The knife formed into a shield as the spike clashed against it and made a ringing sound. Though the spike was nowhere powerful enough to penetrate the ice. John smirked unimpressed by the attack as he let the shield fade away into a fine crystalline dust. He took a stance as his eyes caught what seemed like the beginning of morning. Seems like the vampire wanted to end this as soon as possible to slink back to his dark den and rest. Though John wasn’t gonna let this guy get away that easily. He still had to kick his ass for killing him. Next came the whips at his sides, though he easily dodged them by flipping backwards. He barely had time to react to the kick aimed at his face as a shell of ice formed over the area that was intended to be hit. Cushioning most of the blow, though he still felt it. Stumbling as he fell on his ass. Before he could counter attack he felt a hand on his shoulder.”That’s enough, time to go.” Before he could argue, he was pulled through the shadows,appearing three blocks away. Looks like he would have to finish the fight another day.

Cain snarled as the whips, all of them, did absolutely nothing he knew that John was experienced and a great fighter. Though he would never admit it he knew that one day it would either be him or Vladimir who would bring about his demise but he just did not want to accept defeat from this fool until that day came, the day he forced John to use his powers for evil, to force the ice manipulator to kill him or someone else without remorse, without a second thought. He grunted when his foot came in contact with the ice shield harming him a bit more than it should have. He limped off to the side before putting his foot down and getting ready for an attack as he ignored a snicker from Vlad, the boy came back and before he or Vladimir could rush at him he took John by the shoulder and they disappeared off into the night. "I will get you one day John Reeves, head my words you will die by my hands once again." Cain muttered out as both he and Vlad cursed their luck the two demons of the night looked up into the sky and raced off at the coming sunlight knowing they would be cutting it close.
