Utopia Under The Waves

The tendrils slithered forward. Sin had an anticipation killing him inside. He wanted to see what the creature would do. Not that it was entirely unrealistic to figure out that the creature was likely going to attempt to attack him. The only other thing that came to mind involved a camera and becoming a huge star to Japanese perverts. His eyes shifted, red eyes and black pupils taking over as he smiled, a slightly sharper canine revealed as he ran his tongue along his teeth.

"Me? Oh I'm nothing really. I'm just the corruptor of the life web, the poison of Yggdrasil, the one whom corrupted Life and transformed it into Death. I am the source of all darkness. I am the reason all things die, the great deceiver, the corruptor... I suppose you could say.... I'm Sin... But I am also Yamm... Primordial of Chaos, King of Maddness, Patron of the Vampire and Father of Leviathans..." He said in a very uninterested tone, almost as if listing the names had been a bore or bother for him. He sighed as he felt a growling form within. He sighed and shrugged as he locked his arms in, one across his chest the other elbos resting on the wrist as his hand acme over and he could nibble on his index finger as it lay across his face. "But I suppose you can call me "Father"" He chuckled. Tendrils of Sin sprouted form his body, the black addicting and corrupting liquid flying out to combat the tendrils. Sin triggered and he and his tendrils illuminated with a bright light, the presence of Yamm joining in harmony with Sin itself, creating a terrifying living weapon that ould hopefully drive back the darkness and keep the creature at bay.

The shadow tendrils would continue to move about, with eyes that watched over the male that spoke, considering the strange liquid that served as their blood and considering how it would taste. It was Alexander that was a little surprised by what the being was saying, claiming to be the origin of all evil and the reason that all things must die. ”Sin?” Alexander questioned to himself, with eyes wide as he attempted to take a step back from the battle between the shadow entity and his friend who was not claiming both the origin of all evil as well as a dragon king. What had he gotten into? ”No no no, this is getting too crazy.” Alexander thought to himself as he looked around, heart beat beginning to increase exponentially, chewing on his lower lip. A low chuckle came from the shadows as it would slink forward, considering Sin seriously.

”My father eh?” It would ask with an amused tone, one of the eyes turning towards Alexander but not giving him too much attention as they turned back to Sin. The black tendrils would move out without a warning and were met by the bloody tendrils, both seeming to combat one another, giving neither any real leeway. A single tendril of Sin would get through and clash with the shadows body, yet that did not reveal anything other than that the shadow would split and then reform.

Stay calm Alex, don't be afraid. A voice echoed trying to soothe him some. Matt was trying to reach out, despite Sin being in utter control. There was the reformation of the shadow which brought about a whole new thought process. The creature had the ability to reform itself. This was not unsurprising, a toddler with umbrakinesis would easily have been able to accomplish one such thing. He  looked it over, not even needing to scan it over for a weakness. The weakness was identified already, it gave itself away. He allowed the presence of Yam to fade as he ran his hand through his hair and sighed. How delightful a reprieve from being trapped inside the mortal vessel of Yamm as a mere voice.
 
  Sin smirked as he held an arm out. Two crescent blades flew out from under his sleeve, gliding down his skin before they violently snapped together, revealing it to be a bow, Ichavial to be exact. He drew the bow half-assed and let out a weak fire with ten lame bolts barely able to pierce human flesh hurdling back over Alex and The Minister's head and landing as puddles. He then drew the bow back full-bore and fired out at the darkness again, appearing to try again.
 
   I'm deadly only when I'm getting caught Sin thought as he watched the arrows fly out for their target. The tendrils he spawned from his body wiggled and wormed around, ready to move and defend himself or his allies nearby. He stepped backwards and watched every move, and calculated every action he'd take.

A voice would speak to his mind, calming almost but something within him was still fearful, the creeping darkness of being they faced seemed to strike at his primal fear. He wanted to be brave, but even with the desire, his body took that desire and dashed it upon a metaphorical shore. The brilliant blue irises would dart towards the largest of the grinning mouths, one that would smile widely and reveal a tongue that ran over the teeth with a slowness that revealed its intentions and only drew more fear from him like a hand squeezing a cloth. Sin however would summon from his sleeves what appeared to be a bow, one that was two crescent blades made into a ranged weapon, and what it shot he would find out. Black bolts would fly over the male, as well as the one known as The Minister, creating bubbling black puddles behind them and perhaps aiding the male he knew as Matt.

”I'll try.” he thought, nodding as if saying that outloud as his eyes stayed wide, a certain disgust with himmself remaining about being unable to aid in the fight against this creature of darkness. His mind would run over the shadow being, distribution of the shadows and things of that anture, something that would help them with killing this thing. This thing was either some manner of shadow monster, or something was casting it, dim lights allowing it to remain as it was. If that were the case, then a bright flash of light would also serve to temporarily deal with it, and perhaps reveal a possible puppet master. All of this was speculation however, as he was unsure of anything at this point, and his lack of a flashbang made difficult.

More of the Sin arrows would fire out at the shadow mass, aiming to hit it, to damage it and only managing to create holes within it that would fill over,  seemingly unaffected by the Sin that was shot into it. Alexander would watch the fight, and then remember that he was still holding the gun that he had stolen earlier, weapon still somewhat heavy within his hands as he considered what he could do next. The tendrils of shadow would attempt to react, but within an instant Alexander tried it out, aiming the ewspon upwards and firing it off, releasing a brilliant burst of energy towards the mass, lighting up the room with neon blue and for a second leading to what seemed like the source, which was standing behind a large tank like construct.

He was impressed with the male known as Alexander to be sure. The weak, little pathetic runt of a primate was able to grow a pair and fire at the darkness. Sin however had a plan as it as. True enough Alexander's little antics may have proved Sin's theory, he remained diligent in the collection of his data through the means of trial and error. For example the arrows he fired off. Of course they would never manage to damage a shadow. The key was placement. Every failed attack left a puddle on walls, Sin all around, spackling the wall. He restlessly fired out as he turned in every which direction. He spawned tendrils form his back, large ones. Two of them slammed into the ground and extended, propping and raising Sin up like spider appendages with Ichavial aimed, still drawing back and firing at insane rates.

   Not bad kid...stay alive. Sin thought to himself as he let Sin envelop the place. he smiled as he watched, waited and seemed to be thrilled by the prospect that this creature was immortal, indestructible, utterly unhittable. Two more tendrils fired out, detaching from the body, the liquid forming to big puddles when impacting the floor beneath Alex and The Minister.

Sins attacks were spreading across the room, creating multiple puddles of the substance known as Sin and only increasing his advantage, though Alexander and the shadow creature were not aware of this, mostly due to ignorance. Something however told the young male that he would not want the substance to touch him, not if he wanted to remain alive, or whatever. This was enough to keep him from letting it touch him, though with how rapidly it was beginning to fill the room it seemed like he had no choice within that matter, no choice at all. Despite the bright flash, the shadow would begin to reform along the walls, hoping to regain its advantage, blackness stretching out along the walls. The attacks would not daunt the seemingly unhittable shadow monster, bright white teeth flashing hungrily as the red eyes once again set upon the one known as Sin.

More and more the sin would come around him, leaving little room left not filled with the substance. His eyes however fell upon the shadow, which took interest , trying to remember where the shadow had been forced to retreat and his eyes scanning over to one of the medical tubes hoping people, to one of a female with black hair and dressed in a skin tight suit, with strange wires attached to her. Was she somehow controlling this shadow, or was it something more than that? No, that was too heavy of an assumption without any sort of proof and so he would get the proof that he desired. Quickly aiming the gun at the tank that she was held within, Alexander fired off a glowing round at high speeds, hoping his aim was not off enough to actually hit her. However the shot was enough that the shadow quickly moved, sending a wall that took the shot before dissipating.

It was within this instant that some of the black substance landed near his feet and spread out, managing to touch and then soak his feet. A shudder ran up Alexanders spine, followed by a feeling that he could only aptly call euphoria.

So it had begun. Sin smirked and crossed his arms, retreating the tendrils he stood on into liquid and spilling it across the floor. He looked as if he were done fighting, as if he were victorious already, though the threat still lived. Sin laughed as he put his right hand over his eye and broke out uncontrollable laughing. The shadow's assault would be useless. "You made this TOO easy." Sin said with a little drawn out whine, as if he were trying to gasp for air. The Minister looked to Sin and glared, his hand clenched. There was a growl to his voice as he looked upon Sin, laughing it up, making all forms of laughter as if there were no real danger. The Sin touched his boots, and that was when he notices Alexander's bare feet. The Minister let out a long sigh, loud enough to take attention.

"Child, get out of the liquid. Stand on my cloak." He said as he removed his infamous grey cloak and laid it upon the liquid, resisting the substance and even slightly repelling it. "Your friend is certainly a strange one." He remarked, resentment throughout his voice. But Sin didn't wait for the others to continue on, he simply stopped laughing, as if it had just ben the greatest laugh he'd ever had. He wiped a tear form his eyes and giggled a little more before sighing and looking to the shadow.

"You can't...be serious...ehehe...I...I was wrong...wow...this is unbelievable." He said, a little more laughter escaping him before he entirely composed himself again, wiping his eyes again for good measure.

Alexander felt the euphoria wash over him, overwhelming almost as he shuddered, teeth grinding together and eyes narrowing into slits. This alien sensation was enough to overwhelm him, and the words of The Minister were barely heard, and yet he could hear them all the same. It was all unconscious, his stepping onto the cloak and the sin receding from around him, yet his mind was still overwhelmed by the bliss that this substance had caused by touch alone. With a shale of his head, he attempted to get back into the situation as the pale blue orbs would turn upon Sin who had fallen into a fit of laughing. ”Strange? Yeah...he is.” Alexander muttered looking strangely at the black substance, tongue running over his lips as if contemplating something. The shadow would seem to shift for a moment before releasing hundreds of shadowy tendrils, all aimed to slice through Sin.

The shadow failed. At the first spark of movement, Sin had already won. The Sin began to glow a bright white light, The shadow would begin to vanish, and there was truly nothing it could do.  "You pathetic waste of time. You didn't even think twice about the random firing. I outright told you I couldn't fucking hit ya and you just let me go about shooting every wall. Coating it with my essence." He said as he looked to the ceiling, the last recesses of the room, the last place the shadow could survive, the last place shadow was present in the now light filled room. "I left you alive for one reason, and one reason alone. I wanted you to see how tragically you were out-classed, how futile all of you pathetic meta-humans are. There is a great evil which seeps through the hearts of all mankind, tainting their souls and corrupting them in a bliss that is complimented only by their nature. This mortal...This...Matthew... the poor thing struggles...puts up a fight...but in the end I'll consume him too, devour that little dragonsoul he has. Oh well, I've kept you around long enough. Don't worry, you lost to an even greater darknes...one that can survive surrounded in light...one that can corrupt the light. But hey... thank's for playing." He chuckled with a toothy grin, unusually sharp canines as he held up the oh-so familiar scale necklace. The Scales of Sobek, able to amplify any liquid by seven times the amount. The floor's liquid rose in elevation as the walls leaked from being so covered. Sin laughed again, the shadow beginning to turn blotchy and a stray shadow tendril gracing his face as nothing more than a wind. Sin smiled with a glowing red eyes as the room was covered in light, and not a single shadow remained cast. He looked around, knowing full well what was going on... the shadow was not gone, not entirely. IF he let the light fade, it would return and he'd need ot think of a whole new way to berate him. Actually that wouldn't be such a bad thing, he botched that up big time. Maybe he sould let it come back so he can correct what he did wrong... no? oh right no time.
 
  "A-alex...where...oh God my head...where did...the Shadow come from? Break it for me, please." Matthew asked though his head ached and his eyes returned to normal. He sat down and sighed.

(Power Bestowal: Illuminating Sin. Sin is charged with light up to a lv 10 damage to all shadow/darkness/evil aligned characters without this power.) (10 ABL)

Higher and higher the sin substance would rise, a black flood that had begun to glow with a light that cleansed the very darkness that the creature was composed of, forcing it to retreat, but by no means was it dead. They would retreat to their host, to where it was safe until further times that it could manifest again, and to where it could garner revenge upon the one that had bested it. Alexander covered his eyes, and shielded them as best as possible with an arm, yet that did nothing to protect his eyes from the luminescence. His eyes would narrow as the sound of Matt's voice could be heard , though it was different than before, not as twisted, and by no means as malevolent. Slowly the black liquid began to drain away, and left them alone once again, and Alexander with a strange craving, almost sad as he watched it go away. His eyes would then dart to the female that he had surmised was the source of the shadow, the liquid within her tube beggining to fade away, as the glass would part and she fellt out of it onto the ground with a wet thud.

A blue liquid would drain out beside her, black hair arraying like a mat beneath her as she began to stir and prop herself up with her elbows. Alexander considered her carefully as her arms quickly crossed over her chest, and she looked around with a fear within her eyes. She would looked towards the three males, and then stands weakly to her feet, stumbling and falling against the wall. 'She is where the shadow came from.” Alexander said pointing to the female with narrowed eyes, as she still tried to gain her bearings.

"Thanks man..." Matt said as he turned. His arm turned into a tendril lashed out to snatch the woman and rip her over to him where he could glare her in the eye himself. "You have sixty seconds to tell me who you are, and why we should let you live...and I just used ten of 'em." He said. His normal voice wasn't too intimidating, but he was certainly not the kind to play a joke like this. He was nice, maybe even a push over, but he knew how to beat her now...and he was well able to. The Sin melted away and he found himself feeling weak, drained and empty. His tendril's were tight, she was not escaping as Gleipnir wrapped around her. Shadow or not, she would be bound by the mystical item, and should she try to escape past the warning zaps, she would be fried.

Matt's Tendrils retraced, forming a black hand, looking akin to that of Venom from the Spider-man series. He thought that the first time he did it...the tendrils. He thought a Symbiotic being morphed into him. He stood tall and listened to what may have been given, or to silence. Either was welcomed at that moment in time.

The female let out a pained sound as she was wrenched from her kneeling position by the tendril and forced over to the male, eyes still wide with fear. It seemed as if she would expire there from fright alone, but Alexanders mind was not on her, or what was to happen to her. However when his attention did turn towards her, he looked into her eyes and saw....nothing, no real intelligence or understanding what was happening, other than that she understood she was being restrained. These fearful eyes would turn towards Matthew, head cocking to the side as if trying to understand what he was saying, as if she did not know. She would then begin to wriggle, trying to escape from the binds, ignoring the electrical charge that was running through her, not aware of the increase it was taking until it hit a proper voltage and she let out an ear piercing screech.

Her body began to trash as the bonds continued to shock her, blood then oozing from her ears and within an instant she fell slack. She seemed dead, lying within the tendrils that had bound her, even breathing seeming to have ended for a moment as Alexander had finally considered what had happened, she had died. A single crackle of red energy would radiate from her body, and within an instant she would jerk to life again with a breath, looking around once again and then turning towards them. She would open her lips, trying to formulate words but nothing came out, a single tear of pain ran down her cheek. She looked at them almost silently asking why they were hurting her, seemingly unable to vocalize anything. 'I....don't think she can talk.” Alexander said finally.

"I don't think she can die either." The Minister said, standing next to Alex and shaking his head. Matthew turned his head in a deliberately slow manner to the Minister, and subsequently Alex as well. Thank you for stating the obvious. What would I ever do without either of you? He had to wonder that, and he felt bad because Alex was his friend, one who could see and remember him...so he'd probably go insane if he lost Alex, Blair and Shane. He turned back to the girl, his black clawed tendril and dispersing the tendrils that had originally been around her, the black substance splattered all over. Matt didn't know how the addiction worked, and he wasn't even sure if there was anything to it more than people liked it. He didn't think the power would be as strong as it was.

"Matthew..." The Minister said. Matthew brought his arm up, at first it looked like he was going to reach through the ribbon and end her...or try...but he didn't. He opened his hand and the ribbons wrapped around his arm, resting peacefully. The Minister chuckled as he walked past, patting Matt on the shoulder as he passed. "So the origin of Evil has won...but yet you still choose mercy? She raised you well." He said as he walked past. Matt looked to the girl and smiled before walking off towards the Minister's path, towards the exit of the room. His vision blurred, he started seeing doubles and he tilted. He made it to a desk, covered in beakers and surgical equipment. He leaned onto it before a knee buckled and he crashed to the floor, the table falling on top of him, and the equipment cutting him up as he lay on the ground.

The girl fell against the ground, body feeling weak and yet unconsciousness would not come to her, she would curl into a ball and grip onto her head, eyes closing as she trembled for a moment. Alexander however had been surprised that Matthew had not done more, but at the same time he wished that some more of the substance was thrown onto him, biting on his lower lip and following after Matthew. However what he was not expecting was Matthew to fall, slamming into a table and causing its items to fall upon him, cutting painfully into the flesh as Alexander's face shifted into one of surprise. The female would rise from her fetal position, standing to shaky feet and taking in a deep breath.

”So the experiment went better than I had anticipated.” A familiar voice would note, the clicking of heels sounding off within the room. Alexander would turn to see The Mistress approaching them and then reclining against the wall. ”I am surprised however, you actually awoke.” She would note trailing a red nail along the cheek of the female that had fallen from the tube, then pushing her over. ”It is nice to know that my daughter is being taken care of by such gentleman however, especially you Minister.” She noted with a chuckle, then looking over to Matthew who had fallen. ”I have non further use for you Minister, these two however. I think I do.” Within an instant blood would well up from his wrist in the form of a spike, bubbling as  it was send out towards The Minister at high speeds.

"No weapon forged against me shall prosper..." The Minister held up his hand, the spike stopped, and then he spoke those words. The spike faded, pieces were a celestial light as the very weapon, and all attacks against him entered the infinite Void of nothingness. It should have been impossible for him to have made those words a reality without his Bible. This was likely a large surprise, as many times before he had spoken the words of truth and nothing had happened. All evidence pointed to the Bible. The Minister held up his Cross and his eyes glowed a brilliant blue the Bible apported from wherever it had been and now reappeared in his hands. It opened and the Enochian runes shot up into the air as his eyes scanned them over.

    "Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me! O Lord, make haste to help me." The Minister said, and in an instant he had vanished. Gone once more. Matthew's eyes were a brilliant blue as they shifted around. He looked to Alex and smiled a sec before he sat up and looked around. He stood up and cracked his neck. "Wow...that was weird." He said as he touched hic cheek, where the scalpel had sliced him a little. He looked to the Mistress and shook his head. "Well damn.... this is something else." Matt said, immediately recalling the residual sin in the area and forming it up on his body. It transformed, became a black tendril cloak with blood red stoles, and a cornflower blue tattered and frayed poncho like think with a purple sash.

    "If I had known I could do this stuff when I first met you I'd have killed that last thing right quick." He said as he looked to Alex and then back to the Matron/Mistress/Bitch with red hair. He knew he shouldn't have trusted her. "Wait us? what use could you have for us?" He asked as he looked back to Alex and noticed Hrothgar's amulet. He hadn't taken that back from Alex, had he? No wonder his inner world was so calm. He had a theory, and now he had a plan.

”Leave it to him to have a way out of a situation, running away was always his forte.” The Mistress muttered with a roll of her eyes then turning attention to the two males that remained within the room, completely ignoring the female that was now huddled up on the ground. ”I have plenty for use for you.” She said with a smirk, flicking a finger and releasing a small blade of blade one that was meant just to create a small nick upon his cheek. ”You and that blood of yours.” She would proceed to explain simply examining the small amount of black flow from his cheek. ”As for him, i'm sure I could think of something.” Alexanders eyes would wander to the strange apertures at the ends of her fingers, one that seemed to form small vials that lead into syringes, each filled with a different covered substance. ”Now its time I capture my precious subjects.” She muttered with a smirk as tendrils of blood would rise from her arms.
