Metahuman Marines, interest?
So I was just sitting around in the Cbox when inspiration struck me for a group of metahuman marines or soldiers, government sanctioned sorts who fall under the guise of the military as an elite black ops group of metahumans. A group separate from Dominus who do whatever the US needs them to do essentially, their second response to the potential metahuman problem
relatively young (between 18-28) and superhuman in some or multiple ways and trained and sometimes experimented on by the govt and dedicated to serving their country as needed with actual sanction to be doing what they do with authority and other shit like that instead of vigilante-ism
Well in my brainstorm I went and came up with canon members of the group (which I'm planning to limit to 11 members btw) and thought people could request the chance to pick them up and try them out and participate in the group.
So the point of this thread is to gauge interest in the group, list the canons I've thought up powers for and get the idea out of my head and hear feedback and suggestions.
For reference, all of the members of the group are Lawful Neutral in alignment since they need to be able to follow orders and what they do could be labeled good or bad. They all believe that society needs order and rules to keep it going and are willing to fight the chaotic system that is running amok on the streets. Ansd because they're americans, they wont know how to keep their noses out of foreign business.
SO the 7 canons without further ado, listed by their handles
Zeus - A potent electrokinetic with mild super human strength and the ability to take to the skies. possibly also has minor technopathic abilities up to player.
Geist - the team stealth specialist Able to perfectly cloak himself and turn invisible across all spectrums for a significant duration (at least 4-5 points spent in invis on the grid please). He is also able to teleport a fair distance at will.
Abram - the platoon's tank. Your typical brick with High strength, Dur and a decent FS for laying things in the dirt when the time comes. He also makes for an excellent bullet shield...
Wrench - The resident gadgeteer amongst the squad, he has a high Int as well as High speed which he uses to assemble and disassemble his creations in rapid order. Usually plays sniper during field missions since he can get to good vantage points rapidly, and becase he's kind of squishy otherwise.
Deacon or Druid, u pick - here's the trickiest guy. This is the team medic, aptly named because he is a little religious (christian, neo pagan, pagan, whatever doesnt matter just add a religious bent to it if you could please). He is described as being Biokinetic meaning he can manipulate living cells. This manifests as the ability to Heal others (abi 6)and the power to transform into any of the planet's creatures (3-4 transformation for the ability to turn into animals). He's a doctor so (INT 3 at minimum) and because of all the time training to fix bodies, he's only so well trained in breaking them (FS 3). the remaining 12 points this should leave once 2 FLight is tossed in so he can be birds and bugs and stuff, is intended to be rather malleable shifting as his body alters to accommodate. (as a human though he should be Str 3, Dur 5, Speed 4 ). In animal form, none of his stats should ever exceed 5 to start out with, obviously u can do what u want with points you earn.
maybe with some tutoring in the occult, the doc could learn to transform into mythical creatures like dragons, unicorns, chimeras and stuff and gain some prodigious superhuman traits?
Hive - And last but certainly not the least, comes this agent. Intended to be arcane answer to magic users out there, she is very well trained and aware of the occult and is able to brew potions and enchant items with mystical properties by probably calling upon spirits or some shit. That aside, Her main mystical talent lies in her ability to summon certain beings and force them to do her bidding (summoning which you probably want at an 8 to start).
And the character I'm thinking about tossing into the bunch is going to be a badass telekinetic i think, in case you were curious. Now some of you will of course say, but Mr. Plural, you said you were limiting it to 11 people and that only adds up to 7 people. And to that I'd tell you, good job with the math. The last 4 spots I want to leave open for people to think up what they will and request a place in the squad which will get formed ICly the as soon as there are at least 5 (preferrably seasoned and skilled) rpers taking up the slots.
until then if you want to make up one of the canons and rp them until everyone's set up to go, living a civilian life or what not, i say go ahead just make sure not to be too big a bastard and don't get in trouble with the law.

I know I could hardly be considered "seasoned" on this site, but I do have experience in Roleplaying. (I'm a mod on another site) and this seems to suit my character perfectly in terms of age background etc. So if you're willing to accept me I'd like to join in on this.

Update, I've decided to alter the character I'm going to play to a geokinetic individual due to the influx of telekinetics.
Additionally my best friend may be willing to take up the mantle of Abram the tank for the squad.
