The Looks |
Moving on to clothing, ever since Sabrina was brainwashed as used by “the program” she has under gone a bit of a style change. Whereas before, Sabrina used to wear a variety of bright colors and very casual clothes, she now sticks to wearing darker colors, and more refined clothing such as jeans, and long sleeve shirts and jackets. Out of fear of unintentionally freezing someone, Sabrina will always be wearing a pair of gloves. In a sort of way to cope with the pain she has endured and a way to try and forget about all the atrocities that she was forced to carry out, Sabrina has cut her hair very short. Moving on to her combat gear, Sabrina has put together a very impressive battle suit composed of a light weight Kevlar and small armor plating in various places, mostly covering the upper torso area. The suit is adorned with various holsters for a plethora of handguns, knives, and ammo, including a small assortment of homemade explosives, the Sabrina has crafted herself, including a toxic grenade, cryo grenade, and incendiary grenade. Aside from the basic's amenities, The helmet to the suit is what really stands out. in a vertical strip going down the center of the mask is a bullet proof polymer that acts as a one way mirror, to protect her face as well as her identity. the most distinguishing feature of the mask is located where the mouth is. adorning this area is a fake yet creepy looking row of sharp teeth aligned in a fearsome smile. The helmet also comes equipped with a variety of sensors and a heads-up display. Despite not really having a use for the suit any more, Sabrina still wears it, when on assignment. |
The Legacy |
Personality: One could say that Sabrina is shy and reserved. She likes to keep to herself and isn't very interested in being close or getting to know anyone. This is brought on by her separation anxiety, since her father was never around and her mother passed away while Sabrina was still a child, has left her with the fear of being abandoned by someone else. So she tends to distance herself from people. These feelings have been further reinforced by recent events in which Sabrina was brainwashed and used as a tool to hunt down and kill rogue metahumans that “the program” was unable to. This includes her own father as well, which has left Sabrina full of grief and gilt. Gone but not for good
History: The Past is the past
Recent and unfortunate events. Will things ever go back to normal? The Program tried on many occasions to ‘deal’ with Sabrina’s father, but had failed every time. Eventually they began to grow restless and began to explore several other avenues of possibility, in an effort to bring the rogue down. This led to the discovery of a viable weakness of Sionas’ but every time they were close to bringing him down, he would disappear into the wind. Sionas posed a very high security risk to the Program, as he had stolen all their research when I broke out of one of their facilities several months earlier. With the threat of Sionas leaking very valuable information about the Program and the government’s involvement, the Program was pressured into dealing with their creation. After several unsuccessful attempts to bring down Sionas, the Program decided to go about their elimination in a different manner. Instead of sending in random agents or waiting for their target to surface they would shift their attention to the one thing that he was incapable of resisting. The Program’s attention shifted to Sabrina, as they realized she was the best weapon they could use against Sionas. This led to the Program, kidnapping Sabrina and subjecting her to intense program of neural reconditioning and the necessary experimentation that would make her the perfect weapon against her father and any other persons of interest that they might have. They suppressed her personality (Smiley), and reprogrammed her to be a tool in their efforts to deal with their mistakes. Sabrina was never released back into the public, instead in order to make sure all the reconditioning and experimentation would hold, the young girl was sent out on various missions as a cold blooded assassin, with the express purpose of killing or bringing in any targets the Program had interest in. Sabrina proved to be flawless and successfully completed all of her assignments without fail or complication. All their hard work paid off, and now it was time to put their newest project to the ultimate test, the true purpose for all their efforts, the elimination of Sionas. Eventually Sionas made the conscious decision to see his daughter, and in doing so, sealed his fate. When the two finally came face to face with one another, Sabrina carried out her orders to a T and froze her father solid, before shattering him into a thousand pieces. The Program immediately swooped in and collected what they could of her father, and took Sabrina back to the facility they had been holding her at. Several months passed since Sabrina was forced to kill her father, and since that day, the Program had continued to send her out on assignment. What they were unaware of was the fact that all their reprogramming had been unraveled at the exact moment that Sabrina killed her father. A combination of the guilt and sorrow caused Sabrina to eventually go against her orders and escape when the Program had sent her out to detain another target. Sabrina slipped away for good but knew she couldn’t go back to her old life. Sabrina now wanders the constantly looking over her shoulder, and trying to appropriate herself into society, in an attempt to forget the horrors she was forced to endure and carry out. |
The Powers and Weaknesses |
(All characters can be as powerful as they want, as long as they are balanced with proper weaknesses.) Powers Power 1: Photographic Reflexes and Memory- Sabrina has the ability to absorb knowledge instantaneously. This ability is linked to her muscle memory, allowing Sabrina to instantly replicate the physical movement of peak-level humans. Using these "photographic reflexes", she has become highly skilled in various forms of combat, as an exceptional martial artist, a skilled swordsman, a deadly accurate marksman, as well as displaying a strenuously honed athletic ability. Once Sabrina has mastered an opponent's physical movements, she can then predict her opponent's next attack. This can also be applied to any book or information she comes across which has allowed her to retain all the information she learned while she was in college despite never completing. By viewing a video in fast-forward, Sabrina can learn to replicate human movement at near-superhuman speed. However, this puts her already frail body under intense strain and can only be used for short periods of time. Power 2: Accelerated Healing- Another inherited ability gained from her father is an increase to her body's natural healing rate. This allows her to recover significantly faster than that of the average human, and given a reasonable time to rest, she has the potential to regenerate whole limbs. The serum given to her father granted him longevity as well, to ensure the government could get as much use out of their secret weapon as possible, as a result Sabrina has also inherited this, and is a contributing factor as to why she appears younger than her actual age. Power 3: Complete and total Ice Manipulation- Sabrina has the ability to generate, manipulate, and control Ice, granting her complete and total control over the substance and allowing her to completely bend it to her will. The Ice that Sabrina created has a similar hardness and durability to titanium. Using this unnaturally hard ice, Sabrina can form various projectiles, shields, and other constructs that she can utilize in combat. When used to form weapons or projectiles, the ice’s sharpness with allow it to puncture and pierce through standard steel. Sabrina has also become immune to subzero temperatures. Special Techniques Storm call- With Sabrina’s impressive ability to control and generate ice, She can use her power to summon a localized hail storm that is capable of raining down razor sharp shards of ice. The storm cannot be summoned indoors, but does effect a range as large as a full city block. Physical buffering- Sabrina will use her ability to control and generate ice, to form a set of gauntlets and boots out of her sturdy ice, to buffer the damage she can deal out with her punches and kicks. Ice Nova- Sabrina will draw in and super chill the air around her, causing a cloud of frost to form all around her. Sabrina will then unleash all the super chilled air outwards away from her body, causing it to flash freeze and coat anything in comes in contact with in ice, in a twenty foot radius. (Pc permission required). This ability can be used in two ways, one to freeze and capture any enemies she may be facing, or it can be used to freeze her allies in the sturdy ice to shield them from harm. If used to shield her allies, Sabrina will immediately release them once they are free from harm. (Side effect. If a PC enemy isn’t flash frozen, then they are slowed down.) Body of cold- Sabrina’s body temperature is extremely lower than that of any normal human beings, this causes the air around her to be significantly cooler than it otherwise would be. This also grants Sabrina the ability to freeze or cool down anything she has skin contact with. Weakness(es) Weakness 1: Double time, one time!- Even though Sabrina possesses the ability to replicate movement at double the speed by watching a tape in fast forward, she possesses no enhanced or super durability. Thus whenever she performs an action at double the speed she puts a ton of stress on her body. Prolonged use of this ability with fatigue her greatly and make her extremely sluggish afterwards. Weakness 2: This magic stuff really sucks- Sabrina’s Accelerated healing is unable to repair any of the damage caused by a magic spell for a duration. If she sustains a life threatening injury at the hands of a magical attack, then she runs the risk of dying, as her body will be unable to start repairing the damage until a later time. Weakness 3: Fire, a weakness? Who would have seen that coming- Despite Sabrina’s ice holding impressive durability, when exposed to extreme heats, the ice’s durability will begin to degrade over time causing it to become weak and brittle. Weakness 4: There’s no use for a storm indoors- Sabrina’s summoned hail storm in only able to be used while outdoors. Weakness 5: Its gotta be lightweight- In order for Sabrina to actually be able to fight and move around with ease while using “ice Buffer”, the gauntlets and boots are formed hollow. They still possess impressive durability, but are susceptible to breaking much easier than any of Sabrina’s other constructs. The buffers are only able to survive striking a target regardless of what it is, up to three times before they will shatter. Weakness 6: It’s getting a little hot- Even though Sabrina’s body constantly cools the air around her, prolonged exposure to extreme heat, will cause her to suffer some fatigue, making her sluggish. Weakness 7: Don’t you dare bring that up!- Because of all the atrocities Sabrina was forced to commit while under mind control, she has had a hard time coping with what she’s done, especially the murder of her father. Because of this, any mention of the acts or even his name will send her into a sort of shock like state, leaving her momentarily paralyzed with guilt, anxiety, and pain. This leaves the poor girl defenseless for several moments, allowing her opponents to get the drop on her. RP Mechanics -longevity: Sabrina's advanced healing factor keeps her looking younger than her actual age, and gives her an abnormal life span. -Jack of All Trades: Because of her power, Sabrina is a master hand to hand combatant, marksman, swordsman, and athlete. -Battle Suit MK II’s Weakness: Because of the suits many small and intricate pieces that are loosely fitted together, there are many vulnerable spots in the armor that leave Sabrina open to getting stabbed, or impaled by shrapnel. -CQC tech: Built into the gauntlets of the suit is a pair of nine inch retractable wrist blades. On both arms is a generator capable of making a shield out of solid energy. however, due to its small size the generator can only function for a limited time. Sabrina has also built in a set of high voltage tasers into the palms and finger tips of the gloves, these also run off the small wrist mounted generators. Sabrina's suit also hosts a plethora of belts and holsters giving her a place to keep - 2 Socom pistols with a laser/flashlight combo - 1 small combat knife with a built in stun rod -1 Heat blade: A Sword with a heating coil running through the middle of the blade, allowing it to heat up and cut through most things with ease. This runs off a small generator in the handle that can only be used for short periods of time. Prolonged use could cause the sword to blow up. - Homemade Cryo grenade, incendiary grenade, and a toxic gas grenade of her own design, which causes uncontrollable laughing and hysteria. she only has enough room on her belt to carry 2 of each grenade type. -1 grapple gun. -EMPs: The wrist mounted generators double as detachable EMP bombs. -CQC Tech weakness: A lot if not all of the tech worked into the gauntlets of Sabrina's suit are powered by the two small wrist mounted generators which means excessive use during combat can short circuit the generators causing them to fail and become useless till Sabrina has a chance to recharge or repair them. Also because the generators are mounted on her wrists it means they're exposed to a the impacts she makes and takes from throwing punches and blocking blows, making them absorb a lot of the shock which leads to them breaking down quicker. -Multi Vision helmet: Sabrina's helmet has a built in variety of vision modes, ranging from infrared, to night vision. The helmet is also EMP proof as it's the only piece of equipment she utilizes the most. The Helmet also has a built in camera, this is not only so Sabrina can remember previous encounters with people, but also acts as a way to collect data on the various fighting styles she might not have been familiar with. Personality:
Sabrina has a split personality she is partially unaware of. It refers to itself as Smiley and often appears to her as a hallucination that she tends to converse with, unaware of the fact that she's talking to herself. This is attributed to her loss of memory from her power, making her forget about the grim figure she occasionally runs into. Smiley also tends to have a mind of her own, often taking over at the worst possible moments. Smiley fights with no regard to Sabrina's welfare and is an egotistical narcissist with a dash of psycho. Making her a terrifying and lethal problem to Sabrina and those around her.
After being blocked up and caged for nearly two years, Smiley has become even more volatile and unpredictable that she was before. She’s taken to showing unmatched cruelty and cunning to anyone and everyone. Smiley is a brash and enigmatic trickster, cold blooded assassin, and brilliant scientist rolled into one destructive package.
History:
The Past is the past
When Sabrina was initially caught by The Program, she went into a state of shock so to speak. In these early days of captivity, it was Smiley that The Program’s agents, scientists and operators had to deal with. Seeing as how Smiley was wildly unpredictable and an outright threat to everyone in the facility where she was being kept, the first part of Sabrina’s conditioning was to suppress Smiley by any means necessary. In order to ensure that Smiley was out of the picture and that Sabrina was one hundred percent controllable, Smiley’s dominating personality was locked away and caged deep in the recesses of the young woman’s mind.
When the mental grip on Sabrina was finally broken do to her murdering her father, the lock to Smiley’s cage broke. Ever since that day Smiley had been slowly regaining strength and consciousness. Everything eventually came to a head in Dubai when Smiley finally made her comeback appearance.The Powers and Weaknesses

Items/Minions
Smiley’s Battle Suit: AKA Skull Face
-Like Nothing you’ve ever seen before! – Sabrina is an extremely intelligent woman, a testament to this is the battle suit she designed and built herself. This being said, nothing Sabrina does can compare to what Smiley is capable of when it comes to any of the sciences. In this instance Smiley has once again one upped Sabrina, by completing a suit of her own. This technological marvel uses the living metal of an alien species as a base. Through a series of trials Smiley was able to create a synthetic version of this metal as well as a metal control system which allows her to have the metal on her at all times while also keeping it concealed.
Skull Face Utility 1: The synthesized metal that Smiley’s suit is composed of is naturally in a liquid state. When activated, the metal spreads all over Smiley’s body. The suit completely covers Smiley from the neck down in a form fitting thin layer of highly durable metal comparable to the strength of reinforced titanium. When suited up, the metal forms in such a way that it masks Smiley’s sex, and thus makes her appear male and a little bit more built that she actually is. The synthetic alloy is ultralight weight and Allows Smiley a great deal of protection and flexibility.- Utility Weakness 1:
Skull Face Utility 2: The synthetic metal is composed of several different metals and a small degree of the living alien metal that the suits technology is derived from. This mixture of metals gives the suit itself a small degree of resistances beyond just being tough. This included a resistance to fire/extreme heat, any and all energy based attacks including mystical energy, and a resistance to electricity.
Skull Face Utility 3: The only part of Smiley’s suit that isn’t original or improved upon is the helmet that she wears to mask her appearance. Smiley has completely gone ahead and copied Sabrina’s battle suit helmet down to the very last detail with the exception that is more compact than the original, is much lighter, and is designed to look like a skull. The helmet has a built in variety of vision modes, ranging from infrared, to night vision. The Helmet also has a built in camera, this is not only so Sabrina can remember previous encounters with people, but also acts as a way to collect data on the various fighting styles she might not have been familiar with. As an added way to ensure that Smiley’s gender remains hidden or falsified, the helmet has a built in voice changer that deepens her voices and adds a metallic filter to it.- Utility Weakness 2:
Smiley’s Armament
Dual High Caliber Custom Handguns: Smiley has abandoned conventional weapons, and decided to go with something more her style. In this regard, Smiley took it upon herself to craft a pair of high caliber handguns that can be configured to fire either a .45 or a .50caliber round as well as a specialty ammo she’s also taken the liberty of crafting. That isn’t where the specs for the weapons end either. The handguns have a secondary function built into them as well. This secondary ability allows the two pistols to be combined into a sniper rifle.
Smiley’s Grab Bag of Toys: Smiley carries an assortment of grenades on the utility belt of her suit which includes a homemade Cryo grenades that flash freezes everything in a five foot radius(PC permission required. Otherwise just slows down effected targets), standard fragmentation grenades, smoke grenades, flashbang grenades, and a toxic gas grenade of her own design, which causes uncontrollable laughing and hysteria which can ultimately lead to cardiac arrest(PC permission required). she only has enough room on her belt to carry 2 of each grenade type.
Anti Regen Rounds: Another marvel of Smiley’s madness and mastery of chemistry, physics, and ballistics, she has crafted a special type of munition capable of halting a person’s ability to heal or at least slow it down. This specialty ammo is able to be fired by her handguns and is a composite of a radioactive metal, steel, aluminum, and depleted uranium. Smiley has only applied the science behind this new metal to bullets and has yet to branch out and apply it to other weapons. Smiley has officially dubbed the new alloy Stradium.
Blades, Blades, And You Guessed It….More Blades: Aside from all of the other weapons Smiley carries with her on a job, she also wields a Katana, and a large combat knife.
