Whole Soul: Blackskull and Secrets (Closed to Morire, Raiku and Victoria)

Whatever just caused Ellida to shake as she did was obviously a powerful swimmer. Matthew could sense the presence of another being, though he knew nothing of whom or what it was. With narrowing eyes and a sigh he would simply wait out the assault the Kraken-like tentacles were making upon the Dragon. Ellida let out a loud booming Roar that send vibrations through the water. Arching her majestic dark head she looked down into the creature and opened her mouth. A cannon fired out and crushed the creature's one appendage, though who knew hoe many it truly had. Matthew found himself rather intrigued however by the sudden "salvation" which had befallen them. Granted, Ellida was able to take some damage...however it was not without toil, and tremendous effort on his part.

"What have we here?" Matt would ask himself. Ellida roared again and fire out another shot, attempting to help the creature that assailed their under-water threat. Ellida began to lift herself in speed, and shot out, allowing the fastened tendrils to pull upon her. Having been blessed with her mater's regenerative prowess, Ellida had no fear of Death, and she would not allow the creature to cause them delay. Hoping the powerful "ally" was enough to force the creature away, Ellieda swam in the opposite direction, pulling at the tendrils as Xia pushed the creature the other way. Tendrils would break, or they would be forced back by the force of Xia's might. All one could do now, was hope for the best.

The massive beaked head of the beast drives at Xia's head as she rockets toward the creature, however the dragon, hit or not, moves through the assault, and drives through the heavy hide of the creature and the water turns dark from the sudden spurts of blood...

As the dragon boat starts away, the creature entangles its tentacles both to the boat and to the bottom of the sea floor... acting as an uncoiling spring...

a long long moment passes, and then it releases the floor... hurtling at the boat with extreme speed, and dragging xia with it... it hits the side with a mighty slap, hoping to capsize the living, and devout follower of Matthew.

Xia reflexively closed her eyes as the tumult of the beast's movements happened all around her. She grunts in pain at the creature trying to smash into the boat, but her tough skin held. Angrily, she clutched the beast in her clawed feet and jaws, and started flapping, attempting to lift the whole beast out of the water to render it at a disadvantage. She clamps down hard to sink her claws into its flesh.

"Enough of this." Matthew said as Ellida began to rock, the creature roaring as it fired out. "ALL HANDS BRACE YOURSELVES!" Matthew's voice sang above all others as he grabbed firmly onto the mantel. Matthew's eyes closed and he stomped on the deck. Ellida's wings spread with draconian terror as the beast's wings began to flap, the ship itself taking to the air, pulling with all of it's might as it allowed Xiao to assault the beast below. Matthew looked down to find that Eliida was successfully pulling at the creature, bringing it towards the surface. Matthew watched as Ellida about faced and charged down at the Kraken-like creature, hoping that between it and Xiao the powerful beasts would shred the creature. Ellida, upon a successful turn, fired of a cannon shot, plunging it into one of the creature's eyes before it attempted to assault the beast.
