Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

The Pursuit For Knowledge [Closed to Sim/Victoria]
Why don't you go to school?
Well, that was because she as never able to, she never had the chance, nor the decor. Hell, she never even had the possibility of doing so in her time. Staring out at the college from the distance, often enough, she was enjoying the sights of the world around her. She had never had the time to actually view them, see them, during her existence in this world. Well, whenever she time travelled here before the paradox effect trapping her here..she had wondered if she had truly existed here. Considering her existence was constantly blipping in and out.
Wandering onto the campus, the people stared at her, were wary, the cops even lingered around watching her. She couldn't blame them, they were the protectors of this society? Like the protectors she was at home..fuck, she was feeling home sick. She missed her brothers and sisters dearly, despite blipping in and out what would be seconds at a time. It felt odd, obscene, but she did not do much of anything. Sitting down at a bench, the gauntlet on her fingers felt as if it stared back. We'll figure out a way to reverse this Sai... I know it's straining you mentally... He said to her, his voice soft, comforting. Clenching her fist, the gauntlet only seemed to glow an eerie plasmic red as she looked up at the people staring at her.
Odd, maybe she could go to the library? Then again, they probably would not let her in, not in this place. not with how she looked, but there was no way in hell she was going to give up and break through the barrier and cause problems. Not now, probably just wait around, linger about...see who else was here.

Re: The Pursuit For Knowledge [Closed to Sim/Victoria]
"What do you mean let go?"
The loud heavily accented voice was punctuated by a gloved hand slamming down on the Dean's desk. Despite Standing at only five feet even, the German woman dressed in all black was fairly intimidating. Her black hair fell straight down to her shoulders, and made the fury in her blue eyes seem more striking. The Dean's voice seemed nervous as he addressed his recent hire. "You're very talented Miss Ursler, but there is a code of conduct out faculty have to adhere to. When we hired you for the teaching position despite your...history, you promised you wouldn't have a problem with this."
Alina removed the hand she had slammed down on and met the dean with an indignant stare. "I have no idea what you might be referring to." She folded her arms. The Dean motioned to three young students sitting alongside the wall. All of them seemed unable to look directly at Alina, and looked a bit sick. "These students have informed me of your recent....experiment." Alina brushed it off casually. "They said they wanted to see some real practical science, so I let them." The Dean sighed and crossed his hands in front of his face. "Alina, I'm told you murdered a pet in front of them." Alina placed her hand on her hip. "That wasn't a pet. It was a test animal I legally purchased from a local vendor. If you'll look at this, everything will be clear." Alina tossed a a manilla folder on the man's desk. The Dean, clearly losing his patience, looked at Alina's confident posture and reluctantly opened the folder. As soon as he did, a puff of smoke exploded out of it directly into the Dean's face. Before he had time to be surprised, his head fell forward onto his desk with a heavy thump. Alina held a gloved finger to her smirking mouth in the universal sign for "quiet" towards the now clearly frightened students and quickly fled the scene.
Moments later Miss Ursler could be seen quickly making her way across campus, weighed down with what equipment and files from her office she could carry. Her left hand dragged a rolling luggage case behind her while her right held a briefcase. Her heavy black jacket was filled with all kinds of knick-knacks, pieces of loose paper, glass containers, and entirely too many writing utensils. Normally this would be something that would attract attention, but when it came to Alina Ursler people expected the strange. She was a bit infamous in the academic community both for being something of a "mad scientist" and for being kind of weird in general. Of course, in reality this "reputation" was completely fabricated. Fabricated quite convincingly, complete with employment records, letters, and all kinds of information on the internet. Humans' perception was so easily influenced. Even this entire incident had been orchestrated by Alina, who in reality was Victoria Steyr adept of paragon and princess of Thrones. There was no such thing as bad publicity after all, she needed to supplement all those forged documents with some personal interaction after all. While most people might not go out of their way to spread a bad reputation, "Alina" wasn't exactly interested in the regular kind of work.
She needed a place to do some research out of sight of her comrades, and it took a lot to escape Chelle's notice. Though her reputation as a mad scientist may be spreading, so too is her reputation as a genius. It was only a matter of time before someone who needed a mad scientist gave her the opportunity she needed, and to someone with an unlimited life span time was no issue.
As Alina made her way to her vehicle she discovered there was another reason she wasn't attracting that many stares: There was someone else attracting them. Just outside the campus boundary, some sort of winged metahuman. "When one opportunity is lost, another is gained perhaps?" She walked up behind the odd woman, heralded by the sounds of her luggage and glass clinking together. A feminine voice with a heavy German accent addressed the girl. "You know miss, non students aren't allowed to loiter on campus. And I'm guessing the police will probably be here soon. That Jeffrey is a squealer if I ever met one. Extraordinary individuals such as yourself are sort of an interest of mine though...if you'd be willing to answer a few questions, I'd be happy to give you a ride to wherever you'd like." She said with a smile that seemed more arrogant than friendly, and perhaps a bit unsettling given the fact she was propositioning a young stranger to get in her vehicle.

Re: The Pursuit For Knowledge [Closed to Sim/Victoria]
Security was the least of her worries, they were just going to end up with their heads chopped off if they tried to reason with her. Depending on her mood, was she a villain? Not in the very least, but she was very agreeable that the government shouldn't fuck with her freedom nor in the least assert that she couldn't loiter on the property when she wasn't chopping heads off. The students were paying attention to her odd visage considering she looked straight out of a fucking sci-fi movie. The woman had a gauntlet on her arm, shoulder and elbow spike, with four inch long talons. It glowed an eerie red, there was a odd breathing that came from it, parts of the metal in the gauntlet even twitched.
Clad in black, the spider silk graphene hugged every curve of her bod, giving her a mix of the terminator meets a cat-suit look. Boots of carbon, they were black, a mix of a futuristic batman combat boot meeting x-clips up to her knee. They were two inches in height, they greeted her knee where the black slightly shiny leathery looking pant met a utility belt. Well, it was studded, two of them wrapped around her slender waist in an x-fashion. A jacket was wrapped around her waist, exposing a tank top, it was V-neck, crafted from trinium. A futuristic alloy that was yet discovered n their time, it looked light gray under armor, her wings had been out. They were a bright white, the tips were red, glittering with a phoenix fire. Not that they harmed anyone, but her back was killing her from them being inside the folds of her muscles for weeks..
Sitting at a bench, her legs crossed over one another as her fingers ran through her matted hair. Bruises lined her arms, they seemed to have been a few days old at this point. From New York, it would be a while, but she was not used to healing so slowly..it was odd. It would have been gone in seconds in her time, her perception of pain was still the same, sickeningly sweet. It sent tingles up her spine giving her an urge to fight more to get the sensation of nothing but that sickening excitement from adrenaline. Sai's programming was speaking, that form one mindset set inside deep within over top the rational broken part. When XETA are born they are given super programming, when they nearly die, it breaks the programming and they realize their true emotions. Albeit, it is only broken and could forever remain, her powers in her world fueled by her emotions. In this place, she was relying on learning to distinguish how she was feeling and then learning to comprehend her programming all over.
Heavily armed, she stood, the wings twitching their existence useless in this world. Their advanced state wisped with ectoplasm, phoenix fires riled about them. Yet it was only a mirage of their potential, it was just a paradoxes part of herself that remained. A decoration, it made her look ever so the more foreign, for her magenta eyes borne into the women coldly. Stared at her with a no sense of regard for her own safety, the stare of a soldier, yet her skin seemed to glow as an angels would in the bronze color it was. The rings of her eyes have a celestial silver. The way she spoke, was German, interesting enough Sai had tilted her head listening. "Well, It is what it is isn't it?" She said with a deadly grin on her face, "Let's hope the police know who they are dealing with.." She said flatly, her hand coming to rest on a deadly gun-blade. It's hilt having a six winged phoenix seal the long sheathe about four feet long. "I'm more than happy to answer questions." She said, her voice simple, straight to the point, "As long as I can ask some in exchange." She said, her lips curling into a smirk. Sai's voice a feminine chime, like a bell almost, but having a sense of wisdom, age: Apparently she wasn't as young as she looked.
The eerie amount of bruises on her arms slowly fading, her fingers having cuts that only seemed to slowly heal. It was the amount of time that it took was just..amazing..four days and on going. The bruising went from an eerie black to blue in those moments they spoke. Her magenta eyes having an eerie sense of cold no sense of emotion, "A ride? That won't be necessary. I enjoy travelling by foot." She said, her voice simple to the point.

Re: The Pursuit For Knowledge [Closed to Sim/Victoria]
Alina was finding the odd metahuman a tad...prickly.
"Ahaha, well..." Alina laughed nervously. It seemed this one was the violent sort, the last thing Alina needed was a bunch of law enforcement officers getting killed on the lawn of the university she had just "quit" by some metahuman in a J-rock outfit. The outfit was part of the reason Alina was interested in this particular meta though. There were parts of it Alina couldn't quite identify, and Alina was generally used to being able to identify anything. "I can assure you there's no need for violence. Unlike yourself I just have a fragile little human body." Alina cracked a wicked smile "of course, I may have the most brilliant mind of any regular human or even metahuman alive! So I'm sure I can answer any questions you might have." She said in a tone that was both polite and yet somehow seemed slightly condescending.
She wasn't willing to get in Alina's vehicle, so it seems dissection was straight out for the time being. "Well since you enjoy walking so much" She said, pronouncing walking with a "v" sound "perhaps you can accompany me as I walk to my car. I'd like to relieve myself of some weight." She motioned with her right hand, drawing attention to the suitcase being carried by it. "and perhaps we can exchange some questions along the way. Introductions might be a good start. I am Alina Ursler, the greatest scientific mind in the world! Even if not everyone can appreciate my genius..." She grumbled the last bit to herself somewhat quietly, though not quietly enough to hide it from anyone standing nearby. "Who might you be?"

Re: The Pursuit For Knowledge [Closed to Sim/Victoria]
[OOC: Jesus I was going through fucking old threads and I just noticed this was replied to! I am sorry for being late. -.-;; ]
Saileyra noticed ALina laughing nervously, her eyes scanned the other women as she obviously had taken a hefty scan of her the woman had assured her there was no need for violence. Her instincts were just a treble and something that didn't skip a beat. Licking her lips, those amber eyes stared at her like a predator really scanning into her making sure she got in every feature of her face. Alina, the woman in front of her seemed to be a scholar judging by the suit case in her hand she definitely was part of the institute, working here. With the dissection of her accent, she mused in the ancient languages of this world. "That is fine. I don't intend to hurt you." She said, her voice flat, monotone her eyes a fiery magenta staring. "Hm, brilliant mind huh?" She said her lips curling ing to a smirk as her interest rose.
Following next to Alina now, the armored woman would cut out, it would be best to not attract the fuckers on campus anyway. Her fingers moving to the pockets her eyes glanced over to her, "I do." She said emphasizing the 'd' her spunky sense of humor drawing her in on a more social level. Magenta hue orbs staring at the other woman, "Alina Ursler? I am Saileyra." She said, her form turning as she extended a hand. "Nice to meet you." She said with a smirk on her face sure this other woman wasn't going to bail on her..not this easy. She could certainly use her mind...
