Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.

Test of knowledge, yeah, sure it is. (Artemis)
This was Chicago, Illinois. If you were here you should know it was. It was kind of a pretty large and well known city after all. If you were then you would know now wouldn't you? That is unless you were really lost. That or kidnap and brought here. Being kidnapped, not something anyone should have to deal with. Especially not having to deal with it multiple times. He had heard of that too. Must be painful for it to happen once. Multiple times? I mean seriously, call a therapist or something. Things have been just terrible for you.
Ailill Hale was in chicago because well, he lived there. The Hale family mansion was located there. That one house that was up for sale that he was considering buying because he did not entirely like living at the mansion was there. It was a nice place in all but it was crowded and every time he left he always had to let somebody know. On the brightside he never had to remember to lock the door or anything. Security was well covered. His chances of nabbing that house were slim due to his late bid and lack of motivation. As well as the time to go all in on his efforts. By not having the time he of course mean't he was too busy doing things he did not need to do, just merely felt like it.
Going to the library was pointless. He had already read through everything in there that was worth his time. He had pretty much cleared straight through every single book that held any interest to him. Oh, what was he to do? His research was on standby because he had been investigating into too many things at once. Plus he had gotten in trouble with some other members of the magical community. For what he was not sure of. Something about recklessly endangering the lives of many through serious misuse of magical properties of relics or something. He found the claims ridiculous. Ailill knew exactly what he had been doing and nobody would have been harmed by any of his work. They were just being paranoid.
So, Ailill was randomly wandering about the city. Whatever he may come across was whatever. Not like anything in this city could surprise him. Ailill had seen beings made out of the elements themselves, leaders of entire races of supernatural beings and thought to be extinct ones that now lived here on earth posing as humans. There was not much anyone could say to make him even interested in listening. Extreme boredom anybody.

Re: Test of knowledge, yeah, sure it is. (Artemis)
Chicago, her new home. She wasn't exactly happy she had to move out of New York but at least her infamy followed her. She still lied, cheated and stole; and there is was notice that could stop her. Or nothing so far. She walked out of high end lounge with a smile on her face. She wore a long flowing fancy looking dress. She had gotten the job as a lounge singer, she wanted to recreate her life here. Every single aspect of it. But two things where missing, a place to stay and the rich to hang out with. Most likely if she found the second she would temporarily find the first, but she needed a permanent place to stay. A place she can run to, a place to keep her artifacts and technology. But she could worry about that later. Currently she was walking the streets of Chicago, familiarizing herself with them. She stayed in the richer parts of the city, the thought of checking out the poorer parts of the city disgusted her, no matter how important it might be.
However Ann noticed someone, someone who looked quite well off. And he seemed to just be wondering around. Ann turned some thoughts over in her mind, trying to decided what to do. What the hell, why not. Ann approached the man. "My my, don't you look quite bored. No parties or events to attend? Either way, care for some company?"
((For what dress she is wearing look at her app))

Re: Test of knowledge, yeah, sure it is. (Artemis)
Bored out of his highly developed mind as he walked down the Chicago street, Ailill Hale was suddenly confronted by a young woman. Now was what up with this? Since when does anyone actually want to talk to him around here? A lot of the locals who knew him tended to avoid him. Perhaps they were afraid of him due to the rumors of the things he may or may not have done. "Company? From you?" Ailill was no longer walking at this point. He was genuinely interested in what this woman wanted. Perhaps she would turn out to be an interesting lass. That, or he could entertain himself at her behalf with her attempts to gain his attention. "Now, why would I want your company? Who are you exactly?" He was being sarcastic sure, but he was hoping her answer would be something good.

Re: Test of knowledge, yeah, sure it is. (Artemis)
"Yes from me." said Ann with a smile. She elegantly held out her hand. "No nonsense I see, very well. I am Ann-Marie Sinclair, friends call me Ann. That is if you are willing to risk being my friend. Maybe you've heard of me, maybe you haven't. Either way you'll know of me soon enough. And as why you want my company, that could be for multiple reasons." Ann smiled and walked around the man, looking him over. "Maybe you are about to go to a party or go gambling and want a pretty face with you. Or maybe your just lonely, although that you'll have to earn. Either way, you have attracted my interest. Anything you want to do I'll be up for. I have nothing better to do." said Ann enticingly. "I know things, things not known to average people and if you get to know me you may learn what I know. However, I would like your name."

Re: Test of knowledge, yeah, sure it is. (Artemis)
This woman really wanted to in her own words 'give him some company'. Why though? Why would she want to be around him? He was not the type of person that others would want to be around. He didn't know why that was though. Ailill honestly did not know why so many people who knew him tended to avoid him like the freaking bubonic plague of the 14th century. If he remembered correctly it was caused by some mage who had used the wrong herbs during a ritual. This still confused him.
He did not know who this Ann-Marie Sinclair was. She made it sound like she was somebody important. Maybe she was to the world in some way. Not like he paid much attention to the affairs of the world. Ailill did not even know who the current leader of this nation was. Not like he cared. Did it really even affect him? Well, maybe it did. He should probably be more invested in things that can actually impact his life. He quickly realized he was taking forever to respond. This Ann-Marie had asked for his name. "Yeah, so. I'm Ailill Hale. Perhaps you have heard of me. Perhaps not." he responded clearly alluding to her own introduction. "Now, to be honest I'm not interested in your company at all. Sorry for the letdown. I just don't feel like keeping company with you. You just don't interest me enough. No offense." he said to her and started to walk again. He wondered how far he could get before she spoke again. He doubted it would be very far.

Re: Test of knowledge, yeah, sure it is. (Artemis)
Ailill Hale! The random person she thought was just well off was more then that. She had hit the jackpot, not only this guy really rich, his family was well known in the magical community. She felt star struck and a bit embarrassed. She had just pitched herself to someone who now probably thought of her as a hooker. "Well Mr. Hale I apologized, if I knew it was you I would of approached you with a bit more respect. I thought you where some passer by. I knew the Hale family lived in this city, but I never expected to run into someone of the family until I became a little bit better known." said Ann. "I should probably introduce myself again since you will know I am not crazy. As mentioned earlier, I am Ann-Marie Sinclair. Collector of magical artifacts and Occult knowledge. I am also very well practiced in technology. My goal is combination of technology and magic in the things I create."

Re: Test of knowledge, yeah, sure it is. (Artemis)
He wasn't walking away really fast for some reason. Then again since Ailill had nowhere in particular to go he therefore possessed just no motivation to actually move fast. Because of this he was hearing every word that woman was speaking to him as he walked away. He wasn't interested in any of it. Being here was pointless. He stopped at one point amused by her admiration. It was just so ridiculously laughable. He shook his head and put his hand against it as he got to walking away. He took only a few steps when he heard something of some actual interest.
A collector of magical artifacts and knowledge. Really? Now, was that even true? Doesn't seem like something somebody would lie about. Most people did not even so much as believe that magic was even real. Even fewer could comprehend the extent of its existence. Now this woman claimed that not only was she aware of such things, but that she collected them, and she combined them with modern technology. Ailill needed to peruse these claims. Just, not here. "You want my company then, you got it. Where would you like to go so we could discuss some things of importance? We may have more in common than I thought possible." he told her.
