Another one? (Ryan)

What kind of cool stuff? What did that even mean? It was electricity, so....it did electricity things. Other then that there wasn't exactly cool stuff, but he could tell Ryan something that he theorized. It was a longshot really, but if he could control electricity there was not really any reason he wouldn't be able to do what he thought he could. Ice and water was cool, and the display sort of shocked Eric. He didn't think water and ice could be controlled like that, so precisely and elegantly.

"Well, that's really cool. As for the electricity, well besides controlling and creating it i have a hunch i might be able to do that on a smaller scale with protons and electrons, since they are charged particles. If i can do that.....well, according to physics i'll be able to do tons of weird stuff. But that's just talking about potential, as of now, well it's just electricity." Eric said. He had liked physics a lot in school, and with that knowledge he started thinking. He should theoretically be able to tap into the EM spectrum and more, since electricity governs a lot more then what you would expect.

"So what can Austyn do?" Eric asked, curious about his other brothers powers.

It wasn’t a fine demonstration of what Ryan could really do but then again that always tended to get messy really. Aside from that, Ryan had a feeling Austyn did not need him causing any inadvertent destruction once again, as he did not seem to like him well enough as it was. Making his brother not like him anymore was not exactly the thing he wanted to deal with right now. For no however he found himself more interested in learning more about his siblings power than showing off his own, which he had been stuck with since he could remember. Granted his memory was terrible, so that was not something he could really trust.

Meanwhile that lead to the male saying something about protons and things that made Ryan more confused than anything else. He had no idea what he was talking about, so it all sounded like a bunch of mumbo jumbo that someone like Matt or Silus would probably understand a lot better. ”Oh… thats really cool.” Ryan said with a nod, not really getting what the male said but acting as if he did. He didn’t want his brother to think he was...well an idiot, even though Ryan felt he wasn’t one inf the first place. He was totally smart...or smarter atleast.

”Dunno what Austyn does though. Haven’t really seen him use any powers, so he might not have any.”

He didn't know his own brothers powers? That was weird, especelly considering thats one of the first things that was asked moments ago when they just met. But then again, Eric didn't know the dynamics of their relationship. The thought of the male not having powers seemed unlikely though. Why would they both have them but not him? It was possible sure, but odd and totally unfair. But of course, life was unfair at times.

"Well, does he still do what you guys do? The heroic thing i mean." Tempest asked. It seemed likely to Eric for whatever reason, but doing so without powers was pretty insane. Unless he was one of those Batman gadget types, those were always badass.

"Anyway, do you guys have code names? I figured you might, i know its a little nerdy but still, kinda cool." Eric asked. He didn't tell them his because he wanted to know if they actually did that sort of thing. He didn't want to be the only dumb fuck to come up with a shitty name.

Austyn not having power seemed like an unlikely but then again Ryan didn’t know enough about them to say one way or another. It was always a possibility however, so he didn’t keep that out of mind really. If he did superhero things without powers, that sort of made him even more awesome in Ryan’s opinion. ”I think he does….well that’s what he was doing when we first met anyway.” It was possible, always possible but then again just assuming someone did something just made an ass out of you. If he had a codename he could not guess, but then again maybe they could find out eventually.

”I have a codename actually, dunno about Austyn though. He might, but I just don’t know it. I like to think mine is pretty cool, sounds cool to me anyway.” Ryan may have not noticed that he was starting to babble slightly, but then again he rarely noticed something like that. After all that would detract from his talking. ”I go by Deluge actually, though i’m hoping to get a cool angel name once I officially join Seraphim whenever that happens.”

Deluge, well that wasn't too bad. In fact it was something along the lines of Eric's own name. Cool and related to his powers, that's something Eric liked. But besides that, Ryan seemed to know nothing about his other brother, or at least very little. It raised some questions really, a lot of them. Eric just didn't know if he should start dropping them right then and there, and in one sitting. Or if he should wait, asking them over time. He supposed it really didn't matter in the end, and he was curious.

"Oh, that's cool. Mine is Tempest, on account of the wind and lightning, of course." Eric said with a slightly confident smirk. He was quite proud of that name really, he thought it was pretty clever.

"Anyway......you talk about Austyn like you recently met him. How long have you two been....together?" Eric asked. It only made sense that they hadn't known each other for long considering the males words, and if that were the case this was a bigger coincidence then he had previously thought.

Tempest sounded pretty cool tro Ryan, granted he was pretty easy to impress when it came to things like this. The only reason he had his own hero name the way it was happened to be because of a name drop by his best friend Silus of all people. Granted, Silus always had cool ideas so that would have not been too much of a surprise. ”Tempest? That sounds pretty cool.” Ryan noted with a smile and nod. Not much else to say as far as their name, because it was a simple matter of him thinking that it was cool. As far as the whole only meeting Austyn recently thing really, well he had only met his other brother recently though they did not appear to be very fond of him from what he could tell. The idea was a discouraging one, but not like he could do much about it right now.

”Yeah, we just met like….a week ago I guess. It was...during that storm thing.” The incident had time to pass for him, but it had only been a week on this side. That was about the only reason why he wasn’t so hesitant about mentioning the storm now of all times. ”We haven’t really….been together very long I guess. I only really talked to him like once.”

Well, that was upsetting. He had only talked to his brother like once? Of course, technically speaking he had only talked to both of his brothers like once, but that was beside the point. Why weren't they closer then that? Did something happen during that storm that made them not like each other? Eric didn't really know, but he would find out eventually he supposed. He was sure he would meet his other brother sometime, and when he did he planned on straightening everything out. The weird part about this how thing though was the three of them had been reunited with the span of a week. It almost seemed as if someone were pulling strings, but then again, Eric didn't really believe in the whole god thing.

"Well that sucks......... How about we go do something? I mean, some times i just like to walk around, hang out a little. It's even better with superpowers after all." Eric said with a smile. It was getting a little dark out now, but then again he hardly cared about that. It would make things a little more fun perhaps.

His newfound sibling suggested they go out and do something, which sounded like a fun idea the moment it left his mouth. Granted Ryan just wanted to do anything other than sitting around, as that sounded really boring when thought about. So spending some time with his sibling, well that would have been really fun. The question was what they would do together, as there was not much they could do without money. Money was not something that Ryan had much, if any of and he wondered if Eric had any either. Not that he would ask of course, that was sort of rude and Ryan like to fashion himself as a not so rude person. He would have to talk about this to someone, though he was unsure if Cale really cared, so that meant either Matt or Silus. Those guys were pretty cool, so they would probably listen.

”Yeah, we could do something.” Ryan said with a nod. ”But what can we do?” He would sort of let Eric lead the charge since they seemed to know more about what they were doing than he was really, but then again that tended to be how things went. Ryan wasn’t exactly what, but you would call a leader, but that may have just been how he grew up.

Eric didn't actually know what they would do. His idea was pretty much just....well go roam the night. Isn't that what these superheroes did to find crimes? Or maybe they just had some other high tech means of finding them, however the only tech around really was that blonde guy with a laptop.

"There's a hostage situation on 2nd and Olive ST. You guys could go do that or something." Drifter said from the corner of the room, not taking his eyes off the monitor in front of him. Eric smiled at that. Yeah, the hostage situation was sorta a bad thing. But hey, it could be fun!

"Well, what do you think? Wanna go beat some baddies up?" Eric asked Ryan. If he said yes, well then Eric would lead the way out of the base. It wasn't all that far from here really, and besides, Eric had an idea that would make traveling there awesome. Who needed cars when you could have air manipulation? Well, most people couldn't have that......but that's totally not the point.

Honestly Ryan had no idea what to do but luckily that one grumpy blond guy with the laptop seemed to have some idea of what they could do, even if it was that heroing stuff. "Yeah, beating up some bad guys sounds cool." Ryan said with a nod, just enjoying the chance to actually hang out with his sibling, even if this was the first time they had actually met. Maybe this would go better than when he first met Austyn, who Ryan was convinced still hated him. The only problem was that he had no idea where the crime was taking place, and that made doing things really difficult when he thought about it. It was possible that Eric would know, but then again it was also possible they did not know anything about LA much like him.

Luckily it looked like Eric knew where they were going, which was good for Ryan who had no idea. It was more of a lack of desire to find out the lay of the land rather than just forgetting things really, but then again people were less likely to believe that. Getting there was another point, since he had no real idea how to drive and didn't really have a car either, so that was two things not in his favor. Well likely getting there would be no problem, so long as they could think of a way to do so as Ryan always found his water porting to be a useful way of getting places. Granted, the worst place he had come out of was a sink, and that was pretty tame compared to what could have happened. Luckily it appeared that his brother had this as well, using their air powers to move them through the air.

This was perhaps his first time flying actually, well his first time in a long time and the feeling never got old. Being able to look down and see the world flying beneath you was an amazing feeling really, and one that never failed to fill him with an almost childlike glee. Within a matter of minutes they would touch down at the landing site, though his heart was still racing slightly. "Alright, so where's this hostage situation?" Well it should have been obvious from everything happening around him but then again at times Ryan could be dense.

"It's at town hall, or at least one of them. If you don't squirm we can get there pretty quick." Eric said once they both got outside the Seraphim base. This really wasn't about the bad guys, it was just about getting to know each other. Whoever was holding the hostages was likely no match for the two anyway. When they were ready, Ryan would feel the air beneath him shift, then carry him upward just as it did the same with Eric. He had a confident smirk on his face, as if impressed by himself.

"Just hold tight, i think i know where it is." Eric said. And with that they would shoot off at pretty high speeds, likely not being able to talk due to the wind, Eric wasn't yet that intricate with his powers, but it likely wasn't too bad. Eventually they would get there, Eric landing and then setting his brother down gently. He hadn't really done anything like this yet, but he was pretty sure he could nail it. He put his mask on, then changed his voice a bit like he always did to conceal his identity.

"Alright I'm pretty sure these guys are just mooks, so, we can probably just go in there and kick some teeth in. We just gotta make sure the hostages are clear." Eric said as he walked toward the building. Once Eric got close, he aeroported inside, then, while in the center of the room, he took the four gunman's weapons with a flick of the wrist, sanding them across the room. Unfortunately though, Eric missed one, likely the most important too. A meta human, dressed in typical robber gear, charged him with a fist raised, barely giving him enough time to put an air shield up. The force sent him flying back, and left Ryan to deal with him for a moment.

"Get you're weapons back and secure the hostages." The strong meta said, the robbers scurrying for their guns and pointing them at the dozen people on their knees.

"I'll deal with the kiddies....."

Being suspended within the air by nothing more than the air was pretty cool, but then again he couldn't let himself dwell upon that small fact when there was something more important to focus upon. Luckily Eric knew where they were supposed to be going, and so he left that small bit up to him. Dealing with mooks, now that was something that should be difficult, though he could not just disappear as easily as it appeared that Eric could do. So instead Ryan opted t just walk through the front door as Eric knocked some guns out of peoples hands, sending them clattering to the ground.

Just like that Eric was thrown across the room by a rather burly looking big guy dressed much like the ones that had been disarmed. Within a matter of seconds guns were back in hands, and people were back in trouble. "You have got to be kidding me." Ryan muttered extending a hand outwards palm open as his mental influence extended outwards. "Look, I don't know who you are but I have a few questions for you. I mean, you look like you're in charge here." Suddenly the mooks would find their limbs not being so cooperative, joints forcibly twisting as their guns fell from their hands rather quickly.

Thrown up into the air by small water spouts, small stream of high pressure water were pulled from the air and shredded through the guns reducing them to an unusable shape. "I'm looking for a certain metahuman, burning red energy, prideful, has an affinity for black and I think they go by Red. You wouldn't happen to be able to point me in their direction could you?" There was a strange, almost unsettling edge to his voice like a knife. clenching his hand into a fist and slamming it down, the thugs heads did something similar which reduced them to unconscious states.

The meta in charge didn't even flinch when his mooks went down, he only laughed, his visible skin turning a bright chrome as he listened to what Ryan was saying. He knew he wouldn't be able to be controlled from the inside like the others, even telekinetic couldn't because he was literally solid metal, no part of him being more important then another. He walked forward, his arm reforming into a large spike.

"You're looking for Lucius? Well, you must have a death wish. In my opinion he isn't so tough, but he'll still make you and you're friend squeal." The man said with a chuckle. At this point unless Ryan moved the man would be right near him, and if he did move the man would charge, ramming his metal spike at impressive speed toward Ryan's face. Meanwhile, Eric had pulled himself to his feet and was making his way back to the fight.

"Wow, I guess talking shit is just common among you low grade criminal types." Ryan noted seemingly unintimidated by the man's skin turning into metal. This made things difficult but then again not entirely impossible, so long as he could think of a way to actually damage them. They had turned their hand into a metal spike with the intentions to likely hit one of them with it. It appeared that he was the first target, though they would find him not so easy to deal with. Rather than hitting flesh, the metal spike would slip through what was once his skull as it was reduced to water splashing across the floor while the body itself stayed standing. Nothing happened for a few seconds before Ryan appeared to step back until the metal spike was no longer obstructing his neck, droplets rapidly converging upon that spot and reforming as a head.

"Pretty weak really. Is that all you can do Tin Man?" Ryan taunted with a smirk, seemingly undaunted by the attack that would have likely killed anyone else. For a moment his eyes darted upwards, taking in the sprinkler system that was likely expected to be installed to avoid fires spreading. "I'll have to show you how its done." By the end of his sentence the sound of metal bursting could be heard as water began to rain down upon anyone within the room, well except for Ryan and the hostages of course. "Being made of metal, now that is no good for you. Tempest do your thing!" Likely the man would see what was going on or not, but before they would likely be able to make too great of a move, the water would begin to freeze in thick sheets around their joints to prevent excessive movement.

Eric didn't really think his brother thought this through..... If the hostages were also wet and he fried this guy, then they would likely die. An easy fix really, but still a little sloppy. So, as Tempest floated back into the room, he moved the hostages away from the Tin Man with a swift hand gesture, then started lighting the guy up.

Sparks shot everywhere, and the metal man hissed and screamed, Eric not stopping for the longest time with a determined look on his face. After at least thirty seconds, the man fell over, and Eric stopped his assault.

"Well then, that's how you take care of a metal guy." Eric said, smirking under his mask for a moment at their victory, they made a pretty good team it would seem.

"Who is this Red guy you asked about? .....you seemed angry." Eric continued as he stepped past the knocked out metahuman and toward the hostages.

Sparks leapt from the metal man as they were struck with Eric's electricity, Ryan patiently waiting as they went through electrocution. In a sense he enjoyed it, but not overly so at any rate. Once the electrical assault was finished, Ryan sauntered over to the unconscious metahuman to be sure they were as unconscious as they appeared to be, which showed how scary his brother could be. With all of this done, Ryan tapped a foot softly against the  downed male to see if they were awake or not while Eric likely went to see if the hostages were alright. Once they were done, questions seemed to be pushed towards him.

"Who is he?" Ryan parroted the question for a second, before turning his attention towards Eric. "A bad guy I'm going to crush into powder." Ryan noted with a low growling tone to his voice, before turning to look to Eric. "I guess this guy had no good information though." Now seemingly uninterested in the metal metahuman he turned his attention to the hostages. "Is everyone okay?"
