Canada has a stronger military than Turkey? That's just sad. Poor Turkey. So who's gonna go break the news to em?

Canada is actually decent on the military scale, as is France, despite common perception.

The problem I have with this has nothing to do with people getting offended by politics or anything, since no one here is a die hard ideologue or anything like that.

My problem is that if people own countries and conglomerations that control most of the media it becomes a form of godmodding that makes other characters have to adapt their characters without ever having a chance to prevent something from happening.

Large powerful groups are one thing, but nations and global networks all belonging to one person is another. This is a social, very liberal usage of that word, and if you want to control all of the main stream media sources, get a group of other players to help you with it. I veto one player owing anything larger than a single corporation on his own.

I'll admit it does seem unfair, but NK managed to best Communist Party with aid of FEARE. FEARE and members are now gone, so NK is sole controller.

However, I'll put Chinese military dictatorship under SCAR control, with NK having most power over them.

How did you best them though? It kind of sounds like you took control of a giant country by getting shot by Coffin and then having Ferrum drive you home.

That is most of what happened, but the thing was that Ferrum and Malady killed off the Communists by being there, and killing off most of the people in the room during the arms deal. Nightkill was making the arms deal, had contacts in the military, and then the military took over in the four year time skip. I can add in more details as to the actual takeover, but that's the basics. Be in mind that there are many other groups in China, but in general the military dictatorship has been more benevolent than the Communist Party, so not as much reason to rebel.

So everyone who controlled China was in the same building at the same time?

Instead of filling in the details on how you came to power, you need to just do it in a linear manner. Let the war thread begin your conquest so others can try and oppose it. Retroactive conquest is what got this whole mess started. You one day said "I run China, I'll fill in details later, but I run China." That cannot happen; its not even close to being fair.
