Today was a bad day. (Madeline) Empty Today was a bad day. (Madeline)

Post by Quinn August 19th 2015, 7:40 am

It was a perfect day in Los Angeles. The sky was clear, showing how pleasant it was outside. It was one of those rare days where not a single accident happened. At least, that's how it was on the surface, where the normal people lived. However, in the belly of the beast, where the darkness hid it was anything but a normal day, for Q7 had decided to take an outing to that part of the city, not to explore like she normally does, but to get into a fight, the need for something interesting driving her into greater lengths, going even so far as to start looking for fights, though she does not know exactly why she has those feelings.

Q7 gets the drop on the first group, using her speed and skills to take out two normal gang members before the rest of them even knew what was happening, avoiding actually killing them, seeing as how her father would not like that. As those two eat dirt, Q7 gives the others a full on Cheshire Cat smile, beckoning them to attack her all at once. "I do hope you are more interesting then your two friends here, I would hate to be bored." With those taunting words, the fight was on. Easily ducking under a punch and landing one of her own, another gang member dropped, leaving only two left, both of which are starting to inch away, clearly not wanting to tangle with the crazy girl who appeared out of nowhere and just dropped three of their friends with ease. Of course, seeing as how they were right outside of their hideout they didn't exactly have the option of running away, not without pissing off the stronger members of the gang.

Rushing at Q7 at the same time, the two people tried to use numbers instead of skill to take her out, only for one of them to get smacked across the face with a baton that appeared out of nowhere. Of course, she takes a punch across the face from the other one, only for him to clutch his fist, looking at Q7 in confusion and pain. "Oh, I am very sorry, I have a metal jaw. You must hit harder then that to damage me." Q7 steps up and smacks the last one on the shoulder, forcefully dropping him out of the fight before looking around for anyone else to fight. Sensing the threat rather then seeing it, Q7 dodges out of the way, appearing on the other side of the street as a dumpster crashes into where she was just standing.

As Q7 tries to locate where it was thrown from, she takes a beam of energy in the chest, sliding her back a few inches from the force of it. She only has a moment to look at the person standing on the top of the building, his hand outstretched in her direction before she was forced to dodge a punch, attempting to return the favor only for it to do nothing, the rather large man grabbing her fist with superhuman speed and smiling right at her. "Ello girlie, not bein' very nice, now ar' we?" With that rather garbled one liner, the man just pulls off Q7's arm, tossing it behind him as she takes that moment to get some distance and rethink her plan of just beating them up, seeing as how it wasn't to a very good start. Right then the guy on the roof fires another beam at her, forcing her to scramble to safety again. "Ey, stop acting the maggot and finish 'er off." The guy on the roof chimes in, trying to get the big one to make scrap metal out of Q7 faster.

Today was a bad day. (Madeline) Empty Re: Today was a bad day. (Madeline)

Post by Queen of Arcadia August 20th 2015, 1:21 am

It had been several days since Madeline had made her first successful visit to Earth, though the day hadn't ended on much of a high note, Madeline had made a friend....well, at least one that wasn't a demon. Being in the company of said individual made Madeline's day that much better, though the two didn't stop to think of exchanging ways for one another to communicate. This prompted Madeline to take action, after all, if she kept visiting the same area, the girl was bound to pop up right? Madeline made a handful of trips in the days since the encounter, and was unsuccessful in reuniting with her new friend.

Today was going to be no different, as Madeline decided she would continue her search until she had found Q. Madeline tore open a portal to Earth, it's exit point set for Los Angeles California. The demon queen poked her head out from the portal, before quickly withdrawing it as a large green trashcan came crashing down right in front of her. Madeline paused for a moment, hesitant to leave the safety of her portal, until she heard what sounded like a blast of some sort, and some sort of undistinguishable taunts.

Madeline rushed out of her portal to see what all the commotion was, only to find a rather large man towering over a pale raven haired girl. It took all of a moment to realize that the girl in question was Q, Madeline felt a bit of joy and relief if only for a moment before her emotions became that of dread and anger, and what appeared to be a pale arm landed at her feet. The demon queen felt her heart begin to race as her small body began to put off an intense heat. A loud. ungodly and horrific roar filled the air as a burst of black fire blanketed the area. With a flap of her might wings, Madeline propelled herself out of the thick cloud of fire like a bullet. She reached out with her right hand, grabbing the brutish thug by the face as he turned to face her. In almost an instant Madeline had smashed his head into a brick wall.

It was in this moment that the energy slinging thug and Q could get a good look at the Demon Queen of Arcadia. Standing with her arm outstretched was a paler Madeline with ashen hair and covered in a black leather-like armor, Obsidian horns protruded from her head, and her massive bat-like wings blotted out the sun behind her. "I WILL FLOSS MY TEETH WITH YOUR SPINE WORM!" she roared at the thug, who's head was now buried a good five inches into the brick wall. Hearing a blast fired from behind her, Madeline turned and raised a hand as the blast exploded against her palm. As the smoke settled Madeline remained in her same stance unscathed. She quickly turned to the thug she had pinned to the wall and delivered a heavy punch to his chest, causing him to bust through the brick wall and land on the other side. She then set her sights on the energy slinging thug, she was seconds away from ripping him to shreds.

Today was a bad day. (Madeline) Empty Re: Today was a bad day. (Madeline)

Q7 narrows her eyes, getting annoyed that they were already underestimating her, even though they had only been fighting for mere seconds. You know what they say, give a man an arm...

Q7 starts to make a plan on getting her now discarded arm back, her mind rapidly coming up with and discarding multiple ideas, taking a single step back to make it look like she was planning on escaping. However, before she could use even a single one of those plans, the large thug was grabbed from behind and made to get a real close look of one of the bricks in the nearby wall. Tensing for a moment with this new factor, Q7 relaxes when she figures out that the rather hot demon was Madeline, not some other one that wants to violently murder all of them...hopefully.

Seeing that the larger thug was busy, Q7 turns her attention to the one on the roof, firing a couple bullets at him, forcing him to defend himself, though she was too slow to stop his first attack, which was tanked easily by Madeline. Appearing next to her ripped off arm, Q7 picks it up, shoving it back into place and giving it a few test motions, making sure that it wasn't too damaged from the force it was subjected to. Seeing as how Madeline seemed to be rather pissed off and getting in the way did not seem like a smart idea, so Q7 just finds a nice spot to sit, figuring that she could help out if anything major goes wrong.

It was about then that the larger thug bursts out of the wall he was tossed through, looking rather pissed and swinging a metal bar at Madeline, the roof thug charging up an attack, hoping that his friend could handle Madeline long enough for him to finish charging. Of course, Q7 has already plotted the path to get to him, and is easily able to take him out before he could fire off his stupid charged attack.

Today was a bad day. (Madeline) Empty Re: Today was a bad day. (Madeline)

Post by Queen of Arcadia August 20th 2015, 11:09 pm

Madeline had had little chance to react, but it was enough, the large thug burst through the wall that Madeline had put him through. A large metal bar was swung at Madeline, who lifted her hands in time to catch it. The force from the swing was enough to push Madeline back a few inches as her feet dug into the ground. The demon queen's eyes seemed ablaze with rage as she turned towards her assailant. Her clawed hands tightened around the metal bar, crushing it with pure strength.

It was at this point that Madeline realized the other thug had been charging up an attack this whole time. Her face contorted with an expression of rage as she used her brute strength to swing the bar in the opposite direction, putting the large thug in the path of any attack the other thug might have had hopes of using. After moving the metal bar, Madeline's body began to emit a black flame that slowly began to cloak her. She could see the beads of sweat dripping down the larger thugs head, as he began to take labored breaths, her shadow cloak had begun to do its work on the man's stamina.

The roof thug smirks when his friend was shoved in the way, having already figured something like that might happen. The large thug gets his balance while the one on the roof finishes his charging, aiming the beam and then firing. Once he firmly planted his feet on the ground, the large thug holds Madeline in place, knowing full well the beam wasn't going to hit him so long as he stays where he is, and is making sure Madeline couldn't move. Suddenly the beam curves up and around, aiming straight for Madeline's unprotected back and wings.

It was then that Q7 reacted, not knowing how tough Madeline was, only understanding that her friend is in trouble and that this was a fight she picked anyway. Vanishing from her seat, she appears right behind Madeline, almost touching her back. The beam slams into Q7's crossed arms, pushing her into Madeline's back before ending, causing her to drop to her knees as she starts to process the damage.

Madeline couldn't react in time to the large thugs actions, being repositioned put her in a vulnerable spot, and as she braced for the impact, she felt a small tap on her back before the explosion went off. The heat from the blast and the resulting fire frayed and fringed her wings, causing her to let out a loud groan. She turned partially, her hands still tight on the metal bar, At her feet was Q, who had used her body as a shield to protect Madeline.

Seeing The girl on her knees and clearly hurt, was enough for Madeline to fully lose it, these men were no longer safe, and at this point they might as well have been proven clinically dead. With enormous force, Madeline pried the bar from the large thugs hands and began swinging it savagely, basing it into his head several times, before pulling the bar back and thrusting it straight through the bottom of his skull. Her fiendish gaze wandered over to the other thug who was visibly shaking with fear. Madeline let go of the metal bar, leaving it to prop the thugs lifeless body up with the rest of it protruding through the top of his skull.

Madeline slowly walked towards the building that the other thug had been on, she turned her gaze once to her wings to check the damage, before giving them a mighty flap, allowing her to reach the other thugs position with relative ease and amazing speed. The thug fell to his ass as Madeline towered over him, her wicked visage blocking out the sun behind her. Madeline snatched the thug up by his shirt and hoisted him up to his feet. The man was so terrified he remained still, frozen with fear. The demon queen griped the thugs head in her palm, a bit of black fire seemed to pour out from the spaces where her hand and the thugs head weren't touching. A violent burst of black energy erupted from her hand at point blank range, vaporizing the thugs head instantly, as his lifeless corpse fell at her feet.

Satisfied with her actions, the demon queen turned to her downed friend and rushed to her side, once there she began inspecting Q's body for any damage, making sure she was alright, and not severely injured.

Q7 only glances back at the corpse of the larger thug, shaking her head slightly, having already confirmed that the beam didn't do anything worth mentioning, though it did ruin her shirt. She liked this shirt too, it was a nice shirt. Standing up, she managed to catch the end of the other one before Madeline rushed back to her. By then the skin had already grown back, the shirt however, did not, having been shredded by the attack and barely covers much of anything. However, more pressing then her shirt was the fact that Madeline seemed to be in a rage and needed to calm down before the police or someone innocent showed up and she went berserk on them too.

Grabbing Madeline's shoulders, Q7 looks her right in the eye. "Madeline, I am fine, you need to calm down." This being the first time she saw the demon rage form she wasn't exactly certain on how she should have her calm down, but anything was worth a try.

Today was a bad day. (Madeline) Empty Re: Today was a bad day. (Madeline)

Post by Queen of Arcadia August 21st 2015, 4:36 am

Madeline stared directly into Q's eyes, the look on her face still contorted with anger and rage. Her breathing was heavy and her body was tense, as she looked around making sure that they were safe for the moment. Upon looking around, Madeline's glance caught a glimmer of her enraged state. Seeing herself like this, still surprised her to this day, despite having entered this form on several occasions before. The sudden realization of the carnage that was associated with this form was enough to bring the young demon queen out of her beast like state, and back to normal.

Once Madeline had calmed down, and her form had reverted to normal, the first thing she noticed was Q's face. Tears began to well up in Madeline's eyes, she hated going full demon, but it happened out of instinct, and it was something she didn't want her new friend seeing. "I..I..I'm so sorry" she said as a few tears broke free and cascaded down her face. She gave a slight sniffle and whipped away her tears as she looked at Q and her shredded shirt "Oh no! Your shirt is ruined. Here take this." she said removing her hoodie and handing it to Q. "You're not hurt are you?" She asked, reaching out to inspect Q.

As Madeline made several passes around Q she did all she could to avoid looking at the carnage she had left in her raged induced rampage.

Q7 frowned, not exactly sure how to deal with her friend suddenly crying and pacing and just carrying on. She let's Madeline pace around her a few times before grabbing her again, this time pulling her into a hug. Q7 pats her on the back a few times, trying to have her go back to normal. "It is alright, there is no need to be sorry. Look, I am fine, no damage at all." Q7 shows off her reattached arm, which doesn't even have a scar at this point, the skin having removed it already. "Now, let us go see what is inside the hideout. You go first and I will follow after, I need to make sure nobody is left out here." Giving Madeline a smile, she waits until she was inside the hideout before walking over to where the five guys she put down are, knowing very well that they were still awake.

Standing over them, her pistol appears in her hand, a silencer in the other one, Q7 making a show of putting it on the gun. "Just to be clear, all of you saw my friend? You are not going to tell anyone about her other form right?" The five gangs members nod their head yes, that they wouldn't speak a word. Q7 just gives them a predator's smile, clearly knowing something they don't. "Of course you will not, the dead do not speak." Before they could react to that information she put a bullet in each one's forehead. Standing, Q7 wipes blood splatter off of her cheek, leaving a red smear. Having taken care of those outside, Q7 heads inside to rejoin Madeline, the weapon vanishing as she enters the hideout.

Madeline seemed to calm down little by little as the seconds passed, and even more so when hugged by Q. It was an odd action that Madeline didn't quite know how to respond to, instead she kind of just sat there excepting it. Once free of Q's hug, and the plans to explore the hide out were made, Madeline agreed to go on ahead, she would have argued with Q about how they should both go into together, and for the life of her, didn't understand what Q needed to take care of outside, but she knew, that she wouldn't have won the argument anyway.

Madeline entered the hideout cautiously, it was surprising how no one inside had heard all of the commotion outside. The hideout was dark, barely lit by just a few flickering florescent bulbs. Near the entrance of the hideout Madeline found several workbenches some filled with guns, others with vials filled with a strange liquid. The demon queen, more intrigued by the strange liquid wandered over to the workbench, she picked on up and began to examine it. Q's sudden appearance made Madeline flinch, causing her to drop the vial on the ground with a small crash. the shards of class scattered across the floor as did its liquid contents. "Don't sneak up on me like that, you'll give me a heart attack" She said jokingly.

Q7 gives Madeline a large smile. "I am sorry, I did not mean to scare you. Now, let us see what there is to find in this rather interesting place they have here." Moving past Madeline, Q7 starts to look around the area, picking up the odd weapon and checking out the drugs that were in vials. Looking up at Madeline, she passes her hand across the whole place, pointing at everything in the whole room. "We should take it all, they are not people who should have these sort of things." Not bothering to explain how they were going to take everything, Q7 starts to put caps on the bottles and vials, so that the drugs wouldn't get spilled while they were being moved.

As soon as they were finished bagging everything, Q7 pulling out containers for the guns to be put in, she goes to a door that leads into the basement. Frowning at it when she finds it locked, Q7 puts a couple bullets into the lock, then kicks the door in. Staring down the stairway, she looks back at Madeline and winks. "Maybe they have treasure down here." With those words, she was down the stairs, where her smile quickly disappears into a frown. In the basement there was a pile of corpses, scattered around randomly. Each one seemed like they starved to death instead of a more violent method. Q7 wasn't able to feel guilt, but her anger was fully functioning and seeing what looked to be a bunch of kids just left here to die set it off.

Q7 checks every single one of the bodies, only finding a single one still alive, and barely at that. Picking them up she gently carries them out of the basement, having already connected to Wolf the moment they got into range. Q7 puts the child gently into the back of Wolf, who politely opened up without a word, then turns to Madeline. "Madeline, change of plans, we will collect this later if we can. There is a group of people who have a date with us." She is about to start off in a random direction before stopping and turning back to Madeline. "Oh yes, I almost forgot. Madeline, this is Wolf. Wolf, this is Madeline. Wolf is my baby, I made her you see."

It was just then that a surprised shout is heard, one of the gang members having come back from a trip to see all of his friends dead and what looked like a giant metal spider standing over them. Q7 stares at him for a second before turning to Madeline. "Madeline, dear, do you have any demons who are good with getting information? We need that scumbag over there to talk, and quickly." The smile that Q7 was giving the man was soaked with blood lust, so thick even the densest person could sense it.

Madeline seemed a bit puzzled just what were Q and her going to do with all those strange vials and weapons. She again didn't question it, instead she helped Q pack up the hideout. After everything was put away, Q wandered over to a locked door, peaking Madeline's curiosity. She wandered over to the door with Q, as she put bullets in the lock and kicked the door open. Immediately a powerful stench hit Madeline's nose, it wasn't anything worse than what she had smelt before, but she defiantly could identify the smell of decomposing bodies.

Madeline followed Q down the stairs and just shook her head at the sight of all the bodies. Madeline knew there were evil people on earth, but not this evil. Madeline's eyes scanned the dark room, just out of curiosity as to why these people were being held here, it was then that she saw Q walking back up the stairs with a body in her arms. The demon queen followed her comrade out back onto the street, walking past all the stuff they had packed. Q made her way to what looked like a giant metal spider.

Madeline gave Q a look of slight confusion as she was introduced to the large machine apparently named Wolf. "Uhhhhh....Nice to meet you...Wolf" she said waving at the large mechanical spider bot. Just then one of the thugs that belonged to this hideout showed up. Madeline turned her attention to him, she was already one step ahead of Q, and she began to approach him. A burst of light fired off from underneath the thug, freezing him in place. With a snap of her fingers, a large portal tore open before the man and out emerged a very large four armed demon, that let out a deafening roar. Madeline approached the man, with a large smirk on her face "You might want to start talking. My friend here is very hungry, and he doesn't like to be kept waiting."

Letting Madeline handle the gang member that was beyond scared witless now, knowing that he'll talk and die, or was it talk or die? It didn't really matter, Q7 fully planned to put a bullet in his brain the moment he talked, not even caring that Madeline was there at this point, her anger having fully taken control. Checking on the child that was still alive, before giving Wolf an order and sending her off, Widow and Weaver already prepped and loaded and heading their way. This was war and Q7 fully planned to go with style.

Turning to Madeline and her summoned demon friend, the man was sobbing in terror on the ground, she walks over, staring down at the man that was just pressed for information? "So, have you found out where another one of their hide outs are?"

Today was a bad day. (Madeline) Empty Re: Today was a bad day. (Madeline)

The thug has visibly pissed his pant at the sight of the large four armed demon. He pleaded with the demon to no eat him, which upset Madeline because if the thug was to be pleading to anyone, it was her, he was at her mercy. This show of disrespect prompted Madeline to smack the man across the face "You talk to me, not him!" she barked pointing to herself and the demon respectfully. This kind of outburst was not common for the demon queen, she was usually very cheerful,  but after raging out earlier and having seen then cruelty of this band of thugs had put Madeline over the edge.

The thug apologized to Madeline and gave her all the info he knew, which was good enough for her. With a sinister smirk, she nodded for the man to make a run for it, as she turned to Q, who had asked if the man had disclosed the location of another hideout. "He didn't just give me the location of another one of these hideouts, he gave me the locations for all of them." As Madeline gave Q the list of addresses, the audible screams of the thug could be heard just a few feet away as the demon Madeline had summoned, was dragging the man back through a fiery portal back to the real of Arcadia.

"So where do we go from here?" she asked innocently as though the scene that had just occurred behind her, never happened.

Giving Madeline a sweet, innocent smile. "Going to each and every hideout is boring, would it not be more fun to have them group together and handle them all at once?" That being said, Q7 goes through the pockets of the two boss thugs, the ones that actually had power. Holding both of their phones in her hands, she goes through all of their contact information, finding one number that comes up the most between both of them. Winking at Madeline, she dials the number, holding it up to her ear. A short conversation later, ending with a clear death threat, Q7 drops the phones and steps on them, breaking them. "Okay, he should be freaking out about now, those two seemed to be rather powerful in this organization. Shall we go meet our dates now?"

It actually didn't take them that long to get to where they needed to go, Q7 having 'borrowed' a car from someone who left the keys in it. Let's not ask where Q7 learned to drive of course, seeing as how that was her first time behind the wheel. She wisely didn't mention this to Madeline, figuring that it would make her feel better if she didn't know. The two vigilantes were currently out of sight of the easily two dozen people gathered around the entrance of the main base, not even attempting to hide the multiple melee weapons that they had out and ready. Though Q7 did see a couple firearms peeking out of the jackets of a few of them, so they were at least trying not to get swarmed by cops before everything went down.

Turning to Madeline, she gives her a pat on the shoulder. "You can go home if you want, this is a battle I started and I will not look down on you if you do not want to fight." Q7 then turns and just starts to walk right for the large group of people, who notice her and start to spread out, a little worried about someone who could handle not one, but two of their more powerful members. Widow and Weaver were already in the area, having already connected to Q7 and are giving her two extra viewpoints for the chaos that was about to unfold.
