Sean winced lightly as she insisted on asking him what his job was. He couldn't tell her, it would not end well one bit. Though he was unsure of how long he could keep this up before she found out anyway.She has got to stop asking all these questions. Sean mentally noted, as he made sure to keep a smile on his face. "Maybe if you just kill her there won't be so many questions. It won't be that hard Sean, just a thought and you could tear her apart with your power." A dark voice growled in the back of his mind. Though he knew who it was, and what it wanted. Though he tried to ignore its dark voice, that seemed almost to tempting to turn away.

"I have a job." Sean answered her, as he heard her go on into another sentence He didn't really have a mode of transportation picked out himself, but he knew a bus would be coming around here. In about three minutes so he knew what to say. "We will be taking a bus, one comes around here about this time anyway." He motioned for her to follow him out the door, where they would walk down the street to a bus stop. With a minute, or two to spare. Until the bus would rive up for them to step onto.

"Gee... that's specific." she said, sarcasm evident in her tone as she rolled her eyes. She dropped it though, deciding that she had tried enough times today. There was always the next day... and the next... and the next... She snickered slightly, she was going to get it out of him somehow. With that resolve made, she pushed that to the back of her mind, and simply waited for Sean to formulate a reply for her last few questions. When he replied, she smiled widely. "Awesome!" she said with a nod, following Sean out the door and down the street to the bus stop. As they walked, she mentally renewed the barrier against Nofuretsu in her mind, not wanting him to ruin her day. The thing was evil... useful, but evil.

With a sigh, she sat down on the bus stop bench, simply staring at the sky for a few moments as her mind tried to comprehend how screwed up her life had gotten in a period of less then a year. From playing hero, to avoiding getting killed, to haunted cuff's... her life read like a comic book now. She remembered how she used to dream of adventure... well, now that she thought back, it was pretty cool. But still, life was getting weirder and weirder. Blinking a few times, she looked down the street. The bus was coming.

Greyish orbs followed followed the bus, as it came to a stop, brakes halting its momentum. Sean popped his neck, as his knees creaked in protest. Eyes darting over to Alice, with a geasture that said, follow. Without a second to waste, Sean stepped up the few small steps into the rather cramped bus. Hands digging into his pockets. Paying the typical fee that would be required, with as little as a thought. He chose the first vacant seat he could scope out, making sure there was room for Alice, as he absently hummed a tune to himself. Sean wonderign to himself what the day would be like, though it would most likely be fun. If he didn't have his place of employment found out, one way, or the other. That would ruin the semblance of life that he had, and Sean would not allow it. So now all he had to do was wait out this bus ride.
