Re: The big apple
Before he waited for his answer. He heard commotion not too far from the outside. It was a sharp screech. What kind of animal makes that noise?
"Run away before I lose control"
Who was that? Lose control of what?
He then heard grunting and struggle. Alright, it's time to take a look. His new "outfit" had started to melt over him, giving him the invisible appearance he had before. After that alley way commotion, it would probably be best not to be seen.
It was that girl before. Eclipse. There was someone else with her too. What was this guy's deal though? He looked like he was turning primal before there very eyes. Judging from the girl's body language, this guy was not a friend.
He whipped his right hand at the "beast". A whip like structure was being formed from the glass. It had thorns growing on it as it extended towards the beast. The idea was to have the whip wrap around the monster and hook into it. Because the whip was part of him, naturally it was reflecting the light around it as well.
"you attacked the wrong person, monster."

Raptors heightened senses he smelled the the intruder before he saw him and letting out that ear splitting shriek Raptor bunched his legs and jumped pushing off the alley wall he corkscrewed behind the intruder using only smell to detect the persons pheromones. Raptor swung around throwing all his weight and strength into his 4 bone spike protruding tail and aiming right for the persons rib cage where the 9 inch bone spikes would rip straight through the intruders organs, He would not die straight away but would be immobilized permanently .

"OUt of the Way, Short stack!" Marcus yelled as he barreled past Vitreo and out into the alley, buck naked. His six foot six, 300lbs, pound frame collided with the distracted lizardman. He could tell by how quickly the creature moved that it was faster than him so he knew an open strike was out of the question. Instead Marcus choose a flying tackle, leaping in to the air He caught the ; tiny in comparison, strange looking creature in the mid section, leveling him.
Marcus could already feel the blood starting to pound in his brain, he knew that if he wasn't careful he'd slip right back into his berserker state before they even knew what was happening. He had to try to control himself.
"Stop this NOW! Or I'll be forced to crush you Demon!" Marcus growled, his massive fist in the air while the other was like a vice on the creatures neck.

Marcus laughed as the brittle bone shards shattered off of his nearly impenetrable hide.
"Yer gonna have to try harder than that BOY!" But it was already too late. The meaningless attack against him was more than enough to push his rage over the edge and into full fury. Marcus drawing from his years of Greco-Roman wrestling experience coupled with the lethal fighting techniques learned in the Marine Corps. special forces; Marcus brought down an elbow strike that hit squarely on the beasts jawline, sending teeth flying. The strike itself delivering enough force to sink the lizard-man's head and inch deep into the pavement.
He could tell that this creature was as durable as himself, but lacked the technical skills in combat that he possessed. If the 150llb punk wanted to keep it up he would soon find him self on the receiving end of a lethal attack.

Re: The big apple
It was a long story on how Destrock had gotten here. It all started a month ago. He herd there had been a economic dispute and talk of new laws near the Milky Way system. Destrock was not a bad gang leader. He had a heart; he just usually decided not to show it. Sure, he could be a jerk, an ass, but he didn’t kill if he could help it. He had decided to send his most loyal member and best friend Jestmock to investigate and send back a report on how it would change the inter-galactic economy. One week later, he received a transmission from Earth that Jestmock had arrived there. He said a brief damage assessment of the galaxy would follow within the next 3 days. It never came. A week later, Destrock had decided. He was going to go after him. Destrock readied his ship, told his friends he would be back within a week. He left Kirfast in temporary charge. Kirfast was generally someone he could trust, so he felt no worries as he left. It was a 5 day journey, but he encountered no problems, he was used to travailing long distances. The first problem was the earth's atmosphere. It sent his navigation device haywire, and his controls weren't responding very much. He did all he could to steer upwards to land, but from his last view from his windshield, he wasn't successful.
When he awoke, he found his pod in pieces. He was lying about 4 meters from what was vaguely recognizable as the body. He sat up. He was in a grassy area. It was damp, there was not much but green life around. He sat up. To him, it was a very strange place. Apart from the scatted pieces of machinery, it was an area with little but fields of grass. He had herd stories about them on Festo, but he only really knew the domed cities of it. He had seen tress and grass on another planet before, but it had been a very small patch. Here there was loads of it. He saw a piece of his pod left in one piece. Although throughly cracked, he could just make out what his navigation screen said. He was about 80 miles west of where he should be. It said he was inside an area called Vermont, and his destination was northern New York. So he walked. The more he did, tough, the stranger this planet seemed. He saw what looked civilization after the 4 days, and headed towards its. It was strange. There was this odd, rough substance all over the ground. The buildings were rectangular. Destrock had never seen such strangeness. The people there didn't seem in a helpful mood. When they saw, they would scream and run away. Thne one pointed it at him, and he saw a blinding flash. He flinched and swore. Then, all of a sudden, these vehicles pulling up, making loud noises. Then he saw the men inside get out and point guns at him, except these guns seemed small and low powered, but he wasn't going to take the chance that they weren't going to hurt him. He bolted away, ignoring the screams and loud banging noises coming form behind him, he just ran. He ran until he had reached an area filled with these tall, brown things covered in green at the top. he ran in and waited. Once it got dark, he continued to where he believed he was supposed to go. In another week, he found where he was supposed to be.
He could tell he was getting close, he saw a few more civilizations, but stayed clear of them, until he reached the last one. He saw it. A pod. It was blurry, it was far away, just on the edge of one of the civilizations, but he could tell what it was. But, the closer he got, the more he could see something was up. Then he saw it. The pod saw smashed. It wasn't scattered, it was still in one piece, but it was damaged. Destrock found himself running towards it, scared, and panicking heavily. He pulled the dented door away and ran inside. The memory would never leave him.
There, slumped over the control panel, was Jesmock. There was a hole in the back of his head. There was a small puddle of green liquid on the floor. There was his friend, his life-filled, optimistic friend, his companion, his most trusted advisor, there he was...dead.
Destrock stumbled away. He left it there. He couldn't look at it for one more second. He walked away, not caring that he was heading right into the heart of one of the biggest civilizations in the world.

Re: The big apple
Dr. Anastasia Siren walked in pace with the two police officers that escorted her, she was more than anxious, she was down right nervous. Marcus had been her patient since he'd been dishonorable discharged from his military career and with out the formal structure he slid down into a pit of despair. She'd gotten hopeful when Mr. Levine had offered Marcus a career in the Pro Wrestling racket, but it didn't last long as he soon found himself disappointed at the lack of competition he found. It was no wonder with his burgeoning abilities, few men; no matter how physically strong; could compete with super powers. Then came the crushing blow of the governing committee out right banning him from any competition from that point forward. It wasn't that unbelievable after what he'd done to fellow wrestler ; Bonecrusher; during some sort of press conference. She'd read that he was still in a coma months after the incident.
Not long after Marcus stopped coming to see her, professionally anyway. It was true she had started a personal relationship with one of her patients, something not only frowned upon, but grounds for disbarment. Once the voluntary visits had stopped she had been force to seek a court order, stating that Marcus remain in therapy until his issues could be farther examined. It was this act of compassion that had ended their relationship and soon had become a great source of tension between them. And now this he'd simply disappeared all together. The stress of the situation was starting to wear on her, Ana reached up and rubbed her temples.
"You alright doc?" Officer Johnson asked, seeing her obvious discomfort.
"aahhhh yeah.....I guess I'll just have to be, won't I?" She said, quickly snapping back into professional mode. "Listen....I know Marcus is a very dangerous man, Officer Johnson. The thing is that I can reach him, I've seen him in one of his rages and I can bring him back....I've done it...So what I am asking is for you to call me if you get a lock on his location...." She tried to sound as convincing as she could but her bare emotions were starting to sneak in and she stopped short before any prying questions started getting tossed in her direction.
"Well, Ms. Siren....although we really appreciate your cooperation in this matter, we simply couldn't risk endangering you. Marcus Rome isn't the first Meta-Human NYPD has had to deal with. I can promise you that we will try to end this peaceably but if what you're saying about his condition is correct, than more likely than not we'll have to use force. And while dealing with a nearly invulnerable, super strong psychotic superman 'force' usually involves a tank or two. We can only hope that he comes to his senses and turns himself in. To be honest, from my experience, that is fairly unlikely. These new Super-people usually have the mind set that they are above the law."
Ana shook her head at the implication. She knew that the officer was just telling her like it was. She decided right, then and there that she was going to do her damnedest to find Marcus before it came to that.

Re: The big apple
(not for anything, but can you smell anything behind bullet proof glass? My characters
entire body is encased in it, so unless glass has a distinguished smell...)
The giant man was holding the monster down. Perfect. The glass from apartment windows, cars, etc would leave their original placings and would converge around the invisible man. They would reach the floor and snake their way to the beast. If that meant making their way up the warrior's body, then so be it. The idea was that the glass would connect with the monster's flesh. It would situate itself onto where ever it touched, it would thicken, and slowly stretch over the beast until it finally encased it in a tight, shell.
Provided it would work, the glass would do nothing but get thicker and thicker. Not that it would matter much though, since if it DID work as planned, there would be no way for the monster to gain the momentum needed behind his attacks to break said glass, let alone anything else at all.

Re: The big apple
Bullet proof glass doesn't actually block a smell. Pheromones float around everyone even outside the body so encasing something the smell of pheromones would still be there.)
Raptor growled as the glass enfolded him but every time it moved to his face his jaws crushed it easily but the rest of his body was being encased to fast to stop. He growled trying to push up but the glass had traveled over his chest, arms, and legs completely capturing the feral beast. Raptor laid his head back the carnal instincts leaving his eyes to be replaced with a softer look. "Ok thanks for the help but um kinda stuck here. How about a hand? Raptor waited knowing his life was in the hands of the glass dude but the hunger had left his body and the nature of the raptor had left as well. "Come on I never did anything to you I just want out.

Re: The big apple
The glass still trailed up the beast's head. Any area it's jaws could not reach, the glass was sure to go. Adriano had stopped the glass's movement over the lizard man's body just as all that remained was his eyes and his mouth. It eventually conquered his neck, as to make sure his head stayed in place. The glass still grows thicker.
"The only reason you didn't do anything to me is because of that titan man right there. You wanted to kill me. Look at you, so strong before, but now you are a caged insect begging for your life. Your pitiful plea for help is ironic. Surly an art of it's own."
The inner-most layer of the glass started to get sharper. spikes could be felt forming around the beast's body. They weren't deep enough to actually pierce the skin yet, but just big and sharp enough for him to not be able to ignore them.
"Also, you attacked this young girl. I am not alright with this. I am sure you hurt many other people as well, yes? Don't bother struggling by the way. If I see you are trying to break free, I will drive all those spike you feel right now into you. You're going to be turned into a nice leather pin cushion, make no mistake."
Adriano paused for a moment, thinking of his next action
"I could turn you over to the police, or pest control. Who ever deals with your kind. They are going to lock you up where you can't harm anyone ever again, or if you prefer, I'll kill you where you stand. The world doesn't need something as hideous as you. Make your choice before I make it for you."
