Personality: Fun loving, honest, willful, and a powerful sense of right and wrong. Agosto may come off as average at first but in actuality his force of will and sense of justice are what set him apart. He firmly believes that one hero, or even just a regular person, doing the best they can will make a difference in the world. He does everything he can to protect not only his loved ones, but all innocents. He even has a sense of fair play and justice towards the villains and will treat them honorably and with respect in combat (which is not to say he won't have fun when he gets the chance to beat down on them). He also has a keen sense of responsibility, and often when he bites of more than he can chew, he keeps it to himself. For instance, any day he uses the mask, he has nightmares of being devoured by Tecatlipoca or jaguars, but he pays the price of personal comfort for the chance to do some good. He's pretty much a boy scout.

History: The middle child of three in a household of simple means. Agosto's parents are both Mexican, but his fair skinned sandy haired father has more Spanish European dissent than his mother, who has only a little European blood and grew up in a traditional Nahua house hold with the ancient myths and folklore of Mesoamerica. In this loving household (fairly little angst between his older sister and younger brother) Agosto grew up idolizing the Superheroes of the world, idolizing them for their bravery and willingness to stand up for the little guy. When Agosto's maternal great Grandfather-a remarkably long lived shaman- died, Agosto and his family had to fly from the U.S. to Southern Mexico to attend the funeral. It was while sneaking around this unknown relatives house that he found a frightening looking jaguar mask. Putting it on transforms him in to El Jaguar Fiero, the scion of the ancient Aztec god Tezcatlipoca. Well, of course with this new found power he became a Superhero.

Powers: When Agosto puts on the mask, he gains some of the powers imbued with in by the Aztec god of Night Sky, Mysticism, and Jaguars, Tezcatlipoca. Where gods are concerned Tezcatlipoca is evil on bad days, and very, very, chaotic neutral on other days, so the power of the mask is inherently dark in nature. The mask has it's own animistic jaguar spirit which at every turn tries to cause destruction to friend and foe alike, however, Agosto is strong willed and this isn't much of a problem.

Heightened Senses- The mask increases Agosto's senses to where he can see at night, here the slightest snap of a twig in a noisy forest, or scent down an enemy lying in wait. They're generally about as sensitive as a normal jaguar's, but Agosto can also pick up on magical disturbances with his senses. For instance, he can pick up on if a person or object is magically inclined. Being the god of Night, all of Agosto's powers are a little weaker during the day, and are strongest on a moonless night.

Mirror Walking- By touching a reflective surface and focusing on a location, Agosto can turn that surface into a visual portal, as long as there is another reflective surface for him to see through, or travel through it as long as both ends are large enough for him to fit through.
