfect conductor and it caused him to fall on one knee. "Damn it" he exclaimed but pushed it and stood to his feet. Ferrum lifted his right hand which was now glowing with silver energy, and shot it at Wilbert's right leg. "Bow to me fool" he said as the beam flew at The Black Knights leg.

While free-falling, Wilbert had little room to move, so the blast collided with his leg before he could dodge, block, counter or anything. The energy burnt his skin, burning the costume just a tiny bit, revealing a bit of his natural black skin. Strangely enough, the costume began to stitch itself back up, like a spider fixing it's own web, the suit fixed itself. Wilbert was still burnt and his leg stung from that attack, but he'd be fine, he was no where near out of this fight yet. He felt a bit repetitive throwing his shield again, but it seemed perfect right now and Ferrum was hard to get close to. He was just about to land on the ground when he tossed his shield towards Ferrum who was still getting over being shocked.

"I bow to no man!" He shouted as the shield was thrown, it quickly hurled towards him with the same aerodynamic properties as before.
