Welcome to the city of Niwa: a city comparable to New York, Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and all other metropolises of the world. One aspect which differentiates this city from the rest is its investment in a recent discovery in human genetics--meta-humans. Beings capable of performing feats outside of the natural human realm. Fire breathing school girls, doctors who literally heal with their hands, and many more call this city home. Niwa is the haven for the meta-human, and thus has thrived with this new boom in supernatural beings.

However, just like all the other cities of the world, Niwa carries the plague of crime. With an outrageous boom in economic growth, gangs and organizations flooded the streets of Niwa as much as the meta-humans and migrant workers in search for wealth. Most dominant are the Yakuza, but not far behind is the presence of other gangs. Triads, Russian Mafiya, the Italian Mafia, and other random upstarts all struggle within the city for dominance, with the people being dragged in at every corner. Even the police, whose duty is to protect the populace, is ridden with corruption and the paranoia of never knowing who is a good cop and who is a bad cop.

This is Niwa, the land of opportunity. A city of never-ending struggle, filled with stories of men and women grasping for their future...
