The Legacy

Personality: Karn is a alien with a mission, he just doesn't know what that mission is yet. He feels a force that tells him his destiny is greater then that of a simple warrior. This feeling drives Karn to explore the universe and try to find his true calling. Karn is very introspective, often lost in his head thinking about his dreams and personal demons, this often causes him great anxiety in stress which he has been known to take out on others accidentally. Years of constant combat has caused Karn to be cold on and off the battlefield, seeing his friends die over and over again has made him very selective of who he allows to get close. When not out exploring Karn can be found either toying with some piece of technology or reading about something obscure, he loves to keep his mind busy. Animals have always been the warriors soft spot, finding they tend to be considerable more compassionate than most life forms. Traveling and seeing so many different ways of living has made Karn very open minded, believing people should be allowed to live there life however they want, it has also made him a bit of a rebel finding that Military or Government types with power always end up being selfish, greedy tyrants. Music makes Karn feel alive on the inside, it always manages to bring him out of his dark moods.

History: Life on Relika was similar to that of the Spartans, at a young age boys lives are nothing more then being trained to fight and schooling. The harsh landscape forces you to be strong and capable or you will be a easy target for one of the many monsters outside of the city walls. For the first hundred years training and war were enough for Karn but as time ticked on he lost the fire he once felt when he chopped his opposition in half. Gathering his limited supplies he went off in his small spaceship and has been bouncing from planet to planet trying to find somewhere he feels at "home."

The Powers and Weaknesses

Powers

Power 1: Reactions - Years of combat have honed Karn's reactions to the point when he is focused time seems to be slowed down considerably.

Power 2: Intelligence - Karn's race is hyper intelligent, thus he was born with super human intelligence.

Power 3: Healing - Nanomites in his blood stream cause Karn to heal at a tremendous rate. Life threatening injuries can be fully healed in a minute.

Weakness(es)

Weakness 1: Focus - For Karn's reactions to truly work he must be focused which can be hard for him if filled with emotions.

Weakness 2: Durability - Karn's body is no more resistant then that of a human in peak physical condition.

Weakness 3: Prolonged Use - The nanomites draw energy from Karn's life force so each time they heal him he becomes slightly more winded, in long battles this can prove to be a major problem.

Items

Item 1: Pulse Rifle - A standard Xieglord combat rifle, capable of switching between semi and full automatic. Instead of firing ballistic rounds it fires power pulses of energy.

Weakness: While it never has to reload continuous fire will cause it to overheat forcing Karn to not use it until it's cooled down.

Item 2: Rivera - A blade looted from the dead body of a warlord on a distant planet, this thin sword is capable of cutting through thick steel walls with little resistance.

Weakness: The blade is quite bulky making it impossible to wield in small confined areas.
