Rating
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

NPC: Amèlie - A little French thief
Real Name: Unknown; named herself Amèlie
Age: 9
Gender: Female.
Race: Human Girl.
Hair: dark brown hair
Eyes: Green.
Height: 3'7
Weight: 44 lbs
Costume Description/Image:
Amèlie wears a collection of the highest grade stolen clothing that fit her. She does however dress for adventure, leaving behind baggy and loose clothing which will only get in the way if she were climbing trees, walls and/or running away from people. She does however have a very strict aversion to wearing shoes, refusing to wear them regardless of the situation an will always be seen barefoot.
Personality: Amèlie's personality is fitting of a typical 9 year old, she's small, hyperactive, carefree and adventurous and her love for sweet things overrides pretty much everything else. However due to her harsh upbringing as a street child she is considerably more mature in the ways of the world than most children, she is quite capable of sweet talking her way into peoples arms...only to steal their wallets straight after. She is extremely sassy and stubborn, only choosing to speak in French and ignore anyone who does so otherwise. The only person she ever listens to would be Cornelius Caster and even then she often bends his rules to have her way. Fiercely independent the young gypsy disregards most rules and charity laid out for her and often goes out of her way to provide for herself, mainly because she finds the whole aspect of pickpocketing quite fun.
History: Amèlie came from a long line of gypsy travellers, their wily and carefree lifestyle heavily imbedded into the child even though her time with her family was short. Tragic events struck the troupe of Gypies and they were systematically murdered by an unknown organization, later discovered to be the rogue Dominus Theta Squad. This small massacre was kept hushed from the world media, and although the gypsies tried to escape they were eventually brought back to be murdered and/or raped. Amèlie's mother, in a desperate last attempt to save her child fashioned her a necklace said to protect the wearer and surprisingly Amèlie managed to avoid the horrid fate that her family had to. The child, then aged 4, was fortunately smuggled away by a sister clan and was sent with their children to pickpocket tourists in the city of Paris.
Amèlie became accustomed to being a street child and was extremely skilled in thievery and deception. She could toy with foreigners by playing the innocent card all the while quickly and silently steal their possessions. Although such a lifestyle did have it's perks the sassy young theif often found herself running away from the police, or anyone who happened to witness her little crime. Unfortunately for her pursuers she was well learned in the art of escape. However, this uncanny knowledge did not help her with what she initially assumed to be an easy target, Cornelius Caster.
On one of his many trips overseas the elderly man had been shadowed by the young theif for most of his daily strolls. She believed that since he was old he was an easy target and eventually managed to gather a small army of street kids to 'attack' the infamous Gentleman. The younger children would distract him whilst she would edge her way ino his pockets to steal whatever valuable belonging resided in there. Once she had clasped the cold glassy object the children scattered, leaving the elderly man amused at their little play, knowing full well what had occurred behind the scenes. What Amèlie stole was an enchanted flask of vodka, much more potent than the usual variety and the one curious sip she took from it knocked her out cold. Her plan had backfired, all the other children thought he had been poisoned so escaped the area, fearing for their own lives.
Things surprisingly took a more positive turn of events when Cornelius managed to find the unconscious Amèlie, his favourite flask clasped in her little hands. He recognized the steadfast spirit within her, noticing the enchanted necklace and went oh of his way to take her in and keep get safe from harm. Eventually, through much persuasion and show of good intent Cornelius managed to convince the child, in French of course, that her life, although fun, was dangerous and that she was made for a much bigger role in the world than to be a simple thief. The girl, curious of who this dapper man was eventually agreed to tag along on his many adventures, becoming somewhat of an adopted daughter. He spoiled her with candy and wise words and she would often come in handy in the cases that he would need particular magical artefacts.
Powers/abilities
Enchanted Necklace (6 EP item): Whilst Amèlie does not possess any metahuman or magical ability she is in the ownership of an extremely powerful magical item capable of erecting an almost impenetrable forcefield around her. This item heeds to the environment and situations around her and immediately reacts to anything that will cause her possible danger or harm. This forcefield appears as a glowing pink bubble which is capable of defending the girl against physical attacks, energy blasts and heavy gunfire, all of which bounce off like children's toys.
The necklace is the only clue to her heritage, a simple item made by her now deceased gypsy mother. It was rumoured that the gypsy magic within the simply jewelry item would protect Amèlie. Cornelius Caster, with all of his magical knowledge was capable of harnessing this powerful gypsy magic, adding a bit of his own aura to the item to make it that much stronger.
Experienced thief/pickpocketer: As a resut of her training by rogue gypsies, Amèlie has a well tuned eye for vulnerable and/or unprotected items and will sneak her way into the perimeter of the item and take it. Her skill is so impressive that she is capable of stealing from someone whilst engagin in conversation with them, often making her rescue with all of her victims most valuable items. Any chance that she would get caught or attacked for her crime the enchanted necklace would protect her, in effect giving her trouble free escape from would be pursuers.
