Q: Um... What is this?
A: Sworn to kick ass and save the world, the Awesome Squad is an "elite" team of superheroes brought together by the visionary Angel.

Q: Oh great, another superhero team. What makes this one so special?
A: Awesome Squad is the premier crime fighting team for heroes age 10 to 20. The young ages of it's members preserves the innocence of spirit required to fight evil at such an advanced level.

Q: If this team is so great, why haven't I heard of you?
A: Awesome Squad is still early in the development phase, but interested applicants need only contact Angel via text message or voice mail at [number withheld].

Q: What exactly are you looking for in an applicant?
A: Just give your superhero name, age, and powers. Also, a quick description of why you want to join the Awesome Squad would be appreciated.

Q: Well, that sounds pretty interesting. Is there anything an applicant should expect should they choose to join?
A: Awesome Squad will accept only the most awesome of members. Those with no sense of theatricality or justice need not apply. But you should probably apply anyways because we really need the members...


Base of Operations: AWESOME HQ

Due too... budget constraints... Awesome Squad currently holds its meetings in a coffee shop a few doors down from a Starbucks in LA. The shop is usually empty, since most people would rather just go to the Starbucks. Because of this the owner, a kindly old woman by the name of Mrs. Penny, allows Angel to hold her meetings so long as she brings in some customers. This coffee shop, called "Java Heaven," happens to be Angel's part-time place of work. Awesome HQ is a single floor building with a warm, relaxing atmosphere and a pleasant aroma. The building has a large mission planning area housing tables and booths, allowing team members to sit and discuss important matters over a delicious, grade-A coffee beverage of choice. The building is technologically advanced, with 2 televisions (one playing sports and the other news), a jukebox, a bookshelf with a multitude of light novels, a hat and coat rack, and free wi-fi from the nearby Starbucks.

Equipment

The Awesome-Mobile: Mrs. Penny, the gem that she is, allows Angel to borrow her 7-year-old 2013 Honda CR-V for local missions. The car is reliable and seats 5, more if you really scrunch up in the back. It has quite a few miles, but Mrs. Penny is ok with the Awesome Squad using it so long as they bring it back with a full tank of gas.

Communicators: Angel has bought a case of classic beepers, each emblazoned with a faux-chrome "AS." Each new team member receives a beeper, and they can be used in case of emergencies to call unscheduled meetings or request assistance.
