Personality: Milla Anna Masters is quite literally that of a curious child, a newborn who is getting to experience life for the first time. She will take any and all oppertunity to learn about new things and she will relentlessly try to learn and inquire about all things confusing and try to understand. Milla is naïve is nothing else, and she is unsure where morality lies, as she is fairly new to the world and has yet to experience much.
When the Fae soul awakens within her, Millennianna is a strong, independant individual with a strong moral code and a kind heart. She's still very timid however and tends to shy away from confrontation. She is good-hearted and while she's highly kind-hearted it does not stop her from being manipulative or unkind. Millennianna is a true patron of the arts, loving anything to do with writings, painting, or music. She is also fond of shiny objects.l Their value means nothing...it should just be shiny. She is also above the reproach of others, generally not caring about what people (unless they are really close) think of her. As is with the Fae Millennianna cannot lie, will not lie and see's no reason to lie.
History:
Milla Anna Masters is a test-tube subject from one of Travis Master's sick experiments. Well one could call them sick as in unnatural, but no lives were ended in the creation of this body so it's all good. She is not very old to be sure, taking only a couple weeks to form inside the tube and now finally being free, Milla is free to live amongst her siblings. She lived along side of whomever was willing to take her in, she was willing to do whatever in order to learn and gain knowledge or experience. Being female it wasn't expected for her to consistently be at Travis' side like his favorite, but she could learn, she could watch and wait, and soon enough she could create. But not before a truly enigmatic event. She had a dream, a nightmare. She dreamt of a white-knight in strange armor, he had wings of light and he was looking for her. He finally found her and he shook her as if trying to wake her, promising that he was coming to save her.
Milla awakened to find herself feeling cold, yet enlightened to several events in the world, despite her never having left the area. She could feel things, sense things and tether to people's mana, though none understood what this was and it was simply written off as telepathy of some kind. Further more, Milla found herself with the syndrome of "I think, therefore it is" in which she learned how to disguise and hide her power, as they were of a more soulful and magical nature. Though her alteration based "corruption" which morphed things into her summons was still a valid and known power, known as Psionic alteration.
- Chapter 1:
Millennianna Masters is always born into a world as "Milla Anna Masters", though that is not who she is. The truth is that long ago in a realm that is not this one, the earth was a beautiful place, but also a dangerous one. Earth was inhabited by both Man and Fae, though the latter lived in total mystery amongst the nations of man. The Earth was covered in magic energy, magic that the Fae had access to, magic that the humans did not. As a result, the "mana-grid" or the natural magical energies of earth were kept in total balance by two courts of Fae, the Seelie and the Unseelie. These courts were of little importance, but from an outsiders perspective it was always obvious how these courts influenced the world, and to that extent it was always interesting to watch events unfold, especially when it came time for "The Solstice" when the sun reached it's lowest point on the age of mankind.
The Mana-grid began to stall, freeze and land was not getting the magical essence it needed for survival. Akin to the arteries of a 1000 pound man on taco-tuseday or a night out to Pizza-Hut, the Mana-lines...the Lay-lines were stalling and clogging. The system of "Magic" in this realm was that all magical energies gamed from the mana-grid, and when a spell was used the mana would return to the mana-grid as "Inert" energy, and would be recharged back as Mana when it made a cycle through the mana-grid, thus energy was every truly lost. When the grid began to clog...INERT energy never returned to certain areas, and rather than be refreshed by the mana-grid it built up. Soon the negative effects of "INERT" energy became clear, random fires, lakes turning to lava and an entire world turning black as death. The Fae's use of magic harmed this world, and there was nothing they could do to stop it. To this the Fae turned to the only thing they could. Seelie and Unseelie alike turned to the one they revered as "The World Builder". While the Fae would not call her a Goddess, to human kind she truly was the closest thing they had seen the Fae come to a religion of any sorts. To this end she was called the Fae's "Goddess" out of simple convenience and as the generations of Fae went on, they began to lose focus of the fact she was not a Goddess. Digressing back to the world and it's current state: They turned to the World Builder with the desire for an escape. The Seelie Court holding to their tenants believed that Beauty is life, and their existance was robbing Earth of it's Beauty and it's life. They sought for a way to purge the Mana-Grid from the World Builder. The Unseelie, on the other hand, blames the humans who tried to emulate their magic, and they cursed their "technology" for their pollution of the world was equally as sullying as the use of Magic...the Unseelie believed that the humans should have just accepted their place as beings of no magic, and the world would have been fine... thusly...they wished to purge the world of humankind.
The World Builder did not answer their "prayers" or their pleas, rather it watched as the Fae made enemies of each other, as they continued on and made fools of themselves and put the earth even further on the brink of destruction with their (senseless) use of Magic and glamour along side their petty desire to prove superiority. The World Builder watched the Fae, and how in their immaculate beauty, had devolved and degenerated to the ways of man, while man tried to unite and destroy the Fae, who were far too preoccupied with each other. The Fae had lowered themselves to humans' standards...and now humanity would beat them with their experience. For a wolf fighting upon savage tactics wins in the woods when a man who's held a crossbow and sat in a tree has never had to truly fight. The analogy fit...and The World Builder watched as her people, both Seelie and Unseelie were crushed and driven into hiding. The world was on a witch hunt, the Fae were being enslaved, branded with magical inks to keep them from calling upon their mana or glamour. They were little more than cattle now, and what was left of a once might and great peoples of secret, was exposed to the light of "Origin" (The Human "god") for all to see. The Fae were driven back, the Seelie and Unseelie still at odds, and humanity closing in for the kill. It was here that The World Builder came. In their Solmen hour, The World Builder appeared before the Fae... not asn an immaculate being, but as one of them that had been hiding within them all along. She stepped forward and as she rose her hands, vnes of the forest sprouted to life, trees began to live and walk blocking the human armies. The world Builder turned and with the wave of a hand, a large beam of light, a mix of brilliant blues, passionate purples and pinks began to pull in the Fae, urging them towards it, beckoning and appealing to their weakness of shiny things.
The World Builder was the first to enter, telling them to follow her, as she would show them the world she had made for them. The Fae followed her, and when they arrived, they had arrived in their new home. An Eden, a perfectly balanced land with mana-grids unending and no technology. They were safe of human's jealousy, safe of their offensive technology... They were in Arcadia. The world without technology, the lands of mana. The World Builder explained to them that this was the compromise she found. For Earth shall return to it's former beauty and it would prosper in the care of the humans. The Seelie achieved their desire. The Unseelie were simply pleased to be rid of the pesky humans, but now in Arcadia, with The World Builder they would have balance, and they would have peace. Peace very seldom lasts forever though, and to be completely honest the peace of Arcadia was bound to end. The World Builder foretold this, and she was right. She left the world, telling the Fae that she was leaving, she was allowing herself to die so that she may know the peace of death as their fallen brethren. She vowed that she would return one day, however... and as soon as she left...a new rivalry began.
- Chapter 2:
The World Builder was reborn, a nameless woman in the human world. Enslaved and beaten as a Fae, brought up to know that Origin was the only way to Utopia, and she believed it. She was a regular Fae in a world of humans. But soon, there was conflict. Arcadia was in turmoil and the Unseelie had returned to Earth. The world was mostly clean and clear, returned to it's former glory (as promised) and the Mana-Grid was healed, unblocked by unknown powers. The Unseelie had reoccupied into earth, setting themselves up in earth, positioning themselves as an army of magic and glamour to keep the humans under control, and ultimately eliminate those who did not comply. There was now turmoil in both realms as war was waged in both. Arcadia was fine, as the world was meant to take the abuse of the mana-grd and was safe form being clogged, but Earth once more was in peril. This time, however The World Builder would stop them. Not as a Goddess, but as a regular Fae of unknown alignment. Together she was able to win the affections of a Seelie Fae known as "Puck" and an Unseelie Fae known as "Mab". With these two compatriots she would once more set out to make things right between the two worlds. Durring these perilous times, her compatriots would defend her, only to meet an enigmatic man called Rioing, and with his assistance they were able to uncover the secrets of The World Builder and The Fae Soul within her. These four stood as a united front against all fae, all man and all adversity as they set out to once again divide the two worlds of Arcadia and Earth.
In the end, it was only with the powers of both Seelie, Unseelie and a Fae of unaligned descent, that they were able to divide the worlds, hopefully forever through the use of an ancient artifact known as "The Origin Stone" something that The World Builder knew nothing of. Her time in this would once more was cutting down, as her mana was expended far too much, and her life essence could not be sustained. Puck watched his "sister" die with a broken heart, Mab watched "her little girl" die and they were lifted away to Arcadia by mystical forces, the seal between the worlds beginning to weave shut. But there was hope, as there was a vision to both Puck and Mab. They had the same dream, The World Builder, as they knew her, spoke to them both in the same room, telling them the ways in which the Fae should conduct themselves, and her wish for one day, the Fae and Man to exist in harmony...regardless of race, and regardless of Court. Of course, even to her trusted allies, it fell upon deaf ears. Soon enough, the Fae were at odds once more, and eventually Mab did the unthinkable...she broke the seal between the worlds, after millions of years...she and a large group of Unseelie, fled to earth away from the Seelie.
- Chapter 3:
Mab and the Unseelie came to Earth, and immediately it was believed that there was going to be a war. None remembered WHO/WHAT the Fae were, but many knew to fear the powers of Magic that certain Fae held, while the ones with the marks were suitable slaves. The Unseelie occupied and began to set up concentration-camp like places to round up humans and experiment with magics, trying to find a means of any kind to reach akn end that no one knew, nor could follow. The world tried to unite for war, but the Unseelie drove them back. The Unseelie agreed to a truce, but alas they are a group that follows the tenant "Honor is a lie" and so the truce was eventually tuned upon and now Human societies are governed by Humans...but the Unseelie do as they please, and none dare oppose them. Because of this the Unseelie were viewed as fiends, demons and awful monstrous creatures, while the Seelie slowly began to appear on the scene and make themselves known as benevolent god's and dieties to be worshiped and revered. They were there constantly trying to find and influence the events of the mortal world, but from afar in Arcadia. It was here that Legend and truth skew.
Unknown means granted both Seelie and Unseelie knowledge of a very specific event that was occurring. The world was backing up once more but this was no cause of the Fae, was no cause of Man nor any deficiency of mana. This was a world, roaring and raging for it's creator. As such, every Millennia there was a child born, with the "Fae Soul" the embodiment of the "Fae Goddess" or better named The World Builder. These children were unaware of tho they were, and they were unaware the power they held, but there were others aware of them, and THAT was what made it dangerous for them. Both Seelie and Unseelie greedily tried to gain control and find "The Millenia Child", though never before were they successful, each an every single time the Millenia child died, or eluded them in some way.
Soon these "stones" in the world were discovered and they were dubbed "The Weeping Stones" because of their ability to dry out INERT energies that accumulate and then channel it into a healing water that could heal even the most grievous of wounds if given enough time. These were believed to be artifacts left by the Fae in a time when they ruled the Earth, though this is not entirely accurate it was what the world believed regardless. Eventually an enigmatic entity named Sheroid Digiein appeared amongst the Seelie court, but he himself was a Fae with no alignment or heritage. He seemed to have information regarding the next Millennia Child, and it was because of this Sheroid Character they came up with the name "Millennianna". Regardless, The Seelie continued to appear to the humans as if they were messangers of Origin, now called "DEI ORIGIN" and they continued to keep on the lookout for this "Millennianna" to appear under the name of "Milla Anna Masters" a name of regal origins, showing her family has a surplus of Fae slaves.
It took a good while, but Sheroid Digiein found her in a small town where none would have believed to look, and just as he predicted it was true... she was the bearer of The Fae Soul.
- Chapter 4:
Milla Masters was a regular student in a little village that was known only for her family's large farm of slaves and food production, as well as her brother's blacksmithing. To this she was an average girl, always kind to the Fae and never ordering them, rather making requests and rarely allowing others to speak to them in harsh ways. She found herself sticking up for those whom had lost faith, and to this end the Fae slaves all respected her as knowing and understanding the struggles she saw. Milla's best friend however was a young boy who lived with his older brother, their father an enigmatic but kind soul was killed inexplicably though foul play was suspected the boy was never informed of this. This boy only knew that before he died he was told "I'm proud of you. You'll do well in life. I love you Silus." Before being sent on his way to help his brother with the herbs. After losing his father, the boy Silus, grew close to Milla and from there the two bonded as virtually brother and sister. Of course when the day came and Milla was recognized to be the Fae Soul, the people urged her to follow the wayshrines to Arcadia, Silus insisted he go with them, and his older brother Grigori accompanied them along side the enigmatic mercenary Sheroid Digiein.
Along their path, Sheroid taught Silus how to use a sword, and a shield. He taught the boy the secret of a unique style of weapon known as "Fae-Blade" and he was able to teach a few tricks of Glamour and Magic to Milla. Grigori even took a liking to Sheroid, constantly seeing if he could somehow win his attention, the typical "Notice me Senpai" mentality while he continued to belittle and berate Silus' "child-like stupidity" which aggrivated Sheroid immensely. Their paths crossed and they made their way to the wayshrines one after the other, no problems to be encountered. That was until they met the Unseelie. The Unseelie captured Milla and Silus while they were waiting at the Inn and Grigori and Sheroid went out for supplies. It was here when Silus and Milla noticed the owner of The Fae Soul, and with it she had the capacity to do great things. Silus led her out towards freedom out of this little Unseelie holding cell, and Sheroid found his way in. Mab, The Unseelie Queen arrived with her Champion: whom Silus, Milla, and Grigori fought as Sheroid pitted his magics against the Unseelie Queen.
In the end, Sheroid was victorious, but his cover was blown. The Unseelie queen pointed him out to be more than he was, but by time it could be initiated, Sheroid took Milla and flew away on wings of light. They pursued Milla and they found themselves at the temple where Millennianna was always found dead. This was a terrible omen, but this time things had been different. Sheroid confronts his former allies while the Seelie Champion arrives and takes the girl to arcadia. After defeating his former comrades he spares them and returns to Arcadia, leaving a portal behind for them to follow. Obvious bait, but bait they were willing to bite at. Finding themselves as humans in Arcadia they were truly out of their element. A world of Magic when technology to them was a big deal, and technology being so primitive. While in Arcadia they resolve to bring Milla by any means, and hunt for her and for the treacherous Sheroid. By time they are actually able to get to Milla, it is sadly too late. She had been lobotomized as part of the process to removing the Fae Soul, and Puck himself was the attempted soul-theft. Puck roved to be far more...wicked than the party intended as he gave them a brutal smacking around before leaving them for dead. It was by Sheroid's hand alone they survived to tell the tale. Confused by Sheroid and his curious liability to switch sides, the group opts to forsake him. Of course that was BEFORE he revealed a plan to recover Milla...but it would take a year or so. They disrupted Puck when he was at his strongest, and now he would need to wait a full year before having the power to remove the Fae Soul, and so they had time to train and reach out to the Unseelie.
The Unseelie were all to happy to oblige the chance to invade Arcadia and stomp Puck's army, esecially when the Unseelie Queen was at her power-high season. With this assitance they rescue Milla, but the Unseelie Queen proves fickle, as she betrays Sheroid and binds him, leaving him for Puck to deal with his treachery before departing back to Earth to take the Fae Soul for her own purposes. Thankfully. Silus and Grigori are able to take Milla ans flee, leaving Mab in the dust. In their hour of need, Silus goes and relies on rumors to finding a healer who knows of how to cure the soul sickness caused by Puck's attempts. To their surprise the healer is a little Fae Child that looks to be about Silus' age at the time. It was by this little Fae's help (Zephyr) that they are able to restore the mind of Milla, in which she awakens and realizes her true self...and begins to request being called "Millennianna" by all except Silus. Zephyr then leaves with the group and they venture out in order to find a way to stop Puck from capturing Millennianna once more. Their next Fae encounter is with the Unseelie queen who reveals a rather dark truth. It was Puck and his Seelie Court whom attacked the humans, framing the Unseelie via their code and to turn humanity against them. This was not too much of a surprise, but the true surprise was to find and learn Puck's plan.
Puck intended to remove The Fae Soul from Millennianna and place it within the body of the old World Builder whom was once like a sister to him. His ultimate goal, however was to pump Earth full of INERT energy and cause a cataclysmic destruction, while lifting the loyal servants of humans up in order to create a world where (some) man and Fae would live in peace. He hoped then The World Vuilder would look at what he had done for her, and perhaps she would love him... though the confession was true...Platonic, or Romantic it was unsure. To the World Builder, even Puck was a jealous and mischievous child...always wanting her attention. The Unseelie queen confesses that her plan is to sacrifice The Fae Soul to restore the Mana-grid to eternal alignment that they worlds may never suffer again. This is al well and good, until Sheroid reveals it as a partial truth. While she cannot tell a lie, she altered it to make it seem as if that were her only intention. To this Mab strikes out with her full strength to quickly try and end Millennianna, but Sheroid places himself between the blast...granting Mab some...useful insight. The wounded Sheroid then rested with his "allies" in a small hut that once served as a travelers shelter. It was then that Mab infiltrated the shack and woke Silus, telling him he needed to see something. Silus, regretfully got up and went out to see what she was talking about. She found Sheroid, surrounded by Seelie and Unseelie with his weapon drawn. Mab held her knife to Silus' throat and told Sheroid she knew who he was, and that if she valued life then Sheroid would not stop them. They took Millennianna in her sleep To this Sheroid did not stop them. Puck, on the other hand...repaid a debt with a debt...as the Seelie code demands. He pulverized Sheroid and flung him to the woods. Grigori and Zephyr emerged and Puck flew away on wings of light. Silus ran off into the woods, Zephyr and Grigori not far behind. He found Sheroid...but he was within fatality. They took him to a nearby cave, an old run down shrine to the Fae...lo and behold there was a Weeping Stone. Sheroid cursed the stone, apologizing to it and saying he knows he doesn't deserve it's help, but pleading for it to undo the damage he had done.
The weeping stone worked as he lay there for hours, Silus and Zephyr outside as Grigori confronted Sheroid.
- Chapter 5:
The confrontation with Sheroid proved useful, as he confessed to Grigori everything. His despising of Grigori stemmed form Childhood, his love of Millennianna stemmed from Childhood, but Grigori needed no more explanation than when Sheroid detailed out their father's murder... Sheroid WAS Silus, but somehow older and different. Sheroid revealed to Grigori that in his time line, Puck won...the Unseelie lost and the earth was gone forever. He only survived because he Grigori kept the attention on him, and Zephyr gave Silus blood transfusions of Fae blood, slowly altering Silus' body to the point he wasn't even genetically the same as he once was. He was not man, he was not Fae, he was something between them, something different...but he came back in time to make sure they saved his "sister" that they saved The World Builder Millennianna. To do this though, they needed more time, and so he shot back farther in time and created "The Weeping Stones" and blamed their creation on the Fae. Weeping stones are then revealed to be Magic positive rocks that act as vacuums for INERT energy, and that the stones are charged with eternal PURE magics... and those pure magic charges..are the souls of Fae and man alike. Sheroid recounts over 20,000 Weeping stones...each with at least two souls...one of man and one of Fae. HE did this all to save the world and save it they would...
They gathered their little party and went to the Unseelie, to confront Mab, whose forces had already fell to Puck, who drug Millennianna back to Arcadia for one final attempt to resurrect the world builder he once knew. Mab reveals they have no hope left, save for Dei Origin...the Human "God" or rather..the equivalent to a Human World Builder. Sheroid then reveals that he is the key to harnessing Dei Origin, as his name itself is an anagram. SHEROID DIGIEIN unscrambles to be He IS DEI ORIGIN. After an expense of his mana and all of his the magic within his fae-blood, Sheroid is expended and he summons forth the soul of Dei Origin, which goes to Silus and envelops him...and ultimately through the time continuum, fills Sheroid himself. Sheroid then arms himself with Faelor and the runic markings of the Fae and sets off with Silus, who weilds the soul of Dei Origin, and with the assistance of Zephyr and Grigori they defeat Puck. Death before dishonor, a Seelie tennet was abided by, and Silus left the decision to Milennianna, whom spared Puck and told him he would be forced to live in the world that SHE created, and that death would not be an escape from his shame.
From that point forward, Silus and Millennianna bid farewell to Sheroid who would leave to help run things in Arcadia alongside Mab, and undo the curse of The Weeping Stones. Millennianna wished to stay with Silus and Grigori for as long as she had. Eventually the day would come where Silus needed to go back in time and ensure he is there AS Sheroid to fulfill his part...where the Sheroid who helped/betrayed/ultimately saved them now returned to Millennianna's side where he belonged...the time lapse between Arcadia and Earth proving that it would be as if he spent 5 hours away from her since he jumped back in time, but in truth him not having seen her for eight years.
- Chapter 6:
The World Builder suffered her end once more. The Unseelie Queen Mab, Sheroid and Zephyr were unable to save her this time, as Puck...holding up to the Seelie code of never forgetting a debt, sought his vengeance, this time using magics to cast The Fae Soul into the Void between realms. Enraged, Sheroid imprisoned Puck within a weeping stone and attached it to his armor and went off with the secret magics of the Unseelie Queen Mab, to follow the Fae Soul and return Millennianna to the place that she belongs. Her soul ended up here, in the world of Super-Hero RPG as a test tube baby...
