Stepping into the spotlight

While free-falling, Wilbert had little room to move, so the blast collided with his leg before he could dodge, block, counter or anything. The energy burnt his skin, burning the costume just a tiny bit, revealing a bit of his natural black skin. Strangely enough, the costume began to stitch itself back up, like a spider fixing it's own web, the suit fixed itself. Wilbert was still burnt and his leg stung from that attack, but he'd be fine, he was no where near out of this fight yet. He felt a bit repetitive throwing his shield again, but it seemed perfect right now and Ferrum was hard to get close to. He was just about to land on the ground when he tossed his shield towards Ferrum who was still getting over being shocked.

"I bow to no man!" He shouted as the shield was thrown, it quickly hurled towards him with the same aerodynamic properties as before.

" I am getting really tired of this ghost mother fucker. Make your self visible and fight like a man.?" Renegade screamed as he freed himself from the wall. Renegade sent hurling a giant fire ball towards the Black Knight. he also created a fire whip, he whipped it at the Black Knight's legs. leaving him completely vulnerable to his blast.

As the shield closed in on Ferrum he bent backwards with blinding speed. Once the shield had passed over his head he shot back up and turned around blasting it with a cosmic beam, just in case it started to make it's way back. Once Ferrum was clear of the shield he turned to the Black Knight and fired at him again.

The Black Knight had some distance on the two of them, it gave him time to be a little tricky, and with the press of a button he activated a device in his boots. He moved himself so that he was facing Ferrum, staring him down as he just began to blast his shield, and out of the corner of his eye a fire whip was whipping towards him, a fire ball soon behind it, Wilbert had to get out of there fast! And this invention was perfect for that, his boots fired off like rockets, blue fires exhausting from the bottom of his boots, they would only last for a short while, but they made for a good boost. He was blasted out of the range of the two fiery attacks, the whip and blast, and as Ferrum blasted towards him, his body twisted in the air, rolling himself out of the way of the blast he had thrown and quickly jetting down towards him with his "rocket boots" getting towards him quickly and throwing a vicious punch towards his exposed chin, no armor was there, he hoped he would feel that, and he hoped it would hurt!

Before the Black Knight reached Ferrum, he was gone, just like that, in the blink of an eye, he was above the Black Knight. Ferrum drew his arms back and charged energy between his palms. The cosmic energy formed between his two hands then Ferrum fired it at the back of the Black Knight, Ferrum was just too fast for the Black Knight too attack head on. "If you will not bow then you will die!" he yelled as the blast closed in on the unsuspecting hero.

"You really do underestimate people don't you.?" Without a second thought Renegade's whip redirected for the Black Knight's legs and torso. All Renegade had to do was reposition his hand and control was once more in his favor. As Renegade looked up into the sky. he immediately got excited when he saw the thunder storm quickly approaching. "Ferrum! I need you to elevate this car im standing on.?" Renegade screamed into the air. hoping he would hear him and oblige to his command.

Wilbert saw the blast coming head on, he knew the risks of doing this, but he also knew it would pay off! His shield was making it's way towards Ferrum's unguarded backside, it would slam into the back of his head, which would cause him to violently stumble forwards and lose balance from the sheer power and velocity of the shield. Wilbert had crossed his large arms over his muscular chest, guarding himself as best he could as the cosmic blast engulfed him, slamming violently into his arms where he battled against it with both his strength and Endurance. Wilbert was suspended mid-air by the blasts, kept their hovering by his "rocket boots", which once again had a limited time on it. He was fighting off the powerful cosmic blast, which had knocked away Renegade's whip for him. The blast quickly faded into smoke, leaving Wilbert slightly injured in the gray cloud.

Random pieces of his costume, mainly on his arms were ripped up, his chocolate skin exposed, burns and scratches on his skin, the costume starting to fix itself just like before. Before the smoke had a chance to fade, and just a second after his shield would have hit or missed Ferrum, his fist would collide into his face, being sent hurling there quickly with a vicious throw of his right arm, wasting no time despite his injuries, he had to defeat Ferrum and could not do that by being weak! If the whole combo were to hit, Ferrum's head would pretty much be ping ponged in between his shield and fist, then sandwiched!

"Knight, your days are limited." Renegade ran towards the men in sky and as soon as he got to where he was beneath them . he began to randomly hurl fire balls into the sky..mainly directed at the Black Knight.

((Damn it, I misread your post Cult, I didn't see that you moved behind me to blast me, I thought you were in front of me. My bad, Guess I wasn't paying attention to that. So I can do one of two things for you, remake my entire post, or just edit it and say I spun around in time to block somehow? Up to you Viva))

(I don't care really dude, I see this fight as a way to introduce Renegade, and make Ferrum and the Black Knight to look bad ass as possible, and have one of the most bad ass fights ever, so from now on my choice is whatever you think will make the Black Knight look cooler. )

Ferrum ducked the attack, sending the shield most likely back to the Black Knight Ferrum placed his hand near the Black Knight's torso and fired a cosmic beam, the brightest silver shown as in went towards the hero.

((I'm slowly developing more and more of Wilbert's technology, devices, weapons, vehicles, etc. So if it sounds cheap to ya, let me know, but in my opinion, it's not bad and helps him make up for the lack of EP.))

Wilbert's free hand moved to actually physically catch Ferrum's fist before he could fully fire off his attack, his hand somehow stopping the attack and allowing him to grab Ferrum's fist with no trouble. It was all thanks to his suit that this was possible, it was designed to help him absorb energy and some element attacks, but it's effectiveness was dependent on blocking, catching or deflecting, it helped to protect him a bit just normally, but not nearly as well unless he were prepared for the attack. The suit can also be overloaded, so it cannot absorb energy forever, otherwise it could be deadly on Wilbert's part, however, his suit overtime releases the energy and can all be dumped out more quickly through his rocket boots, using their energy to propel him.

Wilbert smirked at him from beneath his mask as his grip tightened on Ferrum's fist, staring him down, meeting eye to eye. "My suit is better than yours..." He said coldly as his knee blasted forward towards his gut, holding his shield up so that if his upper half were to thrust forward, it would slam straight into his shield.

Ferrum charged more energy through his fist into Wilbert's hand, he wasn't sure what was going on, so as last ditch, he fired a massive amount of energy, however as Wilbert sent his knee at Ferrum, his suit seemed to move, most of the thickness from around the back of the suit shrunk, making the back thinner, and the spot where Wilbert sent the knee got a resurgence, Wilbert would be kneeing concentrated pure metal almost 6 inches thick, "Really?" he asked as the knee had no effect.

(My suit is made entirely of metal, almost like a suit of armor, but more flexible, I moved the metal in my suit to make it thinker in one spot )

Wilbert's suit was pretty tough, but any normal man who would have kneed that would be on the ground, but not him, a man like him would be just fine. It hurt sure, but he would not let that small pain stop him, nor hinder him in anyway. Wilbert was strong himself, he was strong enough to dent the metal pretty well, another hit or two like that and he would get through. His hand felt the energy begin surging again, he couldn't keep that up forever, he needed to conserve his suits power, his hand releasing from his, allowing the energy to blast outwards. Wilbert quickly spun his entire body around, throwing that same arm's elbow into the the middle of his helmet, the small portion that was exposed, intending to hit his lips.

As quick as he had moved in Ferrum was gone, making the Black Knight elbow thin air. Ferrum was now about 20 feet away from Wilbert, he rose his hands lifting up a multitude of cars,(5 to be exact) Ferrum threw the cars at Wilbert, and hidden behind them another cosmic blast, so that if he dodged, it would hopefully catch him by surprise, but if they hit, to make them explode.
