Oh dear... one does not simply go shopping with Salone (Michael)

Artemis looked up from her snack. The majority of the table was a mess. Food and wrappers everywhere. But that's not why she looked up. She looked up because about 5 men with gun looking things ran up and started to get people out of the way. Artemis noticed Salone look at her for a moment then walk away like she didn't know her. It kinda hurt, Salone was her best friend... well best human friend at least. And even though Artemis was sure she was stronger then Salone, she had never met another shapeshifter until she ran into Salone. And Artemis also felt the strange need to protect her and now Hanna, even though Salone had pretty much successfully started her own pack.

But anyway, Artemis turned her attention back to the men, who in the time she had gotten lost in though and set up a formation. One in the front, two behind the first and the remaining two slowly moved to the side. Artemis jumped off the table and sat down into front of it. She tilted her to the side. The man in front held out some sort of stick out. It looked like it was for catching animals. The man slowly tried to get the hoop on the end of the stick around her neck. Artemis moved quickly.

Right when the man would of though he had gotten her Artemis bit down of the sit and swung it. Sending the man flying into one of the people behind him. They crashed together and it honestly looked like it hurt. But at this point the men where not longer play around as the remain 3 lifted up there dart guns. Artemis darted under the table of food. She knocked it towards the man of her left. The table landed on top of him and Artemis heard him groan from under it. Two left. Artemis darted towards the man of her right. Just barely moving fast enough to get to the man right before he shot his dart gun off. Artemis bit down on his arm and tugged on him, pulling him down. The other remaining Animal catcher had shot his dart but it ended up hitting the Animal catcher she pulled down and used as a shield. She was able to take the last man down before he could reloaded his dart gun. Artemis picked up the empty dart gun in her mouth and walked up to Salone. Sitting in front of her and wagging her tail. The dart gun was for Hanna but she would give it to Salone for now.

Michael weakly waved back at Hanna, while she continued to do whatever it was that mischievous little dragons did. All he knew at this point was that nothing was going to go right, especially with the fact that humans did not take well to dragons crawling about their grocery stores. Well, they did not take well to any kind of metahuman activity within their lives, so this would only be worst than usual. Looking to Salone who had questioned him about where Hanna was, all he could do is point where the draconic female had crawled away. ”I think she went that way.” He noted simply pointing in the direction that the female had skittered off to, claws marks obvious in where she had crawled. It was then that he heard the sound of a loud scuffle, probably Artemis causing more chaos. Artemis walked up to them, holding some kind of gun within her mouth, Michael slapping the palm of his hand against his face.

Salone sighed, sounding faintly aggravated. But her eyes found the claw marks… that was new.

“What happened to Hanna?” Salone repeated again, fixing Michael with her eyes. That’s when Artemis came up holding the tranq gun. Anger flashed in Salone’s eyes, pure anger. Sure Artemis didn’t know any better but this wasn’t the first time she had been to a store. If she would control her primal urges for once. So Salone growled at her and grabbed Michael before turning away to go find Hanna.

Hanna the dragon was scrabbling in an attempt to get at the ice cream. Salone scooped her up and hid her in her purse. Hanna’s silver blue head poked out and she grinned as Salone quickly made her way out of the store. Salone was furious, to the point where her eyes where glowing amber in the car on the way home. She knew Artemis would have to show up at some point and she prayed it would be after she cooled down.

Artemis' ear flattened once she say the look on Salone face. Was this thing not a good gift? Artemis placed the gun on the ground and watch Salone grab Micheal and walk off to grab Hanna. Salone then headed outside of the store with out her. People were staring, mainly following where the wolf was going. She walked out of the store just in time to see Salone drive out of the parking lot. They left her here? Yeah she was capable of going home herself and she honestly hated the car but it still hurt. Maybe they just forgot and Salone would come back? Yeah that's probably it, until then She would just wait in front of the store.

Artemis had been waiting for at least 3 hours at this point. She laid in front of the store for all that time. Heck even the animal catchers had gotten up and left, making sure to avoid her. Artemis stood up and stretched. Was Salone not coming back for her? Artemis shifted into a hawk and flew away, alarming a few people as she did. On the way home she did catch a few rabbits though. Maybe this would be a better gift.

Usually Artemis would land in the backyard and just walk in but today Artemis landed up front and shifted back into a human. She held the pair of dead rabbits by the ears. Her feet bloody from where she kill then animals with her talons. She rang the door bell and waited for someone to answer the door. Handing the rabbits to the first person who answered/

Salone repeated the question, eyes boring into Michael’s, though all he could do was look back into hers with a sort of deer in the headlight look. Something about the woman when she was angry kind of intimidated the ethereal, not that he would have admitted it, so instead he simply opted to tell her in more detail. Well until of course Artemis trotted up and kind of dropped that gun at her feet, and things just went worst from there. Salone latched onto his arm, dragging him along to find Hanna, though her grip was rather…tight. ”Ow ow ow, hey take it easy.” Michael grumbled, the pain in his arm growing rather…annoying. She was stronger than he had thought and that would not bode well if she put all of her strength within the grip, which she luckily did not.

Soon enough they would find the young dragon, attempting to acquire herself some ice cream, though she was swiftly stuffed into Salone’s purse and then they were done. The female was furious, so Michael kind of sat quietly in the backseat, arms crossed over his chest as he stared blankly out of the window, trying not to make any sort of socialization that would draw the ire of the woman. Soon enough they ended up at the home once again, Michael choosing to stick around the kitchen, occasionally just mindlessly wondering around. Soon enough a ring came at the door. ”I got it.” Michael called out approaching the front door and opening it to be met with…a dead rabbit.

”Oh…you shouldn’t have…no I mean you really shouldn’t have.” Michael muttered looking down at the blood rabbit now within his hand, partly disgusted and partly…well he was all disgusted. Walking back inside, he looked around for Salone. ”Hey…um Salone, what do I do with the dead rabbits?”

Salone was so mad that the drive home was kind of a blur. No music, no noise from the two, no nothing. Even Salone’s phone dare not go off. Hanna just kind of shifted around and when she felt too anxious she would pat Michael’s hand.

When she got home she sat on the couch with her head in her hands. Hanna patted Salone on the head a few times before Salone grabbed her and pulled the child to her. Hanna squirmed but eventually settled into the curve of Salone. The Time collector often felt she was fighting a one man versus an army (Artemis, Hanna, and the dogs). There were only so many of her that could battle the raging mess she had found herself in constantly.

A few hours later after Salone had fallen asleep, the door bell rang. Stirring Salone pushed herself up and saw Michael with a dead rabbit.

“Trash,” She yawned, before covering her mouth. Her amber gaze lighting on Artemis with a new flash of anger. Salone crossed her arms.

Artemis felt hurt. She spent like a whole 5 minutes on catching those rabbits. Yeah it wasn't a lot of time but it was to make up for whatever she apparently did wrong. And now they where in the trash. She walked back into the house, now broken hearted. She tracked blood into the house, although it was to be expected since she was carrying dead rabbits with her talons not to long ago. She shuffled into the kitchen and turned the sink on. She shifted into a cat and jumped on the counter. She was her paws off, knowing that Salone would hate the fact she just track in blood through the carpet. After she was done she jumped off the counter and shifted into a human, making sure to turn the water off. Salone was pissed off as it was and she didn't want to be yelled at more then usual. Although that glare of hers wasn't giving Artemis much hope.

Michael cocked a brow for a moment, then looking down to the rabbit that was clutched within his hand, considering it for a moment before tossing the corpse into the trash. ”Sorry little guy.” Michael muttered with a good natured smirk, looking to the bloody rabbit that had been trashed. Artemis trudged off seemingly hurt by however it was that Salone was acting towards her. It might have been how she kind of tore through the store, wrecking everything in sight; which he could understand. ”I would step carefully if I were you Artemis, she seems kinda mad.” Michael noted lowly, crossing arms over his chest as he simply leaned against a table.

Salone stood and ran her fingers through her hair; she was still pretty mad at Artemis but not furious as she had been. However, it was the scary quiet anger.

“You know why I am mad right?” Salone stated, making an effort not to cross her arms. “You don’t just shape shift in the center of a store. When you’re with humans you act human! Your actions put my family at risk! You do it again and you’re no longer allowed to stay here.”

With that she left Artemis alone to wash the blood off. Hanna was peering over the couch at Artemis. Then her blue eyes flicked to Michael, they where round and her tiny voice could be heard.
“Uh- oh.”

Artemis stayed silent through out Salone's short and quick rant. She wanted to ssy something but she was smart enough to know that now wasn't the time. When Salone walked away Artemis moved back into the kitchen and raided a cupcake out of the cupboard, chewing on it annoyed. The small amount of blood that was on the floor remained there, yeah she knew that she tracked it in but she felt sick whenever Salone brought out those so called 'cleaning supplies' so she guessed that blood would just stay there.

She was a spirit of the wild, how could Salone keep talking to her like this when she knew that Artemis had been getting more and more restless. Heck just from her hunting they probably had enough food to last for a long time.

Michel was finding everything that was happening amusing for the most part, though he honestly had other things to do. Well, he always had things to do, and staying around here was not something that he really planned. ”Well everyone, I have places to be, things to do and whatnot. So…yeah.” Michael noted crossing arms over his chest and then looking to Artemis, before nodding to Hanna and Salone. ’I’ll probably see all of you later.” With that he walked through the front door and as soon as he did, Michael was gone.
