Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Re: The ATL
Martin was in Atlanta, Georgia. A place he had never expected to be for a Science Fair. He sighed as he rode his red motorcycle through the streets of the suburban town. Not really sure how to ride a motorbike, he made sure to go slow, since he was just getting used to it.
A bright light came from above, and suddenly the sound of lightning rung through the night sky, and struck not to far away from where the boy was standing. He sped up, looking to the sky, noticing the repeating flash of light followed by thunder. That has to be some type of artificial lightning, lightning doesn't strike so many times so quickly., He noted, coming to a halt on his cycle, parking on the curb of the street.
Not really dressed up in his superhero attire, he tried not to draw attention to himself. He walked around in the middle of the street, his head tilted up, searching for the source of the lightning.

Re: The ATL
"I keep to myself mainly, though I keep contact with family and friends, let them know I didn't die out here." He thought about his sister and his mom, then to his dad leaving. "I did almost get pretty well known, but in a different way. My band made it pretty big, but I don't really care for mainstream media so I left." Mosh thought about his old band mates, "We keep in touch though, still friends. Might of heard of them, 'Massdementia' ring any bells?" Mosh thought about her comment on being more powerful than her, answering her back in a fashion he felt most complementary, "You're impressive Miss Metis, especially in a niche I couldn't fit into, the whole stealth thing. I'm pretty much a 'blow everyone away' kinda guy, but you, you're stealthy, quiet. Ever think about becoming an informant or spy?"

Re: The ATL
"Massdementia huh? I don't think I own any albums. Sounds familiar. Maybe I saw you at a local show, or some guy wanted me to go to a concert with him. She jumped down from the air conditioning unit, pacing near the edge of the building. "A spy huh? I don't know who I would spy for. Most people needing spies probably aren't the most heroic. It certainly makes getting around quietly easy though." She smiled at Mosh. "It must be nice to have family to keep in touch with. I guess you could say my little brother is the reason I decided to help people." she paced slowly, and looked off in the other directions.

Re: The ATL
"Just a suggestion. I always thought it might be cool to be a spy, James Bond style, though nothing is ever as cool as the movies portray them." Mosh sat for awhile before the question that was eating at his mind, "So did your brother...pass?" It was the only way he knew to ask. He hoped he wasn't about to hit a nerve or bad spot, but he felt like they were bonding, actually turning this chance encounter into one of the few friendships he had in the world.

Re: The ATL
"So did your brother...pass?"
Metis smiled at the question, but she wasn't sure why. It just seemed somehow....absurd. She looked off into the dark sky, which for her of course wasn't dark at all. "Yes, I'm afraid I lost my brother. To my own foolishness." She tried to hide the sadness wavering in her voice, but wasn't completely successful. "When I started to realize my powers, I thought it meant I could make things better for us but...." she looked down at her hand and small globs of shadow matter pooled up, flowing down her hand and dropped to the ground to disappear. "I went about things all wrong. I was just a stupid kid."

Re: The ATL
Mosh walked over to Metis. He put his hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry. I can't imagine how you must feel. But surely you know you can't think it's your fault. I remember the first time I used my powers, I killed ten men. Fortunately they weren't the best of people anyway, but I was wreckless starting out. I caused my share of mishaps, accidents, injuries, and I was really trying to help people. Though at the beginning it was for more selfish reasons." Mosh came around to her side, putting his arm around her in a half hug. "I don't know if you ever did, if you still do, but you never should."

Re: The ATL
"I blame myself, but I don't carry my guilt like a cross." Metis spoke without looking at Mosh. "It is just a reminder of why I need to be more hero-like." As she spoke, Mosh snuck an arm around her waist. Metis glanced at him with her dark eyes, flashing an evil grin. "You should probably be careful with your hands. I've been known to go off the deep end when people get too touchy."
Metis blinked a couple times, and giggled to herself. She stretched her arms high up in the air and licked her lips. "So, whattaya say music boy?" She looked at him with those black eyes of hers. "The night is still young. You wanna go find so crime?" Her voice had taken on lyrical quality, and she ended every sentence with a giggle.
