Broken Wings: Blood Bath
"You have no idea what you're walking into." The deep, robotic voice rang lowly from a black figure in a tree above. The branch he stood on was very large, supporting his entire weight. He looked to be in his teens, though his exact age couldn't be gathered from just looking. His costume was all black with dark aqua accessories. It sported what seemed to be carbon armor plates from the chest to feet, all leading up to a full mask that looked to be made of the same material as the armor. The mask had a single visor-like lense, and horizontal vents at the mouth which sucked in and cleaned the air around him. And with all that, it was put together with a dark cyan cloak, with no hood.
"So confident, so damn heroic. You can't do that with these people, you have to hold back, make your moves carefully." The male said, dropping from the tree and landing on his feet, the suit seemingly taking the fall. He pulled two pistols from his holsters, clearly advanced ones from the look of them, and followed Sean as he likely met up with Zell. He kept to the shadows, but he knew he would eventually be seen. He might as well make a good impression now. And that's when he heard it, the explosion. And seconds later another went off, right inbetween him and Apex. The unknown vigilante was blown back into a tree, groaning as he hit it but he was mostly unaffected. His visor had taken most of the stun but it was still wigging out, a minor EMP maybe? He didn't have time to think, the Rise members lead by Gravitas were closing in to get Apex, Zell, and now him. He shot a line from his gauntlet and zipped into a tree, gripping guns tightly and moving slow until he found a target. This was going to be tough.
"Broadcasting on Talons frequencies, this isn't what you think it is. It's a trap! I urge you all to fall back." Phoenix and Tyuki were likely too far away too hear it, and the others likely wouldn't listen, but he had to try.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Zell arrived at the scene and landed down next to Sean, unaware of absolutely anything going on. He shook his head at Sean as he turned and began to scan the area. This didn't feel right. At all to be entirely honest. He felt like he was being watched. Though that could have been Sean still staring at him with those damn puppy eyes. He wanted to punch that guy sometimes. The best part of a gay relationship...you were able to beat the fuck out of the other person at any given moment and it's literally just "rough-housing".
"There's someone out here. At our six." Zell said before an explosion went off. Zell immediately turned around and looked at the only person here able to blow things up at an instant. "That doesn't mean blow him up!" Zell said, his modulator keeping up with his tone and pitch rather well. Judging from the look on Sean's face though it didn't look like he had actually done anything. Zell didn't catch the whole thing but he could have sworn he saw a grappling line fire out. It wasn't long before he could make out a figure in the not do distant future that had two pistols in hand. Zell on the other hand was not on the Talon's network, he simply said "Screw the rules I'm Donald Trump and I have money."
"Stop. Who are you? What are you doing here?" Zell asked before his scanners recognized the armor. This was Aqua Marine, he was a Canadian hero alright, but none of them were seriously stupid enough to trigger a mine. This guy was not experienced at all...and Aqua Marine was very skilled. Sort of...well he didn't die yet with a stupid name like that. "Aqua Marine?" Zell asked as he started walking over to him, then using his thrusters to shoot up into the tree. Zell motioned for Sean to stay put a small bit before walking over to the wounded warrior and then discretely using his hologenerated creation to make two very menacing pistols and placed them right against the stomach of the man.
"Okay, he has a very stupid name; but the fact he's still alive when everyone wants to kill him for it is more than enough proof that he's far from inept. Now it's true...I'm not a lethal kind of guy...but I can't promise the same for pain. Who are you, and why are you here...and why would you want to dress like Aqua Marine?" Zell said, the last part being a slightly exaggerated question. As he asked his visor was looking up the status of the suit's regular host. Apparently he was admitted to the hospital. So however this guy got the suit...it was good on him.
"A.P.E.X, can you secure the immediate area?" Zell asked before turning back to the man, dismissing the pistols back to whatever place they had come. "You gonna be okay?" Zell asked as he looked to see if anything punctured the suit, or caused any apparent injury.

"Powers?" Was the only thing Gravitas asked as he looked to the present triplets. Ink herself came back and handed something to Gravitas, which he took with a nod. Ink then turned around and began examining the members herself, formulating theories on the power sets each member of the Master's clan possessed.
"I hope you can move past the incident at the yatch and actually kill these people. I need a job you know." Ink said, though it was obviously angled to Gravitas, whom seemed to simply ignore her this time. She responded with a fraction of a second looking worried, before straightening herself up and walking back to the door.
"We need to focus on taking down A.P.E.X. As it turns out his greatest weakness is rather accessible at the moment... Actually... I believe I can handle this. If you'd like to stay, feel free to watch." Gravitas said as he pushed off the wall and started walking with a stride that seemed to pulse with pride, anger and irritation. Quite honestly he sounds as if he were making light of this situation, though immediately his hand moved and he began to walk out the door. He had the look of a man who was done playing games. Unfortunately...he wasn't really a man at all. At least not in his own eyes. "I'll take care of these myself..." he gruffly sneered as he walked a short ways.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Sean never really understood the number based way of saying something was coming from somewhere. Not like knew how a clock worked or where he was in relative to the clock, leaving him confused more than anything else. "Our what?" That was punctuated by an explosion, which he totally did not cause and that meant that someone was making things explode for whatever reason. Sean hated traps, always more annoying than anything else. "Well I didn't blow him up." Sean said with a roll of the eyes, letting Zell check up them in the way that he would as he sort of thought over the transmission. Looking back, it should have been obvious that this was a trap but then again hindsight was a bitch that way. Something about securing the perimeter was mentioned, which likely meant that he would have to look out for explosives and things like that.
"Secure the area, got it." He said with a nod, and going to do just that, Likely there were a few more explosives around, so he would have to deal with those. Honestly it felt more like an annoyance than anything else, and something told him they would have to deal with more than just explosives, so he had to prepare for that too. So that was what he did, going about trying to deal with any explosives around though that mostly chalked up to him getting blown up because they were pretty well hidden. Still, he was pretty sure he got most of them dealt with as well as creating a few large craters. "Area is secure...probably." San said dusting himself off and offering a little salute.
--
"Are all the explosions really necessary?" Alpha questioned to himself outloud, settling his mask over his face as Gravitas made their leave. They were dealing with heroes, likely annoyingly wreckless heroes and yet they were not to be trifled with. Underestimating an opponents always lead to one making stupid mistakes, and in turn one ended up being defeated. If Lucius wanted to be honorable, well he could keep his honor but Alpha preferred tangible victory to honor. So he made use of strength in numbers, despite his own confidence within his strength. "Eta, Zeta, Delta move into positions. We have our targets, and we're going to deal with them quickly. I don't want any mistakes here." He said, voice mechanically filtered through the visually simple mask, letting Solitaire do their own thing.
Burying his hands into his pockets, he stepped through the door of the cabin, the land around them something that he owned. True, it was through an alias but it was his anyway. He knew what he had to do, and so that was what he would do.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
It seemed like the crew was heading out now. Vexus gave a light sigh and stood up from her seat and making her way towards the door. Lucius had already taken off in his car with some impressive speed. When the two of them hit the track she would need to make sure to bring the heat. Vexus tossed her keys to her body guard.
"I'm assuming if this vehicle stays here, it's going to end up being used as a battering ram. A very expensive battering ram. So would you be a doll and take it somewhere safe. Make it back here as soon as you can." she said with a smile.
"Yes, m'lady." he replied politely. They had a quick exchange of items in the house. Vexus handed her General a silver ball about the size of a baseball, and he handed her black sunglasses which she slipped on immediately. The body guard made his way outside, fired up the car and went back the way she had come. He would eventually head back in a full out sprint since it would not be possible for him to teleport to her side like normal.
The small silver ball that he had been handed was composed of Technomatter. Once the General was a safe distance away, he threw the ball out of the window into the sky. From there Vexus would allow it to float up into the sky to expand and form in with the clouds making it almost entirely undetectable while it multiplied up in the air.
Elena was one of the last people to leave the cabin, and from the sounds of it someone else wanted to take on Sean. More power to them. She was in absolutely no rush in fighting that individual again. Vexus also had no complaints in being back up. Her plan of attack was already in motion, so if the gang required her assistance all she needed to do was wave her hand. She would stay in the background of Gravitas, Alpha, and their counterparts keeping an eye open for opportunities to overwhelm the opponent. Elena was nearly positive that if Phoenix or Sean caught sight of her, she would not be out of the battle for long. Then again, there would not be too much they could throw at her that she hasn't seen already. The time was upon them to break the wings of these Talons.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Solitaire swung his boots onto the table, the house of cards half built. When 'Dr. Dressler' arrived he wasted no time chastising Solitaire's genetics. Solitaire responded by not responding. He simply kept putting cards onto the house. It looked like he didn't need to reply, as both Lucius and the other Rise head he'd never met before did so for him. Hopefully putting the Dr. in his place. If he brought it up again, Solitaire promised himself he'd shove his doctorate straight up his a- Gravity man began talking strategy and who they had to take out first. Then he mentioned he could probably handle it himself. Solitaire lifted his legs off the table.
"You can handle this? Well that is just excellent, here I was worried I'd have to get my gloves dirty."
He stood up as Vexus was leaving and left his house of cards poised perfectly on the table. He pushed his hat back down on his head and stepped outside. The cold air wrapped around his body and he sighed, moving to the side of the cabin. He leaned against it and folded his arms. He was awaiting Gravity Man to, as he said, 'handle this'. Some would call him cowardly or lazy but he'd say he doesn't believe in doing more than's necessary. He reached into his coat's pocket and removed a cigarette before holding a three of clubs to the end of it. The card's edge erupted into a small pillar of fire and engulfed the tip of the cigarette. He let the card burn to cinders and took a drag.
He looked at Vexus and his eyes squinted slightly. He walked over beside her. The suspense in the air was so thick that you could cut it with a knife. It was the peaceful moments before an all out battle. The calm before the storm. The hot, tense air before the blood starts flowing and lives start to end.
Solitaire took a drag. He removed the cigarette from his lips, eaned in Vexus' direction and spoke quietly.
"That dress is terrible. Pleasure to meet you, I'm Solitaire."
He chuckled before putting the cigarette back in his mouth and offering one to the Villainess.
Gravity Man said he could feel free and watch, and he was going to do just that.
Him being hungover had absolutely nothing to do with his choice, he promises.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Apparently the guy in the exo was a little worried about his 'injuries', and he also seemed to figure out he wasn't the original Aqua Marine in about four seconds. Well that was perfect, the male under the suit had hoped that part wouldn't have been revealed so quickly. Regardless though, he was fine and this changed nothing. He stood up straight and as strong as he was able to, and looked the man in the lenses.
"Can't tell you who i am, i think you can understand that given your perceived profession. But i can tell you, Aqua Marine is fine, probably glad his tech is being put to good use while he is away. Anyway, this isn't terrorists, this is Rise......." The mysterious hero said, leaping from the tree and landing once again, the chassis taking it also once again. He walked with confidence, and wasn't going to be persuaded to leave just because the guy said he had little training. Apex was the one who set off the bomb anyway.
Holding the two pistols straight up, he walked into the newly secured area, addressing both Apex and the curious man in the suit. He had little intention of fighting this conflict to it's end, he was here for one thing and one thing only, and if The Talons called their forces back that made everything all the more easy.
"Look, they out number your half reformed group by A LOT, a whole army could be waiting for you. Fall back, or this will be a Blood Bath." The man said, just as he heard several people moving toward the area. He pointed his pistols outward, ready for anything. Or, at the very least, to get away and get to what he wanted.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
"Why am I not surprised?" Zell said in response to the revelation that this was rise. "We're on his land. Travis you piece of shit." He groaned as he turned to look at Sean, seeing that he had a little salute for Zell. Zell just shook his head and smiled behind his mask. Goofball was all he was able to compose in his mind before turning back to this man. This wasn't Aqua Marine, but whomever this was obviously had a reason to help. What was it? Unlikely a good Samaritan, though those did still exist. Was it vengeance? That was probable. Rise had a lot of enemies. Gravitas alone just leveled the 14th most populated U.S city after all. Then there was Red, who murdered peoples mothers for a pass time. Then there was Vexus, who was always a top contender...but she tended to keep secretive. Zell was not looking forward to this. Despite her villainous status he and she were generally in a mutually beneficial relationship. Alpha was just a dick. He wasn't even really an evil person. He was just a dick.
"Rise isn't the only one with an army." Zell said as he started to look about. It was faint, but the sensors of his suits were picking up a very, very quit person approaching, footsteps barely making a noise. It was easy to mistake it for birds truthfully. In fact, even with his intellect and training...and all of his technology...he wasn't entirely certain it wasn't just his paranoia altering his perception of the sound. What a funny thing the mind is.
"You're purple." The mystery man informed Zell. Zell looked down to see a faint purple glow over him, he immediately felt his eyes widen and in a rush of adrenalin he grabbed the arm of the mystery man and pushed him off the tree.
"Get away! APEX!!" Zell shouted as he pushed the man. Knowing Apex capabilities he didn't think he'd have too much of a problem making sure the man kept himself alive. Then again if he were half competent he might be able to grapple away and land with minimal damages. Zell's suit began to drift from the log and into the air, his body aimlessly spiraling as he flailed about.
The suit then stopped and dropped into the ground, rose up into the air and smashed into the ground again. Then it rose a bit and then fired off to the right, bashing through a tree before crashing into yet another tree. Then he went left and crashed through another one, then two and then a third one before he was wedged half way through the fourth.
"Measure speed of rotation and force." Zell grunted from within his suit. The suit took a great deal of punishment, but Zell was still inside it. The concussive force was easily felt in small doses. The suit began to show a small 3 dimensional looking map that traced and coursed out his previous movements and gave the designated speeds. Zell was being thrown about like a rag-doll at over 500 kilometers per hour. The sheer force behind it was intense, making it quite obvious why his hyper durable exosuit was beginning to break and shatter off, revealing some of the skeletal frame. But the onslaught wasn't done yet. Soon he was ripped form the tree and thrown backwards, crashing into a large, jagged rock, then thrown into the ground. He attempted to engage his thrusters, but was dragged back towards the group, smashing his head and his body flipping as he helplessly left a human sized trench in his wake, his own thrusters were used against him.
Finally he was back with the group and being rag dolled again, circling in the air and smashing into the ground at a regular interval, left, right up down, forward and back before finally he was jackhammered into the ground again, this time the speed picked up to over 1000 kilometers per hour, one two three four, the punishment wasn't over until he was smashed into the ground twenty times and tossed back casually. The suit landed, the arms involuntarily pulsating and jerking around and sparking. Wires and flesh were exposed.
Zell coughed from under his suit. his emerald eyes opened as he began to see through his screen again. The vision was all kinds of messed up. His physiological and anatomical monitoring system showed him as being overall okay...but that might have been the moderate concussion he had at the moment. He groaned as the diagnostic list displayed his malidies.
Meanwhile, trees all around began to fall like dominoes as a circular clearing was made, and leaving the Talons and company in the open. The open space was rather massive to be honest as trees began to topple almost systematically.
Mild to Moderate Concussion. Traumatic Epistaxis. Femur fracture, abrasions on the arms and leg. Hairline fracture of ulna-sinister. Internal organs operational. Suit inoperable. Heart rate accelerated due to scary rollercoaster? The last part was met only with a sigh as Zell dropped his head and closed his eyes. He opened them again after a moment to notice he was now right underneath the tree he had been wedged into...and the upper portion was glowing...and he was rising into the air, helpless. Zell attempted to activate his thrusters again, but words displayed across his screen.
What part of "inoperable" don't you understand?!?
Zell quickly tried to move in order to press something, but the tree was coming down with twenty times it's normal gravity. The leaves of the mammoth tree mashed to the ground with a loud rustle and but a second later was a loud BOOM of the tree smashing into the ground. The sound of metal crumpling and snapping was heard faintly under the sound and vibrant display of splintered wood chips and fragmented tree flying about.
When the trees were all down, however a man in a black cloak was standing there with his arms folded, a single finger moving left to right in synergy with the trees toppling.
"Oh...I'm sorry. Was that your toy?" The voice man asked. Further investigation of the wide clearing would go to show that this man himself was actually now in the center of the clear, and the talons were actually a little inward from the edge. "I'm sorry. I think I broke it....wait... I hate being made a liar of. Let's just...make sure." Gravitas said as he lifted his hand, clutched his fist and violently yanked back. The large rock from before and a rather generous chunk of earth came barreling forward even faster than the rag dolled exosuit, crashing through the tree and sending the exosuit rocketing out. As it flew, Gravitas brought his hand to the side and spread out his fingers, the suit dropping to the ground as his feet with blood stains all over it.
"There...that seems about right." He said as he placed a foot on the area of the suit that would have Zell's neck in it, pressing down. "Quite comfortable...though I wonder if he can breathe. If he can't I wouldn't expect him to fight back. He's probably not even awake." he said casually as his cloak seemed to whisk in the wind.
"Not that it matters. I'm not moving. You can't change that." He taunted Apex, his words dripping like venom as he recalled the events in the city. Gravitas was so sure he could destroy Apex. He was so ready to try. So ready to succeed. He would put down this Agency abomination. Once and for all.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Things looked to be going fine, that being until something about Rise was mentioned. Sean blinked, trying to recall where he had heard that name before and coming up with nothing beyond that before Zell suddenly turned purple and began to get thrown around like one would throw a ragdoll. Then came nothing but absolute shock as he tried rto figure out what exactly was happening before his eyes. Perhaps one fo the Rise members had managed to telekinetically grab onto him or something like that, however that did not mean he knew exactly how to stop them from doing what they were doing. He rapidly looked around, trying to find the source until what looked to be a man in black made their appearance, Gravitas. Seeing the broken state of Zell after that onslaught, somehow managed to...well dredge something up within him. Like magma an anger rose within him, feeling as if it would burn him from the inside out.
"Not moving? That's fine, I don't need to move you to kill you do I?" his words were venom, dripping from his mouth acidically. "Was really hoping I would get to fight Lucius, but you'll do." That was when he increased the strength in his legs extensively, allowing him to shoot himself forward far faster than the usual. Faster than the blink of an eye even, his goal was of course to slam into Gravity Man as hard as he could, maybe break a few things while doing so and throwing him off.
"Well, looks like my jobs getting done for me. This really was a massive waste of my time." Alpha noted, watching the fight from a distance, arms crossed over his chest and looking to the ones that came with him. "Well, you three do whatever you want. I'm returning to the cabin." he said with a casual dismissive motion as he...turned on his heels and walked off.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
As she was leaving the cabin, the man who had constructed the house of cards was close behind her. Once they were outside he gave her a weird look. She looked the other way as her General drove off. Even so he still approached her and deiced to comment on her dress. She gave him a disgusted look, and took the cigarette. Elena turned and began walking to where the action was happening. She threw the barely touched cigarette on the ground and stepped on it as she walked forward. Vexus could only assume he had no idea who he was speaking to. Poor thing would learn in time.
Things were most certainly kicking into full gear. Someone apparently by the name of Aqua Marine was trying to warn the Talons of the Rise trap. However it was clearly too late for that. Gravity Man had gone in at full force. There was some poor man in a mechanical suit that was simply getting trashed. Vexus took a good hard look at the robotic armor, and could have sworn she recognized the work. And just then it hit her.
"...Is that... Zell!?" she said to herself under her breath as she witnessed his entire being be tossed around like a wet noodle.
"Oh, shit."
This Gravity Man was showing absolutely no mercy. Hopefully he didn't kill him, Zell would be no good to Elena as a corpse. Well, he probably would. No doubt would be far more cooperative. Unfortunately though he was still the enemy. She wouldn't focus her efforts towards him, it appeared as if Gravity Man had things covered in that department anyways.
Zell had been leveled, but Sean was still roaring and ready to go. While Gravitas had his foot on Zell's throat, Mari's Son wound up for an attack. He seemed far more blood thirsty than previously. Right as he seemed like he was going to spring forward at the Rise member, a large, three layered magic circle appeared right in front of Gravity Man and launched a devastatingly powerful blast of lightning straight at Sean. Elena planned for the attack to fire at the same time that he took off towards Gravitas, making it incredibly difficult to dodge.
Vexus would then walk towards Gravity man, stepping over Zell, and then standing next to her fellow Rise member.
[color:8505=ff0099]"Just saying hello here, Sean. Nice to see you again, darling." Elena said, waving to wherever he may be.
She then directed her attention to the man on the ground. Elena pulled her sunglasses down slightly, suspiciously keeping her left eye closed when looking at the mechanical suit.
"Zell? Is that you in there? I didn't know you played with this Talon kids. Shame on you. At any rate, try you best not to get yourself killed. I'm sure there is business that we'll need to discuss." she said incredibly casually. She then took a seat on the fallen tree and placed her long black coat over her legs.
"My apologies, Gravity Man, I didn't mean to interfere. You can continue."
Vexus was sporting an incredibly nonchalant attitude with this conflict. These Talons were so woefully outnumbered and outclassed. Gravity Man seemed to have things under control for the time being. Elena only needed to sit back and take notes. There were still some aspects of Sean's powers that she still was curious about and this would be the perfect opportunity to observe. It was always so incredibly difficult to study someone's abilities while they were trying to kill you. Now, watching them try and kill someone else? That is a learning experience and Vexus would most certainly capitalize on it.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
The woman's face crumpled up like a bulldog chewin' a wasp before she took a cigarette between her fingers. Didn't take long for her to throw it on the floor which brought an unnoticeable roll to Solitaire milky white eyes. Tough crowd. He crushed the neglected cigarette into the ground when he moved to follow Gravity Man to the show.
Solitaire hopped up onto a branch and sat on it like a sofa. He brought one of his feet onto it and let the other leg dangle. He put his cigarette in his mouth and began shuffling cards between his fingers with impressive dexterity. When the man in the metal suit was thrown into the air and to the side and into the air and to the side and into pretty much everything in the surrounding area, Solitaire's head followed him. Whoever the sucker was they were being given one hell of a rodeo. Even Solitaire's eyes grimaced at the sound of the metallic screeches when the large rock was sent dragging across his suit, shredding the metal like an apple's skin. Solitaire's fingers just kept shuffling the cards, swinging his leg back and forth gently, almost in tune to the sparks vomiting from the mechanical armor.
When the other fella who was with the metal man saw what'd happened to his buddy, he got enraged and lunged straight for Gravity Man, but was rudely interrupted by an attack from the Dame who Solitaire wanted to tame. She was making deals with the enemy and would rather make money from him than have him killed? Maybe they had a lot more in common that he had previously assumed.
A smirk grew across his pale skin, platinum blonde hair blowing in the gentle breeze. In the background he heard a loud but distant explosion.
"Let's hope Red and the other guy's fight goes as... embarrassingly well as this one."
Solitaire chuckled, put his cigarette back into his mouth, leaned back against the tree and resumed shuffling the cards at blitz speed.
Suppose all that was left was for Gravity Man to kill the pair of them. Easy day at work today.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Ok, so it looked like Mister Nice Guy I'm Worried About You But Still Don't Like You Because Aqua Marine Shit systematically got his ass handed to him by Purple Grim Reaper. So, Aqua Marine decided he didn't want to suffer the same brutal fate and retreated, or should i say went after Travis to further push the worf effect. Guns in hand, he hauled ass and grappled out of certain failing damage death all until he caught up to Alpha. The little rat was leaving his party of brats, probably to be a wimp and to fuck off in the cabin. Typical Travis.
Aqua Ma- fuck this, the app reveals it's Drifter, i'm a son of a bitch yadayadayadayad fuck you. He knew Alpha would see him coming with one of his lame telekinesis applications, so he just bolted toward him from behind and activated his sonic thingy to hopefully make Alpha lose concentration science blahblahblah you know this already. He then, with passion and sorrow and a bunch of other twilight stuff in his eyes, attempted to shoot Travis in the ass with both pistols raised, and then shove kick him into the dirt. He would of course follow this up by using his water sprayer to electrocute the Rise head, just to keep his mind occupied for that much longer. Drifter was ready for the likely telekinetic blast that was going to be sent his way, so as he threw attacks, namely the sprayer one, he pointed his gauntlet into the air to quickly grab onto a tree to flee from the metahuman, or whatever the fuck Alpha was. Yes this is complete rubbish, yes i am drunk at four, and no this does not ruin the thread so just laugh and carry on. Have fun reading the app. After a Large Rock, it's hazzy and stuff, meaning no i'm not using it. Carry on carry on.......
Ps, me actually going crazy will make the Drifter goes crazy plot even cooler, right?

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Gravitas would note that Elena Vexus had saved him the hassle of having to intercept A.P.E.X, though truthfully such intervention was not needed. Though she made herself relevant once more by walking in like a goddamn Anime antagonist. She began to talk to Atterrius through the suit, though Gravitas only groaned as she talked. "Engaging the enemy doesn't insinuate doing so in conversation." He said nonchalantly as his head lowered and tilted at the exosuit.
"There's nothing in this suit..." He said before his head turned up and he held out a hand. An incredibly fast beam of light fired out, catching right in the middle of his gravity field as the elongated beam turned into a highly compact sphere. Looking up he made a little grunt, his foot glowing purple a little before it crushed through the exosuit's skull, revealing it to in fact be empty. The source of the beam came from behind the tree, a massive bowling ball sized hole was through the wood, leaves had caught fire and the edges of said imprint had been smoldering. A sharp whistle and hiss of flames and steam came as a cloaked exosuit jumped over the large tree and landed with two glowing green hologram-manifest weapons in hand.
Zell had used the time he was being lifted, before the tree fell to eject himself and get out of dodge. To have another exosuit at the ready was rather good planning, Gravitas had to admit.
"Miss Vexus. Looking as stunning as ever I see." He said casually as his head turned to Gravitas. "But for the record...I don't play with the Talons. You guys just so happen to come to my country and mess up my rose garden." He said holding out the gun again and firing at Gravitas. Gravitas flicked his hand and the second beam was caught as well, forming into a compact sphere. With a clap of his hand, the two spheres sparked with a violet electricity and merged into one, before the edges began to glow purple and the sphere itself shrank to the size of a pencil tip.
Hey, Can you hear me on the comm system? Zell asked from the safety of his urban assault suit. I hope so, because when that thing fires out it's coming in hot and it's going explode everywhere. He said before engaging his thriaters. Gravitas turned his wrist and flicked the sphere, sending it out at speeds faster than the sound barrier at Sean and Zell. The explosion upon impact would branch out at least thirty feet diameter, clearing all things in it and leaving the ground charred, uprooted and burnt.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Alpha continued their walk, hands buried into their pockets as he could hear the sounds of combat behind him. There was the sound of gunshots as well as something loud, lancing pain sharply through his ears as something seemed to bite into his….ass. Following that was him being pushed to the ground as the pain continued to flow through his hindquarters, muscles then locking up as he was electrocuted. The next thing was all a manner of primal action, as his telekinetic power wrapped around him in a swirling vortex before being released outwards in a pulse. If Drifter was hit by this within his current armor, it would likely break something but not kill them.
Sean however, found himself being swatted off course by a shitton of lightning., forcibly face planting into the dirt as he rolled a bit before managing to push himself to his feet. Shaking his head off, and dusting the dirt off of himself, Sean’s eyes darted towards the sound of Zell’s voice. ”Oh right, he’s good at the whole planning ahead thing.” Sean said, mentally facepalming at actually doubting Zell didn’t have a plan. Cracking his neck, Sean..took notice of something loudly booming in the distance, turning his head towards the sound momentarily. ”Okay, glad I am not in that fight. Ummm yeah I can hear you. What exactly’s coming in hot anyway?” He said, before turning his attention back to an….explosion hitting him in the face. It stung like a bitch, but Sean had been sure to have the xenogens fully on the defensive, so at best his clothes had some pretty bad looking scorch marks.
”Okay...ow. That was what he meant.” He growled, silently thankful he had thought of the infusing his clothes with xenogens to avoid the whole nudity thing. Well, it looked like he had a few burn marks on his body, second degree but pretty nasty looking ones at that. They mostly appeared to cover his arms, some around his neck and cheeks as well as his legs. ”So going to kick this guy in the balls now. Over and over again, don’t really know when i’ll stop. Probably when he’s Gravity Woman.” Sean then began to mutter to himself, thinking over how one would would deal with some gravity manipulating asshole. His body was already beginning to repair itself, but that would take a minute.
Really wishing I was that one bald guy from that one show right now. He thought to himself, darting forward with the royal jewels in his radar. Should they increase gravity, he would avoid it if possible or make use of his xenogens to decrease his own personal gravity, forming a field which allowed a sort of specialized movement within. Decreasing the pressure of the power just enough to allow him to move, even if not as fast, and should they decrease the gravity, well he would caused the xenogens around his feet to form a gravitron boot effect. In the end it was all the same, that being ways to get him closer to punching that Gravity Man.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Sean was knocked around by her attack a bit, but no real damage had been done. He seemed dead set on saving Zell, killing Gravity Man, or a healthy combination of both. Gravitas did not seem to appreciate her brief conversation with Zell. Elena knew better than to jeopardize a mission of this caliber, but the two were mutual beneficiaries of each other so it was only polite. He was a still quite the gentleman despite his current situation.
Off in the distance there was quite the explosion. Vexus was sitting in the direction from which the blast rang our. She adjusted her glasses analyzing the energies given off. The one was familiar, the other she assumed belonged to a Rise member she was not yet acquainted with. Sounded like things were much more interesting over there, she had no complaints with her surroundings, though.
Gravity Man launched an attack towards Sean and Zell that went off in a very large explosion that leveled everything in about a third food radius. Elena removed her sunglasses, keeping her left eye closed, and began to wipe the lenses clean with a soft cloth she had by her chest.
"I'd make a comment about not ruining my glasses, but that would just end with another comment about our mission from you, so I'll leave it be." she said sassily as she slipped her glasses back over her face.
Hm, clouds are starting to roll in. I'll be able to contribute a little more in just a moment... she thought as what looked like storm clouds slowly began to come into view above them.
With both Gravitas and Elena here, Sean was in for a world of so much more hurt. Whether or not Gravity Man would want to cooperate with Elena was a different story. From her sitting position she daintily pointed two fingers at the incoming Sean. Single copper colored magic circles began to pop up all over his body, these would begin to pull earth up from underneath him and attach to his body like a magnet. The rocks and dirt being pulled onto Sean's body would continue despite his inevitable attempt to shake them from his person. If the rocks latched onto him faster that he could remove them, eventually they would build up into a giant sphere that Vexus would hoist up into the sky. Gravity Man would be free to do as he pleases, even if his attacks would knock off some of the destabilizing pieces of earth, the magic circles would continue to appear and layer more on. Ideally, he could use his abilities to add pressure and condense the rocks on his body even further to add more weight. Vexus is familiar with Sean's abilities and Gravitas would more than likely need Elena's assistance if he wanted to put him down in such a way that he would not get back up.
She was rather curious on what was happening with Lucius and the birdies he was facing. Oh the entertainment value that she would find in watching Pheonix get knocked around would be nearly priceless. Once this whole conflict ended she had an idea of what to do with their headquarters. Elena had not been there personally, but she was sure it would make a lovely office building. They would need a massive explosion over here soon. Keep the Talons on their toes, have their leader wonder and worry. Are his teammates safe? Are the heroes going to win? An evil grin snuck its way across Elena's face as the two super-powered beings knocked around the heroes.
They can't win.

Re: Broken Wings: Blood Bath
Solitaire crossed over his legs and sighed, shuffling his cards with his eyes closed. He pulled his hat down and took another drag on his cigarette. Apparently the suit had been a bluff or the man had gotten out of it. Who even was he? 'Eh. Solitaire didn't care, he wasn't being paid to ask questions like that. He folded thre cards into increasingly complex shapes. Gravity Man fired a blast at the pair, which filled the air with a red hue and a flaring heat. His hand reached up and held his hat on his head. The orange tip of his cigarette pushed inwards, flared by the heat, burning the cig up. He let it drop out of his mouth and let out a whistle.
The sound of the explosion muffled the bullet that flew into Alpha's ass, meaning he didn't even think to go assist.
Vexus did some thing with the ground and Solitaire leaned back against the tree. He resumed folded the cards into intricate shapes and sighed once again.
"As fun as this is' his voice was dull 'I'm gonna go take a little dander over yonder."
He flipped his leg over the branch and landed onto the ground. He began walking before his body scattered into a few hundred cards. They seemed to vanish in to thin air. They reorganised themselves near a tree at the fight between the other four. He leaned against the tree, a few hundred feet away and watched. Between the pillars of flame and the grosteque creatures their fight seemed much more interesting.
It seemed he'd started watching the show just in time to hear a blood curdling 'pop' of the Angel's wings being twisted and dislocated. His face scrumbled and he began shuffling cards.
He'd feel sympathy, but sympathy was for honest men.
Would the others need his help? Probably not.
Gravity Man said he had it, and he didn't seem the type to lie.
