Her eyes widened as she saw her opponent sink into his shadows avoiding nearly all of her attacks. Once Gena hit the ground, she could feel his cold presence rise up behind her. She held perfectly still as the shadow man appeared behind her. She should have expected an ability like appearing in other people's shadows as he just did, but she was too busy at her out lash of attacks to protect herself from such an ability. He still had his sword in hand and he put it up against her through, just by looking at the terrifying weapon she could tell how absolutely deadly it was. Unfortunately for him, he did make a rather large mistake. Though it was painful for her, it was working to Gena's advantage as the man forcefully pushed his index finger against her face and neck.
First, she created a very thick and dense ice collar around her neck to prevent him from doing any damage there. And since his finger was on her neck and he was in contact with her, she was able to very rapidly encase the rest of his body and weapon in another one of her ice prisons. Though like last time, this would only buy her a couple of seconds before he breaks free. Gena quickly slipped under his frozen arm holding the weapon and put some distance between them. She then out stretched both her arms and began creating her signature Crystal Ice Mirror technique. There was already one mirror behind her opponent, and she proceeded to create 20 more, and made sure to position them at angles were they would reflect the most light. Once completed there were 21 total mirrors twelve remain at ground level, eight float above the first twelve and angled toward the ground, and the final mirror is above the rest and facing the ground in a dome like formation. With all the light reflecting off the different mirrors, the inside of the dome created by the ice mirrors was blindingly bright everything looking like a washed out white color. To complete the technique, Genevieve stepped into the mirror closest to her. Her image appeared on all 21 mirrors and they all moved simultaneously as she prepared to attack once the shadow lord broke free from his prison by forming ice senbon needles in between three of her knuckles. Though Gena had entered one of the mirrors on the ground level, she was actually hiding in the mirror highest up that was facing directly down. But with her image on all 21 mirrors, there was no way to tel where she truly was.

Cain blinks confused as he was quickly incased into a complete block of ice wondering what the hell is going on. He yells curses and nonexestint nothingness before his mouth is covered and the shouts silenced. He struggles with the ice, watching as she makes the damn ice mirror things and stops struggeling, knowing what will come next. Though he isn't the smartest being in the world he isn't the dumbest either and is proven right as she walks into the mirror. He watches her image appear on all the mirrors, the deaddly looking ice needleds in all twenty-one hands makes him snarl as the shadows all around them start to rise and lash out at all the mirrors they can reach with his influence, yet still 'traped' in her prison. He had 'struggled' throughout the entire time making it seem as if he can't break free from it though in reality he could possibly shatter it in two to three punches. "Come out, come out wherever you are my pretty...Cainey wants to plaaaayyy..." He calls out as the shadows start to spread up making a shadow dome inside of the mirrors, or so that they are outside it, and once it is finished and the mirrors unable to see inside of it he breaks free from the prison laughing menacingly. He himself touches a wall of it and slides into the shadow dome, letting it spread out encasing the mirrors so that they are in the dome as well. He speaks and his voice echoes from everywhere in the dome as whips lash out at every mirror, at least two at all of them. "You feeling safe now babe? This is my domaine, you mess with the Lord of Shadows and you get death, destructuion, and the fangs...get out of this one alive if you can. He says voice echoing from everywhich way hopefully sending shivers up her spine, and maybe making the real 'Ice Princess' come out from her hiding spot.

Genevieve was patiently waiting for her opponent to break free of her ice prison, though it seemed to be taking him an oddly longer amount of time that previously so she thought that he might have been plotting something. And just then, her theory was proven right. A dome of shadows emerged and almost encased her mirrors, she then heard a shattering noise signifying that he had in fact now broken out of her ice prison. The shadow dome that had been created began expanding until it completely covered all of her mirrors. He then began forcefully attacking all of Gena's mirrors with shadows. All of them were heavily damage and just less than half had been destroyed. Though she did know which mirrors had been damaged and those that she lost and began her swift repairs accordingly. Following, Her opponent began speaking again, and it seemed to be coming from all angles. He sounded as confident as ever even though at this point there were now even. She may be in his domain, but she also has her own domain still active and running.
Gena, on the other hand, was still safe in her mirrors. He does not know her location, and she can change it anyways. She may not have her opponent on the run, but she surely will not allow him to have the upper hand. Using the images of her on the 21 mirrors, she decided to fight back projecting her voice also making it sound as if she was everywhere.
"Listen here you wanna be dark lord, you are not as powerful as you think you are. No one is afraid of your little shadows, and if you're going to keep trying to play this tough guy then I know for a fact that you're in a corner. Trust me when I say, after this you'll know better than to mess with the likes of me..."
After her little speech, a solid pillar of ice shot straight down into the ground and up into the top of the dome from the top mirror. The pillar took up the entire mirror leaving it very dense. Gena resided in this pillar as she went fourth with her attack. Following from the other 20 mirrors, sharp icicles the same size and density as the main pillar shot out going as far as they could against the dome of shadows. She then caused the spikes to rotate, the top layer moved clockwise, and the level under that counterclockwise with the hope that this would cause some damage to the walls or at least strain him enough to let down the dome. These large spikes were also causing a powerful air current that could knock someone over if they had not properly planted themselves. Also, since the bottom most layer of rotating spikes were so close to the ground, it would be near impossible to avoid by ducking, and if they went up they would risk getting torn apart by the rapidly spinning upper layer.

From inside his shadow dome Cain watched and listened to everything she said. It was all just a little speech to try an make herself feel stronger and better than she truly was, oh how niave this poor girl was thinking she could truly defeat him. The pillar that shot down the middle of the dome from the top ice mirror was odd, it didn't seem to do anything but what came next almost did. The 20 spinning spikes shooting out at the dome was met themselves by his own shadow drills jutting out of the wall and meeting them head on. Be knew he was more powerful so his drills would probably counter them as well as brake them or drill all the way through all the way back to the mirrors. With that he turned his attention back to the center pillar of ice and sent fifty shadow whips flying out at it with all the force he could muster. "Do you truly think you can defeat me blondie? You are beautiful and powerful, if you give up now I may let you live and we could work together to get what we both want. If not you will die." He spoke making his voice sound as if he was coming from everywhere then slinked out of the dome now in the outside of it as he waited, the whips and drills still going strong as he drew his shadow kilij and summoned two 'brute' vampires and fifteen shadow monsters as well as four wolves to surround it. If she got out of the dome there would be no way she could get past his creatures of the night.

Ms. Montreal was in quite some trouble, she had to get out of this shadow dome and fast. She could not keep her mirrors active with all the damage they were taking. Gena allowed all but the left most mirror to be shattered, from this mirror she fashioned an ice pillar as sharp as she could get it an punched it straight through the shadow dome. With the ice lodged in the shadows, she traveled through the ice and out before it was shattered. In mid air she could see what she faced. There were 15 very menacing looking creatures and another two human looking individuals, she could assume the worst with those two. As she was falling, an ice mirror appeared behind her that she fell into. Two more almost instantly materialized behind the two human-like creatures, she quickly put her hand on one freezing it in place, then moved to the second mirror and froze the other. The Ice Mirror she had in the air hit the ground and shattered into dozens of pieces while she was freezing the two, the sharp shards of ice began to levitate as they had before and shot at the creatures.
Gena created a third mirror behind where the first one shattered and stepped out and allowed it to turn to snow and gently fluttered around her. She held her hands out about 9 or 10 inches away from each other and the snow swirled into a highly condensed ice ball that she shot at the Shadow Lord. As he dealt with what she had just dished out she began preparing her next attack by first creating another mirror behind her. Between her hands a ball of ice began to form from what seemed to be nothing, Gena was actually freezing and compressing the CO2 that was in the air creating an increasing mass of dry ice. Once she got it large enough Gena could spread it out evenly all over the train station and freeze out this shadow fiend.

Cain watched the little bit of ice that made it through the shadow dome and immediately assumed the worse. For what else could he assume with the power she displayed in this fight. He had the dome melt back into the shadows knowing that with it up he wouldn’t be able to get much more shadows in this closed off area. None of them noticed the ice mirrors that appeared behind them and his two ‘brutes’ were frozen in place which of course only pissed Cain off more so. Yet, they quickly started to use all of their strength to break out of the ice though it was taking longer than they thought it would.

The ice that was shooting out at the shadow creatures were seen but most could not react to it, though those of them that did disappeared back into the shadows and formed up behind her once again. Though only seven of them were left it would be enough with the four wolves that she seemed to completely miss in the attack. The wolves howled and rushed at her attempting to maul the girl from the front and the sides while the shadow creatures sent fists and feet flying out at her from behind. By this time Cain had seen the ice ball flying out at him and had a giant shadow like hand reach up and snag the thing out of the air and attempted to crush it.

By this time the brutes had broken free of their ice prisons and they were not happy. They were the strongest vampires that Cain had under his command and were not ones to be taken down so easily. This pretty little blonde would be under them and dying as they drained her of her blood when they got a hold of her. They too rushed out at her at inhuman speeds around eighty miles an hour quickly closing the short distance the brutes snarled and the two wolves in front backed off as they sent two bone shattering punches right out at her, they did not care for the ice that was slowly forming between her hands and nor did they see it. Cain also was not scared of it simply because he thought there was no way she would escape this little stunt.

Gena was not concerned about him catching the ball of ice, she could see that her ice prisons were being broken down. The shards of ice had been able to take out some of the creatures, but the others disappeared into the shadows. Before they reappeared Gena quickly jumped into the ice mirror behind her for protection, bringing the ever growing ball of dry ice with her. When the shadow monsters appeared again the started to attack the mirror, she retaliated by sending multiple icicles from within the mirror out into the seven that were attacking hoping to do away with them. Following the two wolves came through and attacked her mirror causing it to crack like thick glass. She tried attacking them while repairing the mirror, but they moved out of the way making room for the two whom she had frozen earlier. The two were moving far too fast for her react properly so she braced herself for the impact.
The mirror shattered, and from the largest piece Gena flew out above and behind the two brutes, the ball of ice floating behind her. The shards of ice from the shattered mirror stopped before they even hit the ground. While in the air, She froze the two's feet to the ground and then landed out of range from them, following Gena had the shards of ice swirl around the wolves and brutes like a swarm of bees cutting and slicing them at every angle they could. She formed more sharp shards of ice and threw them into the mix as well. Genevieve then turned to Cain and took a deep breath in and out. The dry ice was now about the size of a soft ball and still growing, she still needed more time...
In between her fingers in both hands ice shurikin appeared between each knuckle. She launched them at the shadow lord, and they were traveling in a predictable path, but once they got within a few feet of him they split off and started to swarm and spin around him as the other shards of ice were to his other creatures. Gena then took a knee folded her hands and put them to her forehead, immediately following an extremely thick cylinder of ice shot up from the ground and lodged itself in the ceiling completely encasing her. While out of view Gena created three more mirrors, she knew that this ice prison would not keep him out forever, but she would be ready when he did. Hopefully this defense would buy her enough time to finish putting her plan into place.

Cain snarled watching her jump into the damn ice mirror that he had not seen before hand. When the shadow monsters attacked the mirror the icicles speared through them and instantly ‘killed’ them off. Though the two wolves did as planned and cracked the mirror like glass and the two that continued to attack did so while the others moved and let the brutes go to work. They smirked and watched as it flew out at random places and looked around for her, only to feel the ice slowly crawl up their legs. They shattered the ice before it even had time to make a dent on them. The wolves, though animalistic having lost sense of their human selves long ago, noticed the ice swirling around them and snarled trying to get away from it. They sprinted out of the circle and left the brutes to deal with the attacks themselves, though they did not make it out a live that was for sure.

Cain chuckled watching the scene before him, arms crossed over his chest he looked to the wolves nodding his head to the side telling them to get out which they quickly did. The shurikins spinning around him were a nuisance but were easily dealt with as he had shadows like hands fly out and crush them in their grasps before pulling them back down into the ground so she couldn’t use the shards from them again. It was obvious she was powerful but she would not defeat him here tonight, not in his element at least. He watched her shoot the ice pillar up into the ceiling once again and yawned in annoyance from the repetitive attacks. Although he may not be the sharpest tool in the shed even he caught on after all this. As expected three more mirrors popped up around the giant pillar and he simply rolled his eyes once again.

“So repetitive, so easy to figure out, let us try something new shall we?” He spoke with a grin as three shadow whips flew out at the mirrors, each with enough force and speed to shatter them in an instant. Following that up he pulled out his kilij and spun it in his hand, the shadows radiating off of him and swarming around him in a circle. He had no fear of her ice attacks nor anything she could throw at him to be honest. To him she was just another object in the way and he was going to prove he could not be defeated. Grinning to himself as he stepped up only two feet from the pillar he slashed out at it with his nigh indestructible blade attempting to cut into her ‘prison’ of sorts.

Gena could feel her mirrors shatter and she knew that she did not have much time. The pounding began and she could feel her defensive pillar of ice being broken down. She did not waste her time trying to repair it because it would only slow down the creation of her dry ice bomb. The onslaught against her defense had ceased for a moment, she could not see out so she was very unsure as to what was happening. She stepped up only two feet from the walls of the pillar trying to listen for something. And just from feeling, she could tell there was movement. Her eyes widened and she ducked down narrowly avoiding the sword that had just cut her pillar in half. The top half slid slow down the angle it was sliced and fell off the bottom half with a large thud. Genevieve crawled fearfully to the other end of the ice pillar breathing heavily, even thought she was only playing scared she was still on the verge of exhaustion. This conflict had been dragging on for almost too long.
Her ball of ice that she was working on was nowhere in sight, she had hidden it in the top half of the pillar that was now to her left against the wall as she was facing her opponent. She noticed that most of the pillars supporting the ceiling had been either damaged or removed during the battle, so the place could come down on them if any more damage was done. This had to be her last move if she wanted to make it out of here alive. Gena quickly brought herself to her feet and clapper her hands together. The half of the pillar around her sunk into the ground as the ice spread out fusing itself into the concrete, the top half condensed down and fused around the now large beach ball sized sphere of dry ice. It then split into six pieces and went to the four walls, the ceiling and floor. The pieces sunk into the sides of the subway platform covering every inch with dry ice. Anything touching the floor while it was being covered would also get encased by the dry ice. Genevieve may be able to endure Antarctic temperatures, but dry ice exists at -103* Fahrenheit even she would get frost bitten if she touched it without protection. The entrance way to the platform was closing and while she could still see she created an ice mirror at the last second in case she was in need of escape.
The temperature was dropping rapidly and she wondered how long this shadow lord could stand the cold. Even so, eventually the sublimating dry ice would suffocate them from the displacement of oxygen, and with this much dry ice that might not be too long...

Cain smirked as the mirrors were destroyed and the pillar fell to the ground, split in half. He smirked spinning it in his hand when she crawled to the bottom split part he only watched with an amused look on his face. It was obvious she was tired, this was putting too much of a strain on her week body to continue doing. She was powerful, that much was for sure but she would not get out of this fight a live, he would make sure of that. Cracking his neck he looked up at the ceiling and then around the room at everything else, it seemed some of the pillars were missing. If they weren’t careful this place would be utterly destroyed, and that was just exactly what he was planning on doing.

He turned his attention back to the girl just in time to see her clap her hands together. With a raised eyebrow he watched as the bottom part of the ice spread out into the floor as if becoming part of the concrete and the top part became part of a ball. He couldn’t tell what exactly what was going on but the ice was spreading out everywhere that much was for certain. He watched as the subway station was incased in her specially made ice, and although it would possibly kill normal people in seconds he himself was relatively fine. Yes he could feel the cold but that was it, to him this was just like being in a freezer. He’d feel the cold soon enough though.

Cain shivered and let out a small breath watching the air as it left his breath in that odd misty form you see when it’s cold. He looked around and up at the ceiling once again with a smirk on his face, this could kill both of him he knew that but he was perfectly fine with that. He sent shadows flying out at all the support beams left in the subway and had it come crashing down on top of them. At the last second though he used the shadows to make a dome just big enough around his body that he wouldn’t be effected in any way shape or form. The dome took the force of the roof that fell on top of him, he stayed and waited for awhile until he was sure she would be dead from the force and everything else. Then he sent the dome flying outwards and sending the rubble off of him. The cops and ambulance had arrived and were working their way too his location when this happened and were struck down by the rubble. Only for him to grin in the moonlight and take off into the moonlight. The Lord of Shadows, once again got away with a good clean kill and no cops to identify his face.
