Personality:
Shinsuke is a solitary soul. He as become very accustomed with living alone due to is extended lifespan. He isn't a loner by choice type of guy and generally enjoys the company of others. However the passage of time has molded him into something of a detached man. Despite the long life he has lived Shinsuke doesn't bare the wisdom that should have come with it. He is a fiercely tenacious man that can never be steered from his aspirations. Once a goal has been set he doesn't rest until it has been accomplished. Shinsuke is a firm believe of the old phrase " The ends justify the means". For him nothing else matters aside from getting the job done. If it means leaving a a friend behind he'll do it. Because of this many see him as cold or even callous. This cold hearted personality is amplified when Shinsuke dons the ivory mask of Spectre.

As Spectre he is a man of vicious yet contained destruction and deals out his own brand of justice having seen the failings of law at the hands of corrupt leaders. He has seen many battles and fighting is second nature. Due to the violent life he has lived violence in and of itself has lost its traumatic edge. He has become desensitized to acts of violence. Shinsuke is aware of his status as a we he calls a demigod but feels no sense of superiority from it. He feels that his lineage only grants him the means to pursue the cause he has given himself in acting as Spectre.

History: Shinsuke Sarutobi was born in 1847 to a young loving Japanese family. He was an only child and lived a rather normal life. He grew up idolizing his father wanting to be a soldier much like him. to prepare him for the path he has chosen Shinsuke was enrolled in a local kenjutsu school and taught the ways of the blade so that he could one day serve his Emperor. When he was old enough he served in the Boshin War of 1867. It was here that he discovered his powers as a demigod as he had managed to survive what his field doctors diagnosed as mortal wounds. This has occurred multiple times during the war. After the war was over Shinsuke attempted to live a normal life away from conflict. However this wouldn't be thanks to the dissolution of Samurai and the uprising that followed. Shinsuke fought with his comrades hoping to keep the way of life he'd always known in tact. unfortunately the battle was lost and Shinsuke was left without a job and branded a traitor he fled the Empire and hid in China. While in china Shinsuke laid down his sword and took up the martial art of Kung Fu hoping to become a Shaolin Monk.

He eventually achieved this goal and studied for many years in the Shaolin Temple taking in their teachings. After Many of the monks took notice to his youthful appearance despite the passage of time Shinsuke faked his death in order to continue living without suspicion. He remained in china and opened a Kung Fu Dojo teaching children the skill she had learned many decades before and leave whenever he became too familiar a face among people. He continued this cycle until Japan's occupation of China during World War 2. He initially rebelled against the soldiers before switching sides to join the Japanese Army. Thanks to his change in allegiance Shinsuke was taught how to use firearms and learned Karate. The battle was unlike anything he had ever seen before and changed his view on the world. He came to feel ashamed of the side he'd sided with knowing of the atrocities the Nazi allies had done. Knowing this he once again switched sides to join the Allied Powers. He became a spy for the allies and used his skills to sabotage many Japanese plots. His cover was blown during one mission and Shinsuke was sent to the firing squad for treason in which he was "executed" and left for dead only to rise from his death and resume assisting the Allies. With the end of World War 2 Shinsuke was left with a void in his life. Over a decade of fighting had passed and he wanted more but the Cold War never escalated.

He participated in the Korean war and made an attempt at a family once only to realize that such a commitment was not for him. he had become too used to living on his own and moving on whenever he got bored or needed to. Families just got in the way. The Vietnam war was a welcome conflict that helped him forget about his troubles adjusting to normal life. It was during the war in Vietnam that he realized its futility and the corruption of man. When the war was over he took some time reflect. during this time he studied Ju-Jitsu and perfected the other martial arts he had picked up. After twenty-five years of training Shinsuke moved to the US and blended into the country and attended college shortly after overcoming the language barrier. He graduated college with a Bachelors in Engineering. he didn't participate in the Gulf War feeling he could use his talents for a betting cause than killing for politicians. he became a mercenary and fought for causes he believed in. He acted as a guerilla soldier where-ever he could and discovered his ability to manipulate light itself. His impressive skills earned him the nickname Spectre. He began to go solely by that name and created an entire persona to go with it. After awhile Shinsuke Sarutobi ceased to exist leaving only Spectre. That was until Shinsuke met one of his brethren, another descendant of Amaterasu. Until that encounter his was still unaware of his lineage and why he had the powers he possessed.

His distant cousin revealed everything to him going so far as to mention the names of his birth parents, people only known to by those whom lived over a century ago. He took in the mans words with a grain of salt but they eventually clashed as it turned out the man was a target on one of his mercenary jobs. Shinsuke killed him by cutting off his head learning of a possible way he could meet his own demise. With that he continued to travel the world practically unphased at the murder of a relative, after all family was just a burden in his eyes. Since then Shinsuke has traveled the globe taking on any job he can find in order to provide justice to those in need. He has no allies or mortal enemies though there is nothing saying that can't change.

Powers:

Demigod Status: Shinsuke is the descendant of Amaterasu, the Japanese goddess of the Sun. However due to Many centuries of breeding has polluted the bloodline thus filtering out many superhuman abilities. However Shinsuke's blood line does still grant him powers in the form or superhuman speed and strength. His other powers include:

Accelerated Healing/Durability: Another result of being a Demigod cultivates in Spectre's accelerated healing ability. This allows him to heal from wounds in a relatively fast manner depending on the severity. (As explained in EP Healing Factor Chart). This ability also causes him to age at a much slower rate than normal human beings. This is why he appears to be in his mid to late twenties despite being nearly two centuries old.

Mixed Martial Artist: Over the span of his life time Shinsuke has learned and mastered multiple methods of arms and unarmed combat.(Felt I should mention this even though its not a power)

Roleplay Sample: Spectre held his katana firmly in both hands. he knew his target was close by, he could feel it. The warehouse he was in was ablaze and threatened to collapse at any moment. Despite this impending threat Spectre didn't flee. he'd fallen into the clutches of death many times before and its ghastly grip could never hold him. Even if this place did collapse he'd manage to survive. Suddenly a sneak attack was launched. Spectre's target was upon him wield a sword of his own looking to get the upper hand. Though he had skill he was no match for Spectre's experience. Spectre was going easy on the guy in order to keep him alive, after all that's what the contract required. He played with the man for a bit before disarming him and landing a devastating uppercut on the man's jaw. He was out cold before he hit the ground. Poor soul, he tried but he just wasn't good enough. Spectre lput away his katana and lifted the man over his shoulder and headed out of the warehouse before he lost his target to the fire. Once outside he turned on his commlink to his current contractor.The Target has been retrieved, Spectre out. With that he quickly fled the scene before the authorities showed up.

I love the app though i have to point something out. You have light manipualtion and accelerated healing. Which means you'll have to split your ep among them. 2 ep for light manipulationa and 1 for healing. I dont think thats enough for those powers . but i may be wrong

well i reduced my speed to 3 to make the EP 4 so that would split evenly for both powers right?

hmmm i suppose so though i think you need at least 3 ep for a manipulation power

hmm well i can drop a point in my fighting skills i guess but if i do that then i lose the multiple fighting styles right?

do you need 3 int? if you dont you can just drop a poin on int and move it to ep. Just a suggestion

nah i guess i don't i just wanted to give him a decent head on his shoulders and give him some brains that wuld allow for him to be pretty much an expert mechanic. I can stil lmake that work without 3 int.

With several EP powers, you need to divide the EP. Having a Light-bending power and Regeneration power, you'll need to specify how many points go into each. The lower you go with Light-bending, the less duration it will last, due to your incapability to control your power. Or you can remove one.

Your regeneration wont be rapid if its only 2-3 points of EP.

ok got rid of the light manipulation power and an mentions of it in the rest of the profile. I decided i didn't really need it.
