Cause zombies are awesome. (OOC)

Zombies. We all love them. So why not rp about zombies? I have created a thread that takes place in an alternate universe of SHRPG, and not a nice one.

In the year 2026, a zombie virus appeared. The origin is unknown, but fingers point to Northern India, China or Russia. Regardless, in a few months, the virus had spread all across the world, world governments too unprepared to deal with it. In three months, every government in the world collapsed, though some governments in exile had formed. By this point in time, there are around two billion zombies in the world, and one billion humans, so the zombies outnumber humans by 2:1. The humans left are either immune somehow, or they just never got bitten. I'd prefer it to be the latter, but it can be the former if you really want. Keep in mind this doesn't make you invincible.

The zombies will either be Left 4 Dead zombies, or Zombie Survival Guide zombies. This is a basic idea I came up with after watching a Left 4 Dead video and typed this up in around four minutes. Tell me what you think so I can expand on this and make it an OP suitable for basing an rp off of.

What zombies do you suggest? I lean toward L4D.

I enjoy World War Z type zombies, they are pretty cool and are awesome by old school standards. If anyone can join I'd be interested for my character to join.

i would say Left 4 dead. Though how strong would a tank be?

We could go with Marvel Zombies style, that way we could have superpowered zombies and we could have some people already be zombies.

Seems good, but normal people can also be infected.

I've never been too into zombies stories...not that I don't like them, but just never really tried them...but gotta start somewhere, right?

If we are going to have super zombies then we need to establish what happens once you become a zombie because I'd like to RP as one.

Zombies:

Have all the powers they had while living.
They also gain telepathy, but they can communicate only with zombies of their pack.

These zombies, unlike L4D zombies, are fully aware of each other. Zombies generally join a 'pack', which means the 'pack' of the zombie who infected them. They all link up together and become one mind in many separate bodies. The pack will survive as long as this is at least one zombie of the pack alive. This gives the zombies an incredible teamwork capability, but leaves them uncreative since there's only one mind in each body. Have you seen Naruto Pain? Each body of Pain is linked together and is one mind.

This zombie mind is the intelligence level of the most intelligent person in the pack. There is no 'I' for a zombie. There is only 'we'. Zombies can eat animal flesh, but prefer human flesh. They also are not good. There is no such thing as a good zombie. They're all bloodthirsty monsters.

Or I'm making it too complicated, and they can just be Common Infected.
