Re: The big apple
"Keep it up glass man..." Marcus whispered again(yes whispered again...as in nobody but some one right up in my business would hear) as he followed the trail of mysterious falling objects which seemed much more obvious than the occasional whispered; "this way" but who was he to judge.
This new friend was proving to be much more troublesome than he wanted, but what was one to do when faced with possible manslaughter charges on top of the already; delusions of grandeur he was faced with.

Re: The big apple
Eventually Adriano approached an abandoned home quite a few blocks away from the incident. No one has lived in there for years. It was baron, musty, and just generally unpleasant. However, it would do for the situation at hand. As he reached the doorway, his body began to "materialize" once again. Seeing as there wasn't even a lock, he just opened the entrance and walked in.
"It would be best to lay low for a while."
Honestly, that entire situation wouldn't have been a problem if he had just ditched the big guy, but he would rather have him not level the city.

Re: The big apple
Marcus skidded to a halt as the entered the abandoned building. A normal man would have been winded, and sore footed after keeping up the pace, but The Centurion was far from normal. He looked around for a second before finally seeing the glass man come back into focus.
"We were followed, you know..." Marcus said, now that he could see the strange figure in the dim lights shining in through the boarded up windows. "A small Asian girl, she been on to us since we left the alley. She sneaky but with my training it was easy enough to spot her." Marcus said as he tapped his left shoulder and exposed the USMC tattoo on his arm.
The Police sirens had stopped but their flashing lights could still be seen blocks away. They had obviously arrived on the scene and were probably taking statements from witnesses by now. Marcus could only wonder what the News and papers would say once the story got out.
"What is your name, glass man? I am called The Centurion." Marcus strode around the room and viewed the windows and doors as he surveyed fortifications. The apartment hadn't been lived in, and Marcus had to wonder why he'd brought him here. It obviously wasn't the man's residence, but then again it was probably pretty smart of the fellow to not bring a violent stranger back to wear he lived. Then again this glass man maybe working with the small Asian girl and this could be some sort of trap they were trying to spring on him. Marcus's hand was never far from the hilt of Gladius sword on his hip.

Re: The big apple
The glass slowly slivered down his face to reveal his true face. Eventually, it all hid under his clothing, just like it was never there in the first place. Centurion was a pretty cool name. He would have to think up something to compete with that. Something intelligent and majestic.
"You may call me Vitreo."
The glass had then made itself apparent. It formed like a toga with a stain glass shawl. It just seemed...proper with the name.
"As for the asian girl, I wouldn't worry so much about her. A small kitten that's been following me for a little while, really. She seems crafty, but probably harmless."

Re: The big apple
'Kill him.... smash him into a million shards and do it now! He will betray you...Destroy him he is unworthy of your company....DO IT ...DO IT DO IT DO IT!' The cold voice inside of Marcus's head started to scream. It was Mars, or his father, or his drill instructor or his high school wrestling coach or all of them wrapped up in to one plotting, angry collage that demanded satisfaction.
beep beep beep[i].
The sound was that of Marcus's Marine Corps' issued wrist watch going off and it snapped him out of the delusion. He shook his head and tried to regain his composure. Seeing Vitreo staring at him, he offer a manufactured excuse for the dazed look he was sure had freaked his new companion out.
"That blast to my eye must of scrambled my head more than I thought..." Marcus said, rubbing the undamaged orb to prove the point. He reached down and pressed a button that shut off the the alarm. Obviously a cue set to remind him of something, Marcus reached around under his cape and fondled through the small belt pouch until he came up with a amber bottle of prescription medicine.
Marcus stared at it for several seconds before huffing a laugh and then hurling it against the wall. His considerable strength disintegrated it into a million pieces, sending pills flying everywhere. "Won't be needing that crap any more." He said with a sneer. \
Marcus Then viewed the state of his costume. It was covered in blood and gore, He wasn't about to sit around all night smelling the stench, that was for sure. He started to disrobe, he did so in full view of Vitreo with out any shame what so ever. "Ha..Bloods indeed...Well we certainly helped those gang members invoke their namesake didn't we? hahahahaHAHAHAHhahahahha" Marcus laughed more to himself than the benefit of his partner.
"Sooo Vitreo....What are your plans? I personally am on a homage to find the vestments that were taken from me. A man of your talents could be very useful to my cause....Are you interested in helping me?" Marcus said with a happy, sappy grin on his face. The act of going from angry to happy in split seconds was off putting to say the least.

Re: The big apple
Adriano had ignored his question. That entire episode Centurion had just had was unbecoming, to say the least. Then came the pills.
"Wanna tell me what those pills were for?"
This guy was a real head case. Probably the most unstable out of everyone he had ran into. He saw it in his eyes. He thought about attacking Adriano. He was big, he was impervious, but in his rage mode, he was an unthinking animal. Adriano would remember that, and use it to his advantage if he needed to.

Re: The big apple
Phil Levine was sitting on his couch enjoying the usual mix of fetish pornography and cheap booze when the knock at the door interrupted the ritual that he hadn't been able to partake in since the invitation had been offered to his unwelcome house guest. But now that Marcus Rome had left he had been at it for hours and had no intention of stopping just to answer a knock at the door that was most likely some missionary hocking their religious wares.
"Go Away! I am F#CKING BUSY! I don't give a rat's ass about eternal salvation any-damn-way!" Phil screamed from his dilapidated couch, his pudgy hair covered frame hunched over so that his giant fat belly covered almost anything unsightly anyway.
"Police....Open Up Mr. Levine!" An officer announced from the other side of the dead bolted door, and the knocking became the pounding from a heavy flashlight.
"Alright....I SAID ALRIGHT GODDAMMIT! HOLD ON A F*CKING SECOND I ALMOST DONE!" Phil replied, quickening his pace to adjust for the new deadline. But it was no use, the moment had slipped away and with it went any hopes of completion. Phil grumbled something under his breath and then tucked his unmentionables back into his yellow stained boxer shorts. He made his way over to the door and up on to the foot stool that aided the short man in peeping out the eye hole. Two policeman and a woman in a white doctors jacket stood outside.
"heh....well at least it isn't mob enforcers...hehehe" The disgusting little fat man giggled to himself before popping the latch of the dead bolt but not the chain lock. He opened it only a crack enough to make face to face with the officers.
"Well ....What the F*ck do you want....I pay my alimony every month..." He growled out at them, giving a sly wink to the attractive looking female doctor.
"Mr. Levine....We here to investigate a possible multiple murder, sir. We have this address listed as a Mr. Marcus Rome's last known whereabouts...is that correct?" The tall black officer stated flatly.
"It was true....But he F*cked off just today...Get it? He don't live here no more...Why what did that f*cking psycho do now?" Phil acted as though he didn't care but it was a ruse.
"We are not at liberty to say sir....the case is still pending investigation. Do you mind if we come in and have a look around?" The officer stated, leaning his head closer to peak inside a bit.
"Alright I suppose so....But you better not track any filth off'n the street in here...I keep a clean house!" Phil said as he unlocked the door and allowed the three in. It of course was a complete lie and the lead officer had to plug his nose as the stench hit him upon entry.
Porn still blasting at nearly full volume, trash ankle deep, and the smell of rotten milk and cigars pelted the investigators as they slowly made their way in. The two uniformed police men went about securing each of the small rooms, while the doctor, seemingly unfazed by Phil dirty facial expressions confronted him directly.
"Mr. Levine...Do you know if Marcus is still on his prescribed medication?" The beautiful professional looking woman asked as she adjusted her glasses.
"aaahhh Yeah ! Yer that Doctor right? Marcus's Doctor that he's always going on about huh? Boy he was right you are one hot piece of a$$!"Phil ignored her question and proceeded to mentally grope her.
"Mr. Levine...This is serious do you know if Marcus stopped taking his pills?" She stated, all business like.
"Shit if I know lady...but I tell ya what....He was going on about that 'God-o-War' shit before he left....And he was as serious as a heart attack!" Phil said with a laugh.

Re: The big apple
As Destrock wandered through the streets of northern Manhattan, he wondered how he could have possibly landed himself in such a hopeless and pointless situation. Only two weeks ago, he had been sitting comfortably in a chair, at his gangs headquarters, with all the money on Festo in front of him. He had power, money, and friends. He was enjoying himself. Then, he had to come here to find Jestmock, who had been gone for a month. Now, Jesmock was gone. His friend, his best friend...
No point in thinking about that now . Here he was, No ship, no communication method, in a world where he would be an outcast. He only had one hope. Surely, someone was going to come looking for him, he was a well respected leader, but then again, Kirfast might presume were both dead and just run the thing. Every time someone saw him, the screamed and ran away. As he walked more and more southern, more and more people were there, more and more screams

"There is no sign of him here ma'am, except for a few articles of clothing; that due to the noticeable size difference might not be Mr. Levines.'." Officer Johnson said to the female Doctor.
Phil raised his middle finger to salute the disrespectful comment. "Yeah like I said a$$hole."
"Alright Mr. Levine, No need to be hostile were just following some leads. Listen If you do happen to hear from him be sure to give me a call, will you? Officer Johnson said, taking one last disgusted look at the ungodly acts being performed on Phil's television.
"yeah sure thing a$$hole, It'll be the first thing I do.....after I get done tickling my chocolate starfish that is....heheheheeh" Phil retorted, seeing the officer's discomfort at the vile acts being perpetrated in his very favorite form of entertainment.
"Mr. Levine......I just want to state again that although Marcus seems to have noble intentions, his psychosis will eventually twist those intentions into something far less acceptable in today standards. He is a very dangerous person off of his medication and if you mix that with the added danger of what ever super powers he's manifested, it makes him a danger to all public safety. Please promise me that you'll get a hold of Officer Johnson the fist sign you have of him. I promise that I will be cooperating 100% and if I can reach Marcus than I can help him...before things escalate any further....ok?" She said in her most heart felt tone.
"Sure thing doc....hey....and if ya ever get bored I got some issues of my own I like to work out...sweet pants...." Phil grinned, showing his filthy yellow twisted grin.
"Thank you Mr. Levine that will be all" Officer Johnson said with enough spite to back Phil up a step or two. "Please Doctor Siren...let's get going there is still alot of evidence process and witness left to interview. "
With that the trio took leave of the disgusting apartment and headed down the hallway.

Raptor stalked the shadows staring at the woman at the end of the Alley way moving silently as a shadow his claws flexing as he stared hungrily at the woman with carnal eyes. He moved closer bunching the powerful muscles in his legs his mind working quickly as drool dripped from his starving jowls and 3 rows of insanely sharp teeth strong enough to bite through steel.
Raptor moved closer his long powerful legs closing the distance and with a raptors screech leaped into the air aiming to bring his powerful claws on to the woman's shoulder and sink his 6 inch toe claw into her chest and rip up causing paralyzing pain that would allow him to eat her alive.

Re: The big apple
Raptor landed on the shield only to be blown back but flipped easily in the air and slid back as he landed letting out a ear splitting shriek at the woman, Glowing primal eyes changed for a split second as a young voice echoed from the drooling mouth. "Run get away before I lose control". The raptor dropped to it's knees as if some invisible grip was holding it back but the eyes were slowly becoming carnal again. Raptor looked up snapping powerful jaws at the woman trying to get at her.

Re: The big apple
Before he waited for his answer. He heard commotion not too far from the outside. It was a sharp screech. What kind of animal makes that noise?
"Run away before I lose control"
Who was that? Lose control of what?
He then heard grunting and struggle. Alright, it's time to take a look. His new "outfit" had started to melt over him, giving him the invisible appearance he had before. After that alley way commotion, it would probably be best not to be seen.
