Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
Fox groaned a little, his ears were ringing, likely would for sometime. It took all his concentration to make out what she was saying.
-uuhh high frenquency waves, disorientation, balance issues, temporary hearing loss
He swayed a little, carefully getting to his feat, his tail offsetting his balance. She was almost as badly beaten as he was. He could see scratches where his claws were.
'Maybe,' he leant against the car, 'tell me why I shouldn't just call the cops, you and I can keep going until we're unconcious, and then they can drag you off.'

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
"You've seen what I can do. Do you really think cops can keep me incarcerated?" Her words lacked no untruth; Bliss and her powers could open any lock or locking mechanism so a prison could hardly contain her. She brought her bag over to her body with telekinetics and brought out her cell phone. She pulled out the SIM card and put it on the ground. "I give you this. I keep the drive." Her leg still wouldn't move in the way she though it should, but she started to exert some control over her arm. "Do you really want to waste this perfect day doing paperwork?"

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
Despite the phantom noises echoing in his skull, it all suddenly clicked in Micheal's head.
-She never had the data or the drive! But she thinks I do!- Micheal chuckled, there was every chance the SIM wouldn't lead him anywhere, but the flashdrive would. It contained a special 'gift' from him.
'On one condition, then you've got a deal.' He looked her in the eye, 'After you can walk, remove yourself to the airport. Get out of my kingdom.'

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
Bliss tried moving her leg. She blew a loose strand out of her face and dropped her eyebrows down. "Fine." The flash drive would give her what she needed, and all the SIM card contained were phone numbers and outcalls to Ashley. She continued massaging her leg, trying to get some feeling back in it. "It's been a lovely day Mr. Fox, but I should be getting to my business."
She lifted herself up and limped to her car. The windshield stayed intact, along with the passenger side glass, but the rest of the car looked damaged beyond repair. She threw her bag in the passenger side seat and started the car up.

Fox helped Bliss up and into the car, 'you'll excuse me if I insist on escorting you to the airport.'
He pocketed the SIM.
'If you'd be so kind as to drive to the park, so I can grab my bike, I think I might be able to get you there faster.'

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
"Yeah, I'd assume that.." She responded to him in a cordial fashion.
She pulled around to the bike and waited for the Fox to get out. "Are you going to be okay to drive? I hope I didn't hurt you too bad." She pulled out her phone and dialed up Ashley.
"Whats going on Bliss." Ashely hadn't heard anything since Bliss hung up prior to the fight.
"I need a ticket to London. Sooner is better." Bliss spoke into the phone.
"Okay Bliss. If that's what you want." Ashley hung up, as Bliss grabbed her bag and walked over to Fox.
"I guess you giving me a ride will cut down on a great deal of complications. But of course you're not doing anything to truly help me out, or I would assume."

'Nope,' Fox held out his paw, 'I'll take the other simcard too, heck I'll take the phone, it's murder finding a dual SIM around here. Consider it payment for the lift.'
After that he handed her the helmet he used earlier, 'strap your bag over mine. Falling off a bike after this would be one hell of an anticlimax.'

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
Bliss tangled her bag with Fox's. She placed the helmet over her head and placed her hands around Fox's torso. "I'll be sure to give you a call sometime in that case." She laughed at the anti-climatic comment. "Is that type of phone expensive?" She asked in an honest tone. Bliss rarely took care of the logistics of missions; Ashley would flip sh*t when she discovered Bliss lost the phone.

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
'Maybe,' he slid the phone into a pocket on his left thight, his tail curling protectively around Bliss's waist.
'Now hold on, this fox is gunning it.' The engine roared, Fox ducked down, the wind whistling from his fur as he pulled out. People stopped and stared on the sidewalk, more than one tried to take a photo. He couldn't wait to get home and see what people had posted on youtube.
After several tight turns at changing lights he pulled onto the freeway, moving out of the city gradually, wind parting his fur and blowing off dust, dirt, glass shards and drops of blue liquid, which by this time had satined nearly all the fur on his right arm.

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
The duo began to travel out of the city. Bliss felt the tail wrap around her waist, as she let go of Fox's waist and began to hold the tail. "I'm not one to judge your sense of direction, but I seem to believe this isn't the way." She spoke loudly into his ear. The blue liquid from hi suit leaked onto to her clothing and entrenched itself in her fabric. The liquid felt cool against her, but also gave a tough textured feeling against her skin. She began to feel very uneasy about the situation.

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
Fox chuckled, and despite the high speeds took a hand off to point as one of the overhead signs, which listed which lanes people be in for the upcoming one. Even if the helmet's tinted visor made reading hard, the was no mistaking the sihlouette of an airplane painted on it.
'Melbourne has two airports, I'm taking you to the larger one,'
-It's also more monitored- he though silently as they pulled off, 'I don't suppose you know which airline you'll be using?' He pulled off the freeway and down the short road to the airport. You could already see warehouses and shipping buisness lining both sides of the road and up ahead, the 3 terminal buildings, he knew off to the right was a newer, smaller, cheaper 4th terminal
-Tiger Airways- He shuddered at the thought.

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
"No, I'm really not sure what airline I'm taking." Bliss suddenly felt the weight of her laptop against her thigh. "I have my laptop, so I can always check," hack, "the ticket counter and check," more of the same, "when the plane departs for London. I hope the layovers," new targets, "aren't too long." Security seemed high, but reactive to events that she long since moved past. Is she wanted to she could easily knock off the camera system and make her way to anything in Australia. Out of habit she began looking at cameras and glass objects and imagining what her escape would look like. Now was not the time.
She threw her leg over the side and stepped off the bike. She retrieved her laptop and flung her bag across her back. "Well, I'll be off now, without you of course." She turned her back and walked off towards the terminal hoping no one actively followed her.

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
Fox smiled and waved Bliss off, 'I'm sure you'll find a way, you seem pretty reasourceful, shame you're on the other side of the law.
He reved up and pulled out of the airport lane, but before he did he banked aroudn again and entered the short term carpark. He found an out of place corner to take off his make and tail, grimazing as feeling was returning to his torso.
-Let's just make sure you're with the law on the way out- He smiled playfully, plugging in a larger keyboard to his phone. The airline registry computers were one of the first things he'd broken into when he started building his surveillance network. Monitoring who came in and who came out of the country was useful. As a side obstruction he'd added customized security measures to make it harder for anyone to break in. That way they'd have trouble finding him too.
While Micheal waited to see if she would try anything. He opened up another window and booked a flight, for the company he decided to be generous, first class, back to the city from whence she'd came, under the same name. He then made sure no trace of his bank details remained on the system. As an after thought he made sure a note was sent with the tickets.
'In Australia, I am king, let your employer know that this country has it's own protector, the down-underdog, the Antarctic Fox'
-damn I love being dramatic-
(say an epilogue post each and call it there?)

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
The familiar surroundings of the airport hub greeted her, as she strode to the ticket terminal to scan her fake passport under the name 'Judy Hernandez.' A ticket popped out; marked for London with first class seating. Bliss walked to a payphone and snapped the mechanism that counted the change dropped in. She hit the number for Ashley's cell phone.
"Don't call my phone anymore." She placed the phone back in the receiver and walked towards screening. She traveled light, meaning no pistol, so security screenings passed with no incident.
The terminal lobby opened up to the windowed wall overlooking the runways. Jets came and went and the sun continued to shine on. She took her seat and looked over the ticket, catching sight of the note. Cute. She thought to herself. She remembered back to the lab she broke into and the formula written on the wall. A smaile came to her face. "I won't be needing to come back to Australia, you fantastic Mr. Fox." She looked into her bag and pulled out the shirt she wore that night and looked it over. She had written out the formula on her shirt that night. "No one ever checks a thief's luggage." Even though she lost a phone and needed to cut her beach vacation short, this would do. Wondering what the flashdrive drive contained she pulled out the net-book Ashley gave her and plugged it in. Her hard drive began to smoke, conjuring a perturbed look on Bliss's face. She pulled the drive out and flung it over into the nearest trashcan. This will make the flight more tedious, and will be one more thing I'm explaining to Ashley.

Re: Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)
A beep sounded, the ticket's status had changed to printed. He wished they weren't clever enough to put the Airport's CCTV on an isolated system, no connection for him to hack.
-Oh well, i'll make- An icon popped up, the tracer on the drive, a moment later the connection shut down. Fast. Too fast even to unplug. -That's one way to avoid being traced- He sighed and had to clutch his side. It was time to go home.
His put his helmet on, and pulled away, he had a lead, the phone numbers. He pushed aisde the thoughts of pursuit. Micheal weaved through the early morning traffic and pulled into his garage. The bike shifted into a slot where tools unfolded and began retuning the bike.
Micheal stripped off his jacket and dumped the gym bag on a desk. Along with his jacket. He took a moment to examine the cooling tubes on his arm, noting the damage from the glass, sighing, 'that's gonna take some work.'
After tapping a hidden panel on the desk, Micheal pulled a cable from the desk and connected it to a port inside his headpiece. There was a click, and several wallpanels moved to reveal monitors of varying sizes, each illuminated with data and video from the night, collected and stored inside the helmet.
He peeled off the cooling suit and laid it on the desk too. 40 minutes later, bandages encircling his torso, Micheal sat down at the desk, glancing up at screens while he started pulling glass out of the motorcycle jeckt with some tweezers.
Several of the monitors were tracing the phone numbers and calls from both the SIM and the phone, while others correlated data from the suit and timed it to the vudeo and audio. He didn't like what it showed. Llike or not, the superhuman fighting had come to Australia, and he wasn't nearly as prepared as he'd hoped.
Something caught his eye, he dropped the jacket and tapped on the desk. A keyboard glowed on the surface and he split the monitors, one showed time when the car windows blew, the second showed the time wwhen he was thrown at a tree.
-Cool sectiosn 3 and 4 report a dramatic pressure rise for a moment, audio reports 90db for a moment. Pressure of wave of 96- His fingers danced across the keyboard as more numbers appeared, calculations and graphs appearing before he stoppe murmuring. The theory worked.
He opened up a bottle of coke for celebration sipping it.
'Computer open a new design file, title..' he paused and smiled, 'ARFE'
