Where am I? The HOSPITAL?! (Invite Only)

The worry was like a crushing weight on him. Not but a day ago he was fighting his sister. In some underground fight. Then he was in a hospital. Which felt all too surreal to him. Since he never knew he had a sister in the first place. Nor that he had any brothers either. It was all too confusing to him. Like one of those complex Sci-Fi movies. Though Sean even understood them. This felt all too different. Like his life now took place in a world where it was flip flopped. His mom wasn't dead and his dad wasn't who he thought he was. Also he had siblings for christ sake! Oh how he craved to have those. It was a secret desire he always hoped for. Though his mom was told she was lucky to have him. Let alone another kid. yet here he is. Now with three siblings. Which felt fulfilling to say the least.

Sean had waited in the waiting room of the hospital for about all night. As Paine was kept for care. Most likely under some kind of drugs. Oh how he hated hospital drugs. Yet he had to stay. For his sisters sake anyway. Half-sister but still they were related by blood. While he got out of the fight with a few bruises. Some self inflicted, and a cut on his forehead. Paine got some kinda headache. Most likely from her weird power. Which was most likely just ice. It was a curiosity to him. It worked way different than his power. He could only change the state of water and use it as a weapon. While she did amazing things with ice. It was a miracle to see it in action, and not having it used on you.

Sean sat on a bench waiting. Tight pants even more ragged than before. Rips extending down past his knees a good inch or two. Shirt wrinkled yet still skin tight. Black hair with blonde highlights somewhat messy. Greyish eyes somewhat tired. Yet his ring in his left eyebrow and right side of his lip still gleamed. Fingers interlaced as he waited. Most likely Pain would come as well. Which would give Sean ample time to bring up a certain topic. Though that would wait. Wait until he found out how Paine was. Even though she beat his ass like a drum. Didn't mean he lost any sibling love for her. No actually it gained for her respect in his eyes. She was a greater person than he gave her credit. So hopefully she would make it through. After all Paine seemed tougher than that. Only a few more hours at the most was probably what she needed.

A nurse came to him telling that he could see her now. About damn time. Sean had been waiting a good while. Now they just decided to let him visit. Sometimes he wondered about the hospital system. "Thanks." He answered simply. With a pleasant dazzling smile. Heels tapping together in a sort of melody. Lips pursing as she turned away. How was Paine doing? Also he remembered the strange woman who took it upon herself to visit his sister without approval. Well whatever they gave in hospitals. Sean had never been in many hospitals. In fact the only time he had been was that time at the Best Buy. As the back of his left thigh ached from the memory of the bullet. A reminder he was not bulletproof. Even if his skin was not made of diamond. It was tough. Though nowhere near Pain toughness. Though he pondered what gave Pain that skin. It was a curiosity that bugged him since he met the man.

The nurse left the waiting room. After telling the people they could see their loved ones. Which Sean was relieved about. For an odd reason he was waiting for her to leave and go about her business. This was family business. Though his jackass of a father wasn't there. No he was probably too busy chasing tail. "Man whore." Sean muttered under his breath ruefully. Condensing a small pool of water in front of his face. Removing the fingerless gloves from his hands. Cupping both hands as he splashed water onto his face. Waking him up slightly. Eyes opening wider. Taking in a deep, deep breath. As the water evaporated back into the air. Pulling the gloves on gingerly as he stood up. Knees creaking in protest. Most likely from sitting so damn long. As he stretched both arms out. Elbow joints popping. Taking in a deep breath. Hoping to see her just having something minor. Maybe even nothing at all. Especially a problem she had after a fight with him. So it was the least he could do.

As he took his sweet gay time to walk down the wonderful hallway to her room. Eyes wondering along the plain white walls. Taking in the rancid smells of the hospital. Well smells he was not fond of at all. Hands digging deep into his pocket. Glancing at the door. Which he knew Paine was on the other side. Slowly he took a breath and walked through. Opening the door slowly. As his head poked in. Greyish eyes scanning the room. Looking over Paine who was loopy on a hospital bed, and a strange woman. Which he eye warily. Not that he could trust Paine much, but he knew this woman not at all. She seemed a threat. Fist clenching tight. Fingers accidentally denting the knob of the door before he realized. "Damn. Forgot how strong I was." Sean thought a bit angrily. As he pushed the door open. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything." he said with a sheepish voice. Looking a bit younger than he was. About sixteen by the way he talked. Eyes catching the light. Giving them an icy blue look. As he stepped in. Hands still dug into his pockets. As he took a simple bare seat at the corner of the room. Near the door of course. Wondering what reactions would happen next.

The woman's protective attitude was unexpected . Was she Paine's mom or something? What abilities did she have? Sean looked at her warily. Lips turning into a frown at the corner. As one hand traced his forehead. Feeling the slight bruising. Which stung to the touch. It hurt, but that's what you get for fighting. "Mental note. Don't let someone get that close." Sean noted mentally while a hand drifted behind the seat he sat on. Hiding it from view. As a dagger of ice took shape. Water condensing into shape. Ready for an attack if it came. Though Paine spoke up. Looks like any problem would be resolved as the dagger silently evaporated. Paine seemed still messed up on morphine. So it would affect her somewhat. Indicated by the uncontrolled laughter. He decided to not put his two-cents into this pleasant conversation. Let it sort itself out. Fight if need be. Out of boredom he crossed his legs. Leg still on the ground tapping on the linoleum. Making a distinct tapping sound. Fingers interlacing. Whoever the woman was she had a presence about her. Something Sean felt uneasy about. He cleared his throat. Licking his dry lips. Though for all he knew that would only somehow make them dryer. "Yeah i suppose it's true. I'm her brother." he sighed. Scratching the back of his head. Somewhat annoyed he had to be here at all.

Sean relaxed. Leaning over to one side. As he took a deep calm breath. Well Paine knew the woman, and she knew Pain. Apparently anyway. Though she was intent on calling him Deluge. A name he only chose as his fighting ring name. Outside he preferred to be called Sean. Had a nicer ring to it. Also didn't sound so false. Then Paine decided to tell him her name. Rebecca eh? Sounded like a well enough name. "Good enough name. My names Sean. I like that one way better than Deluge." He said with a deep sigh. Blinking slow and lazily. Well then was the unexpected. Which was somewhat expected from the stupid woman pulling the drip out. It was common sense not to do that. Indicated by her scream of pain. As ice covered her. It seemed it was a defense mechanism. Sean stood up. Walking briskly to the Rebecca. Taking the drip that was so rudely taken out. Placing it with some effort back in to the arm it had been in. Frowning slightly at the woman. He never liked it when people did things like this. That woman was no nurse. Well from what he could tell. So she had no right to go about removing drips. At least Sean did enough study to place an I.V drip. "There all better." He muttered to himself. Giving a look at Scarletta that said "I dare you to try again." Yet he didn't want her to. Might lead to a possible fight. Sean was in no mood to fight. His face didn't need anymore bruising.

At his apartment in New York, the Big Guy was out cold in his bedroom. He was lazily laid out on his bed with half the covers tossed off of him. He wore nothing but his boxers while he slept, having spent the previous night with Scarletta. The sun had been up for a long time, and he had slept in well past noon. Despite him sleeping in, it wasn’t exactly the most peaceful sleep; his dreams were spiked with nightmares. He rarely ever got sleep, so when he finally caught some, he might as well have been hibernating. A loud ring of his apartment’s phone screamed into his dreams and pulled him back into reality. His bright blue eyes slowly blinked to life as he awakened from his slumber. Pain didn’t wake in time to catch the call, and whoever it was got his voicemail; whatever, probably some telemarketer. He shrugged it off and sat up, rubbing his eyes with a little frustration. “Stupid phone…” He grumbled under his breath as he moved to sit on the edge of his bed. Both hands moved to run his large fingers through his dark grey hair before digging the stubs of nails he had into his scalp. A deep breath escaped him as his head lifted back up, eyes darting over to the digital clock that rested on his dresser. His hands left his head as he rose to his feet, his right sliding down his face to rest at his side, while his left moved to rub the thick stubble’s of gray hair on his chin. ‘Should probably shave…’ He thought to himself as he staggered over to his dresser; he was still pretty tired.

While Pain was pulling out a random outfit, his brain reminded him of Scarlet, and his head slowly turned around to see if she was still in bed. Obviously she wasn’t, was dumb to even look, why would she sleep in as long as he did? She actually had a normal sleeping schedule. He brought his clean clothes to the bathroom with him and washed up in the hottest possible shower water; he could feel the water more easily when it was extreme temperatures. After his twenty minute shower he squeezed his muscular body into his tight pants; it was extremely difficult to find clothes that really fit the Big Guy, so everything was tight on him. Pain looked at himself in the mirror with a little disappointment at man he was, unfortunately a part of him continued to eat away at his conscious; he was his own worst enemy at times. He shrugged off his pessimistic thoughts and tried to replace it with optimism as he went to brush his teeth. That stupid voicemail came to his thoughts again, and he figured he might as well go ahead and check it. He continued to brush his teeth as he walked over to check his messages. Immediately after it started playing, he knew he was dead wrong about it being unimportant. The message was far too brief to even have a clue what was going on, whether this was something major or not was completely unknown to him, but judging by Scarlet’s voice it was serious. “Just what I needed.” He uttered sarcastically with his toothbrush still hanging in his mouth.

His toothbrush was tossed into the sink and he took hardly anytime to rinse. He’d already wasted enough time, he had to get moving quick, if this ‘Paine’ or ‘Becca’ was truly his daughter, he had to make an effort somewhere. He wasn’t a bad guy, even if some people thought he was heartless, he was far from it. Pain wanted to be a good father, but he just had no idea where to even start, after all this was all sprung on him in an awful way. He picked up his black shirt and forced it onto his muscular torso as he walked towards the exit. His shoes were yanked up in a hurry, clean socks waiting for him inside them; Scarlet must have done that. The socks and shoes were swiftly thrown onto his massive feet while he stood outside his apartment door. “Wait a sec’…Which goddamn hospital?” He grumbled to himself, a little annoyed that he was left in the dark. Pain could have just called Scarlet, but he was gonna’ just go with his gut, and he was too damn stubborn to call anyway. Probably the same hospital Scarlet went to, in the middle of this massive city. With one simple leap he easily reached the rooftop of his apartment complex; that never got old. From one leg to another, he leapt from rooftop to rooftop towards his destination. He wasn’t the fastest on his feet, but this made travelling quick and easy for the Big Guy.

It didn’t take him long to reach the Hospital, but something made him hesitate entering. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but he stood in front of that building for at least two minutes just staring at it. He was nervous to go from here, what would he say, what should he do? Where does he even start? So many questions of self doubt ran through his head, but he sucked it up and moved in with his head held high. Pain couldn’t let anything keep him down, he had to be strong for the people around him; he was convinced he always had to be invincible. His arms swayed powerfully at his sides as he strolled into the hospital, walking right up to the visitor check in and simply demanding. “Where’s Rebecca? The O’Day kid.” His rough voice and intimidating size frightened the man working the visitor desk. The man stuttered in fear as he spoke, he knew it was the Legendary Pain standing before him, “I-I’m afraid I can’t tell that to you, Sir. Only family and close friends can visit patients.” The Big Man lifted his right hand, bending and cracking each finger slowly before the frightened man. “I’m her father. Now tell me where she is punk.” It took no time for the man to talk, he probably just wanted to get Pain out of there. Good thing too, no need to waste anymore time.

Pain arrived at the entrance to Rebecca’s room and was very surprised to see the crowd that had gathered. He had missed everything they were talking about, but why the hell was Sean here? That confused the hell out of him. Scarlet and Rebecca seemed to be in the middle of something, so the Big Guy stood in the doorway quietly waiting for them to finish. His eyes darted around the room, but they constantly moved to Rebecca. She really did look like him; she has eyes exactly like his. She looked like her mother too.. "Yo." Was all Pain said to introduce himself to everyone in the room, his rough voice impossible to confuse or miss.
