A tale of two gods [Yamm]

"Well...that's unexpected but yeah. Sure...it's not like this can be a small matter though. If it's a simple creature then you'll look to weak and they'll never follow you." Yamm added in. It would probably be something big and bad or something overly powerful. They really needed a deus ex machina and not the kind that Yamm did. His version was to turn into dragon and cause global storms. That aside... he had hoped that his ally had an idea, because he quite frankly, had none. He was just here to be a hunk he guessed but...that's weird to think like that.

So they needed something powerful, Idol felt like he could conjure something up that would challenge a god. Stroking his chin slightly, he would consider the various things that he could bring about that would be able to challenge a god, if there was anything that could do something like that within this world. Maybe he could borrow something from his own world, something that would at least show that he wasn’t weak by any means. The problem was that he was weak compared to his former power, so they would have not been wrong in assuming he was weak. Honestly, he disliked this weakness within him when he had known a great amount of strength for so long. The amulet around his neck glowed warmly against his flesh, flowing with power that he could use to perform this great feat, if this power was enough anyway.

”It won’t be anything simple, I can guarantee that much.” He said with a nod of his head, oh this would be good. ”I need to know where the nearest port is and an approximation of how large your true form is. That will be very important.” He needed something to challenge a god and not knowing the approximate power of this god could make things difficult. Either he made it too powerful or not enough, making the whole plan somewhat pointless, which likely would end up with him fading. Once Yamm explained that, he could get to the hard part of unleashing his little problem upon the world.

True Idol had never used his powers to menace someone before, but then again this was a special case, so he could make an exception. Regardless, once all of that was done they could move his plan into motion, and oh what a plan it would be. Whether the ones who saw it that weren’t believers cared much, well that could be brought into consideration much later. Because he didn’t know much in the way of this worlds laws, so that all had to wait. So with what little power he had left and the power within the amulet, maybe he could work something up. So now the stage was going to be set and both of them had their parts to play. Those parts being getting rescued while the other beat up a massive monster, all in all it sounded like the perfect day to him, even if he would have rather beaten up the monster.

Still, not as if he could get everything he wanted, otherwise that would have looked poorly upon Yamm, simply because he doubted he wanted to look bad in front of his followers. Now it was time for a scene transition, because those are just awesome.

So now the fun part begun, or rather the potentially painful part. Painful for him moreso than the dragon, but there would be pain all around for them. It involved mostly something rising from the water, heavily displacing the water around it as a great tentacle creature would rise from the depths, slamming these tendrils against the surface of the water and likely drawing a lot of attention. ”Now that is what I call a masterpiece.” He muttered to himself more pleased with his creative work than the fact that this could destroy everything around him, because that was exactly what he was trying to do. One of these tendrils moved around to grab one of the civilians that had not moved out of the way, giving him enough time to slice through the dence flesh with the moonlight blue sword.

Blood splashed bright green over the ground as the creature thrashed around, spreading it’s disgusting blood all over the place. ”You might want to get out of here, this is looking a little messy.” He stated as some people started running away somewhat, they also kept close enough to watch. Honestly, if he wasn’t covered in sea monster blood, his golden armor would have looked even more immaculate. Regardless, he managed to hold off the strength of the creature admirably well considering that he was far weaker than normal, until it managed to wrap a tentacle around his midriff. Within a matter of seconds, Idol found himself being lifted into the air and squeezed with impressive force, enough so that his armor had started to dent inwards and if nothing was done, well he would be reduced to a squishy mess.
