A new world (Open)

Roseria looked around the room as she was lead to another. the floor seemed to be able to hold araxsis' weight which was a food thing but it was starting to get to her the way he was always weaning people about his unknown amount of strength but she decided it would be better to leave it alone. Instead she went over to brandon and asked the one question that she was trying to achieve an answer for a while ago.

"Hey brandon...if he doesn't know how to walk outside...then how is he going to fight, that's what i was trying to get at earlier when we first met." she looked at the amazed alien that was unknowingly putting an enormous amount of pressure on the spots under him. Roseria wanted the answer to this question very badly. "I mean think nine times out of ten there are more people like him somewhere and there's a good chance that unlike him they know how to step on this ground here." She then turned her attention to brandon fully. " And then there is also the fact that he can't be perceived as a hero if he can't stop himself from breaking everything within arms reach." She crossed her arms just under her chest and waited for a response which she was sure to come quickly.

Upon hearing both Brandon and Arianna say that he shouldn't judge the people too harshly for acting in such a way he knew he should listen to them, after all if someone looking like him suddenly showed up and almost killed someone he probably would have run from them as well though he still didn't think he would have called them a monster. Now they came to a gymnasium and Alexio couldn't help but stare at the place wondering once again exactly how rich these damn people were to have an entire gymnasium in their home, if he had even half their money he probably would have been set for a lifetime. He listened to Roseria questioning them on how he was suppose to fight when he couldn't even control his own strength which most people could, rather than focusing on the negative like that Alexio let go of his tail letting it swing lazily behind him once again as he stepped into the gymnasium. He took in a deep breath "show me what we can do Araxsas" he mumbled to himself before cocking back his right hand which was his dominant hand, 'finally something interesting to do.....' Araxsas spoke up finally just before Alexio pierced the air with his fist sending it flying forward at full strength as he had earlier in the alley.

To Alexio it seemed like he was throwing the same old punch that he always had straight forward with the least amount of distance so he could hit the opponent first, yet he could hear the difference as it tore through the air viciously. By the time his fist had completely extended out the force of his punch caused the air to thrust forward violently as if a sudden storm happened, without the threat of killing someone at hand Alexio couldn't help but admit that he felt electrified by having that much power. 'See we strong......... we can defeat anything that challenges us.......... you just have to be willing to fight.....' Araxsas spoke seriously and encouragingly to him. Now he turned back to Arianna "may I really let go in here?" because he was just a bit excited that menacing voice came out a little louder and if the echoing wasn't bad enough it also echoed throughout the gymnasium making it seem like he was asking the same question ten times in a row. Now as to what Alexio had planned for this power he had no idea, there were so many things he could do with something like this, he could help others, he could take what he wanted, perhaps he could be a bodyguard or something like that since he was so strong the possibilities were endless he thought to himself excitedly.

”Well I guess he just needs a little help controlling his strength.” Brandon noted holding his young son closer to him, as they stepped through the door into the large gymnasium, one that had taken a good bit of money to build, but with his need to lift weights constantly, Brandon found it something that was more than needed. ”It took me a while to fully control my strength, but then again when you can crush cars with your bare hands in the span of a day, it takes some getting used to.” If his son had been born within that hectic time in his life, Brandon knew that he would have not been allowed near him. Misha may have been an unbearable bitch that perhaps said too much at the wrong time, but something told him that she still had the best interest of their son at heart. It was perhaps the only reason that he did not fully cut off ties with the crafty little Caster necromancer long ago. Perhaps Brandon was reflecting on his darker days, but then again something about this kids plight spoke to him, something that could not be ignored now. He would help him as best as he could with what he had.

Arianna herself mostly kept her ever watchful eyes upon the tail that was swinging behind the male that was perhaps struck with this unknown alien curse of some kind. One possibility was that he was descended from whatever this thing was, and simply began to show symptoms of the genetic traits now, but that did not really seem as viable. She took note that he mumbled to himself, and wondered if he was talking to himself or if it was something that denoted another personality within him. Something about the possibilities of multiple personalities reminded her of the strange Abyssal dwelling race, but then again only for a second. After that he would lash at out the air with a punch, and create a powerful current of air from the force of the blow alone, which caused her hair to whip slightly along with it. Little Travis stirred slightly, seeming to threaten to wake from his little micro nap before becoming mostly still once again. ”You are more than free to let go in here.” She said with a smile, wondering if the room would hold up to the strength of the being before her.

”If you don’t mind, I was hoping for a more hands on test first.” She quickly pulled the young male within Brandon’s arms away from her, and held him close. ”While I could try to use more overt methods to gauge your strength, it would take much less time for a demonstration. That being said, your demonstration would be to fight my son.” That caused her to get a rather incredulous look from Brandon.

”Not that I meant to doubt your genius or anything, but can’t we do this some other way?”

”Yes, but first I need a firsthand demonstration of all of his capabilities before I can devise ways to have them controlled, and as far as I know, you can take a lot of punishment; so you’ll do fine as a test dummy, and it should be good practice for you too.” She noted motioning for Roseria to step back against the doorway and stand about a foot to the entrances left. With a snap of her fingers what looked like a translucent barrier formed as something shimmered from a bracelet. Brandon sighed and walked to the center of the room, waiting for the alien to stand in front of him.

”Well I guess we should get this over with, so come at me or whatever.” yeah, this was not going how he wanted it to.

Roseria was enjoying her little talk with the brandon but it was cut short when his mom came and told him to fight the alien. Roseria was jealous for a moment as she leaned on the back wall like she was told to by brandon's mother. She she snapped her fingers and then the match began. Brandon made a comment to the alien then he took a fighting stance. Roseria just shrugged and watched as she gathered much needed information on the two as far as fighting and abilities go.

Alexio was all set to really test out what he could do but before he could let Loose Arianna spoke up saying that a more hands on test would help he better gauge his strength, he would have asked what she meant but she suggested that he fight Brandon before he could think to ask what kind of test he would be taking. Usually if things came to violence Alexio would use it if necessary which is why he was hesitant right now because there was no need for violence, couldn't they just have him lift something or run around to see how fast he was he thought to himself before looking to Arianna as if to question her. Before he could question her though it was Brandon that questioned her, it seemed that this was the only way and well he had agreed to the tests, he turned back to Brandon now who seemed to be thinking the same thing as he said that they should just get on with it. He nodded before stepping in front of Brandon now, his large fists coming up in a standard boxing pose with the right hand being the lead hand 'why you using that stance...........?' Araxsas questioned Alexio as he looked through the human's memories of combat, Alexio could only think the answer as Brandon was close enough to hear him even if he mumbled. Alexio stared calmly at Brandon rather than just rushing in, he had no martial art training or real combat training but he had been in enough street fights to know when to size up an opponent, 'just crush him with our strength..........' Araxsas proclaimed confidently.

There was something about Araxsas that Alexio had figured out early on, Araxsas believed that he was invincible or at the very least he believed that he could defeat anyone or anything that came at him with his strength. From the way Araxsas spoke this seemed to be a common thing where he was from perhaps they had no real martial arts perhaps it was just go in and slugfest it until one defeated the other but here on earth being the strongest didn't always matter. Alexio learned early on in his life it doesn't matter how strong you are what matters is surviving the battle, because Alexio had no real martial arts training he just took moves from various martial arts that he had seen before and incorporated them into a wild unpredictable street fighting style. His was a realistic fighting style using a series of simple techniques rather than the flashy ones to do the most amount of damage possible in the shortest amount of time. He could practically feel Araxsas's impatience with him not moving to end the fight right away, instead Alexio began to bounce in place getting his rhythm as he went from a flat foot stance to the balls of his feet ready to move in an instant if needed.

His large form seemed to sway as his tail lashed out behind him lazily before falling into the same rhythm as his body, everything just disappeared from his thought process now which is what always happened. There were no worries about his work, no worries about his problems, no worries about life or the change that had come over him he was literally a blank slate right now, he was completely focused on Brandon in front of him and he decided that it was time to test the waters. His right hand shot forward almost like a jab but rather than keeping his fist close he opened the large palm obscuring Brandon's view as best he could, with his distraction in place Alexio pushed forward bringing his left leg up as high as Brandon's face and struck forward. It was a simple but powerful push kick that was intended to land square with Brandon's face, with moves like this he would have to worry about overextending himself, he had taken in the size difference he had now and the ground wouldn't break under him this time so he just went for it.

Brandon let his gaze fall over the alien being, analyzing any small flaw within his stance and picking out how skilled he was from that alone. Each little mannerism and tick within every movement that his muscles performed, even down to breathing. If there was one thing that Brandon Hale knew, it was the fact that he was a pretty damn good fighter. From what he could glean, the initial stance was some kind of boxer pose, one that would emphasize upon quick jabs to the face, which would be more than enough to cause a good amount of damage. Brandon simply kept himself in a rather lax stance, arms at his side as he waited for something to happen, perhaps a show of the alien beings strength, and to see if it was truly something that he should worry about. Granted that he could take many things without flinching, the male knew almost nothing about what he could do.

The whole thing started off with a simple jab, one that held a rather impressive amount of speed, already close to his face before Brandon could really go into motion, nearly moving out of the way when the real attack came into view. So it seemed that the jab itself was a feign, and one that he did not have much time to really react to, as the kick collided. It hit him square in the jaw with an impressive force, and the blonde found himself rocketing through the air, colliding with the ceiling with a resounding crash before falling back down against the floor. It…didn’t hurt all that much, but then again if it were anyone else, they would have been painted across the floor from the force alone. Brandon pulled himself from the floor, popping his neck before looking at the guy with a rather intrigued expression, rubbing his sore jaw gingerly. ”Ouch.” He said with a wry smirk, popping knuckles individually.

One would have thought that the attack would have done some damage, but then again they did not know the power of the Hale Male, known for his rather durable hide. ’Well I guess that tells us something about your strength, doesn’t it?” The question itself was pointed at his mother, who was watching the small display with a certain interest; though he was sure that she winced when the blow connected.

”yes, I think that would be enough to go on for now, or at least with for part of the test.” She was curious as to the damage that the blow had done, but from how Brandon acted, something told her that not much was the answer.

Roseria looked in intrigue as the fight started and ended at the same time.  The jab was almost unnoticable but Roseria saw it but she wasn't expecting the kick that came after.  And apparently neither did Brandon because he took the hit square on.  He flew into the air and crashed into the ceiling only to come back down and shrug off the kick like it was nothing.  This showed Roseria all too much what these two were capable of.  Roseria took a slight look of laughter as she thought about her earlier outbursts and rude remarks.

"Kind of glad they are so nice and don't go straight for violence."  She murmured to herself.

She didn't say that though because she couldn't take the hit.  She was capable of taking a few of those hits.  Not consecutivly and she would probably need a few seconds to get up after the first hit.  But If therir strength and his endurance was that high then she would have to use all of her strength from the get go to fight them which she didn't like.  She'd much rather gradually get stronger in a very slow and unnoticable way so that when the person finally realized how strong she was she would have already ended the fight, but that wasn't the case with these two.

The test was over because the mother stopped it.  But apparently that was only the first part of a few more to come.  Roseria waited for the next test to begin.  She was very intrigued to see how these tests would play out now.  For later uses if fate should have called for it.

Now Alexio had expected there would be a little back and forth between them at the very least since he could tell that Brandon was at least experienced in a fight simply by his relaxed stance, there was no way someone without experience would be so relaxed in a fight or a spar. Alexio had seen his fair share of fights and been in them, he knew how most people reacted to a real fight swinging wildly in the hopes to finish it quickly, they would clench their fists and bring them up a bit in a half assed stance before throwing haymakers with no hip power in making it weak even to the average person. He expected that his feint turning into a blinding technique would work somewhat but he never actually expected his foot to connect with Brandon's face so easily, when he felt the impact he was preparing another attack already as he would use his forward momentum to drive his elbow into the center of Brandon's chest. But that never came to be as he realized Brandon was no longer in front of him instead he was flying through the air and into the wall, as he watched Brandon pull himself up without much trouble and give him a wry smile Alexio couldn't help but wonder if Brandon had taken that attack on purpose. After seeing his kick do practically nothing to the smaller male he found himself thoroughly impressed with Brandon's durability at the same time, his foot had gone through solid asphalt earlier yet Brandon looked as if nothing had hit him at all.

Guess Araxsas isn't that strong after all Alexio thought to himself before wincing at a sharp noise in his head, it was like listening to the yowl of a large cat and a wolf growling at the same time and it was bouncing around in his head. 'Araxsas is strong, could kill him if given the chance you just don't know how to use our true strength...........' the alien spoke up angrily, Alexio couldn't help but think the alien was more upset at the fact that the attack had done next to nothing to Brandon than he was at being doubted. With that the test of strength seemed to be over at least which was a relief as Alexio hadn't really wanted to spar in the first place, he only fought when he needed to so sparring or fighting was something that made him uncomfortable. 'I tire of this.......' Araxsas growled in Alexio's head 'leave and I will teach you to use our true strength Alexio........' hearing that Alexio couldn't help but think that was a better idea since Araxsas actually knew what he could do unlike these people. Alexio agreed before giving a slight bow to everyone "thank you for your time but something has come up, perhaps we will meet again one day" he said in that menacing tone before taking off at full speed for the entrance, thanks to the protected floor he shot off at in human speeds. As he exited out of the building Araxsas yelled 'JUMP!' in his mind which Alexio did sending him hundreds of feet into the air surprisingly.

What sort of test was his mother thinking of now? Would they have to test the durability of the exoskeleton of the strange looking alien male, or would it be something else entirely. Loudly popping his neck, the blonde prepared for anything else his mother could think up, but in the end the guy…took off? Well, considering that his mother was likely blindly prodding the problem, he could not blame the guy for running off when he did. ”Well then…..that was interesting.” Arianna noted a little confused before shrugging. ”Well I’m in one of those moods Brandon, so expect pie.” With that she walked off, well not before pausing. ”And please escort the ice demon out, I don’t need another incident like with the fire apparitions.” Brandon nodded, looking to Rosario who did not seem pleased within the least, or so he could assume.

”Well…come with me.” He said unsteadily to the blue haired beauty before leading her out of the large mansion, and showing her the door as courteous as possible, considering that she seemed rather important or something. ”I hope you weren’t too inconvenienced by this…well bye.” With a friendly grin he closed the door before sighing heavily, and plopping down on the couch in the living room and relaxing for a little.

She didn't even have a chance to tell her that she did have a good time. The door closed and she was alone in the woods. She rolled her eyes and began a walk into the moonlit woods. A light snow began to rain around her but it quickly melted and left water dripping off the shinning plants. She took in a deep freezing breathe and smiled. She then began to walk again to the city and swung her fan lazily around her. Opening and closing it with a boring ease, that's when she remembered about her mission which she was the reason she was here the whole time.

"Time to go back on the prowl." She said with a smirk on her face.
