Oh dear... one does not simply go shopping with Salone (Michael)

Artemis rolled her eyes. "Well why did you say you had something you wanted to talk about." said Artemis. Great, just great. First her hunt had gone horribly wrong and now Michael was here making her day even worse. It was like his job or something. "You took a shower? I would bet my tail you didn't, you reek." said Artemis. Artemis was in a bad enough mood as it was, maybe she just tear out this boy's throat and call it a day.

Michael grumbled lightly, looking to Salone with a slightly incredulous expression before turning back to the feral woman. Of course she would not see it, the danger that this woman of all people would pose to his child…or children, she was a threat that he would not allow. ”Well good thing you don’t already have a tail.” Michael noted tersely taking a bite from the cupcake dropped into his hand, chewing on it sourly while glaring at Artemis, then proceeding to smell himself. Nope there seemed to be no problem with how his body smelt, unless she was smelling something else entirely.

“Enough,” Salone finally said, massaging her forehead. A low dragon growl rumbled from her chest showed she meant business and she looked pointedly at the two. Michael did indeed smell… interesting… as Salone would lightly put it. Her dragon side was picking up some interesting smells.

“What do you mean by ‘smells funny,’ Artemis?” Salone settled into her chair before shooting Michael a look that clearly said he better hold his tongue or she would remove it with a paring knife. Playing mediator with a pregnant ethereal and an Artemis was not easy.

Artemis grumbled and sat on a stool in the kitchen, grabbing a cupcake and taking a bite. "You mean you can't smell it Salone?" questioned Artemis, general annoyance in her voice. "He smells like you did when you were inflated with Hana. Although he is a male so that's not exactly possible." Artemis bit down on the cupcake again. "Not exactly a pleasant smell either. I'm surprised you don't recon guise it. You are a shapeshifter like me, you should be able to pick up on smells like this."

”I do?” Michael asked simply raising a brow looking to the feral woman and then to Salone curiously. ”You’re talking under the assumption I’m a human, or normal in any respect of the word.” Michael noted simply taking another large bite of the cupcake and swallowing it loudly. ’But to use a phrase used so often, I think you…..erm knocked me up was it? Kind of like how my dad had Jordan, except there was less punching….more kissing.” He absently noted finishing off the cupcake and wiping away a small bit of frosting from his lips.

“Must be the pregnancy hormones, I did notice you smelled a little strange when you walked in.” Salone admitted. “But I didn’t connect the dots.”

She listened to Michael explain things to Artemis and then screwed up her face. She did not need the image of Ourobus kissing anyone in her head. She didn’t particularly like the guy after he had torn up the kitchen… and the front room. Salone sighed and stood, she needed to get some stuff done. Like running to the store to get Hanna some more snacks and go shopping in general.

Artemis raised an eye brow. "I got you pregnant?" said Artemis, obvious doubt in her voice. It wasn't long before she burst out laughing. "You have to be kidding. I haven't even mated with you at all. And why would I? Besides you lack the parts" Artemis placed her hand on the counter, holding herself up. She honestly had no idea why she found what Michael said so funny. But either way her face was bright red from laughing so much and she was having trouble breathing. After a few minutes she calmed down enough to catch her breath. She slid off the stool she was sitting on and streched. "Well thanks for cheering me up from that bad hunt. Anyway I'm going to take a shower and then take nap." said Artemis walking away, giggling to herself.

Okay, so the woman just laughed off what he said as some great joke, which made Michael fume internally but not enough that it would show. If the woman would not believe him, that was her problem and he would not pursue it further. One could say Michael was not in the mood, and only be within the general radius of the ball park. ”Okay, you have fun with that.” Michael said with a wave of the hand, eyes following the female for a moment before turning back upon Salone. However there was the whole bit about her speaking as if she would not want to….mate with him the first place, which caused a personal reevaluation, Michael looking over himself as if unsure why not. Granted he had no interest in the woman in the first place but vanity did hold its place. ”Well that went well.” he muttered with a roll of his eyes.

Sighing, Salone sat back on the couch and offered Michael a weak smile.
“At least she didn’t explode,” She stated, trying to be optimistic. “Ah well, at least she won’t be totally surprised right?” Salone tucked her hair behind her ear and then stood. She wasn’t surprised about Artemis’ response to this entire situation. Hopefully she’d come to accept it.
“You wanna come with me to go get some things before we move? It’s hard to believe we are going to leave this house in a few weeks.”

Artemis wasn't to happy. Apparently when she said she was going to take a nap, Salone thought she meant a 10 minute nap. Almost right after she got out of the shower and got dragged along with Hanna and Michael. And now she was in one of those evil metal beetles which Salone called a car. She hated this thing. It made her heart pound and she wanted to escape it. Artemis shifted uncomfortable in the back seat. She tugged at the seat belt. She didn't get why she had to wear it but Salone yelled at her every time she didn't. It felt tight over her chest, kinda like a mini version of those strange clothes that Salone makes her wear when they go out. "Can I get out yet." said Artemis kind grumpily. Hanna sat next to her in the back seat, occupied with something else. What Artemis didn't know. And right not all she cared about was getting out of this car. Artemis tugged at her underwear from under the clothes she was borrowing from Salone. All of it was just uncomfortable and she didn't like it. "I still don't get why I have to wear this crap."

”I suppose.” Michael noted running fingers through his hair, yawning perhaps out of habit to himself. ”I guess I could come along with you.” Not like he had anything better to do, and a little time out sounded like it would be absolutely fun…kind of. Michael pressed the palm of his hand to his chest for a moment, before sighing deeply, thinking over a few things before letting them fall to the back of his mind. However Michael was not going to be too pleased, when all of them piled into the vehicle he took notice of Artemis joining them. While he could have rationalized that she knew nothing of ethereal physiology, and just was being ignorant, something about that annoyed Michael more than anything. The dark haired male would lean back within his seat, looking out the window and over all just drifting into his own thoughts, Hanna occasionally bugging him.

Hanna pestered Michael the first five minutes in the car while Artemis pouted in her seat. The drive was only about fifteen minutes to Costco. Looking in the rearview mirror, Salone discovered Hanna had pulled out her coloring book and crayons and was trying to get Michael to color with her. This caused Salone to smile slightly.
Costco itself was another story, Salone stuck Michael in charge of Hanna because she was sure he could manage her. Then Artemis darted off, She assumed it was because of the free samples and she left Hanna with Michael.

“Artemis! Come back please! Store running off is very bad.”

Hanna was sitting in the cart and she blinked her blue eyes at Michael. Apparently she had the same idea as Artemis because she bounded out of the cart and ran streaking down the aisle. As soon as she had escaped Michael, Hanna hid. Her body taking the form of a small, silvery blue dragon, she was sitting on one of the selves looking rather pleased with herself with her pink tongue hanging between her dagger like teeth.

Artemis nearly jumped out of that cursed car. She followed Salone, Micheal and Hanna into the store. Although once they entered a bunch of sweet smells crossed her nose and she began to drool slightly. Artemis licked her lips and took off, shifting into a wolf as she ran. She knocked over stands as she ran and people screamed at the wolf running through the store. She got to the first sample booth and jumped up on it, knocking all the non-food contents on the floor, digging into the free samples. She did this with almost every single snack booth, ravaging them till they where empty. Although in the end she returned back to the bakery section. She jumped onto the table where the snacks where and began to tear into the actual packages. Even though Artemis' tail was wagging she was kinda bored. There was no fun in no hunt though. Also no one tried to challenge her, they just kept their distance or held back small pups from going to see the puppy.

Michael was the last one to step from the vehicle, running fingers through his slightly messy hair as he followed after the others. He would be pressing the cart containing Hanna onwards, until the little female decided that she would follow the lead of the shapeshifter Artemis. ”….why am I not surprised by this.” He muttered rubbing the bridge of his nose and following the blonde female to wherever she was running. Eventually he would come upon what looked like chaos, both females having taken animalistic forms. ”Oh…and this had to happen.” This day was getting worst by the minute.

Hanna the baby dragon, smiled slightly, showing teeth. Waved a clawed hand at Michael and then climbed further up the shelf. She was not going to play nice. Hanna had clearly been hanging out with Artemis to much. The little hatchling was quite cute, with silvery blue scales and dark blue eyes. Thin ivory claws sunk deep into the metal of the shelves. With that she scurried down to the frozen goods section of the store.

Salone froze, seeing Artemis tear into the food. It would be safer to let her get caught by the animal police. As if summoned by her thoughts she saw them march in, carrying dart guns and the like. Turning away Salone went to go find Hanna and Michael... who where not at the cart. Grabbing the cart, Salone started looking for the two.
Spotting Michael she hurried towards him, "Where is Hanna?"

Artemis looked up from her snack. The majority of the table was a mess. Food and wrappers everywhere. But that's not why she looked up. She looked up because about 5 men with gun looking things ran up and started to get people out of the way. Artemis noticed Salone look at her for a moment then walk away like she didn't know her. It kinda hurt, Salone was her best friend... well best human friend at least. And even though Artemis was sure she was stronger then Salone, she had never met another shapeshifter until she ran into Salone. And Artemis also felt the strange need to protect her and now Hanna, even though Salone had pretty much successfully started her own pack.

But anyway, Artemis turned her attention back to the men, who in the time she had gotten lost in though and set up a formation. One in the front, two behind the first and the remaining two slowly moved to the side. Artemis jumped off the table and sat down into front of it. She tilted her to the side. The man in front held out some sort of stick out. It looked like it was for catching animals. The man slowly tried to get the hoop on the end of the stick around her neck. Artemis moved quickly.

Right when the man would of though he had gotten her Artemis bit down of the sit and swung it. Sending the man flying into one of the people behind him. They crashed together and it honestly looked like it hurt. But at this point the men where not longer play around as the remain 3 lifted up there dart guns. Artemis darted under the table of food. She knocked it towards the man of her left. The table landed on top of him and Artemis heard him groan from under it. Two left. Artemis darted towards the man of her right. Just barely moving fast enough to get to the man right before he shot his dart gun off. Artemis bit down on his arm and tugged on him, pulling him down. The other remaining Animal catcher had shot his dart but it ended up hitting the Animal catcher she pulled down and used as a shield. She was able to take the last man down before he could reloaded his dart gun. Artemis picked up the empty dart gun in her mouth and walked up to Salone. Sitting in front of her and wagging her tail. The dart gun was for Hanna but she would give it to Salone for now.
