The Legacy

Personality:

Unaware of her true nature, Kiva believes herself to be of a proud warrior caste of a fallen undersea kingdom. She believes she was raised from birth to fight, and as such shows many signs of a typical warrior's ethos- strong and honorable, respecting strength and power above all. Surface culture astounds her, wondering why women are so passive in finding mates, why people are so prudish, why revenge is not encouraged, etc. She will not be shy in confessing her admiration for a strong male, and will readily come on to them to procure strong "blood". The Alien programming was deliberate in this, as they are aware of the surface world's obsession with sex and mating.

History:

When asked about her history, Kiva will give this brief summary. "I hail from the kingdom of Azalant! For all my life, my people have been fighting a losing war against the alien invaders. Our scientists tried to adapt their technology, and for a time it seemed we could win on the battlefield. When our King, mad with paranoia, was killed by treachery, I knew what had to be done- I must find allies among the surface heroes to reclaim our rightful home!"

In reality, Kiva is a bio-engineered construct, a masterpiece of the Alien Elders. Her memories were programmed into her, and she was created for the express purpose of infiltrating the surface world and the ranks of its heroes. In truth, she is the latest effort of their program to undermine earth's society, to study them thoroughly in a manner their standard agents could not.

Once her ready, she will be "released" to the surface world, yet another meta-being in a world full of strange and powerful creatures.

The Powers and Weaknesses

(All characters can be as powerful as they want, as long as they are balanced with proper weaknesses.)
Powers

Power 1: Alien Physiology: Stronger, Faster and Tougher than humans, but hardly superhuman level. Will go down to heavy fire power, high caliber fire arms, and explosives.

Power 2: Regeneration: When immersed in Sea water (including wearing her Sea Suit), Kiva's tissue rapidly regenerates.

Power 3: Psychic Nerve Cords: What appears to be her hair are actually highly developed psychic sense organs. When in physical contact with another being, Kiva may communicate effectively, bypassing language barriers and convey information at a much faster rate.

Weakness(es)

Weakness 1: Sea Water Breather: Needs sea water to survive. She can't breathe air and begins "drowning" if deprived of her survival gear.

Weakness 2: Aquatic Adapted Physiology: Conversely, Kiva heals and metabolizes very poorly when exposed to air or fresh water.

Weakness 3: Poor Communication Kills: Without telepathy, Kiva can only communicate basic ideas via her suit's speaker. It's like listening to a fish underwater talk.

RP Mechanics

RP Mechanic(s): She's a Fish Person - Very visibly and culturally non-human with very funky alien equipment. She has gills, so she drowns in air. Having Shark DNA means she's a dedicated carnivore, more than willing to take a bite out of someone. Her skin is also rough like sandpaper. Woe the man who admires Kiva and not have superhuman durability or is wearing chainmail.

RP Mechanic(s): Autonomic Technical Knowledge - Capable of maintaining and repairing all of her own equipment, as well as operating and appropriating Alien DNA locked technology. The Aquatic Aliens' tech, anyway.

RP Mechanic(s): Nerve Cords - her "hair" is actually a psychic sensory organ that permits Kiva to telepathically communicate with her "people", or so she says. In truth, they serve as a one-way psychic link to the Alien Elders, allowing them to see, hear and experience everything Kiva does. All other beings, she must be in physical contact with.

Items

Azlant Sea Suit - her default attire, a regenerative and durable membrane-outfit filled with pockets for holding seawater as well as extracting moisture from the air to replenish her water. WEAKNESS: The membrane cannot effectively seal up when taking too much damage.

Azlant Power Armor - Aquatic Power Armor, granting her immense protection and enhanced strength, as well as high speed and maneuverability in water. WEAKNESS: Wearing the armor on dry land reduces Kiva to an awkward waddle.

Sonic Blaster Cannon - Standard Azlant Power Armor Mounted Weaponry. Can cause destructive resonance in objects to literally break them apart. WEAKNESS: Can only be used effectively Underwater. Using this on land prevents a concentrated attack, instead creating a sonic pulse in a radius around the weapon before conking out. ERROR 404 WATER NOT FOUND.

Vibrostaff - A combat staff that utilizes the Aliens' Destructive Harmonics, allowing her to deliver powerful kinetic blows. WEAKNESS: Requires the user to wear power armor, lest the weapon vibrates its own user apart. Can be used as a regular combat staff.

Others - Ceremonial Coral Dagger, mementos, shells of defeated enemies worn as decorations.
