Hi, I'm Caen/Nova. I'm into comics and superheroes, especially female ones with grossly oversized weapons.

I've been into RPGs since time immemorial, starting with D&D and moving on to video games and play-by-post. I used to play a superhero game very similar to this one back in 2006. I miss it, which is what led to me seeking out SRPG. I've been lurking the site since around summer of last year, but was too busy to play. Things have finally settled down for me, so now I'm looking forward to telling stories.

Roleplaying tends to inspire me to write and draw; I'm hoping to use Superhero RPG as a catalyst for my creative outlets. So far, so good. See you guys out there.

Sorry, I'm not very good at introductions. Been reading the rules and this sounds like a pretty fun site. As I'm writing this, I have my first character almost ready to go. I mainly just wanted to clarify something. Superheroes as a whole are generally out of favor with the public right? The purge doesn't seem to have any posts in phases 2 or 3, so I was wondering how the situation ended. Is the law still ongoing, just not what the main plot is about, or is it non-canon now? I'm asking cause it affects my character a bit.

Anyways, hope my writing will be up to snuff or whatever you want to call it.

But to be honest, Heroes are known. The public knows of their existence, but they're torn between liking or hating them. There are obviously going to be people that are insanely happy to see heroes, and others that are meh, and then the group of people that hate them.

And as to the law, metahumans are still likely wanted for experimenting by most governments, so keeping a secret identity is key.
