The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
The Ultra Gang would reconvene in an empty office building after their respective missions were finished. So far everything was going as they planned. The power plant had been shut down, power was out throughout most of the city, the police had been subdued and the city was on the verge of a state of absolute panic. Yeah, things were going well for them. The only downside was the instant interference that came from all those heroes. Seriously, they got here really quickly, and were still around to try and defeat the villains. As to be expected though. That wasn't going to stop the Ultra Gang in their efforts to take this city for themselves. Before they moved on to phase 2 of the takeover, they were having a quick meeting to discuss what needed to be done. Having the meeting in an office building was just fitting.
"Good work everybody. Even with superheroes showing up so soon into our attack, we still successfully completed phase one. Now we've got this city on the ropes. It's time to press our advantage and take this city. We're switching up the teams to keep them from figuring us out. This time it'll be Red Tide and his companions, along with Tsxero. You'll be further sowing the seeds of fear among the people of this city. People running around in terror only benefits us after all. It will keep those heroes distracted. I recommend attacking a hospital, but ultimately do whatever you can. The rest of us are going to city hall to force the government to surrender. Lastly, if you see any of those heroes that tried to stop us, kill them on sight." Deathbringer concluded his speech to his teammates. Now it was time to begin phase 2.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
The first phase of the mission was a total success, yet Lucius still felt defeated. He limped back to his vehicle and drove to the meeting place that was designated before everything started. His healing serum did well in healing him of his wounds, he had been burnt quite badly yet he was back at full strength by the time he arrived at the office building. He made his way inside and noticed he was one of the first to get there. He saw his allies Leo, John, and Daniel standing in the meeting room with worried faces.
"That got rough back there, i wasn't sure if you made it out or not..." Daniel said looking to Lucius with a concerned look. Lucius walked past the male ignoring what he said, then took a seat at one head of the long table. "I hope you all know what comes next. I know at least one of you doesn't have the stomach for it, and i will respect that and let you stay behind for this phase. But know this, these things are necessary to achieve our goals, its survival of the fittest." Lucius said to his three allies, focusing his attention on Leo. The kid never had it in him to take lives, and mass murder was even harder for him to justify. But he knew what he signed up for when he accepted Lucius' offer, he would have to toughen up.
Deathbringer came into the room soon after and assigned groupings and gave directives, then was on his way with his chosen party to city hall. It seemed Lucius and his posse were paired with some kind of alien that joined up with the gang. Lucius wondered what he could find out by examining one, although it would be difficult and probably not worth it he couldn't help but be curious. As soon as Deathbringer left Lucius turned to his team and modified the directives given by the gang leader. "Don't engage any of the heroes if you encounter them, play cat and mouse. Try to cause as much chaos and fear as you can, you'll be surprised how much they can help with the destruction when pursuing a 'villain'. You three will be on the streets with the alien as directed, i will be going after the hospital." After saying this Lucius got up from his chair and changed out of his suit into civilian clothes.
His plan for taking out the hospital was simple, walk in disguised as a civilian then plant one of his hi-tech bombs, once he was out of range....BOOM. There was no way any of the heroes could know that was his target or know he was the bomber, he would be met with little to no opposition until the fireworks started. He put his suit in his car and drove down the chaotic streets as people rushed out of the city, news of the plant and police station spread quickly.
Lucius arrived at the largest and most centralized hospital in the city, he stashed his car then started walking toward the entrance. He saw that patents were being moved, likely to be air lifted to the next town over. Lucius ran up to the entrance frantically as if he were a concerned family member, moving past the doctors and patents on stretchers unquestioned. He slowed his movements once he got into the hallways, looking for a good place to plant his explosives. He saw an air vent above him, he quickly removed it and threw his hi-tech bomb inside. Closing the vent he made his way back to the exit, everything was going as planned.
Meanwhile John and Daniel were killing helpless civilians in the middle of the city. Setting fires and generally instilling fear. They were mostly a distraction, if any of the heroes were to come after anyone it would be the people murdering in the streets, not a random civilian at the hospital.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
Compotents knit back together, the suit speeding up the repair process by an exponential rate in the hopes of being able to allow him to keep going on. The painkillers were still in effect, though how long they would last he had no way of calculating personally, though luckily the suit was more than capable of showing that in the HUD. Projections of the villains possible targets would blip up upon his visor, projections they were but then again the suits processors were there for a reason. They could do things he could not, caluclate and process far quicker than his limited human mind. ”So many potential targets.” Colin muttered, the progress of the repairs still showing on the lower left hand corner, a meter slowly filling up with percentages beside it. ”Hospitals might be one, and with so many sick and injured.” He bit his lower lip, the horror that would ensure more than enough to push him forward, no one deserved to die like that. He would not let them die like that, even if it cost him his own life.
”Khellendros, I think I have a possible lock on where they might strike next.” he said, before streaming the information from the suit to the mercenary directly, see if they would weigh in upon what the data had suggested. His heartbeat was beginning to elevate, shown by a curving line upon his visor, suggesting an increased amount of stress, as his mind would fill in the blanks. He could not fail, not again, not when there were s many people counting on him. The suit would scan a map of the city, revealing the nearest hospital, and within an instant he would lift into the air with a low hum. ”Khellendros, you and your ally come with me.” he would say before flying off, the wind whipping past him as he would fly through the air at optimal speeds. ”Why can't this thing go faster!” he growled, wishing the suit had been built with more powerful thrusters, yet some arbitrary design limit kept him from reaching beyond the maximum speed.
He was closing in, faster and faster yet it felt like he was not going fast enough. His mind continued to conjure up images, of blood filling the streets, people crying for rescue and him unable to do so. It was upon arriving that his worst fears were realized, as soon as he saw the carnage within the streets, and his heart dropped into his stomach. ”No no no.” he muttered under his breath, trying to gather his disjointed thoughts, and only coming up with nothing more than confusion. So many innocents were already dead or dying, corpses lining the streets and fires spreading around. Within this moment, he felt rage rise up like a wave, washing away reason and replacing it with nothing but blind fury. One of the killers were obvious, the alien he had tried to take down not too long ago, though now incapacitation did not seem as glamorous as it did before. So many human lives thrown away, but for what reason?
The guns would rise from the wrists of his suit, unleashing a small flurry of energized bolts down upon the ones killing. They were well aimed, meant to avoid civilians, only meant to hit those that were causing all of this chaos. This was only the beginning, perhaps just to give them a sign he was there, that they were all doomed.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
"Directives were to cause chaos. Order your lackeys around but don't presume to call me that racial slur and then me to do what you want." Tsxero snapped at Red Tide before shoving one of the little minions aside. He had his own idea of where he was going to go, and he was perfectly fine with pissing all over that filthy human's plans to do it. Actually, for calling him an "Alien" he almost wanted to ensure the guy failed. He'd find a way to keep Deathbringer's plan in line, but if Red Tide got his ass handed to him it was fine by Tsxero. Alien... his race had been on this planet since before Tsxero was born, since his mother was in her middle ages, and she died young at 150 years! His race was not "alien" They belonged here just as much as anything else. They were just newer and less explored. Seriously, these bastards don't call big-foot an alien and they're still trying to find the damn thing. Tsxero would love for them to find Big-foot and breed them, the one he ate in Wyoming was delicious. Little Cajun blend of spices might not hurt- oh hey look he was at his destination!
Tsxero didn't know how to fight the Master Race from first hand, all he had were tale and convictions sent down from mother to son, one leader of the people to the next. The Master Race had a code of honor to all living things...except his people. Funny how that works out. They did not believe that harming children was honorable. It was liable for your execution or for honor-restoring suicide if one had been involved with the death of a youngling from any species. If this were true, then Tsxero was in the right place. The school he passed to all that long ago? Guess who came back? Here's a hint, he's got opposable thumbs and is a savage were-alien who thinks the term Alien is racist. That's right, this guy!
Tsxero reached up and ripped the rope that bound the American flag above the school's flag pole and he proceeded to rush into the school. His first course of action was to find all the custodian closets and maintenance closets to dispatch the adult humans and take from them what he saw fit. Next he burst into a classroom, little children cowering everywhere as Tsxero growled and looked around. Suddenly this adorable little girl walked up with a bis smile and began to pet him. "It sounds like kitty!" the little girl said. Tsxero stopped growling as his tail froze, no longer making it's entrancing back and fourth movements. The little girl just stood there, doe eyes as Tsxero looked at her, holding his acquired loot in his hands. There was a stare down going on here...and...Tsxero wasn't sure who was winning. So he quickly swatted the girl in the back of the neck with his tail, knocking her out but sparring her life. He then looked around the classroom.
It would be a little while, but he knew the member of the Master Race would come. When he did he would have quite the surprise waiting for him. Tsxero knew that a member of the Master Race would see this building and not crash in abruptly, knowing that there were younglings of a race here. Knowing this, he could figure that said Master would then land outside the building and run up. But things were different now. When the member of the Master Race landed, Tsxero opened the door, and he emerged from the shadows with a low and menacing growl. Behind the walls Tsxero had plundered many things. First he needed the cleaning chemicals from the maintenance department. Then he needed the chemistry lab. The chemical the humans called "acrylic acid" woulf be most useful, especially when making a threat or gambit like this. Tsxero also went to the kitchen and yanked the stoves out, leaving them running and allowing methane gas to leak out..highly explosive. Tsxero planned to trick the Master into killing these children, and then forcing him to end his own life.
Of course that were not enough. He stepped forward, revealing himself and he revealed what he had done with the scraps of his plunder. Behold the Were-alien as he was armed to the teeth, each arm bearing armoring, his chest and his back, each leg as well. covered in an array of rope, duct-tape and everyone's favorite armor!!!!!

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
"Malys, dig yourself out as quickly as you can without getting the civilians hurt and then follow my signal. Vanguard, I believe that the data you gave me is fairly simplistic. Their plan is to generate as much chaos as possible for some other part of their plan, they'll be hitting major traffic and population areas. I'll head to the major hospital in the area, it seems most likely that they'll hit one of those where the concentration of helpless targets is highest."
Taking off in the direction of the hospitals, Khellendros started pouring all his intellect into the problem at hand. "Alex, I need the biggest hospital in the area." Alex processed the information given by Vanguard and produced the most likely options, choosing the most centralized one he took to the roofs of the buildings, jumping from building to building to avoid the panicking civilians and traffic in the streets below.
He eventually arrived at the hospital in question, he leapt from the rooftops and landed in the courtyard in front of the grand edifice weapons and shield stowed away so that he presented as little of a hostile feeling as possible for a 7 foot tall armoured giant amongst a crowd of scared civilians. Walking into the building, he quickly started to question any staff members that came within range of him, he eventually found a doctor who looked to be in charge of the situation. "How far along is the evacuation?" "We have maybe half the patients moved outside and more being prepped inside, is the fighting headed this way?" Khellendros couldn't know the enemy plan but he knew tactics, and if he were a group of assholes like these guys, he'd probably do something to cripple and panic the city in a way to make it feel like nowhere was safe. "I don't really know for certain, I believe that this place could be a target but so far this attack has not made complete sense to me. Act as though you are being targeted and get these people out of here." "We already are, thanks for the advice. Are you one of those heroes we've been hearing have come to the city to put an end to this?" Khell couldn't help but smile behind his helmet, "No, I am a sword for hire, the label of hero is better suited to those who deserve it such as yourself. Good luck doctor, I'm going to do a sweep of the building to make sure that no one has already been here to do mischief, have you seen anyone strange enter the building? Anyone who looks as if they don't belong?" "None that cross my mind, and good luck to you also, I really do hope you don't find anything, these people are bad off enough as is." This was when Khell saw a civilian coming down the hall towards the exit that didn't sit with him quite right. Is it just me, or does he seem a little too calm for the situation we're all in right now? Leaving the audio to his helmet on external, "Alex, start scanning the building for ordinance, begin scrambling signals that don't belong to emergency personnel and if you find any areas that you can't scan, note them immediately and notify me." "Yes sir." Walking over to the man he casually reaches out to put his hand on their shoulder to stop them, "Excuse me citizen, I was wondering if you might be able to assist me in a task?"...
Malys about 25 minutes ago
"Will do Khell. I will be along as soon as I am able." Malys was trapped beneath several tonnes of rubble. This would be child's play to escape if I didn't have anyone else to worry about. "Everyone, I'm going to need some assistance from all of you to get us out of here safely. See what you can move without collapsing this area we are in and once we have enough space, I'm going to have you all gather under me before I throw this rubble off of myself, hopefully freeing us without any further injuries." Hopefully with me helping with the digging as best I can, we can get out of here and I'll follow Khell quickly enough, a half hour at most if I can move the bulk of it without shifting this mess. Here goes!

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
Lucius walked down the halls of the doomed hospital as fast as he could without garnering attention. He got an incoming call on his communicator and started to walk and talk with the earpiece. "What" He said bluntly back at the caller. "The alien led us to a school, some stuffs going down with a hero but the mission seems to be going well without much hindrance. Where should we go from here? Daniel asked through the communicator. "Get down to St Mary's hospital with the alien and wait for the fireworks...." Saying this he hung up and went around the last corner before the exit.
To his surprise he found a 7 and a half foot tall armored tech knight standing in his way, he attempted to pass him unnoticed but instead was stopped. Lucius didn't have time for this, he had a job to do. This guy obviously knew something or at least felt suspicious about Lucius or he wouldn't be at the hospital and he wouldn't have stopped him, looks like he would have to take him out. "You had to stop me....out of all the people here you stopped me.....that's to bad for you." Lucius was confident his words would slightly confuse the armored hero, and what would happen next would take him off guard even more.
Grabbing at the mans hand that was on his shoulder Lucius would send energy pulsing from his body into Khellendros. The result of the sudden pulse of energy would likely cause horrible pain and stun him long enough for Lucius to make a quick follow up blast with his hands directed at Khells chest that would send him stumbling back if it hit. After making his surprise attacks Lucius lashed out at the nearby doctor, grabbing him in a choke hold and threatening to snap his neck. "Unless you want more of that pain i gave you, and of course this doctor to live, you'll let me pass." Lucius said smirking as he sidestepped past the potentially hurt hero. From there he would slowly walk backwards toward the exit hostage in hand. Pressing a button on his communicator he would call his allies to his aid. "I need you three down here, i have a situation with a hero down at the hospital." He said quietly covering his mouth with one hand to make sure the armored guy couldn't make out what he was saying.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
His scanners would flash across the battlefield, taking in the destruction, bloodshed and various other things. It was this sight that had caused anger to well up within him, a poison that bubbled within his gut and continued to fester there while he flew fast through the air. It was upon catching sight of the alien upon the flagpole, that he had a feeling that he should stop him from causing damage, as from what he had calculated it was likely to do just that. The suit had calculated the force behind the strike that had damaged it, his attention turning to the counter timing how long he would likely be able to function before collapsing. It wasn't long, just enough that he could hopefully take this thing down. ”Prepare synchronization drive.” he muttered, the words enough as a low hum would radiate through the suit. This should speed up the whole process, though it had been warned that the damage could be palpable once leaving the sync.
Still, the speed of the thing was enough, as his scanners could keep up with it, but overall he was unable to match the thing in the end. Landing, he would let the suit do a small scan of his weapons systems, prepping to take the thing out without wasting any of that time. It was within this minute that something was happening, and the thing appeared before him, yet what it was wearing was enough to give the hero reason to pause. Behind the visor, his expression twisted into one of pure shock, mostly of the gall that the alien had to use people as weapons. ”The bastard.” He would say lowly, the voice mechanized through the visor, though even then the anger was palpable. He was using the children, taped to his body as some kind of armor, all of them squirming around. It had made an armor that his blade could not and would not pierce, something that he could not bring himself to strike.
His teeth ground together, Colin trying to hold back the anger, the desire to strike. There were two things he could do, well three things, and more coming up by the second. The main two however, seemed to be try to strike at an exposed area, or leave this be. “The presence of methane detected emanating from the school.” The ai would warn him, only making this even more difficult. If he shot and somehow missed, it was likely the unstable energy his suit was powered by would cause the entire building to blow up, causing anyone inside to die. He had no idea how much trouble he would get himself into for trying to defeat the alien, yet what could he do? ”Alright alright, I now when i'm beat.” He said putting his hands up and keeping his scanners upon the alien. ”How about you putt he kids down and we can do this..civilly?” He didn't really want to, but it was innocent life. He couldn't have them die because of his own foolishness.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
"Civilly? Like how you killed my brother? I let children off AFTER You lower shield." Tsxero demanded, his voice breathy, the best equivalent being one of those Reikling things from Skyrim. Of course it would likely take the person by surprise since the person really didn't kill his brother. He was hoping the Master would think for a moment, preparing to refute it. If so, this was good and as Tsxero had planned. It took the attention away from the shadow behind him. The shadow that formed up and with a heavy alien tail would swat him in the neck, right were the nerves crossed. The force behind the blow would be enough to at least propel the man forward if he didn't lower his shield. After that Tsxero could just raise his arm up and use a child to shield his face as he closed in and literally full force drove the Master's head into the pavement, hopefully rendering him into the state of a K.O. Tsxero looked over to source of the surprise attack, none other than his little brother, μrsine X. Of course, if not then there'd need to be a fatal strike when he turned to react to μrsine X.
"Take. Home, now. Return for the other." Tsxero commanded. μrsine X scoffed as he sunk into his own shadow before grabbing Vanguard. It was probably that μrsine X would drag Vanguard into the ground and return Vanguard back to the colony. That would be an experience. Meanwhile, Tsxero picked and prodded at the duct-tape and rope as he turned to return to the school, where Red Tides minions were waiting. Tsxero pried the children off himself, one of the children giggled. "This is the best game of cops and robbers ever!" the little tyke called out hollering with laughter. Tsxero shot a warning growl to Red Tide's minions, warning them against acting against the children.
"We need to get to St.Mary's." one of Red's minions spoke out, garnering Tsxero's attention. Tsxero held up his hand and then held up a single finger. Not the middle finger, but that would have been funny. No he held up his index finger, the universal sign of "hold on a second" before rushing off and reattaching the stoves to the gas pipes. More survivors means more food later...or that's what he told himself anyway.
Tsxero quickly made his way back to the chemistry room, going over to a small fumigation area, or rather a ventilation area for chemical gasses to escape and not cause harm to the students. It was a box like device hooked up to the ceiling with a fan on the interior. The center was very large, about seven foot tall, which was something Tsxero loved because it was more than enough for what he needed. In older schools, especially ones like this, the chrome looking finishing was added as a second layer on top of a lead plate. Tsxero saw the technology that man had, and he knew how the Master's worked. He also knew how people like Iron Man worked, and he was deathly scared of being detected by any means. Ripping one part revealed no lead. Not good. Ravaging the second one. No lead! Damn it, did they modernize? Wall three aaaaand- LEAD! Ripping out six small piece of lead, Tsxero began to use his body to punch holes in walls as returned to the same location as Daniel, the minion of Red Tide.
Tsxero then took off and had a specific goal in mind. He ran down the hallway to find the security officer he dispatched. A gun on hand, pepper spray and most importantly a disguise. Tsxero quickly returned with the body, dropping to his knees as he began the agonizing transformation process back. Immediately following he was stripping the corpse down and putting on it's personal effects. No blood thanks to the means of murder being a broken neck. He took the gun, the cap and the security jacket before moving by the lead wall. Tsxero, in his human form looked up to Daniel.
"Alright. I need one of you to contact your racist master and tell him EXACTLY what I'm going to dictate to you before we go there." Tsxero said as he looked to Daniel. His plan was simple and precise. His plan would work. Now all that they were waiting for was to get up and go.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
It seemed like their efforts had paid off, Malys had more than enough room now to get out from under the rubble heap she and these people had been trapped under. "I'm going to lift up the top layer, everyone get beneath me as closely as you can, I don't want any of you to get hurt." Testing one last time, she finds that the pile above her is consistent of much larger chunks that will lift up and out of the way and not disturb the rest of the rubble now that they had cleared away most of the loose debris and testing to see if any of it would collapse in on them. With a great heave, Malys levers the remaining rubble out of her way and everyone gives a sigh of relief as sunlight shines down upon them. After making sure that everyone is out of the heap and many thanks for saving them, Malys takes off after Khell's signal, eating the distance away as she simply flies over the buildings. "Khellendros, is everything all right? Why are you at hospital?"
Khelllendros was not sure what this man's game was, but when he suddenly spoke up, Khell knew he had made a mistake in touching this man. When the man reached for his hand, he pulled away quickly but still caught some of the energy discharged at his arm, he gasped from the pain, it was the most excruciating thing he had ever felt in his life and it was only just a fraction of what had been intended. Trying to keep the pain at bay he almost didn't see when the man reached his other hand forward aiming for his chest, he twisted to the side to avoid that hand and the pain he was sure it would have brought to him if it had made contact. That hurt, better not let that happen again. And then the man grabbed the doctor from earlier and threatened pain and the doctor's life. Well, I just wanted to talk and now you're being a dick? There is nothing down that road but misery for you. Malys' inquiry chimed in at that moment, "Get here quickly, we have a situation. Message when you get into the courtyard." When Red call's for his backup, Khell's audio inputs are equivalent to the finest parabolic microphones available, covering his face did no good versus that kind of hearing capability. Hearing this guy call him a hero causes him to start laughing, "A hero? Why does everyone keep calling me one of those? As for your threat..."
Khellendros will launch forward and attempt to break Red's chokehold on the doctor and then hurl Red back down the hospital hallway with bone-shattering force (Khell's 6 vs. Red's 4). Regardless of whether or not that succeeds, he will proceed to draw Wrath and Aegis and then say "Heroes are squeamish about brutally mauling their opponents, I have no such qualms about making sure an enemy is no longer capable of returning to the field. That's tactical thinking and what wins WARS! You, who lacks honour and would threaten the lives of non-combatants, you face the Black Knight, Khellendros! I do not negotiate with fools and certainly not those who would resort to harming those who are not part of the fight at hand, prepare yourself."Clicking off the external audio, "Alex, put on Caffeine and prep the overdrive for combat, I'm a little pissed off now." "As you command sir" And then he will launch a brutal attack on his opponent with Wrath. If the sword connects, Red might just need the help of the doctor he just threatened.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
The creature spoke with a guttural tone, unmistakably English, but the speech itself was a little difficult to understand. It was the statement noted that caught him off guard, something about killing his brother, but this was the first time meeting one of these things, let alone even fighting one. ”I don't know what you're talking about, but okay.” Still, he couldn't help but feel that this would mean his death. His heart rate was accelerating, showing by a pulsating line upon his visor, only thirty seconds until the painkillers would run out. Reacting upon his thoughts, the field would crackles into view, before peeling away. Now he would have to wait, to be sure that the alien actually let the kids down, but what he did not expected was the strike from behind. A pressure striking him in the back of his neck, the strike registered upon the visor.
The result was a low sound releasing from his throat, as his body would fall to the ground with a thud, consciousness fading away.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
Lucius watched the man pull away, but the man obviously had gotten a taste of what he was working with. He couldn't help but smile, that wasn't even an attempt to kill and he was forced to pull away. It seems as though his powers were growing much faster than he anticipated, though still so much slower than he desired. Lucius was not as skilled as Khellendros but he was not inept when it came to combat. All he could manage was to let go of the man and step back. The black knight would try and deliver a devastating blow. Damn! was all he could think. No matter how he handled this situation he wouldn't be walking out of this unscathed. But if you can't entirely protect yourself you should always make the damage worth taking.
Lucius braced himself as he unleashed a pulse of red energy. Khellendros would strike him for certain, but to touch Lucius was to make contact with a pulse of powerful red energy (7 Ability worth). If nothing else they would both be feeling the same damages to one and other. The very nature of the red energy was a lingering one that corroded matter like a poison, so even after the initial blow the black knight's armor would be feeling this. Lucius was indeed sent flying back before rolling over and coughing. He was looking worse for wear already. Granted this was intentional, part of a greater plan.
Thanks to the skills of Alpha's massive family, Lucius was still in fact linked with Daniel through the hive-mind powers of Omega. Daniel had informed him of a rather interesting plan that Deathbringer's obnoxious attack dog had thought up. If nothing else Lucius felt relieved that the brute had SOMETHING of a brain to work with. "Keep coming. This might just be fun." Lucius said as he held out both hands. Red energy shined out and the energy flew out towards Khellendros, but it didn't hit him. The energy actually hit just before Khell and the ceiling above where Khell stood. The energy would eat away rapidly at the floor and the ceiling. If nothing else he'd have to step back a good couple feet as Lucius took off running down tangent hallway. Get the alien here now! Radiology is a good place to drop him in, it will keep him blinded from X-ray and thermal! He commanded mentally before talking into his communicator. "Abort the mission!" He called out into the device.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
Daniel did as he was instructed. Soon Tsxero, Daniel and the other racist-man's lackey had arrived within radiology, more accurately it was the M.R.I room. Tsxero looked around before wondering where his few pieces of lead were, but shrugged when he realized where they were. He didn't know if this would work at all, but he had hoped it would. The first thing Tsxero did was draw his gun and held it like a typical police officer. He motioned for Daniel and for the other one to stay put. "Hey! Don't forget we have that dragon to worry about too! There's a bomb in here too we gotta hurry!" The teleporter said in a hushed tone. Tsxero smiled and nodded. The plan was simple. "Tell the racist to meet me in the basement." Tsxero nodded enthusiastically as he made a rush for the stairwell.
In the basement Tsxero ran and maneuvered himself through the environment. There was the caged narcotics area, mandatory by law, and then there was the emergency generators. He had to find some way to corral them into this smaller than average room. Small spaces were his friend, and he knew that. Quickly he started looking around for something he could use... anything really. Tsxero smiled when he realized that the answer was simple. No matter which of the two ways they took Tsxero could run into them if he simply waited long enough. The good thing about basements was the concrete. Nice and thick. He got down on one knee and checked his gun, hoping that the plan could go accordingly.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
"Sir, armour integrity is being compromised by strange energy." "What the hell is this stuff? Analyze. And polarize the armour, try to disengage or purge it." Khellendros didn't like the idea that someone could corrode (even if only mildly) some of the strongest earth-forged metals of the time, he couldn't allow someone like that with obvious ill-intent to go unchallenged. "Sir, ordinance located, target is carrying detonation device." Saving graces I guess, good thing we're jamming signals already. Although, his communicator is still working regardless, not a good sign. "Location of ordinance?" "Ventilation duct on this level" "Good. Malys, I've located an explosive device and am trying to contain the one responsible for it, keep an eye out for this guy." Khellendros sends an image of the unknown meta to Malystrix over the link "If you see him trying to leave the building, use caution. He is capable of emitting some sort of corrosive energy, it's affecting my armour. Hit him with the Tesla, if that fails, burn him, I do not want him escaping and setting this thing off while I dispose of it." "You got it, I'm outside and circling now."
"Abort the mission!" Good, if he tries to escape while I handle this bomb, he burns. If he tries to stop me from removing the device, I'll cut him down, no big deal. Khellendros made his way around the energy field his opponent had left behind, he cut through walls where necessary to save time. A little damage is easy to cover and more favourable than the whole building exploding at least. Finding the device, Khellendros pulls it carefully out of the vent in question. "Scan." A few seconds later, "Device is wired to explode by remote detonator, several countermeasures are in place to discourage tampering." I do not have time to play with this thing while that asshole is still in the building. "Alex, how far away is the nearest body of water and in which direction?" "Lake Springfield is to the southeast of current location, approximately 14 kilometers." Hefting the device slightly, Khell figures he has more than enough strength to get it there by more... unconventional means. "Malys, keep jamming signals up and running, I'm getting the bomb into the lake since I don't have time to sit here and disarm it." "How are you planning on... Oh it's like that time in Peru, isn't it?" Smiling for no one to see. "Exactly. Unconventional, but effective containment."Heading to the exit with the bomb, Khell steps outside and checks all factors before winding up and hurling the bomb away from him and into the air in a perfect arc towards the man-made lake in the distance. That takes care of that, now for the other problem on hand. "Keep an eye out, no telling what they have planned now that, they're primary objective has been disrupted. I'm going after him, looks like he went towards radiology, probably going to have some problems communicating in there even with the advanced tech, bloody magnets."
"Be careful, no telling what these insane people will do next." Landing on the roof of the building, Malys focused her sensors on the surroundings of the building and tapped into the security feed of the hospital, the system firewall was laughable under her onslaught of data. "I'm tapped into the security feed, looks like you're right, he is headed to the radiology wing, possibly to the MRI chamber, he doesn't seem too panicked about you following him though..." "That's odd, he seemed rather confident earlier too, I'll stay alert. Thank you Malys."
All is set, his enemy seemingly cornering himself, he began to pick up his pace although with some caution, he doesn't want his enemy to know that he thinks something is up, making sure his shield is ready, better that the shield take damage instead of his armour, he heads into the radiology wing looking for his quarry.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
Lucius wasn't chased it would seem. That was good, though he had a very strong thought as to what the hero would be doing. To take care of the bomb eh? It was utterly perfect. Now Lucius could gather up his power and level the entire building with a powerful pulse of red energy. He began to gather it, wondering where his alien associate had gone and wandered of to. Lucius was in the middle of his charge when he took note of Khellendros stepping into the department.
"It's a shame. Too few people out there have the power to create the things you have. Looks like it's going to be one less too!" Lucius said between his teeth as he moved to unleash the blast forward. Just then Tsxero came around the corner, gun raised at Lucius. "What!? What is this?" he wondered to himself, wondering why Tsxero was now returned to his human form and in a security- oh. So this was the plan! Surely the alien knew guns wouldn't be of lethal effect on Lucius, but their enemy did not. How fitting. Lucius was already in motion but he was able to discharge the energy early, blasting Tsxero on the left arm, the corrosive energy eating away at the wound as Lucius let out a grunt as his body rippled form the impact of the bullet. Falling to the ground blood would flow form Red's chest, but not in copious amounts. He was obviously still alive, but he would appear to be struggling. He and Tsxero were no farther than six feet away from one and other before the pulse that nicked Tsxero sent him back a couple feet.

Re: The takeover of Springfield part 2: Terror in the streets
So the racist one was here early? That wasn't expected. Thankfully he came form the other stairwell, which means that's where the prey will follow him from. Tsxero had to play it safe on this one. He didn't know exactly what his threat was, but all he needed to know was that if it opposed the racist one he knew they were likely of the heroic variety. The hero types all acted the same. Show a little valor and selflessness in order to help them and they feel awful about something bad happening to you. The only thing that Tsxero felt bad about was the fact that this person was someone he secretly liked. Not because he even knew them, but because they were pissing all over this racist bastards parade. He wouldn't let his sympathy and admiration get the best of him however. Especially when the time for action was almost at hand. Tsxero turned the corner as Red Tide delivered his little speech, finally coming into view of Red tide and Khell. Seeing Red gathering energy he immediately turned point and fired.
Tsxero was nicked. Success! Holy fuck this hurt. Epic fail! Tsxero was writhing for a moment as he found himself incredibly lucky he had learned to control himself for the most part. He was whimpering and letting out pained cries as he grappled at his arm, the bone exposed at this point from the antics of both Vanguard and Fuck-face McRacist. Letting out heaves he picked up his gun and looked to Khell, as if questioning him if he were friend or foe. He then looked to Red Tide who wasn't moving and then back to Khell as if questioning him for a moment.
"Ah..ha...d-did...did I kill him?" He asked obviously scared that he had actually taken another human beings life. between pants, sweat forming on him form the sheer amount of pain as pieced of his arm meat and flesh literally plopped off like hamburger on a sizzling grill. A "third degree burn" like that wouldn't have pain except the epidermis layer being eaten still. Tsxero was obviously scared and in pain. All of it legit too, that little sucker of a man hurt!
