Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
He had created the apple for more than one purpose, one of those was to eat it and the other was because he couldn’t eat gold. Unlike a certain members of his family, he couldn’t ingest gold and that just led to pain for him not long after. It wasn’t speculation either, he had actually eaten gold once and that was the least fun time he had ever had within his short life. Sadly, attempting to emulate the ability to eat gold was not something to do, and he didn’t quite want to go through the same process by eating a golden apple, which looked about as golden as something golden could be. As for the way that Yamm put emphasis on young, it made it sound as if he didn’t believe that or something else. Regardless, this god made no sense to him.
As for the talking while eating, he had just been made aware of that, blinking and swallowing the food he had been chewing on. As for the next part, well it seemed his planned strategy was not something that would work. This made Idol frown lightly, slightly displeased by the fact what he had done for most of his life just wouldn’t cut it. If he couldn’t show off then that left him with trying to figure out how the people of this world worked. ”Showing off not a good thing.” he intoned, summing up the explanation in a few words with a nod, stroking his chin while trying to think up a different approach. With that they moved to a room behind the temple, something that looked pretty cozy to him, compared to the places he had been sleeping before.
A small bag of something was thrown to him, Idol catching it much like the apple and opening it. Apparently this was something that would prevent his fading, or it should as far as he knew. As far as what it was, well it looked like small shining pebbles, though he couldn’t question magic really. This saved him some time, but how much time he didn’t know. ”I’ve…tried what had worked for me before. Showing my power, helping the people but they only called me a….metahuman and reviled me. I have no clue was a metahuman even is.” He stated with a frown.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
"Metahuman is a lable that the common, powerless mortal lables other things with powers beyond their own. The term means essentially "Above humans" but also means "amongst humans". You, as a diety are technically a metahuman because you are amongst humans, despite being above them. It's just another blanket term that the use so that they don't need to keep track of how many different kinds of people and creatures they hate. Funny how humans were born of love... so many of them without it." He said before losing himself in that thought. After a moment of silence he shrugged and looked back to Idol. This predicament was definitely one that he didn't want to deal with, but one that needed to be done. Out of both honor and out of common respect for his fellow "metahuman".
"Well like I said, I'm young too so... I need to seek council for this matter. Would you mind if I called an advisor and we could see what he has to offer for your problem?" He asked before he whispered into his goblet of water. "Tehzin Nariama, Blairisatha Derenor." The water echoed and he looked to Idol again.
"We need to know what the cult will call you and things of that nature. We also need to think about what to tell them your domain rests over." He added, leaving Idol to respond to those lingering thoughts.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
So metahumans were beings with powers greater than the average humans, granted these humans of this world were far different The powerless mortals portion did explain so many things, because perhaps they feared those that had power that could be easily abused on them. Nott hat he would ever do so, but how could they be expected to know that? That technically made him one of these metahumans, even though he was nowhere near human, but the explanation made some sense. So he wouldn’t question it beyond a nod, and a semi-understanding expression. The fact that they hated those with powers in a way was painful, but in the same sense he could understand the fear of those without power.
The elder god said something about him being young too, though something told him that even in his age he outranked him by a good few years. ”I wouldn’t mind.” He said with a small smile, crossing his arms over his chest while waiting for this advisor would appear from wherever they were coming from. He spoke in that strange language into his goblet, before turning to him and saying something about what the cult would need to call him. Which was an interesting concept, because he had no idea as far as that was concerned. Sure, he had his true name but that was something that he couldn’t just translate into a language that he knew little about.
He also had to think of what his domain would be, considering he wasn’t so sure they would follow a creation deity. ”They could call me….Kegan.” He said after a few minutes of thought, with a resolute nod. ”As for domain, well I suppose we could go with what I do. Creation and….fire.” He said, creating a small flame that danced along his right index finger before sputtering out.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
Blair arrived very shortly after being summoned by the dragon king's voice. He had to remember to thank Archon for teaching him that little trick. It was so much nicer than having to text someone, who may or may not hear it buzz or ring. That and Blair had a way of ignoring texts rather frequently. This method was just flat out better as he had no excuse for not responding. Blair arrived in a flash, not really he arrived in what was better equated to a golden slime that seemed to rise up from the floor, a mound like goo and slime that took the form of a man before turning solid and looking around.
"Please tell me this is important, I'm honestly busy trying to keep the hatchlings under control and I'm trying to pull some strings to find the location of- someone in particular." Blair said, quickly cutting his words as he saw Idol. His eyes narrowed in curiosity as he walked a circle around Idol, looking him over with a piercing gaze. He leaned to the left, then to the right as if trying to see from different angles. "Okay, it's a blatheragen-flabbinsort." He said, his mouth obviously trying to make noises that it either didn't actually make or in attempts to say something in it's native tongue and butchering it terribly. Yamm's glare was pretty harsh, which caused Blair to recoil, throwing his arms up in defense.
"Hey, don't look at me. It's like the Ethereals. Their name doesn't actually translate. Like, the Ethereals have that language that no other race can actually speak and whatever... but yeah...this is the equivalent of a diety. A lesser one probably, pretty decent potential energy." Blair summerized as he backed away from Idol and towards Yamm, his arms were crossed as he looked to the dragon king with a most puzzled look. How did he encounter this thing? They weren't of this world that Blair had known of, they had their own world with it's own rules. Who knows what the consequences would be for Yamm harboring this thing! Last thing Blair wanted was a pissed off short guy with a badass blade and gauntlets to fist him to death. Not like THAT, mind outta the gutter, ya freak. "So...is this...a friend or what's the purpose of me being here?" He asked, the question was so quickly after his statement that Yamm didn't have time to even get to a real explanation.
"If you would shut up for five seconds I could tell you!" Matt snipped. Blair fell silent while Matt let out a deep exhale. "It's been five sec- I KNOW IT'S BEEN FIVE SECONDS!" Matt snapped again, Blair seeming to take amusement from his pointing out of the obvious. "He needs a flock...a congregation...." "A following?" "A flock, yes. We need to figure out a way to integrate him into Yamm's...well...my pantheon." Matt added before letting out a rather defeated sigh and looking over the desk at Idol. Without a following he'd die it would seem. Blair looked over to Idol and let out a little hum before looking back at Yamm. He turned and seemed to address Idol.
"I need you to tell me about yourself. Where you come from. What your domain is and I need to know how much you know of this pantheon Yamm is part of. Ready, set go!" Blair said before snapping his fingers at Idol.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
Rising up from the floor was a mound of unknown goo, golden in color that had begun to take a more humanoid shape. Perhaps this was the person that Yamm had called within that unknown language of his. Who they were, that was the question that he found himself wondering. Idol considered Blair with a curious expression, dark green eyes scanning over them as if that would give some hint as to what they were, They seemed to hold the same feeling, as they eyed him much like he did them, circling around him as if sizing him up in some fashion. The best way he could describe it was almost like some kind of cat ready to pounce on its prey. Any serious assumption about them was ruined the moment they spoke gibberish, only confusing the poor deity even more than he already was. Not that it was hard, considering this new world was just full of surprises.
This had drawn a sharp glare from Yamm who did not seem to appreciate whatever he was saying, ethereals were mentioned and then things went on from there. What those were, well he had no clue but they sounded strange indeed. The unknown being however seemed to recognize what he was, which was far better than what most people tended to do when they met him. Even when they asked and he answered they did not believe him. That was the part about this world that discouraged him more than anything else. As far as a lesser deity, well that was something that he could argue because many had considered him a major deity within his home realm. Granted, he was cut off from his power source, so that might have explained why he was demoted to something such as a minor deity of all things.
If that was what he had to be for the time being, well that was what Idol would have to deal with. As for who he was, well he was about to answer that when Yamm snapped at the male saying that he was going to explain it. More sarcasm and then more attention was turned towards him, Idol looking around almost lost in the whole scene. In essence, idol needed a following to sustain himself, and that was something that the dragon had offered to help him gain. This entailed including him within his own pantheon, which was far beyond anything that he had ever expected anyone to do for him, especially in such dire circumstance. Yamm turned to him, and he looked back at him with a singular arched eyebrow as if wondering why he was looking at him like that. Of course there was a clue, but assumptions were not something that he made lightly.
”Where I come from?” he considered this for a moment, hmming to himself before thinking up a way he could explain his own world. ”Well I come from a world far different from this one. It was…purer, the gods were about and they helped the people. I can’t quite place it....a shadow lingers over your world, but I don’t know what it is.” This was more idle than anything else, but what he had said seemed to trouble him to a degree. ”My father was the creator of the world I came from, well and the adjacent worlds….it gets confusing. My domain is….well… I can create things much like he can. I mean I can’t create a world, but that’s not something just anyone does.” The question time reminded him that he was not too good at answering these things, that was more his sister.
”I know almost nothing about his pantheon. I’m not from this world, so….I don’t know what you’re expecting of me.”

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
"Alright, well you need to know the pantheon. What I expect you to know is what you're getting into. I figured you might have been informed. I didn't know how much you and Yamm talked." Blair said, explaining that he didn't really expect much. If anything Blair was trying to help him understand just exactly what he was getting into. Blair made a motion for Idol to follow, hopefully he would. To ensure he would Yamm groaned as he stood himself up and started walking, placing a hand on Idol's shoulder to convey a sign of "come this way". If Idol were to follow they'd go through the pantheon, showing each and every statue. The room in the back, off of Yamm's "living room" was a circular area with statues on pedestals around every wall. A few of the pedestals were empty, as if there had been nothing there. The center of the room has a well of water, no fire, no lightning. What was that? It was always changing form to become everything at the exact same time? The ceiling was nothing more than the inky void of space without the stars. Obviously present yet total nothingness. The first statue was of a dragon like creature.
"Wodan, the deity of the hunt. Essentially the primordial of all things considered to be hunting, predatory nature and things of that nature. Animalistic instinct is another one." Blair said as they continued to walk. The next entity was a large amorphous blob with scattered eyes and tendrils, from the bottom of the blob was a woman in appearance, one that Yamm knew personally. The woman was beautiful but she was shrouded with an inky looking dress and a rather smug grin that depicted her true nature. "Shub'Niggurath, the deity of secrets. The Goddess of manipulation, lies and desire...subsequently also the goddess of treachery and treason." Blair announced as they walked past that statue. Next to that was a blank podium, then after that was a massive creature that appeared to be a hybrid of wolf and man looming over a picture of a young man like Yamm.
"Marduk, the deity of lightning and war. Nothing much to be said about him other than the fact he's the son of Bal'Hadad the patron deity of sunlight. The ultimate betrayer to-That's enough Blair." Matt interrupted as he continued to lead them through the circle. The other deity was a man with a cane, a poshly dressed person the eyes of the statue were made of obsidian with ruby's cared to fit the iris of each eye. Behind the statue was a cloud of blackness. "Sin, the primordial of evil. The "deity" of death, destruction, and all things evil. Unlike Shub'Niggurath Sin is truly incapable of doing any good." The next place they came to was in the center of the circle, a large dragon coiled up, a dragon of the sea. The eyes were glowing and a large sapphire seemed to be pierced through it's chest as it looked about. The massive statue was of an elaborate dragon, one that almost felt as if it were alive. Beneath the dragon was a humanoid form, a head bowed down with both dragon claw blades crossed and wearing his traditional armor.
"Yamm. The God of the oceans, water, the sustainer of all life. King of all Dragons, father of levithans, the true ruler of Seppam and the primordial of chaos...and emotions." Blair said as he looked to Yamm. Yamm just rolled his eyes before looking to the blank podiums beside the Yamm statue, the gap between Shub and Marduke and a few gaps between Sin and Yamm. Blair turned around and pointed to the sky. "Eros...the void. Total and utter nothingness. Eternal and unending. Nothing will ever overpower Eros, nothing will ever defeat Eros. Eros is more than we are, yet somehow still nothing at all. Eros is the void Eros is nothing." He added in as he then pointed to the well of ever changing energy that seemed to cause the entire floor to light with the energy in a beautiful and immaculate display. "Archon, the one from whom all existence in all the realms is born. For if it exists, as does he. For he is tied in existence and existence through him. The Existential, all that comes to be is because of him. The closest thing we have to a "creator" deity really." Blair concluded as he then turned back to Idol.
"Any questions?" Blair asked, figuring if Idol wanted to know more...now was the time to ask before they finally decided upon what they were going to do.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
He needed to know the pantheon, as that would make this whole being a part of it much easier in the long run. Part of him wondered how many deities this pantheon had, their purpose and the forms they took to interact with mortals, unless of course they were much like the other gods of this world that had nothing to do with it. Regardless, he would learn names and possibly the domains that they resided over. If they were half as interesting as the one that he had met in person, well then perhaps being a part of this pantheon might do wonders for him. With a single hand placed on his shoulder he conveyed the whole follow me well enough, so idol would follow the two into what looked like some manner of room with statues depicting various strange beings.
It reminded him much of the various halls that had dotted his own world, depicting the thirteen deities that the people so loved. The nostalgic moment only brought about a sort of homesickness, a desire to leave this dark world for somewhere brighter. If that world held anything for him, something told Idol that wasn’t the case anymore. Above him was a space without stars, seemingly stretching endless as a void that felt as if it could consumed anything. Looking into it, he felt a strange weight upon his chest before turning his attention back to what was happening before him. Blair would be so kind to explain what each statue represented. Each one came with some manner of explanation, each one bringing a sort of awe at how the deities differed from those where he came from; his aunts and uncles.
Those that held his attention the most were the last two, a void and the very energy of existence itself. To know the name of that which gave form to everything was an interesting thing, but then again that might have just been what they called it in this language. There could’ve have been so many titles given to it, as well as just a true name, everything had a true name. idol considered everything said to him with immense interest, arms crossed over his chest and a low hmmm drawing out from his throat. As for questions, well he would’ve had a few but then again not like gods tended to reside within one another’s temples. They had their own, and now with the knowledge that there were other deities was more than enough for him.
”I do have a question actually. Who are you? You’re not human, you’re a spirit that much I can tell but I don’t know exactly who or what you are.” Idol stated with eyes narrowing, taking on a molten gold color rather than the prior dull green. His true sight had its uses, much like seeing things such as this.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
Glowing eyes? Was this little punk looking for a fight? Unwise, as even Yamm would not confront the spirit that masqueraded by the name of Blair. It had proven time after time again that it was formidable, even if respectful enough to follow Yamm's summons and decrees. The only other time Blair had seen glowing eyes was when one was using their powers. Why would this thing use its power upon him? What was it trying to do? If Blair had not been suspicious before...he certainly was now. He just smiled and stepped forward, circling paces around Idol again.
"Oh that's cute. Glowing eyes, true sight and the like. But I wonder...just what exactly you were looking for that required you to use it..." He said, the suspicion of Idol was painfully clear. Yamm clearing his throat and snagging Blair's attention was the only thing that caused Blair to back away a little. "My name is Blair. I am an advisor to Yamm and YOU'RE a pain in my proverbial ass." He said before looking to Yamm and sighing. Of course he would have to work with this entity for the sake of what Yamm's kind heard demanded. That being said he crossed his arms and looked at the blank podiums present.
"Well...this is going better than I thought." Matt said before Blair looked back and shrugged.
"Personally I'd let him die... because you aren't gonna like that I recommend." Blair said. Yamm turned his head, a warning scowl plastered on his face that made Blair shiver a little before raising both his hands in the air a little to concede defeat. "You could fool them into thinking this deity is your significant o-Out of the question-exactly what I figured." Their little spiel was over as Blair looked back to Yamm. "What else are you going to do? How else are you going to integrate a stranger, whom is a deity from another pantheon into your own pantheon while still conveying the image that you're not a sell out and that this entire pantheon of yours isn't about to get munched and mashed into another's divinity?" Blair asked. Matt groaned as he followed Blair, obviously willing to protest this to the bitter end. Blair returned to Yamm's private chambers and took out a book from the shelf, as if he owned the place.
"N-no we can make him the High Priest, or a Dragon Knight!" Yamm said, hoping that those responses would get the desired effect. Of course they did not.
"You don't give faith and adoration to a Priest or a Knight. He wouldn't last a month on that kind of adoration. Also, you'd be booting Alex out of the High-Priest position and replacing pale and frail with...well... compact and pretty. That won't give him the wrong message at all." Blair chuckled as he rolled his eyes and began amassing books upon books. "Look, like it or not a political relationship, an arrangement if you will, is the best course of action. If you didn't want the best choice of action then you shouldn't have asked advice from your ADVISOR! Just suck it up, then suck him up and get this over with." Blair said as he concluded his pile of books he apparently intended on borrowing. Yamm made his way over to his desk, sat down and crossed his arms, pouting a little as he continued to desperately claw the insides of his mind for a way out.
"I-I don't wanna..." He said, Blair immediately rolled his eyes at the childish behavior.
"Look, you're under the assumption that this has to be permanent. It doesn't. We just use this to help slide him into this tight squeeze and take some pains away. Once he's in we can move some things around and put some events in place. Next thing we know he's preforming an act of heroism and you two can pull apart and you're both beloved Gods that are no longer in a political arrangement." Blair explained, as he then looked to Idol, hoping for some voice of confirmation or understanding. "It's just...putting on a show. No big deal. Everyone walks away happy. You two just need to pretend that the reason Idol is joining this pantheon is because he's some form of...mate, or potential mate I guess. Then when he's amassed enough support you lop it off and you're both still beloved gods." He concluded, summarizing things a little once more. In truth he was honestly pushing for this because he wanted to enforce misery upon Yamm and then subsequently forcing misery upon the glowing eyed punk that thought it was a great idea to ask too many of the wrong questions.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
Curiosity sometimes proved to be amore of a pain than idol cared to deal with, but then again sometimes it just overcame him. Part of him wondered what this being was stood before him, and to do so, well his eyes tended to glow when he broke the glamour. Sadly, this was easily mistaken as an act of aggression, simply because eyes tended to glow before an attack was made. Not with idol however, because he was swifter when it came to dolling out violence. By the time someone was aware he was attack, they had already been struck. His response and the tone he took explained his feelings towards him now, though if the male had secrets to hide then that was just something he did not care about. Honestly, he could have done without the being a pain in his ass part, considering they had just met and already he had shown such undue hostility.
Part of him was expecting the guy to attack and if that happened, then he would have to defend himself. Despite the fact he was without a great measure of his strength, he was still not someone to look down upon. He could have summoned his blade, but in the end it seemed they would mention something that would help him. Something that likely the dragon would have not been so happy with. Letting him die, well it was not as simple as dying, it was a far more terrifying ending. He didn’t have concepts yet to anchor him down, so when he faded that was a more permanent fading. The thought alone was enough to send a shudder through him, causing most of the hair on his body to rise in goosebumps. Not that he would let any fear show beyind a furrowing of the brows as the glamour returned and his eyes took on their dull green color once again.
This plan the dragon gods advisor was that they fool their worshippers into believing that he was Yamm’s…significant other. Idol actually thought this over for a few seconds, and then realized he had never considering that before. The explanation for it made sense, that much he could see but then again something about it would likely not sit right with the dragon himself. Idol had never really bothered himself when it came to race or gender, it was simply not something that crossed his mind. Honestly, any sort of relationship like that had never crossed his mind either, he was a little too pure in that sense. He knew they existed, but they were just not something that he really thought of himself being in. being immortal made reproduction a non-issue.
Yamm however, seemed against it for some reason. Perhaps it might have been that they did not know one another or he simply did not have an interest in keeping him alive that way, one of the reasons had to be it. ”He’s not wrong.” idol admitted with a nod, considering the merits of the males argument and seeing few flaws with it. When he thought about it, the idea was brilliant to the point of it being almost painful. ”This seems like the only course of action, but…..” Idol paused, considering what they could do carefully. ”I suppose it’s up to you, isn’t it?”

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
"You agree with this?" Matt asked as he let out a frustrated groan as he let his head fall back limp. He was not happy with this event at all, though he had to do what was decent and good, didn't he? If he didn't then what example would that be on a deity? They were both young so he could honestly blame it on confusion? Did God's have that? Who knows anymore. He groaned and looked to Idol before rolling his eyes. He suddenly hated this person...and not just because he had to psuedo-marry him or what the Hell ever Blair went on about.
"It's up to you entirely." Blair said with a smug grin that made Yamm want to deck him. In fact Matt would have if he hadn't been so concerned with what had happened in his life before hand. He lost his friends, his family and everything except his followers. This guy was here without friend or family...and he didn't even have followers. He was just gonna fade out like - no. He wouldn't think of it like that. They didn't fade away, he refused to believe that...
"What a pain in the ass... Fine." He sighed, shooting Blair a glare to warn him to keep any snarky remarks to himself lest he find himself in a world of trouble. "So...how do we? Look I'm not joking, what the fuck do we do?" Matt asked, still disturbed and slightly embittered by the whole event. But he held onto the solace of the fact that it wasn't permanent. Sooner rather than later they would be able to break it all off and everyone could get their happy ending...maybe. That was still yet to be seen as he looked to Idol with an arched eyebrow, still awaiting an answer.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
Idol could tell that yam was not pleased with the arrangement, and Idol couldn’t help but cringe slightly at the edge that was within the dragon’s voice. ”I do, it makes sense.” While he would have not wanted to have made the male uncomfortable, this just seemed like something that had to be done, unless he did not care about him fading into nothingness. The idea of which was still not something that Idol liked to even consider, if only because it was perhaps the most frightening thing possible, for him at least. There was always someone that loved the idea of fading away, but that was not him.
As Blair had said, it was all up to him, though something about the tone was not something that he was too fond of. Perhaps everyone here just liked him less now than before. The thought alone was enough to make him feel awkward, but then again beggars couldn’t be choosers, the word beggar being placed to him was more than enough to make Idol feel nearly sick. Despite his seeming annoyance with the whole thing, the dragon had agreed to it however, which meant that everything could go a little smoother thanks to that. While he had not wanted to inconvenience the god, this was just something that had to happen.
”How do we what? This political arrangement?” Idol paused to consider an answer, unsure of that really, because that was something that this advisor had offered up as a solution. ”Shouldn’t you be asking the one who suggested it? I don’t know too much in the way of these things, beyond a lot of acting.”

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
"It's simple. You hold hands, kiss in public once or twice to keep up appearances and you just act like you're sickeningly in love with one and other, dedicating yourselves to an act that will undoubtedly destroy Yamm's fragile ego and force him to understand that doing what's right never pays off because ultimately all you do is hurt yourself. After that happens he goes a little crazy, snaps and goes crazy where his phaux-lover will stop the rampage, after the rampage things are never the same again, you won't love each other...you won't even like each other, but out of respect for one and other and all that you've built upon this lie you'll coexist begrudgingly, forever trapped in your own personal perdition while the other still lives an you remember the pain and agony that you both went through over a simple façade." Blair said, actually really quite fast. He said it in two short breaths which is actually rather impressive. Yamm was used to the crack-speed speak, but he wished he didn't upon hearing that. Mostly because he figured that that's how this was pretty much going to end up.
"I'm going to do it because it's the right thing to do. I'm not going to go crazy and I'm not going to do something stupid like hate HIM because of YOUR plan." Matt growled a little, though Blair just grinned from ear to ear, very Cheshire in manner. "I can ban my followers from entering my chambers. They can wait in the lobby-living room-whatever the fuck that is out there. That way for all they know we do sleep in the same place." He explained with a roll of his eyes.
"Ooooh...that's going to damage your reputation as an ever receptive deity." Blair said, at this point it was obvious he was just pushing buttons to see how far he could get before the Dragon God blew up on him.
"They can still ask for me at any time and I'll come to them, but my 'mate' would like privacy with me in some area of this massive ass temple and the room we slip will provide the perfect place." He retorted through his teeth with a seething rage, the venom was almost thick enough to make a cloud in the air. Blair just smiled and shrugged.
"However you wanna do this man. We do need to think of a way to announce the two of you though....something momentous. Something believable.... So who has a scenario that we can do where you two could "fall in love" so that this rumor and these myths could be confirmed?" Blair asked, Yamm looked to Idol with a face that just asked "wtf bro?"
"See...I can't believe you went for this...You know what... I'm the one giving up part of my following...you deal with the love things. Just tell me what to do and when to do it and I'll make it happen. Until then... I'm sitting in my chair." He said while stretching his arms over his head and then reclining a little in his desk chair. So Idol was in charge of making this all happen.
"Him, three minutes, on that chair."
"-'Scuse me?"
"SO SHANE....Kegan...Keegan...how do you want the dragon to sweep you off your feet...or how do you want to sweep him off his? Please pick the latter...it would be ssssoooo much more satisfying for me." Blair added in with a snigger, much to Yamm's dismay.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
It appeared as if Yamm and his advisor continually expected something of him, not that he should have been too surprised by that. They knew almost nothing about him, so perhaps they had thought he knew more than he actually did. Blair seemed to know a vague idea of what they were supposed to do, things Idol had seen couples do before or rather a friend of his with one they fancied. However, he knew that would not be something that the dragon god would so enjoy, if only because their facial expressions before and after this whole thing was mentioned. However, the male spoke most of it quick, so he couldn’t follow all of it and ended up more confused than before. Then again, this creature was more likely to bring confusion for him more than anything else, but if they were an advisor, he would have to follow his advice to a point.
Yamm said something about not going crazy, nor hating him for something, suggesting that perhaps that was what his advisor had said within the rapid speech. However in the end it came down to one thing, and that was he had to think up a way by which they could get together . Of course, he had a feeling that the dragon was annoyed by him more than anything else, but then again he didn’t suffer the same threat he was. Were Idol more of a spiteful person, he would have said something about that, but instead he stayed quiet and thought over what he would do as far as suggestions. So far it seemed he would have no help in the matter, so that meant he would need to think something up on his own, not quite something he really enjoyed but then again that was the sum of his time here.
Now he had to think of a way by which this could happen, lacking knowledge of how anything worked in this world made that more annoying when trying to convince the followers that knew far more about it than him. His face twisted into what looked like an expression of deep thought while he tried to think of something, anything that would convince and nothing came to mind at once. Sadly, as of now he lacked the insane intellect that his father had, so he only had what he did to work with. From what he could tell, from facial expressions and such Yamm was not too keen on the whole being swept off of his feet thing, so the former option seemed like the most likely solution that both wouldn’t mind. Either way, now he needed to think of a way that would convince their followers the thing was legitimate.
”Perhaps we could….” He started but paused, stroking his chin as if trying to think something up yet failing within that. He never really thought he would have to think something like this up, so that only made things more difficult. Not something that idol relished, but then again not like he had a choice. ”Well where I come from people are swept off of their feet after a display of valor or heroism. Defeating a great beast of some kind, but this world seems to lack those, and there aren’t any evil dragons I know of….” Idol sighed, this would be hard. ”There aren’t any knights either. So Yamm, would you be willing to perform a little act of heroism? Because I think I have an idea of how to make this work.” He seemed like he had something in mind, but if it would work was different.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
Well it wasn't like Yamm was going to object to doing something heroic, though it wasn't exactly in his niche since he was given the boot. He lost all patience for his father, The Minister, long ago. Now his mother was the most sickening woman he knew. Though he had to admit he wished for nothing else than for things to go back to the way it was when he was just a human. Before he met a little wild-child that wanted to screw him, before he met a crazy genius that wanted to screw him, before he met a little angel who wanted to screw him, before he met a shape-shifter that wanted to screw him and before he met another deity that he now screwing with. Only one of those was proverbial, which is the worst part. What he wanted wasn't important either, so shut up.

Re: A tale of two gods [Yamm]
It was a good thing that Yamm was all aboard for the whole heroism bit of the plot, but that just meant he would have to think a little for the whole plot in general. Idol crossed his arms over his chest, hmming to himself softly while considering what this act of heroism would end up being. While he could have done something simple like conjuring up a dragon through great expenditure of his energy, that would have likely killed him in the attempt. Dying was something that was more than anything defeating the purpose of their plot to keep him from dying. That, and making a dragon kill another would likely have an unknown effect upon his followers. Even here, humans were not something that he could predict, so he would have to avoid anything like that. ”Taking a classic and trying to make it work in this world.” He would start, stroking his chin while his mind just began to work even faster.
”Considering I imagine you would want to be the…one sweeping me of my feet, that means you will be doing the one saving me.” If Yamm was even half as powerful a god as Idol thought them to be, then they would have no problem doing the job. If Blaire had a suggestion about the plot, then it would be considered but in the end it was all up to the one that he was to take a relationship with. ”I put myself in danger likely by being attacked by something, you swoop in and save me from said trouble. I’m overcome with feeling and….well that’s usually how it goes from where I come from. Not quite sure if it flies here, but that’s my plan.” He would state, looking to the two others to see their opinion on the matter.
”Feel free to give advice on the matter.”

"Well...that's unexpected but yeah. Sure...it's not like this can be a small matter though. If it's a simple creature then you'll look to weak and they'll never follow you." Yamm added in. It would probably be something big and bad or something overly powerful. They really needed a deus ex machina and not the kind that Yamm did. His version was to turn into dragon and cause global storms. That aside... he had hoped that his ally had an idea, because he quite frankly, had none. He was just here to be a hunk he guessed but...that's weird to think like that.
