Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Contagion (first character..feedback welcome)
((OOC: This is my first character, and I'm not sure I did him right, or how he might fit into the RP world. Any feedback/advice is welcome. I can always make another if this idea wouldn't work))
Real Name: Jason Bradley
Super Hero/Villain/Renegade/etc Name: Contagion
Title: Zombie, Freak, and other negative names usually
Alignment: neutral/evil
Age: 22
Gender: male
Race: altered human
Hair: none
Eyes: gray pupils, hazy red coloring around pupils, somewhat bluish whites around that lined with almost black veins
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 125 pounds
Costume Description/Image: Contagion wears what once were plain clothes. Simple work boots, plain socks, blue denim jeans and a green and blue plaid long-sleeved shirt. All of these have uniformly come to be riddled with various rips and tears (even the leather of the work boots is cracked from water rot in places), as well as covered in dirt and what passes for blood in his body. NOTE: Sometimes, when captured, he is forced to wear special containment suit that prevents the contagion from spreading. Other times villains have him wear modified suits with various gadgets such as portals that open in the suit with fans to expel the virus in the direction he is facing.
Personality: Contagion feels strongly that his current situation is the fault of politicians, the economy, his employers, and people in general. He is tormented at his current condition, as well as the loss of everything normal in his life. The fact that people are trying to "help him" by bringing him in has only resulted in a slight paranoia and mistrust. His thought processes are somewhat disturbed by the contagion as well, causing him to often either join forces with other villains, or even act out on his own in plans of revenge on various people.
History: Jason Bradley is a case of the American dream gone wrong. The economy, combined with poor grades in high school and no college degree, made finding any job tough. When he was hired on at ChemCo, a company specializing in everything from pharmaceuticals to experimental chemical solutions to everything from insulation for houses to alternative fuel sources, it was a chance in his eyes to make it in life. Sadly, the job was horrible hours, and not that great of pay. Even so, Jason managed to maintain an apartment and even started seeing a woman who worked at the company named Shelly. Things were, slowly, looking up for him! Then came the break in. Reports are uncertain as to the person behind the attempt to obtain the alternative fuel source nearest to the live testing phase, but they hired people who had more muscles than brains. In the attempted robbery gunfire broke out. Jason was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. He didn't get shot, he wasn't that lucky. Instead the pipes churning the chemicals from point A to point B, and even a vat holding a supply of chemicals, were all riddled with bullets, causing a mixture of chemicals to splash over Jason's body. Others were splashed as well, but Jason was standing in exactly the right place to get hit by exactly the right combination of chemicals, a one in a million chance. He screamed as his flesh bubbled and hissed, and instead of running to a chemical shower, he struck out blindly, going through a nearby window and falling to the ground below. The transformation continued, and as Jason wandered the night streets he got a look at himself in a car's driver side mirror. The scream was a death bell on his life, his hopes, his future. It was also the birth of Contagion.
Powers: 1. Contagion (rank 3...EP?): Contagion's body constantly emits a complex virus which seems to continually change in his body, limiting the longevity of any cures. The contagion has a tendency to cause the body to divert large amounts of energy to fighting off what it perceives to be a disease. Symptoms include fatigue, lesions on the skin that are somewhat sensitive, blurred vision, difficulty thinking coherently, and excessive hunger. Though not complex to cure for even normal doctors, the constantly adapting contagion means each new outbreak will have to be addressed. This, as well as the time the cure takes to eliminate the symptoms (usually from a day to a week), and the fact that Jason's body spreads it by touch and air makes any appearance in a populated center a risk. 2. No pain (rank 2...added in END?): Contagion's body seems to feel no pain, and is moreover able to function even when wounds would normally make it impossible, as well as heal over time.
Power Grid: (You have 22 points to spend on your Power Grid unless you can fly, in which case you have 20. Each stat can start at 6, not 7. 7 must be earned.)
STR: 2
SPD: 2
END: 6
INT: 2
EP: 3
FS: 2
Power Grid colours: Green and black
Character Image/Description: The chemicals did not leave Jason looking well. All of his body hair has since fallen out, and his eyes altered (as listed above). His skin is kind of a grayish green, covered in lesions which leak a pus like substance as well as dark veins visible. His teeth look a kind of faded yellowish now. His finger and toenails both look thicker than normal, as well as very dark gray. While his wounds seem to heal, his skin usually looks like it is still healing, with almost unnatural scar tissue in various places that always seem to change, as well as scabs which seem to occasionally leak an almost black blood from underneath. He doesn't look physically tough, in fact almost gaunt. No tattoos or piercings. His voice often sounds like he has excessive moisture in his throat.
Roleplay Sample: It was dark and raining, but then it was almost always dark when he went out. The funny thing was he used to, before all this, think of himself as ugly. That brought a kind of gurgled laugh. He stopped near the edge of the alley, ignoring the rain. Looking at his hands in the glow from a nearby light post made him grit his teeth. This wasn't supposed to happen to normal people. Bad guys who fought off larger than life heroes were supposed to fall into vats of chemicals and become menaces, not an average guy trying to get his life started. Not for the first time he thought of ChemCo. What business did they have holding such potentially groundbreaking new chemicals on site and yet only hire a few lousy security officers he wouldn't trust to guard a cafeteria? It was their fault he was like this. Them and the individual or individuals who sent those thugs to take the formula. Just as he was thinking of how he would make them pay he heard a scream.
Looking up, he saw the woman looking at him in complete horror. The guy she was with was trying to shield him. For a moment he thought of Shelly. "Get out of here freak!" the man said, even as the woman tugged at his arm in an attempt to get him to leave the area with her.
"I'm just..." he began in his raspy, wet voice. It was too late, they were already fleeing. "...standing here," he concluded softly. At first he had been almost glad that those around him were getting infected. It was what they deserved for looking at him like a sideshow attraction, for calling him names....for not helping him. Any such thoughts had, for the most part, dwindled. Probably both of them had been close enough to be infected, though maybe it was their lucky night and the rain hindered the airborne virus just enough. It didn't matter, not really. He had been seen, and that meant either the CDC or other agency would be sending people out to try to catch him again, or worse, some do-gooder with powers would decide to "save" the town from the menace. It really was almost comical in a way. But he had no choice except to play the role he was given. Moving the manhole cover took time, but he managed it. "Other people get splashed with chemicals and can lift up busses," he said to no one in particular as he sought the refuge that the sewers might provide.

Re: Contagion (first character..feedback welcome)
The pain endurance works well as does the history (very nice) and personality.
The EP power is worded fine and it seems to be fine as a power with how its strength isn't overpowering. I just need to know how strong the virus is and how far it can spread through the air.

Re: Contagion (first character..feedback welcome)
Well the virus's airborne capability is really up to the winds and etc. He has no natural ability to cause it to flow towards someone (short of maybe waving his hands at them or blowing at them), and even a normal immune system would fight off a whiff or two. A lungful would certainly be a problem, as would continued exposure. The strength of the contagion is mainly RP. An average person might be bedridden, but even a normal human could remain active through it (probably like someone being active despite having the flu). For a hero/villain, especially one with higher endurance or drive, it would be a distraction, and something that should be cured ASAP, but it would be more RPed than anything (just act out the symptoms, the lower your endurance stat the more the symptoms could be played up).
