Remove Inactive Users?

There's an option through Forumotion.com's forum editor to send out a mass notice to inactive members. I doubt the people who have an email account for their usernames would look for the email, but I also believe the message can be sent to their accounts on the message board.

I believe you can put a delay on deleting their accounts that way, but it would also be good to go through and delete the accounts that only posted once and then left, and never came back.

I know some people are reading this saying "Well, what if we leave and we don't get to say anything?"

Well, I believe a three month leave is acceptable. Or, if you leave a message in the "Introduction" area of the forum, people will not be worried.

Because, if you're so worried about getting deleted from a forum in the first place, I'm sure you can find a way to go to a local library and use a computer. Forumotion is usually not blocked on public computers, so you may be able to let us know of your absence there!

Also, if you fail to make note of your absence, perhaps a five month wait could be nice..

It's really just a suggestion more than anything.. so, what do you think?

Seems kinda pointless to me honestly. Inactive accounts aren't hurting anyone, and you never know when someone might stumble back across this place and log in on their old account. Not saying it happens everyday, but still. I don't see any reason to remove those users.
