Midnight Stroll

The moon was rather bright tonight.... Filling up the night sky with a silver light. The city was buzzing with life and movement tonight as well. All sorts of people out tonight in fact.... not all of them very friendly, with one in particular looking for some trouble. Jeisen came out of his lightning form in a dark alleyway. Traveling by lightning was dangerous for him, but it was the fastest he could move. He adjusted his twin blade on his back and hopped up onto the roof. He took off running, hoping to find something to do... anything.

Didn't take long before he heard a cry for help. With a small flash he took off, "jump" to speed things up. He crouched above the alleyway, spotting three thugs about to mug a woman. He hops down and lands directly on top of one, bringing him down to the ground. Moving faster than most peoples eyes can even see, Jeisen lashed out with an open palm strike to one of the thugs throat, a quick kick to the others knee, then a spinning round kick that took both of them down in a single motion.

Jeisen helped the woman up, who then promptly ran off screaming. Jeisen just stood there rubbing the back of his head, wondering what the hell he did wrong

The men in the warehouse stop in their illegal works, twenty two men grasping weaponry and half a dozen heading for the door.

in the rafters where he had been planning the takedown of the group, Specter grits his teeth in frustration... he takes the bow from its collapsed state upon his hip and spins it quickly, extending it fully, snatching an arrow off of his back...

the doors burst open and three men with guns immediately burst out "What you think you doing Fool! You about to get your ass kicked, Bitch!" one shouts at you, waving his gun threateningly...

Jeisen drew a single throwing knife when he heard the movement. When they stopped to talk to him rather than shoot him on sight, Jeisen threw the knife at the three with guns. They immediately ducked and opened up fire, but it was too late.

The knife sailed passed them as they started firing, providing the perfect chance for Jeisen. He jumped to the knife, moving faster then lightning. In a fraction of a second he was gripping it with one hand in mid air. Before they could even realize what was going on Jeisen took them down with ease.


He grinned slyly at the group of men and waved cheekily at them.

Firing the bow and swinging under the rafter, Specter jumps, flinging himself downward at an angle.

the arrow nails the leaders hand to the desk, his wrist had an arrow slam in between two bones... a painful wound that immobilizes its target, but not immediately fatal. Specter has only begun his jump, he flies quickly overtop a shelving unit and draws his naginata with one hand, storing his bow with the other.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" he shouts at Jei, twirling the weapon with painful accuracy, crushing a man's shin and knocking another over with a solid blow to the jaw.

four men spot Specter, and take aim at him, one Uzi, two handguns and an assault rifle begin firing

Nonononononoshit

Jeisen throws two knives at the assault weapons, hoping to damage the barrels as fast as possible. Not pausing for a second, he moves forward swiftly into the thickest of the fighters. A large group of melee fighters surround Jeisen, trying to attack him. Its more useless then flies attacking a bear. In the tight alleyway, no more then five could effectively attack him, and that was nothing to Jeisen

What the hell are you doing? Trying to get killed??

Jeisen calls out to the other fighter. Jeisen didn't know who the hell this guy was but he had to fight towards this archer. Couldn't help him if he couldn't reach him

The warrior takes a few shots, but he only winces at the impacts, his skin is thick, and resistant to most of the damage.

Those will likely need stitches later... he thinks as he stops using his nonlethal tactics, His naginata's blade becomes crimson with blood, slashing every man near him in a flurry of silver arcs, The Specter's form is flawless, dealing damage only necessary to deal with the threat.

One man is slashed across the ribs, he falls back bleeding profusely. Another loses an ear. Yet another gets struck in the hip. The few that escape the area unscathed back away, knowing that in close combat the specter holds the advantage securely.

With the group backing up from the onslaught of the two, Jeisen pulls out multiple knives. He throws them in a wide arc, into the gaps between the people. He takes one step forward before jumping to them. In fractions of a second, he was jumping as quick as lightning to each one and striking, before moving on to the next. Before the first body even hit the ground, he had already made his last jump and was in a crouched position.

He rose from one knee, lightning crackling off his body. When he jumped as many times like that, it took a sec to get his body back to normal.

Every one of the men was taken out... Specter turned to the man who had interrupted his carefully assault...

"Who are you? You interrupted my work.... though your helping sort of made up for it." he admits reluctantly...

Jeisen slowly checks over his knives, looking at the seals he had on them. They were etched into the blades, but he still didn't want to get them damaged. He puts them away in his back pocket and looks over the archer spear guy

I'm just passing through. The hell was up with these guys? And whats your name?

"Any one of these men can tell you my name." He smiles, flicking the blood off of his blade and collapsing it. The silvery white material that composed his clothes shimmers and floats irregularly, seeming to fade into the background, and then come back into focus oddly.. the only part of his face that is exposed is his eyes. Slight trickles of red blood come out of the bullet holes in his midriff.

"These men thought that Tampa was the perfect place to set up shop. They started making trouble, breaking the law. I can't abide that. so I tipped off the police and came in to deal with the majority. They will be here soon" he says as he walks over to the leader, grabbing the arrow, and jerking it out with a twist, Leaving a clean hole in his arm. the arrowhead is a rounded point.

Well then, lets get the hell out of here.... Anddddddddd you are bleeding, you know that right?

Jeisne points to the mans bullet holes. Generally, Jeisen liked to avoid getting shot... but this guy looked like swiss cheese. Not really, but Jeisen has always thought one bullet hole was one too many for his liking. He also took in the whole outfit change, which was kinda weird. That, however, was not a pressing matter for the time being. He would ask about it later if there was time, but cops were not his thing.

You seriously hurt? Or can you move well enough? I can't jump other people generally, but I suppose I could carry you.

The Specter snorts with laughter, "Lets go. I'll meet you at the church, about two or three blocks north of here... While I work on the same side as the police; They do not appreciate my methodology...." he says as he turn and sprints through the door.

"Dude, it was the f***king Specter! I tol you that we shoulda neva come here bro...." one of the thugs exclaims.

Jeisen collects the last of his knives, makes sure he didn't accidently kill anyone, knocks out the guy who was talking and jumped up to the roof. An old church? Again... Not one of his favorite things to be around really. Still, might as well see what this guy wanted. Jeisen was new to the area after all, didn't want to encroach on someone's territory so to speak. He took off swiftly for the church, going from roof to roof as quietly as possible.

It didn't take more then a minute or two before he got there. Gave him sometime to think before the other guy got there. Looked like this spectar guy was a local hero of some sort. Also took some bullet wounds too, but was still standing. So he was durable at least, as well as accruate with those weapons of his.

Not too Shabby Jeisen thought as he leaned against a pillar inside the church, crossing his arms

Specter sprints outside and leaps twenty odd feet into the air, and then pauses in midair, taking a second leap, onto the rooftop of the next building, making running jumps of immense speed and strength... traveling across the rooftops at an inhuman speed, leaving a silvery shimmer behind himself as he sprinted that faded like snowflakes in heat after a few seconds.

Jeisen, seconds after he begins leaning against a pillar, sees where Specter had gotten his name from... his final leap carries him towards the roof, and his body becomes ethereal, passing straight through the slate and wood that had covered the top of the building, just like an apparition of some sort, landing with nothing more than a slight puff of dirt.

"Hmmmm.... you are very fast... of course with your teleportation capabilities..... That is unsurprising. his voice is slightly melodic, and you can hear the slight overtones of another language in the way he pronounces words... English is obviously not his first language.

Teleport? Sort of.

Jeisen shrugged nonchalantly as he spoke. He almost never really explained his powers since it took more time then it was worth. Teleportation was close enough really.

So, spectar right? Guessing this is your area then really. Didn't mean to encroach, just passing through really.

He yawned tiredly at the end.
