A heart gone cold [Silus]

Ryan  listened to him, the story that he told, yet his body still felt it, exhaustion that he could not quite control. He remembered trying to take refuge in so many shelters, yet only being turned away when there was no room, moving along the streets and....Ryan shuddered, blinking a few times and trying to let his mind stray elsewhere. However everything that happened to him, he felt as if he deserved in some way, that he had brought this upon himself. ”Yeah, I know whatcha mean.” he would say drowzily with a nod, leaning against the couch arm, arms crossed over his chest as he let out a small yawn. Usually a bath would have helped him keep awake, but now it seemed as if it was doing the opposite, pushing him off into sleep. His eyes felt heavy, and even without meaning to he ended up falling asleep, snoring softly while he did.

Silus watched the kid fall asleep and smiled. He adjusted the blanket, dropping it over the other homeless boy before sitting back down and looking at him to see if that's how he thought it would be okay to leave him with. Silus decided it was fine, he walked out into the kitchen. Yancey was elated to see Silus and ran right up to him and circled around, hugging his friend with a warm hum.

"You're alive!" He said, it wasn't loud, but it was certainly excited. Silus nodded and messed with the male's hair before taking his younger form again, a small light figure shaping itself smaller. He looked to Amir and Doctor Alai. "Hey dad?" He would ask, preparing his "father" for an outrageous request. "Can we pretend my older form and my younger form aren't the same people. Because I don't want him to get freaked out." He made this request as he bit down on his lower lip.

"Uhm...sure. Just make sure you limit the shifting. We cannot be covering all over the time with you. It will get difficult to keep up, is all I'm saying. And do not intend to deceive him..." Doctor Alai warned after a moment of Silence, but beyond that he seemed okay with the idea. "So what do we call you?" Amir asked. Silus pondered for a second.

"Zell!" Yancey said, Sius had forgotten how much the pup loved unique names. Silus rolled his eyes and nodded. "Yeah...he's Zell. He's our "older brother" and he's not here a lot. he works." "Pffft. I wish." Doctor Alai said with a joking wink as he continued to eat his soup. Silus just smiled.

Okay, so this was happening. He would have to be both Silus AND "Zell". This was going to be interesting. But for now he would try and got things organized as to make things easier on the Alai's.
