Down Under the World (Villain Wanted)

'Japanese for one, ogenki desuka?' (How are you?) 'I'd like to ask some questions in a less... dynamic environment?'

Micheal paused, 'that can happen one of two ways, first is you stop and get out. Second is I stop you, can't really garrantee your health them. Oh and please don't try escaping, I've got acceleration and agility, and no limiter on my speed,' he chuckled, 'fuel is waaay too expensive these days.'

"A car chase does seem a bit cliche." She answered back into the phone. "And very dangerous with an Asian girl behind the wheel." She gave a chuckle into the phone. She put on her blinker and made for the off ramp. "I guess you can follow me then. We'll talk in a public place." She eyed a public park ahead and made her way to the parking lot. She grabbed the bottle of wine and got out of the car. She waited for the man to pull up beside her.

'Micheal parked next to the car, opposite the woma. He easily swung off of the bike, his tail straightening out to keep his balance flowing back down as he straightened before swaying slightly with each step.

'A moonlit night, a bottle of wine, fine chocolates, what say you to a nice walk before we sample these delights?' he gestured to the paths. the light running off his helmet.

"I guess you never know what a bottle of wine will do to you." Bliss shook the bottle in her hand. She looked the man over, still confounded by his appearance and demeanor. "You're a very odd specimen. I really don't know what to make of you, and that's saying something. You don't look like government, and you don't act like a footpad." She took him up on the offer to begin the walk. "I really hope your not some kind of perverted furry guy. I can deal with quirky, but that's over the line."

Micheal's jaw twitch inside his helmet, but then he just burst out laughing.

'Haha, oh lord,' he just couldn't stop chuckling, 'how little you know. I'd have thought any professional would've picked up on the local gossip,' he inhaled for a moment, and exhaled to calm down.

'No, I'm not some 'perverted furry guy,' he started walking around the car, reach up to undo his helmet. It had taken a while to perfect this mechanism, but it saved time, was covert, and saved on bag space.

Claws scraped lightl across the hardened resin of the helmet, lifting it off, gradually showing a muzzle covered in white fur, two grey eyes staring back from under ears that twitched free from the confines. A black nose sniffed the warm air.

'I am the Antarctic Fox, and now that I grabbed this little thing off you, I'm be taking you back to the AFP (Australian Federal Police), unless that walk's still on offer?' He took out of his pocket the flash drive that held the files. He'd used the device code to determine the model of drive and bought a copy. He hoped the darkness would disguise the fact that it was new and that the bluff would hold long enough to get her to reveal where the real drive was.

Fox looked down his muzzle into the girl's eyes.

Bliss burst out into laughter. "You're going to take me to jail." She continued to laugh through the comment. "If you want to go for that walk, and that might be in your best interest, than I'll take the time to indulge your interest." Bliss started to walk towards the walking path. She let her hair down and brushed it slightly with her fingers, before tying it back up. "I missed the local lore, so do all members of the FP dress like you, or are you interested in foxes?"

Fox shrugged, 'I wouldn't know, I mean in a sense it's flattering having all those people admiring what you are. Guess it's how models feel.' He walked after her, his long stride catching up quickly.

'But I try not to associate them, from I hear on the net thay're a bit...odd ball. A hero's got to keep a clean record after all.' His tail swayed in the opposite direction of each step as he sniffed the scents in the air.

'But enough about me, is crime the only thing that brought you from Japan to this little island I call home?'

"Yeah, I came from Japan to do some sight seeing." She looked over to the flashdrive. "Have you looked at those files yet?" She slowed her pace a little to make his stride more uncomfortable. She looked back at the tail moved back and forth. "Is your tail fighting crime, or are you just happy to see me?"

Micheal pocketed the flashdrive, 'Nope, not yet, might look at them, might not. It's none of my buisness really and I'd rather be enjoying a good barbeque,'

He shortened his stride, It was a little awkward but reminded him of walks he'd had with his sister. He chuckled as he tail picked up and she noticed, 'I'd swear it has a mind of it's own. Maybe it's the moonlight, or the company,' he looked her up and down, a playful smile on his muzzle, 'or it might just be happy to be stretch fully. Who can say?'

The walkway came out of the tress and brush to show a large artificial pond. Pipes peaking out of the water hinted at a fountain, although it was currently off. On one of the islands in the pond several black swans could be seen sleeping.

'Now i'm afraid in all my haste I never caught your name,'

Bliss walked up to the pond and swirled the water with her hand. "I'm Bliss." She sat back and put her hands behind her to prop up her back. "I do have to commend you Aussie's on your interrogation skills. This is without a doubt the best interrogation. If I confess to murder will take me to a steak house?" Bliss leaned back and flashed a smile. She thought about the past few weeks of events and how they transpired.

Micheal stood back, the suit was pretty much water proofed, but it took ages to dry and smelled in the mean time. Still he was close enough to react should she try anything.

'Convince me you did it and I think we can arrange something.' He looked down at her smile, 'I'll confess, i'm tempted just to let you leave, but I'd miss the chance to see the look on your boss's face when he finds out you ddin't succeed,' he let out a chuckle.

'the way it plays out in my head is just priceless.'

Bliss brought her hands to her knee and gave a little laugh. She stood to her feet and put her wrist together in a gesture of being tied together. She pouted her bottom lip and bashed her eye lashes in a pseudo-maudlin fashion. "If you want to see my boss's face, your looking at it. Is it truly priceless?"

She dropped her hands to her side and resumed her smile. The severity of this situation sat at the side of the dialogue hidden beneath a veil of subtlety. "This has all been fun, and I love your choice in dates. You know, I even love the way you choose with whom to have our relationships, but I believe I should be going, Mr. Fox." She brushed her hand across his chest and strode away.

Micheal let out a murr of pleasure, smling, 'It has indeed been a pleasure,' he turned and caught up with her.

'But what sort of gentleman would I be if I didn't escort you back to your car, and my bike.' His tail twtiched every so sligthly faster.

"I don't know if you're constant attention is enduring or annoying. So I guess I'll indulge you a little longer with my presence." Bliss walked through the man made forest and took in the beauty around her.

Her phone rang. "I guess I never took the battery out." She gazed over to Fox and then brought the phone to her ear. "Hello beautiful."

"Bliss, the files are blank." Ashley spoke in a perturbed manner. "I decoded the lines of coding and they're all blank."

Bliss hing up the phone and starred severely over at Fox. "I'm going to need that flash drive. Please." She hung the word 'please' out in a very juxtaposed way.

Micheal took the drive out of his pocket, 'this little old thing?' he rolled it in his fingers, not for a moment betraying the storm of questions in his head.

-But they're blank?-

Despite his brevity, he was still pondering this, it was a touch confusing, and the only person with the answers was right in front of him. Time to put his game face on.

His hand closed around the drive and he moved around until he was in between her and the path to the car park, which could be seen as they had almost made it back.

'I'd pass over the phone,' he countered, 'Federal prison can be lonely, maybe Ashley can join you.' His grip on the drive tightened, his other hand reaching slowly for the taser generator that was on his belt, mostly hidden by his jacket.

The move that Fox brought against her brought the subtle danger to a very real place.
"I don't think anyone in this entanglement would like that."
She readied herself against anything that would fly at her. His stride would outmatch her own in a short distance, and getting into her car would take too long. She waited for the any opportunity in which the flashdrive would open up to her, but Fox appeared very protective of it.

"I rather like this phone, so you'll be needing to get one of your own." She placed the phone in her bag and slung it around her back. "I'm beginning to get that awkward sensation that comes about when you've overstayed your welcome; I believe you should be feeling it as well." Her escape with the drive seemed distant at this point, but it could prove to be the safest bet.
