Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Lucius found it surprising few played chess in Alphas group, he had thought their minds gravitated to such things as strategy but it seemed that was not the case. But then again, chess was not a measure of intelligence as Hollywood had made it out to be. You could be the smartest being on the planet and suck at the game, it was just that intellectuals usually played because of the image culture had portrayed. Travis went along with Lucius' subtle suggestion and called for one of his siblings to bring down a set they could play with, and that they did. As noted by the male, Lucius had the first move because he was given the white pieces.
As soon as Zeta left, Lucius started, moving a pawn in set up for his favorite opening. Alpha moved next and they went back and forth from there. They seemed evenly matched as they both quickly made a rock solid defense neither could breach without making a sacrifice. The game went on for at least a half hour with no captures until Lucius decided to open things up. He sacrificed a bishop to weaken Alphas pawn structure, but unknowing weakened his own as well. Travis exploited this, turning the end-game into the complete opposite of the mid-game. They traded piece after piece, either never gaining even a slight advantage over the other until they both had nothing but a lone king. Lucius just smirked at the result, leaning back from his excited posture over the board.
"That was....entertaining." Lucius said after being silent for most of the match. He was impressed, no one had ever made him play that hard.
"Your tactics are sound, very....streamlined." Lucius said still looking down at the board, perhaps calculating how it could have been done differently. A thought that Lucius had strangely put on hold during there fight with the Mistress then appeared in his mind once again. During that fight Oliver and himself were quite all right, mostly due to their durability. Both felt the need to protect Alpha because, for one, he was the trump card, he was the one to finally end it by taking control of the mercenaries mind. The second reason though was more tactical, he was the physical weak link, with all that power being flung around it was only a matter of time before his peak human skin caught some. Since then Lucius felt the need to see what the male had combat wise, he hadn't seen him fight in quite awhile and when he did most of the heavy lifting was done by his second in command. For the sake of future missions, he needed to know Travis could hold his own with one as powerful as himself.
"I know you're not one that likes getting his hands dirty, and I'd have to admit you have good reason not to, you've definitely taught me to be a bit less careless with my violence. However.......there are times when a mastermind must defend himself, sometimes even against someone more powerful then themselves........ What I'm trying to say is, when such a time comes, i need to know you can defend yourself. As powerful as you are, you don't have as much combat experience as me. A crafty opponent such as that woman you encountered in Springfield could cause you some trouble even without powers, if they know what their doing." Lucius said, remembering looking over the data his scanners had picked up that day to fill in the gaps of his mysterious memory lose.
Unfortunately he didn't find anything, the feed ended just as his memory faded most. But what he did find was a rather comical fight between what seem to be a normal woman, and Alpha. The other members of the Ultra Gang had also told him about their second encounter at city hall. Lucius didn't think low of Alpha for this, the male could have killed him once, but he did need to recognize where he faltered and improve himself. If he took this whole thing as an insult well, that wasn't the Alpha Lucius knew. It was merely constructive criticism.
"So what do you say? Do you have some kind of training area in this place?" Lucius said after a short pause.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Chess was a game that many people expected the intellectually inclined to be able to perform. That was not the case with most of his siblings, they hated the game due to how boring it was in the end, some of them just hated using their intelligence in that fashion and others hated the stereotype. Regardless of their reason, Alpha would never force them to lay a game, which was nothing if not childish. Lucius had the first move, and so the dance would begin. While he was competent at the game, he had only begun to play recently, granted he had a teacher who knew a lot more about it than he did. It started off going nowhere until Lucius had went to sacrifice one of his pieces, but the bait was there. So Alpha made his move, and this continued until they ended in a stalemate.
So it appeared that Lucius was a skilled player as well, enough of one that he couldn’t gain a distinct advantage over him within the game. ”That was a good match. You might have to play a match against Omega sometime, he’s far better at this game than I am.” His tactics were streamlined as Lucius had put it, but they were effective, at least that was what he had been informed of. The unexpected portion of it was Lucis bringing up a partially logical point. Even a mastermind needed to defend themselves from time to time, though the mention of Danny was an interesting one. Regardless, he could see where Lucius was coming from, and at the same time he was curious what he was getting at. He only took a few seconds of silence, though to Alpha that stretched over minutes to his mind highly processing mind.
”So what you’re saying is you want to test out my capabilities in combat?” He would ask simply, though his tone almost sounded amused by the prospect. He hadn’t really had the chance to fight a lot lately, but that didn’t mean Alpha let his capabilities atrophy like many would assume. As far as he knew his mind was as sharp as ever, and the abilities that came with it as well. It was also the perfect excuse to test out a few new tricks of his, so in the end Alpha welcomed the potential combat. ”If that’s the case, then I suppose I should take you to my personal training area.” He had one of course, where all their ranked members had a chance to home their own talents. Still, how Lucius knew of his second encounter with Danny, now that was something he wondered about to himself. Well, a few new tricks as well as something he had been working on with Omega.
Omega, meet me at the training area and bring that thing I’ve been working on. He would send the telepathic message, standing to his feet and with a motion putting all of the chess pieces back into place. Once Lucius was ready, Alpha would lead him once again through the hallways deeper into the facility. It was a longer walk but eventually they would reach what looked like a large room that was barren for the most part save for a small panel in the center. Omega was already waiting there, holding a small syringe within his hand, though it was brought to his hands with a thought.
”This my training area, don’t let the looks fool you however. It’s nowhere as dull as it looks.” Considering the small applicator within his hand, Alpha flicked the side and made sure there weren’t any air bubble before applying it. As always there was a small pinch, but in the end he could feel his mind rapidly increase in some respect. Everything for a second seemed to slow down to a painful crawl, sound so slow it dragged out like an incomprehensible mess. It appeared that heightened processing had its cons, but within a few seconds he already grasped how to slow it down enough. Sucking in a breath and letting it hiss through his teeth, Alpha pressed a hand against the only thing other than them within the room as the walls began to glow. What he loved about this room, well it turned his illusions into something more than that. Within a few seconds they were in an urban area, with all of the parts that made it urban.
Cars, buildings but no people. ”You make the move first Lucius.”

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Lucius was interested in the prospect that Omega was better then Alpha at chess, if that were the case perhaps Lucius would be beaten if he went up against him. A curious thought, but one that was no longer the subject of discussion. So Alpha agreed to have a little spar with him, that was good. Lucius was mainly just trying to kill time, but he did want to know the male was capable of going head to head with a powerful being such as himself.
"Lead the way." Lucius said with very little emotion apparent. His attitude never really showed any, perhaps because he was just a serious person or because he was constantly in deep thought. He did get angry and amused sometimes yes, but that was rare compared to his usual flat demeanor.
Alpha started off, leading him through the facility once again. He swore 90% of the time he spent here was used walking. They walked silently as usual, neither really speaking until they finally arrived in the large, barren room. It looked far more simple then Lucius' training areas, which was noted by Alpha, who said it was far less dull then it seemed. Perhaps it was a simulation room, Lucius himself had been working on some kind of technology for such a room on and off. Lucius' attention was then caught by the site of Alpha injecting himself with something, now what could that be? Not that it mattered, what could it allow Alpha to do Lucius hadn't already seen and/or handled.
"Grab my new gear and bring it to me." Lucius said to Daniel over the communicator in his ear. Unfortunately he hadn't exactly came here intending on fighting someone, let alone Alpha. These ideas just sort of popped into his head at random. But it was easily fixed. Daniel then appeared once again, with a pile of gear and armor. It really was nice having a teleporter as powerful as Daniel under his employ.
"We have no replacement sonic emitters, you used the last in that arena." Daniel noted after setting everything down. That was a shame, but it wasn't like Lucius planned on opening with that, that would be the opposite of training.
"So.....what are you two up too?" Daniel asked, gathering just what was about to go down but asking anyway.
"Don't you have tech to make?" Lucius said shooing Daniel have. The young man just shook his head and disappeared once again.
In a few moments Lucius had all his new gear equipped and ready to go, confirmed by the charming voice of Hector being transmitted to him through his mask as soon as he put it on.
"Sparing Alpha today Lucius? This should be interesting." The AI stated telepathically.
"You say that like your watching, and not helping me win." Lucius said in return, slightly amused by the AI.
"Of course I'm helping you sure, but that doesn't make things less fun to watch." The AI concluded as Lucius finally stood up, now wearing his complete set of armor.
In a few moments after they both stepped to the center of this room it changed, reminding Lucius of Silus' powers.....interesting. It looked like a typical urban street, with cars and all. It was all solid and real it seemed, whatever this room did it was quite impressive. Once again, but in a completely different way, Lucius was given the first move. Would he start simple, or jump to more advanced forms of attack? He was aware mid range was where Alpha flourished, he needed to be taken out of his comfort zone to make this training session matter. He wasn't going to hold back, if Alpha was injured, well, they had means to heal him. The only thing he really would avoid doing was a direct kill shot. Lucius chose to go long range first, it would give him an overview and perhaps more time to see Alphas attacks coming.
"Let the best man win." Lucius said with a smirk before he disappeared in a flash of red light. If Alpha was using some sort of super steroid, well, he had no problem using his tech against him. Lucius was instantly teleported to the highest point in the simulation, as well as the furthest away from Alpha, which was about 200 feet. From the illusion of a roof Lucius formed a construct of a sniper rifle, then aimed it at his ally. Suddenly, a burst of red energy bolts were fired, it wasn't exactly expected from such a style of gun, but then again it wasn't exactly a gun.
About a dozen glowing red energy bullets came flying at Alpha, simple enough to evade right? Wrong, some were intended to hit Travis yes, but some missed on purpose, hitting the ground near their target. From their the bullet constructs burrowed into the ground under Alpha, then exploded with a brilliant red. If Alpha remained where he was, he would likely be badly burned and sent flying. It was a simple first attack, meant mostly to size Travis up and get things going.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Normally, he would have not given Lucius the time to don his equipment but Alpha was feeling confident within himself. His mind felt so much more….powerful, as if there wasn’t anything he could not do. No obstacle he couldn’t overcome, and that included the powerful meta-human he was fighting against. They would open up with rapid teleportation, leaving behind only a small red light while Lucius would appear elsewhere to likely attack. Within that instant, everything slowed around him to almost a halt as Alpha rapidly calculated where his foe would be hiding. Regardless of what that meant, he knew the attack would either come from above or below. If only because they both had their strategic advantages, one more than the other but in the end he would have to expect something.
It was now time for him to scope the area, unleashing an almost imperceptible pulse of pressure out. It would take a superhuman level of touch to even feel it, so he was sure even Lucius would not be able to tell what was going on. Dull grey eyes closed as he let he mental picture form, of buildings, cracks and even the one humanoid figure around 200 meters from where he stood. A small smirk formed upon his lips, as Alpha would prepare himself, small cracks forming about the ground he stood upon. While he could not tell what weapon they were holding, it was known well enough when the sound of something firing off could be heard. Small objects being fired through the air at high speeds towards him, likely bullet shaped constructs. All of them had the capability of shredding through his flesh like butter, so being hit was not something he could allow.
Based on a vague trajectory, he could surmise that some were aimed to hit him, but others were aimed all wrong. Either it was a clever plan to catch him off-guard, or Lucius was not as good of an aim as he wanted Alpha to think. In an instant, Alpha would lit into the air and seemingly flew through the air with sub sonic speeds, enough to avoid what would have been painful injury. He only ascended a good one hundred meters, before managing to stop himself, suspended within the air with arms still crossed over his chest. Giving Lucius not a second to react, he would unleash a powerful burst of psionic energy that warped and twisted the air around it. Normally, he had to strain to unleash this much power, this was almost like casually swatting.
It if made contact with the building, the entire top would be reduced to nothing more than rubble, and likely it would do some damage to Lucius as well.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Though Alpha attacked best at mid range, Lucius going far off gave Travis the same advantage it gave Lucius himself. From that far away they could see each others attacks coming a mile away, looks like close quarters was next. Alpha went high, using his telekinesis to fly at Lucius at very fast speeds. Speed, however, had proved time and time again to be of little advantage against Lucius. From his high point he saw Travis launch at him, it gave him little time to react yes, but his mind was not the usual. He saw it coming and reacted accordingly, forming a construct bubble around himself that eat away at the roof he was standing on rapidly. Floor after floor he dropped himself through in an attempt to get away from the amped telekinetic.
The telekinetic burst from Alpha ripped the top floor of the building off almost entirely, but at that point Lucius had already drilled his way to ground level. Stepping out of the building through the front entrance Lucius activated his thrusters, shooting up into the air. Grabbing a very powerful bomb from his belt Lucius enclosed it in a bubble construct, then flung it at his flying target. Once it got close it would explode violently, though it would also likely be shielded against. But that's what Lucius was hoping for. He would use the cover the bomb granted to fly close, unleashing a flurry of energy charged punches on either Alpha or the telekinetic barrier he constantly put up.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Concrete, glass and metal all gave way under the sheer force that he could exert with a thought alone. This was what it felt like to be powerful, enough so that he could understand why someone would become full of themselves. However, within the explosion he did sense something moving through the building downward. Lucius had decided that he would avoid the blast, a smart move on his part, or perhaps he was just wanted a better tactical advantage. Honestly, he had no idea the limits he sported now, but something told him Lucius would reveal those limits to him soon enough.
A strange construct was thrown towards him, with something at it’ center but he had to think of a means by which he could react. Within less than a second, something would explode and blind him for a moment as his felt pressure against his personal barrier. It felt like a punch, but the sheer lack of force behind it did nothing more than cause his head to jerk to the side. These punches felt like they came in a flurry, but coming so close to Alpha only meant he left himself wide open. Once the attack was done, Lucius would likely feel himself suspended in place by an invisible force, and within an instant his mask would be jerked away, landing within Alpha’s left hand.
”You know Lucius, that actually stung.” With a thought, he would unleash a burst of telekinetic energy point blank.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Well this was not good. His attacks were not sudden enough or just didn't sport enough force to destroy Alphas barriers. And not only that, but his mask was pulled off. It was something most didn't think about when fighting Lucius, but that mask of his was the key to him controlling his tech so flawlessly. Without it most of his technology wouldn't be able to be operated, and the stuff that was able to be used was far less accurate. Whatever the serum did to Travis, it was obviously giving him a power boost. Travis made a comment about how his attacks 'stung', then unleashed a telekinetic barrier before Lucius could think about what that meant. Being only peak human durability wise, it should have been more then just a sting, perhaps the serum gave his ally a new damage soaking ability.
Lucius was launched from his stable hovering toward the ground at high speeds, if he didn't do something he would be in for a nasty fall. The burst definitely hurt, but besides a few rips on his face he was relatively undamaged. The force behind Alphas telekinesis had definitely improved. As Lucius fell he reached down to the manual control system on his belt, it looked like a little computer compartment. With a few quick taps his teleporter activated, it wasn't as accurate as when Hector did it, but he could still input a direction and arrive in the general area he wanted. He appeared above Alpha, directly above, and continued to fall in an effort to catch the telekinetic off guard. As he feel he stuck out his foot, which had the burning heat of his thruster running from it, and attempted to kick Alpha in the head then flipped backwards back into a hover.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Lucius had been caught off guard by his sudden psionic seizing of him, allowing Alpha to rip the mask off of his face and toss him to the ground with a burst of telekinetic pressure. Honestly, he was not expecting it to be too much damage but some damage would have been lovely, especially damage that didn’t heal right away. Regardless, he knew Lucius would not be put down as the light of the teleporter could be seen and his presence within his sense was lost. That was short lived however as something would appear above him, a vague shape that he could only assume was Lucius. Now Alpha decided to play something with Lucius, overlaying an illusion upon him while doing something else.
Alpha would appear to disappear in a small flash that suggested teleportation, appearing above Lucius, or rather the illusion of Alpha. The true Alpha had moved to the side to narrowly avoid what would have been a painful burn, hidden by his own illusion. ”I’m up here.” The illusionary Alpha would state with a motion of his hand, as a blast of telekinetic energy to throw Lucius down once again, though it would not be the only attack as about three more came down.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Teleportation was not something Lucius knew Alpha had, the serum could have been responsible, but that seemed unlikely. Either way, it was a curious thing. Travis managed to evade his kick with this new power, then appeared above him. Something didn't seem right here, he had felt this before. Though, before he realized what was going on a blast of telekinetic force hit him, flinging him toward the ground. He hit the concrete, his durable skin causing a crater on impact. Anticipating more attacks Lucius quickly reached to a control panel on his wrist, activating his repulsive field.
The next three telekinetic strikes didn't make it through the field, and it was still up so he would have some time to get up and gather himself. He realized he had been tricked by an illusion, it was to fast for him too realize, but now that he knew Alpha possessed the power, he could perhaps better defend his mind against it. Getting up, he brushed himself off, focused his mind, then looked up to his attacker., who seemed to have not teleported but simply side stepped his attack.
"Playing with my head Travis?" Lucius said, if only to let his opponent know he saw through the trick, even if he was to late in doing so. His armor was a little screwed up now, and he was feeling some effects of that fall, but no major injuries, so he could continue without a hitch it seemed. His mask was gone unfortunately, so that meant he was inhabited tech wise greatly, but ultimately he didn't need it. With a specific movement of his feet his thrusters activated once more, sending Lucius at Alpha. He charged up energy as he approached, the red glow radiating off his body even created a streak as he sped toward his target.
Once he got close enough he sent out a pulse that spread out in all directions, ripping through the nearby buildings and pretty much anything it touched with ease. If Alpha took it straight up of course he would be incinerated, but Lucius knew he would at the very least dampen it with his telekinesis. It was a basic attack, but a very powerful one. This is usually how Lucius fought, he sized up his opponent, attempted to take them out with low end attacks, and if that failed, he showed them just how powerful he really was.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
It appeared his attacks had been brushed off with minimal if any damage, proving that he couldn’t damage Lucius very much with just that level of force. Yet, pushing himself to the extent that would do damage would likely only do damage to him, rather than the meta-human. If the damage was minimal then, all Alpha had to do was amp up the power a little, or perhaps a lot. ”Well Lucius, it looks like I should stop playing around with you.” Just as he had said that, he would find himself being rushed as the illusion faded away like a mirage shimmering within the air. If they wanted to rush him again, well Alpha could always meet him with another attack. Do enough damage that he could not function, outdo that regeneration of his, which was his aim now.
That being until the pulse of energy would radiate out from Lucius, powerful enough to inflict painful burns all along his body. He wouldn’t heal from that within their battle, so he would need to think of a way he could counter it, while his mind seemingly slowed the world around him. Drawing a telekinetic barrier around him, Alpha would project it downward to punch a hole through the incoming attack in more an effort to avoid being burnt up than anything else. Still, to Red’s eyes he would see what appeared to be him creating a barrier around himself as the wave would tear it apart and hit him with the remaining force. Taking this chance, he would move as the illusion likely kept Lucius busy, floating there if only for a moment.
The illusion would have painful looking burns upon his body, mostly his arms and torso, appearing as if their breathing was beginning to grow slightly pained. ”Ow, looks like I underestimated that attacks of yours.” The illusion spoke examining their own wounds before looking down to Lucius. ”Looks like I need to get a little more serious.” Almost as if reacting to something, more of these Alpha’s would appear, from the rubble of the buildings that Lucius had reduced to dust. All of them looking about as damaged as the one floating within the air. Rapidly all of them would surrounded Lucius, but it was now more difficult to tell which the real one was.
All of them raised their left hand, unleashing what appeared to be telekinetic blasts far more powerful than the ones he had used before. Only one of them was real however, but which one was the question.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
So it seemed his attack had hit the male, for a moment Lucius even thought to stop and end this little duel due to Alphas burns, yet it seemed he meant to continue regardless of the injury. Suddenly dozens of Alpha duplicates appeared, obviously an illusion but Lucius was having a bit of trouble focusing due to the sheer nature of the trick. They all raised their hands before his mind could focus on the real Travis, and he was hit with a incredibly powerful pulse that sent him flying down the street and into a car, crushing it. He grunted, that was definitely the biggest hit this entire spar. The car was crushed behind him, he had the wind knocked out of him momentarily, and his thrusters were all but obliterated. A few bleeding gashes could also be seen through his dented chest plate.
"Ehg....That actually hurt." Lucius grunted as he stepped from the smashed car. His mind began to adjust once again, and he could now see what was real. Targeting Alpha Lucius sent about four cars flying with some solidified energy. They were all headed straight for Alpha but there real purpose was distraction. In the moments that they bought Lucius geared up for an attack, generating energy beneath their feet and then pulling it up. It tore and obliterated the ground, and even sent the already half destroyed buildings tumbling down. The entire area seemed to explode into chaos, rubble shot everywhere as the pulse traveled upward with its focus on Travis.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
The telekinetic pulse had hit Lucius dead on, knocking them from the air and into one of the remaining cars as it would be reduced to scrap beneath him. He had hit him with considerable force, but that would likely not be enough to take him down. Still, he knew that within moments his illusion would be seen through and that meant Alpha would have to adapt, nothing more than that. Still, even with the damage done Lucius’ regenerative factor was likely more than able to keep up with the damage that he had done. It appeared he would have to show off what he could really do, whatever that even was now. Alpha didn’t quite know the limits he held now, so he would have to perhaps push those unknown limits.
Lucius would toss a few cars at him with his own energy, though they were easily batted aside with a thought. These vehicles were nothing more than a distraction from the main event, which was a pulse that seemed to span even wider than the prior one. What remained of the buildings around him would crumble from the sheer force, as the attack would barrel towards him. Concentrating as much as possible, he would unleash a burst of his own to meet this attack. The very air seemed to distort as if reality itself were being twisted on the point of the attack, and within a second the two attacks would meet with a deafening boom. In fact the force has been enough that Alpha had not managed to protect himself completely from the sheer pressure coming off from two blasts meeting.
Within a second, he found himself being forcibly thrown back through the air and through the wall of the last remaining building, despite how ruined it looked. Normally he would have gotten up from the attack, but something sharp coursed through his side. It appeared that for a moment he had injured himself, and unfortunately he didn’t quite have the regenerative abilities of Lucius. There was the taste of copper in the back of his throat, blood if he remembered it correctly. ”It looks like I lose this one.” He muttered one hand feelings over his side, finding what appeared to be a bit of metal sticking through his side. Biting down, he slowly removed the foreign object, before forcibly binding the wound with pressure, enough pressure hopefully that he would not start to bleed out.
If Lucius wanted to see a show of power, then he would likely regret ever asking for it. Despite the pressure he was putting on himself, it was nowhere near enough to hamper his power. Pain, it took more than pain to weaken him, he would not be taken down like this. Raising one hand palm upwards, the very street began to rumble, large fissures opening within it. Lucius would find the very ground beneath him rising. The strain was immense but he didn’t stop, letting his control over the concrete continue to exert itself, as the building around him fell, yet it didn’t touch Alpha.
”So Lucius, how about we wrap this up?” Within an instant the very street beneath himself would rise as everything from buildings, to metal to anything would begin to wrap around Lucius with immense pressure. A single strike of blood ran from his left nostril, running over his lips. Regardless, this was perhaps the last attack he could muster up.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
The meeting of power was like nothing even Lucius had ever seen, the pure energy of the two attacks was so lethal it was almost beautiful. Even with Alphas quite solid defense he had been thrown back by the sheer force of the two powers hitting each other with such power. Lucius knew that had done something, though the extent of the damage to Travis wasn't apparent until he came walking out. There were some visible wounds, but the male seemed to want to continue, quite the iron will for nothing but a spar. Travis stuck his hand out, nothing out of the ordinary happened but Lucius still half expected illusions.
The road rumbled beneath his feet, literally lifting Lucius up and wrapping him in just about anything that happened to be close enough. He was encased in a cocoon of urban scenery, the pressure was immense, so immense in fact Lucius heard at least two of his incredibly strong ribs break along with his chest plate. Any normal person would have let out a grunt at the very least, but Lucius wasn't what anyone would call normal. There was a few seconds of silence, Lucius was encased, and it all paused. But then the cocoon exploded, shattered at the sheer corrosion the crimson energy gave off.
"That.....was a terrible pun Alpha." Lucius said with a smirk, then gesturing with his hand. What formed from the energy was something more complex then what Alpha had seen. Men, tanks, anti aircraft guns, snipers, and even stealth bombers were created with solidified energy, all up to scale with your standard army men. It was one of the less serious things Lucius had ever created, but it did manage to cover a lot of the field and nearly surround his target.
A general looking construct then stuck out his hand, as if giving the order to attack. Almost instantly after the entire army fired, shooting red energy bullets, missiles, bombs, you name it. The construct jets sped around, firing streams of red energy from their miniature chain guns. The purpose of all this was to batter Alpha with as much energy as possible, and if he could so easily evade one attack, why not hit him with thousands of smaller ones?

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
All had grown silent as the cocoon of urban scenery had formed, floating within the air as a few pieces would fall away. Just applying that much pressure was enough to cause daggers to shoot through his head, making even concentrating a painful task. Within an instant the construct created to contain Lucius had shattered, red energy reducing it to nothing as larger fragments would begin to fall to the ground with loud booms. Lucius had managed to escape the construct with seemingly no injury, though he had hoped something would break within that pressure. The moment the concrete had been released, his mind had grown almost grainy, as even his vision began to waver.
It took all of the energy he had now just to stand, as a little more blood began to seep from the wound on his side, staining the white shirt a dark red. Still, it appeared that Lucius was preparing something, creating a large amount of constructs that would likely unleash some manner of attack upon him. He was surrounded, and escape did not seem likely even through illusions. ”Well damn, looks like it’s about to get messier.” Alpha sighed under his breath as the red energy would be fired rapidly upon him.
Creating a psionic barrier around himself, Alpha would attempt to weather as much of this as he could. While it appeared to be doing well, his wavering state was made almost too obvious when it broke and the remaining fire would break through. He had to think, and there was only one thing he could do really, as an illusion of a smokescreen would spread outwards from where he was standing, one of the rounds taking him in the shoulder and barely breaking through his defenses. Still, the pain was like a thousand knives considering the acidic effect of the energy, nearly drawing a pained growl from him.
Taking advantage of this, he would tear a hole in the ground under him while another round hit him in the right thigh, shattering the bone and causing blood to rise from the wound. Falling downwards, he would cushion his fall with some energy, floating above what appeared to be clear water floating through a sewer system, blood running from his legs as it was washed away. For now he had dodged most of the attacks but Alpha knew he couldn’t keep up with all of these injures being placed upon him. The battle had been decided the moment he took damage, the moment he made this mistake.
Even if Alpha wanted to, he couldn’t keep in fighting. Pain would cloud his judgement and in the end, he didn’t have the rejuvenating powers Lucius did. Within an instant, the world around them would fade, melting away much like paint on a wall as it bled away into nothingness. Within a few seconds, they would be back within that large white room which was untouched. Lucius would be standing where he was and Alpha would be slumped against the wall, one hand over his side with three spots dark red spots progressively growing larger.
”Well I guess that means I lose this one.” He said barely even conscious.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
The construct army did its work, but Alpha threw up some kind of smoke screen so it was hard to see what was happening. Regardless, Lucius continued to fire until the room returned to normal, which happened pretty quickly after forming his army. As soon as Lucius saw it was over, he dispersed his constructs. Alpha seemed to be barely awake and bleeding, he needed some medical attention.
"I guess this means we're even then..." Lucius said, referencing their first little duel which Lucius lost. Alpha likely had some form of advanced medical equipment here, but the quickest way was to get Leo over here to heal him.
"Daniel, grab Leo and get over here." Lucius said into his communicator. In mere moments the teleporter and Leo appeared. Lucius gestured toward Alpha and Leo was off, approaching the male before letting his light bathe him. In just under a minute Alpha would be fully healed, if a bit sore, but it was better then doing it naturally, even with Alphas enhanced healing.
"What were you guys even thinking? We're super humans for gods sake, not UFC fighters. Either of you could have been killed." Daniel reasoned as Leo finished, standing up from his crouching position.
"Yeah.... this is the second time in a few days I've had to heal someone because of 'friendly fire'." Leo stated, taking Daniels side.
"I don't need you two to lecture me, i have a feeling Omega and Gamma will take care of that." Lucius said just as Gamma came through the door into the room.
"Speak of the devil..." Lucius muttered to himself.
".......Lucius, i swear, if another one of my siblings is hurt by you, or any other member of your little cult, I'll be the one bloodying you." Oliver said, calmer then what was expected, yet still filled with the same amount of spite. Gamma made his way over to Alpha, offering him a hand to stand up.
"Are you alright Alpha?" He asked, concerned for his older brothers well being more then anything.

Re: So we're making babies together? (Alpha)
Pain had given way to numbness, and for a moment he felt as if this was what death was like. Everything was fading away, life and everything else seemed to insignificant, everything he had been trying to do so pointless. It was almost sad, that realization of pointlessness but now even the sadness was fleeting. He felt as if he were rising upwards but a proverbial hand jerked him back down, back into darkness followed by a warm light washing over him. With the light came consciousness, and a lack of pain. He had passed out for a moment, eyes closing before slowly opening once again.
The first thing he saw was Gamma looking over him, despite hard exterior he could sense the worry within his tone. That’s right, it all wasn’t so pointless, so long as he had them. Despite the near lack of lucidity, he couldn’t help but smile even if softly. Nothing was pointless really, he had so many reasons to keep going on. ”Yes, I’m fine.” Alpha said with a small nod, pressing one hand against the smooth white floor to support himself in the effort to rise to his feet. It was obvious the moment he assessed his surroundings that Leo had been responsible for healing him, making them only more useful to have on hand.
His wounds had stopped bleeding and he could stand without pain, meaning that his injuries were all better now. His attention then turned towards Omega who was lingering at the entrance of the room, not bothering with judgement when he knew that would do no good. If anything, that was just how he worked and he had accepted that by now. ”Besides, you could say I gained a little valuable data from that.” He then went on to say, grimacing slightly at the dark red that was now staining his clothing, ruining the perfect white cloth. Overall, it clashed with a certain sense of aesthetics he carried but not as if that was important at the moment.
”That was careless of both of you.” Omega said rather simply, not going into slinging spite around like Gamma had. ”Should this fight have ended in his death, you would have not left this place. Keep that in mind before doing any hard core sparring.” he said before turning and leaving the room. Alpha sighed softly, scratching the back of his head.
”I suppose that answers your question about my capabilities. I’m not really accustomed to battles that stretch on like that.” He stated simply rolling his shoulders as the joints popped loudly. ”That will be something I need to fix.”
