( This file documents the vigilante hero known only as the Gray Mask, it was information compiled on the mysterious hero by a top secret government facility, but it also details another side of the hero, a side few knew about and now none know about, since this document caused the entire facility and its occupants to vanish into thin air, leaving nothing but the concrete foundation the building once stood on. Read this at your own risk. You have been warned. )

However, This is not the default armor The Gray Mask usually wears, he also adds up-armored components to the suit which also serve as more advanced integrated subsystems, it also contains more of his equipment, make no mistake, this does not impede his mobility, a simple command sheds his up-armored components (which subsequently self-destruct to prevent reverse engineering of his technologies) and this merely serves to increase his mobility and stealth capabilities, completed, it looks as such

Personality: The Gray Mask is ruthless in his endeavors, he roots out crime and evil wherever he may catch even a whiff of it, he is stern, serious, and silent, preferring action as opposed to deliberation, he is incredibly confident in his skills but still knows his limits, he is always cautious, always careful, a perfectionist in his craft, he always keeps his calm even in the face of certain death and he never lets his emotions get involved in his judgment, he is a master psychologist and deals with criminals as he judges them, he acknowledges that some criminals may find redemption just as he acknowledges some will never be anything more than evil, those without redemption he is merciless in their punishment, usually dealing death to the worst offenders, and those with hope he teaches a lesson before going about his way, he is highly secretive and will stop at nothing to keep not only his devices secret but those of his alternate persona as well
Note: In either persona, Matt takes great pains NOT to reveal his telekinetic powers, he may use them subtly, or in such a way that it seems to be a gadget he has used, but there are none alive who know of his powers and he wishes to keep it that way, unless his life is on the line he will not reveal his powers in an overt or obvious manner
History: The Gray Mask started off as a young orphan living on the streets, his father was an abusive man and his mother never had the courage to stand up to him, so at the age of 5 he ran away, he learned many basic tricks about surviving on the streets until he was taken in at the age of 8 at the local orphanage, he learned from his rough and tumble past and threw himself into his education, training physically as well as scholastically day in and day out, seeing the ragged streets he came from has inspired a certain zeal within him, a will to protect the innocent and punish the wicked so that no other child may have to endure the same past as himself.
Powers:
Physically Fit: Matt's physical attributes are impressive, as he maintains a strict workout regimen, but he does not possess any superhuman qualities amongst these attributes and his attributes aren't as good as they could be, due to all the time Matt spends on intellectual pursuits
Intelligence: Matt is staggeringly intelligent, an expert in many different sciences, the foremost being psychological and biological sciences, he delights in biological experiments and often has several different experiments going on at once, he also loves playing mind games and prodding the psyche, whether it be human or otherwise
Telekinesis: Matt has a unique form of telekinesis, it does not manifest itself as a force, and so he is not necessarily adept at using it as an attack form, having trouble using blasts and other direct assault methods, it also keeps him from using levitation with his powers, the best way to describe it is remote manipulation, in Matts own studies on his powers he has described it as a mentally projected hand, its strength is not much more than his own and effects a relatively small area (as the "hand" is roughly the same size as the average persons hands) and his own powers fascinate him, as he describes it, the hand feels almost unlike his own creation, as if he mentally goads some incorporeal entity to remotely manipulate things for him
Fighting Skills: Matt has created his own personal fighting style, as well as his own repertoire of skills, his skill set focuses primarily on stealth, acrobatics, and maneuverability, his fighting style focuses on defense and waiting for an opening, allowing an opponent to reveal their weaknesses and then striking with quick, consecutive and decisive attacks

When he ventures out of his lair as his Doctor persona (which is rare) he usually wears a business suit and tie as seen here, usually he wears comfortable and baggy clothing, but he almost always has his signature gas mask on, even though it is slightly redundant (as through his many experiments upon his own body the good Doctor has already cybernetically augmented his lungs to filter out most if not all toxic airborne substances) in his own words he says he feels more comfortable confined in his gas mask, the actuality is that the subsystems built into the mask assist him in most experiments, as do what he calls his "Dex Gloves" mechanically augmented gloves that stores muscle memory data in its computerized subsystems and increases manual dexterity

- Doctor Filth is certainly an interesting character to say the least, he is not necessarily evil in his endeavors, he doesn't want to take over the world, he doesn't want all the flashy publicity, he doesn't care about the public fearing him, he doesn't necessarily crave power in the same way as other villains, he is obsessed with unlocking the secrets of the universe, of life itself, and he does not care how what he has to do to accomplish this, what qualifies him as evil is his complete disregard for morals in the pursuit of his goals, he has performed horrifying experiments upon people, children, elderly, even a plethora of animals, he cares nothing for their cries of help, their cries of pain, and finally, their cries, begging for death. Filth is fascinated more by psychology than any of the other sciences and in doing so has created his most elaborate experiment ever, The Gray Mask, it started as an experiment to learn about superhero methodology and psychology so that he may better understand and therefore better deal with superheroes, but in Filths sick and twisted mind it has quickly grown into an obsession, an addiction, the line between Doctor Filth and The Gray Mask is becoming more and more blurred as Filth throws himself more and more into the role

- For those of you who weren't astute enough to assume it already, the above history is entirely false, that backstory is what most learn if they take the time and effort to piece together what little past The Gray Mask talks about, and of course it is purposely meant to hide the truth, the truth is that Matt was born to one of the richest business empires in the world, his father was an arms manufacturer, leader in cutting edge weaponry and combat technology, his mother was a genius in the field of biochemistry and his parents marriage was born out of mutual business interests moreso than romance, but nevertheless the inevitable happened and Matt was born, he was pampered as a child, waited on hand and foot, that is until his powers surfaced, his mother and father saw it as a business opportunity and began numerous, but humane experiments upon him, he lived in relative isolation until a special phenomena born from experimentation upon his powers opened up a rift within him, transporting him to an alien dimension, a place where three suns hung in the sky, the landscape mirrored our own but was ravaged by war and conflict, its people barely more advanced than tribals, the physics here were slightly off, the universal laws bent at odd angles, time flowed at a slightly slower pace, arcane magicks, though the people of the land had long since lost the knowledge of its use, the flora and fauna was different and young Matt had to adapt at the age of only 12, he eventually went on to heal the schism between the people of the land with the help of his telekinetic powers and he assisted them in getting back in touch with the natural flow of energy in their world, they in turn hailed him as a savior and with their newfound arcane abilities coupled with Matts powers, he was able to return home safely within his own dimension, a year having passed in his realm during this time, compare it to any story you want, the aftermath of his adventure was not as pleasant as the stories you may have heard, having caused a scare to his parents they put him, quite literally, under lock and key, he lived for the next 7 years in his small cell, experimented on daily, his free time spent either honing his already naturally keen intellect and keeping in shape, on his 20th birthday, after his mental health had already deteriorated to nothing more than a fray, his parents being able to offer him no more, he walked right out of his cell as if he'd done it every day, making his way straight to his parents quarters and subjecting upon them the same experiments they had subjected upon him, though he wasn't as gentle, he tortured them until they begged him for death, and only because they were those who had given him life and he at least owed them for that, he granted their request, he quickly took over the family business and made several technological breakthroughs within his first month, more than his father had ever made in his entire career, it wasn't long before he grew tired of the monotony and he ended up putting a board in charge of the company decisions while he went on about his own devices..

- Matt was breathing idly through his gas mask, the steady click of the air filtration system comforted him as he tapped absentmindedly away on his keyboard, putting together the finishing touches on his temporal distortion machine, a few seconds later his tapping stopped abruptly and Matt stretched back in his seat, his joints cracking audibly as he sighed in content, he smiled within the confines of his mask, it'd been years since he had since that magical world of turmoil, he wanted so dearly to see what had become of the people he had left behind so long ago, in his mind ideas whirled, what could he do to them? How had they changed? He quickly stopped his questions and got up from his chair, he walked over to the command console and flicked a few switches, launching the start up systems, the tesla coils that would act as the conduit to activate certain phenomena in his brain hummed to life and quickly began slowly crackling with electricity, Matt procured all his effects and stood before the coil, dressed in his Gray Mask outfit, again, he smiled to himself. Suddenly a bolt of electricity sprang from the coil and hit Gray Mask square in the chest, first the layer of armor slowly disintegrated, then his skin, followed by his muscles, leaving his skeleton to slowly disappear, frozen in a silent scream, he was gone in a moment.
