LEGION OF WOMB, ASSEMBLE! (closed to Legion members)

"I don't know," Elle shook her head nervously.
"That's all that I heard from dad," She said in a quiet voice.
"He told me and my brother to stay low,"

Womb folded his arms in contemplation, and bean tapping his chin with his finger. "Hm, do not worry child. If it comes to it that we must face them, then it was only a matter of time was it not? I'd rather it happen when it happens than live in fear of the day." Womb had noticed Droplets seemingly nervous disposition through the last few minuets of discourse. "Come Droplet, you have been apprehensive now for a great duration of time. I know my appearance is not normal to you Humans. But surely it does not frighten you so?"

"It is a little intimidating," Elle murmured. She didn't want to offend Womb. She thought that offending him was like having a death wish.
"But it's not just that. Us debuting at such a time won't be safe. I mean, we always won't be, but it will make us extremely vulnerable, with a lot of us being meta-humans," She said carefully, picking the right words to say. Both Womb and Garganoth seemd strong enough to break he in half in a second, and Garganoth seemed to get heated easily. She made mental notes in her brain to speak carefully when she was with them.

"Such is the fate we are choosing child." Sighing heavily, he approached Droplet and crouched down near her seat. "I understand your fear. You are young. But no one in The Legion will allow you to come to harm. If you are taken by this Dominus, or anyone else for that matter! We will hunt them down and vanquish them! When you are a vassal of The Legion, you have entered into a brotherhood. We have vowed our loyalty, and it is what you shall receive. I know these word may be of little comfort to you now, take solace in knowing that they are true." Standing up again Womb addressed the whole room. "I reiterate, if any of you have misgivings about our endeavors do not be afraid to voice them. You will be heard. That is all, nothing more, nothing less. You will not be attacked or shunned for your views, but respected for your bravery."

"Now! Is there anything else at fault with our roles? Does anyone feel their abilities would be better suited to a higher rank? Come do not be afraid to voice your concerns. We are a Legion, not a dictatorship."

Womb's plans sounded good to Cassidy as he heard them. As an infiltrator, Cassidy could easily do. His entire body worked as a powerful machine, with his improved senses and muscle strength. Still, he needed to work harder than he has before. Before, he only learned enough so he could survive but now he needed to better himself to save others' lives.

This is everything I've wanted, and finally it seems to be coming true. Instead of being some freak or a lab experiment, I can use these supposed 'meta-human powers' to help people. I can make my dad proud now, and be a hero. A true hero. I have to get better, because it's not just about surviving anymore but protecting now.

Cassidy stood from his seat, not even trying to hide his excitement. "So what's the first mission then, Womb. Whatever the threat, I'm ready to end it."

Garganoth stood silently. It watched and waited. It could see Cassidy was just like itself, alone and looking for a chance to fulfill their destinies. Droplet was coming around with encouragement. Miracle Boy, though, seemed hesitant. From what it knew about Miracle Boy, this conversation was quite the uncomfortable topic. Garganoth was learning about it's teammates, comrades. These were the soldiers that be along side it through the coming battles.

"I have no complaints. I prefer the thick of battle so I don't have to worry about accidentally harming my fellow soldiers," Garganoth gave it's consent. It was ready to further the cause, "Where is the first hammer blow to be?"

Womb clapped his hands "Tonight young Cassidy, Tonight! The first mission will be executed tonight." Womb left the table and began to scour through some old drawers. "Ah-ha." He strode back to the table and stretched out a map for them to see. "There, in west Los Angeles. The Fox Plaza. This will be our first mission. Our objective is to destroy all main computer systems. Any valuable items there shall be destroyed. Upon leaving we will destroy the inner support beams and destroy the building. Many of the founders or higher ranked officials of this company live there. We will see to it that they do not rebuild such an empire via intimidation possibly force if they do not back down. It is possible that as a high profile building they will be protected by a meta human, if so expect stronger resistance than typical Human guards. Our stratagem will be devised when approaching the building. Though it should be a simple process. As although this building holds a lot of sway in the financial world, it also holds sway in the world of entertainment. And I have learned that it's programs have not taught Humans what it means to truly live. But instead has re-enforced Life's perversions of mans minds. After their News Cooperation building was destroyed in New York, this has become their main headquarters for operations. So it is here we must strike first.

"I hope it doesn't conclude too late.........Our family has a curfew. And I haven't broken it even once, and i want to keep it straight. Let's do it in a jiffy," Elle said carefully.
"Meta humans shouldn't be too much of a problem though..........We've got a lot of them as well," She added with a mischievous smile and a playful glint in her eyes. She whipped out her mask and inspected it carefully.

It had been a few days since Mako was in Los Angeles. He was supposedly meeting a group, which was hiring him for his expertise, called the Legion of Womb. He hadn't heard much about them as he tried to limit his movements. He only came out during the day to buy groceries and other house necessities in his motel room while he was here, but this day in particular, he was going to stay out for a while. He was often disguising himself as a civilian to avoid clash with authorities due to his "talents", and since he surfaced from Atlantis, things had been going in his favor. He had first met the leader of this Legion, who ironically was called The Womb. The guy needed a extra hand in some sort of attack; although Mako had other plans for this plan fabricated by the Legion. He was given coordinates by this Womb figure, to meet at a local shack with the official Legion to discuss plans.

He had entered the shack in his blind man disguise, as he began to approach the group of accomplishes he would be working with for this plan. "Meta humans shouldn't be too much of a problem though..........We've got a lot of them as well," He heard a particular girl among the few say as he greeted them "Good evening gentlemen and lady", as he scrambled to pull up a chair among the few.

"Yeah, that too." He answered before sitting back down when Womb mentioned his healing power. The Womb then explained there roles. He was suppose to survey the entire team? Droplet mentioned that whole meat-a-human thing he had heard before. This Womb seemed to take interest in. Anything seemed better then what they were talking about.

Then Womb got back on the topic of destroying the Fox Plaza. While he had no idea what this building was for but the way he explained not only destroying the computers but collapsing the entire structure to the ground. His mind flashed back to the ruins of New York. His small hand clenched into a fist. Nothing good could come from that kind of destruction.

"No." He said quietly before standing up on his chair again.
"Answering evil with that kind of destruction will only lead to more evil!" He objected loudly. Some new guy came in but that didn't stop him from protesting.

Garganoth nodded, they had a conscience amongst them. That was good it kept the other members in check, made sure no one went too far. Garganoth respected Miracle Boy even more for being able to say no even against everyone else's yes. Garganoth spoke a question, making sure to only put curiosity in it's voice, "What than, Miracle Boy, could we do that would make a difference? You can save an evil being, but it will still wake up evil the next day."

Upon hearing Peter's thoughts, Elleseemed to flinch a little.
“He's right. Garagnoth. Think of the innocent people who may get victimized,”she spoke in a hushed whisper with less confidence. She was a hero. And she had forgotten that. How could she face her family without a pang of guilt?
“I can't do this,” she murmured quietly.

Cassidy sensed the tension in the room growing as the plan was coming together. Miracle Boy seemed worried, and Cassidy didn't blame him as the last thing he wanted to do was to cause harm to innocent people. Still, he didn't understand how destroying a single building could be a bad thing in the long run. Droplet showed doubt, and was backing out of the plan.

"I agree with both Droplet and Miracle Boy, and that innocent people shouldn't get hurt or killed." he said, "However, if destroying this building puts this plan to eliminate all evil into motion then why not? Nobody's lives have to be taken to accomplish this, but if anybody comes against us then we can settle it without death"

As Cassidy spoke, his head began throbbing again. He winced knowing what this meant, that someone was approaching. He shot a look towards the door on impulse, as another figure walked in. Another kid, maybe a few years older than he was, entered wearing regular street clothes and black glasses had entered.

Now who is this? I don't know what it is, but something is off about him. Maybe it's his clothes, they seem weird looking. But then again, I have lived in a wilderness and a laboratory all my life so everything seems strange to me. I've got to get out more.

"Meta humans shouldn't be too much of a problem though..........We've got a lot of them as well," the new guy had said approaching the table, taking a seat. "Good evening gentlemen and lady"

Cassidy looked back at the others, and they seemed to notice the new guy but didn't acknowledge him.

"Not that I want to interrupt this little meeting or anything but," Cassidy began hoping to grab the others' attention, looking at the new guy. "Who are you?"

Mako grinned in satisfaction as he sat back while the group of others were fighting. "Not that I want to interrupt this little meeting or anything but," "Who are you?", asked one of the brethren. "I am Marc. I was called in by a man named 'The Womb', to assist you in your little mission," he answered with some sense of pride. Marc looked around the rest of the group in hopes of picking out who this 'Womb' figure was, since they never met face to face.

Elle managed a small smile. “I guess Womb had a few more heroes to recruit. Womb is that guy,” she gestured towards him with a gloved hand. Who was this guy? And why did Womb decide to let him join?

Womb was surprised to see Marc finally make his entrance into the shack. As always he put trust in people to keep to their word, and luckily it had turned out well for The Womb.

More importantly however was Miracle Boys objection to the plans. Miracle Boy was a key component to the team, Womb was disappointed his comrade felt this way about his plans, but he had known that at least one of these fine heroes would be swayed by their sense of immediate justice. Standing abruptly Womb began to parade about the room, pacing as he spoke.

"Ho Marc! Make yourself at home, we shall introduce you properly in a moment, first I must address a sudden issue that has arisen." Turning his attentions to Miracle Boy The Womb began his retort. "I must make one thing clear to you, and to everyone else here in this room. I do not intend to harm innocents. That is not my wish. My wish is to remove this building in order to prevent further perversion of the Human mind. If you an not see the evil in an industry that thrives off the destruction of Humanity, then I will gladly call you blind. You must understand me Miracle Boy, our objective here is to rid this planet of evil. however in order to do that we must make some extreme choices. In some cases, our actions may even be perceived as evil themselves. However they are necessary for the greater good. There are greater works of evil at hand in this world than a man who simply harms another. there is the evil that has perverted his mind into believing that it is okay for him to hurt another for his gain. Humanity has developed a society of Greed that will destroy them lest we destroy it first. Can you not see it Miracle Boy!? No matter how many children you save from a malicious parent the reason those parents exist will never die! We must strike at the heart of all this in order for it to be fully eradicated. There will be many who will oppose us because they can not envision a world unlike the one they have built. They will fight against us to protect it, possibly with their lives. Heroes and Villains alike, because they too grew here, and they too do not understand the Human phrase "The bigger picture" Yet I do understand this phrase. And I see this bigger picture. It will be a shame if any innocent people are harmed during the span of our crusade, but if it means that Humanity can be saved, I am willing to make the sacrifice. Are you?"
