"I will speak with him in the morning, for better or worse. What happens will happen, regardless of what we expect. We can only hope that it is not the end of the world." He smiled at his own halfhearted joke.

Xyron looked up in surprise, then burst out in a grin. "Of course! I would love nothing more than to be there for you on your wedding day!" He smiled as he looked towards the ceiling. "Though I suppose you might need to ask Pain or Slam for a bachelor party. I am not as...experienced...in these matters as they are." He laughed. "Look how easily a small amount of good news can turn the tide of a conversation! Have you set a date yet?"
